I have a decent size farm, but it is so hard to get a decent price on gear  Undecided  If I did not have the power hookup I wouldn't even bother.  Even with free power the margins these days flat out suck.

if you have extra room, have you ever thought of hosting for others? I would pay a fee to have some machines hosted.
2542  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra AIRE Miner 16nm PreOrder on: September 18, 2014, 09:56:08 PM
Their estimate on when it will ship is 3 months wide. In other words, they have no fucking clue when it'll ship, and no refunds or compensation if they don't meet that monster window. Anyone pre-ordering that is an idiot.

Didn't the KNC Neptune have an order window of 6 months?  (Q1 and Q2 of 2014?) Just goes to show that people see dollar signs in front of their eyes.

And yes, it is true that their ToS is stupid and bullshit and wouldn't hold up in court, but they put them there to try to deter people from going that route.  You would absolutely win in any court quiet easily actually, but the easier thing to do would be to not order in the first place.

JUST SAY NO TO PRE-ORDERS!
2543  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 0.5 BTC Casascius Coin 2013 ANACS MS-64 on: September 18, 2014, 05:31:25 PM
I will offer .68 btc, shipped, either you send first or we use escrow.

That's kinda less. We can do 0.75. I wont send first as I need money for airmail too :O

Noobs not sending first probably isn't gonna fly... I can escrow for you guys if you like, PM for details.

My offer stands at .68 and will be happy to have nubbins escrow.  I will also pay escrow fees, but you are not going to find anyone to send any money first to pay for shipping.  Its just not going to happen, so if you can find the couple of bucks (use regular post, no big deal, just insure it) and willing to go to my price, we can make this happen.

Otherwise, thanks for reviewing my offer.

Well another win this morning!  More btc streaming into my wallet and another bet out already for this afternoon.  We have been on fire lately, and my bitcoin balance is growing, nice picks and keep it up.

I am still trying to figure out how the swaps work from the lending side, but I found something I thought was a little odd.  I have a swap lent for 30 days, and it has been lent fully for the last 3 days.  The last 2 days I received the exact same amount of interest deposited into my account, but today, it was less.  Shouldn't the same amount be earned in interest each day, given that it was lent out all day, and for the same interest rate?

Just to be 100% sure: is it FRR (variable, flash-rate) or fixed-rate swap?

Ente

I think it was fixed rate, I typed in the box, 30 days, 0.0165% interest rate, 1 btc

Follow up, received the interest to my account for the following day (4th day of loan) and it was back to what the first 2 days had been.  So that makes 3 days with the same interest amount and 1 day with a different amount.  Something isn't right, unless there is something I am not thinking of that would cause 1 day to have a lower amount of interest paid?

Another great win!  My bankroll is steadily increasing, and it has only been a week since I have subscribed.  Very nice picks!

What the F&$% TradeFortress.  You negative rep'd me!  I deleted the damn signature campaign add a few days ago!  I understand if you want to try and do some good in this community, givin your past, but after getting your pretentious as hell PM, I removed the freaking ad and you still left negative trust on my account.

Remove it now, as I removed the ad when I found out they were having problems, you have no basis for saying that I am a potential scammer!

Negative feedback from TF will only make you appear more trustworthy.  Don't worry about it.

I realize that, and it is a badge of honor in the same way that my BlackArrow neg rep is, but I thought since he took the time to craft those PM's and am trying to get back into this community, he would at least be trustworthy, this just shows he is the same person that ran off with all our btc.

Evian Thonon Gaillard v Olympique Marseille, Sunday, September 14, 2014   3:00 PM

That line is also having problems.  When trying to bet it, it keeps saying the odds have changed, bet not accepted, but nothing changes and you cant submit it.  Been going on for at least a couple hours.
2553  Other / Meta / Re: Trade fortress wtf on: September 13, 2014, 09:43:15 PM
I also received the PM from him, here was my email response a few days ago...

So let me get this straight.  Because of you, I lost 10.68 bitcoins in coinlenders, 10.68 bitcoins that I was planning on using for my wedding, for my beautiful bride, to give her the wedding that she dreamed of.  Now that those 10.68 bitcoins were stolen from me, I am living paycheck to paycheck, because every excess dollar I get goes straight into a bank account to try to save up enough to be able to pay for a minimal wedding, so that she can at least have a nice night.  Thank goodness my parents loaned me some money (which I have to pay back), otherwise I would not have been able to make the down payment on the venue, and we probably would have nothing at this point.

Now, when I try to make a few dollars anyway I can, and that includes a forum signature that I put up before anything happened to dicebitco, you come along again and tell me that I must remove it, or you will neg rep me for supporting a scam?  Not even asking if I will, no, you are telling me I have to!  Did I get that about right?  I assume its safe to say that you have always PM'd everyone sporting a, "CryptoMiner.com" signature as well, since that is the most obvious scam/ponzi ever contrived.

I have been following them closely, and agree that something is not right, but you have no right to tell me who I can/cannot support.  I will be taking down the signature link, not because of your message, but because I believe something is wrong and I will not support any scams in the bitcoin community.

DebitMe

Got a response saying he would be willing to perform coding services in return for writing off his debts.  Either he is the same guy, and he already had a website hacked, in which case, why would I want him to code for me?  He is the same guy and stole everything, in which case why would I want him coding for me?  Or its someone else, in which case, why would I want them coding for me?  I don't even know enough about coding to vet the code after it was finished, I would have to pay someone else then to go through it and find bugs/backdoors.  I have always had good ideas, that later someone implements, just not the coding knowledge to get it done.

EDIT:  The way I see it though, is that I should have enough paid to him to setup any website that I could ever want.  10.68 btc should be enough to code just about anything I could relatively want.  Perhaps its time to revisit my physical scratchcard ticket idea again?

Put the ad in my signature, and got paid to my account and immediately withdrew. The payment came right through and is now sitting in my address.

Thanks.

Another good selection!  I have been following Richard on and off for some time now (since he started this thread, lol I remember when it was less than a page long), and I must say, he has been a very trustworthy capper, as well as very accurate.  All bets are put out prior to the game starting, and we have fun in the chat room that he set up talking about sports.

So far I have been very happy with my subscription and will probably continue paying the monthly fee as long as the correct picks keep coming, and I have no reason to believe that they won't.

My signature has been changed, awaiting first payout at which point I will withdraw and report on whether it arrives or not (not expecting it not to, just going to report on whether it is working or not)

Thanks
