I have seen an transaction that didnt had any fee. it was 0.00 bitcoin, and never get confirmed.

The problem is that if there is no fee when you send transaction your transaction will not get verified.

The last "drop" from the last few days isnt actually a drop though it is merely more like a correction. If you browse through the speculation boards , you can noticed that there has been several warning for the upcoming correction and with the right time after the bailout was announced then the correction happened. If you are saying that "harmful" you are probably not here for the biggest crash of the history of BTC which burned alot of people who bought at the peak points. Atleast that gives you a glimpse on how "harmful" crash will occur, suspected that there will be lot of sell pressure when the price is nearing the resistance at $100 or so P.S : I could be wrong on this Ok, tell me what do you think for the next weeks (until the first weeks of August), what will be the price? |

If you try to co-relate bitcoin price immediately with a news, you'll most likely get fooled. In May 31, 2015 Andreas Antonopoulos predicted bitcoin price to tank in June, 2015. Yes, of course it's a good way to make money by hodling bitcoin for a long time, at least it seems so for now.., but I mean for the long term.., because for the short term there are other way which requires more knowledge and skill like trading, altcoin trading, various investment options and stuff  And then if Bitcoin dies, you'll turn around and say "wow, I shouldn't have held long-term!" Quit acting like this is a perfect scenario, when it's not. Holding Bitcoin is still VERY MUCH a high-risk situation. Just check this year and last year price of the bitcoin? not a stable price. Wonder what will happened in near future? it's high high risk Yes, it's high high risk, but still a good way to make money long term. Quit acting requires more knowledge and you can get burned big time. So you don't want to spend days studying crypto just buy some btc, hold, and you should be fine in the long run Unless BTC collapses of course...  Well i know it is very very risk. We know the fact about the last few days it was a huge rise(at least for me) and again dropping. |

I only now thought about that all the currency controls at airports are completely useless when it comes to bitcoin. Till now people tried to hide cash in clothes, use diamonds or something, now they have a usbstick with an image that has a tiny encrypted file inside that contains a private key. Its so absolutely hideable that its funny when they would try to search someone. I mean all these controls would go to waste. You can hide a small file or even some signs everywhere.
In a sense bitcoin is awesome.
I can just imagine paying at the airport for the flight and waiting for the confirmation(like the stress test that was). I would lost the flight until the confirmation lol |

I read today that greece people are limited to use the ATM only for 60€ which is pretty low for a person living there.
That's why people are moving to bitcoin.
People don't have to move to Bitcoin. They just have to get their cash out of the banks. It is the government control and the banks which are the problem. If they withdraw euros and stuff it under their pillow, they should be okay. Why not moving to bitcoin, when government holds their money. It's a better move if they choose bitcoin. |
