It never occurred to me that this kind of thing could be made into content  Smiley
Next, who publishes NFTs merit projects ?

Me, I want to do it. Except I'm not sure if I'd have any buyers.

I'm keen on the idea of developing forum-related NFTs using the Counterparty (XCP) protocol, which uses the Bitcoin blockchain... Just have to finalize the standards and quit various jobs to make the time to do it...

And it's either 5-2 or 4-3, not sure where you got 6-3 Smiley

Sorry, I slipped into a temporal plane and posted that from the future. Happens sometimes.

So long Geno Smith, we barely knew ye.

Thank god wheelz also lost. phew... Oh, sorry wheelz.

The race is tightening up as the two #1 teams lose and suchmoon becomes the only to go 6-3.. Casualties are already starting to take a toll... its probably been the most brutal yet entertaining season I've experienced thus far.
2564  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shamm copy-pasted his own post in order to earn merit on: October 25, 2021, 09:28:45 PM
It is a weird maneuver how a certain breed of new accounts rank up by explaining the dance of how to shitpost without getting banned. It's a pretty common theme these days, but not as offensive as some. I caught this account basically plagiarizing something months earlier but let them go with a warning.

I don't like the idea of preparing new accounts for this kind of long-term future on the forum, nor do I find it a meritable success, but oh well, the problem is easily resolved with the Ignore button:

This person is like, "Welp, guess I gotta crank out a post with everything I know about the Olympics." *cracks knuckles*

Being an athlete you will take time in practice and sometimes they will attempt in accident an surgery before they under go in final stage. Their practice is not an easy and they always check thier physical vital if they are physical fit to perform in the stage. In Olympic game is not just a simple game to execute in the stage a lot of athlete that our opponent that came from  different countries an we can socialize them all an we can not assure if were be the luckiest winner can perform and compete the other opponent.

We are currently offering a "buy-3-get-100-free" deal with HAPPYSHIBE (artwork recently added) and SHITCOIN. Buy 3 HAPPYSHIBES for 3 DOGE and get 100 SHITCOINS free!

This deal will only last until the remaining 2,000 HAPPYSHIBES in the dispenser have been sold.
2566  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk bar chart merit race on: October 25, 2021, 06:35:38 AM
I was rooting for myself to win but the highest I ever got was 10th place, dammit.

Anyway, good job OP

Edit: my favorite moment in this, as it was with the last version I saw, was during the end of the battle between LoyceV and DdmrDdmr when DdmrDdmr had nearly caught up and then LoyceV was just like "nope" and sped ahead into glory.

Congrats Heuristic... the deed is done and you clawed your way to a well-deserved V.

I'm gonna go cry in shame now.

5 more yards from Elijah Mitchell and its a lock for Heuristic...
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 25, 2021, 12:21:23 AM
@Heuristic if you lose this game then you have to start considering whether the universe actually hates you.

Oof that aged poorly. If its any consolation, I put too much emphasis on a 60% win probability in the "first half," so perhaps the universe doesn't actually hate you.

The day has finally come.

THE BIG BURN

This burn was not just big, it was THE BIGGEST COIN BURN OF ALL TIME!!

How big is 'big', you ask? THIS big:

That's right. We're flushing $19.116 BILLION worth of Shitcoins down the drain for the future benefit of society!! Have you ever seen such a thing?? NO, you havent!!!

I mean if the Guinness Book of World Records was here they'd probably be nitpicky about it, but let's see a bigger coin burn you weird Irish statisticians.

We're commemorating the occasion by reducing our distribution to 8,888 SHITCOIN tokens per future applicant!!

To take part, simply send me a PM with your Dogeparty address, or a Dogecoin address for which you own the private key. You can't move your Shitcoins without a private key!

The only requirement is your account must have at least 3 posts written before Oct 2021.

If you are coming here from Telegram but don't meet this requirement, PM me your Telegram name as well and you can qualify for 888 tokens.

HAPPY SHITCOINING!

ps: I have opened my PMs to newbs.

What's going on here? Apparently I'm having a nightmare.

I'm going back to sleep...

@Heuristic if you lose this game then you have to start considering whether the universe actually hates you.
2573  Economy / Reputation / Re: Apology to Nutildah on: October 24, 2021, 09:11:04 AM

The post is far over the top and laden with layers of who knows what but I accept his apology. It strikes me as oddly sincere.

And I'm glad its more about him than me. If you miss that, we could always summon c-hunter.

