You mean you had to copy it couple times? I can't see how it is possible to fail pasting it. Somehow copying from your quote failed to show proper formatting, so I went and copy/pasted from Brewins post a page back and that seemed to work. Not sure why yours would be different, but oh well. The difference is usually that hero members have better posts and spam less. Then tell me why it wouldn't be higher rates for legends too? With that pattern they should get paid more. |

Can't see why it would. There's no difference in their signature prominence and they're only different in name. PD's Hero and Snr sigs are the same as well anyway. Tell me the difference of senior and hero member signatures in this campaign... And still hero members get paid more. It's just based on they are higher rank, no real difference in signature. No shit!?  That was exactly my point. Being the same code do not means they will look the same. Heroes can have background and other stuff, things that will be ignorated for Seniors. Will look for examples. They do look same as you can see from those examples at front page. There is possibility to make it look better for hero members, but this possibility isn't in use and still heroes get paid more, even though they use same sig, and this is why I can't see why legends could not get bigger payout too? Got my point now? |

I added a new Legendary membergroup with a yellow coin. I am completely open to the possibility of changing both the name and the coin color if people don't like them. In particular, if people find that threads are now too "glittery" with all of the yellow coins, I will remove the color or make it more subtle. If you think that some other color would work better, download the legendary.gif image, modify it with your color, and post your modified GIF image. Don't change anything but the color of that one region in the image, though. (I make these images by opening the image in GIMP, selecting the colored region, and then using the Colorize tool.) To make things more fun, the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement. You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity, but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.Also, I made it so that Staff have the coin icons for their post group instead of a fixed 5 coins. Then Theymos is retiring from the forum?

how did you get to legendary? Some quick glancing in meta suggests this is a recent change. Apparently my activity level is past whatever new threshold they set. Pretty sure it's 960 (hero x2). I ranked up. Do I have to change my signature? And how much do I get paid now? Is there any benefit on the signature space for legendary rank? i think there is no benefit on the signature space for Legendary member, So actually legendary is same as Hero member. Theymos are legendaries gonna have any more benefits than heroes? Bigger signatures?
Nope. Well, senior and hero members can both use same signature and still hero members get paid more. So it could be more for legends even if they have same sig too. |