I was just thinking about what if the-one-who-shant-be-named had this type of revelatory moment on the forum. What do you think the odds of that are?

The quantity of assets in these dispensers is limited.

After a dispenser batch is sold out, a new one may be reloaded, but at a higher per-token price.

Our dispensers will never offer tokens at prices lower than the previous batch (in terms of DOGE, naturally).

We (yes I have a team) have a special series planned for later launch. The tokens listed above have already proven somewhat popular with the early re-Dogeparty community, and I wanted to give these special wares a home on Bitcointalk.

Additionally, this time I feel the Dogeparty project really has legs.
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Nutildah's Ancient Asset Emporium: Pristine Dogecoin Tokens from 2014 Unearthed on: October 24, 2021, 06:53:59 AM

Welcome to Nutildah's Ancient Asset Emporium!

Thanks to the recent resurrection of the Dogeparty platform (see here and here), assets created on the platform (tokenized DOGE stored on the Dogecoin blockchain) are once again accessible.

While Dogeparty was largely revamped to be used for the minting of DOGE-related NFTs, assets minted back in 2014-15 can also be utilized, including the ones I created and collected way back when.

All of the following assets were minted within one year of the Dogecoin genesis block, meaning they are a verifiable part of early DOGE history. Most of these assets were minted by myself, and all are locked from future issuance. Many have undergone burns of 80%+ of the total supply.

Tokens can be purchased directly from dispensers in the Dogeparty wallet for DOGE. Any DOGE sent to the dispenser address results in the dispensed asset automatically being sent to the sender address, at the specified exchange rate.

These are our tokens currently being offered via Dogeparty dispenser:

Name Total Supply  Mint Date   Dispenser PriceQty. Remain
COUNTERDOGE210,0008/14/201425 for 1 DOGE(SOLD OUT!)
DODGERDOGE20,0008/17/20141 for 1 DOGE(SOLD OUT!)
HAPPYSHIBE20,0008/14/20141 for 1 DOGE(SOLD OUT!)
MILLERLIGHT20,0008/27/20141 for 1 DOGE(SOLD OUT!)
SHITCOIN69,420,0008/15/2014100 for 3 DOGE4,770,600
WEBCOIN169,4208/17/20141 for 1 DOGE(SOLD OUT!)

*best seller

While you don't need a Dogeparty wallet in order to purchase the assets, you must have the private key of the address from which you are sending DOGE in order to redeem the assets.

Please note that these items are being sold as collectibles and there are no promises or guarantees associated with purchase, other than that they will exist for as long as the dogecoin blockchain.

I will most likely attach some proper and fitting artwork to them in the future.

The interesting thing about D'Ernest James is that he was picked up by 71.7% of leagues last week; prior to that he was only held by only 0.2%.

Works well because I was short of a solid RB2.

Lot of ugly games this week, and then some "meh" ones. The most fun game for me will be Chief/Titans, with the Chiefs giving a questionable 4.5 to the Titans. "Questionable" because Henry has been on such a rampage that he's on pace to destroy a lot of records if he stays healthy, some which he set 3 years in a row.

Damn, having a KC-heavy offense I really should bet against them, and then probably lose by a couple points in the spread.

The two most useless games are Rams/Lions with a 16-pt spread and Cardinals/Texans with a whopping 18-pt spread. Jeez does nobody have faith in either of those two dogs.

Then Monday's game will be fun to watch as the Saints are favored by 4.5 to beat the 'Hawks. I'm gonna assume Wilson is still out. Is Geno Smith really that bad? We'll know for sure by the end of the gameweek.

I don't have a solid pick for this week but part of me thinks Titans have a real chance of pulling off another upset, so I'm putting low-confidence wager on them covering.

Well, I looked back at my actions and words in the forum and thought I really am a duche bag,

Yes, but to tell you the truth, yesterday I deleted 3 of my posts from 2015 that were really douchey and uncalled for, so let's just say I understand and I forgive you.

I tried to change that IRL by being a good person or at least tried to for over 5 years but It didn't work out.

Well, its not something that just happens, its continual work faced over a lifetime.

As far as everything else in your post is concerned, well that's a lot to lay on a forum, buddy. We all undergo the human experience. Its on us to make the most of it while still empathizing with the experience of others. That's about all I can think to say.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WAX - Worldwide Asset eXchange by OPSkins on: October 23, 2021, 07:49:50 PM
WAX held fast as BTC and ETH took a tumble a couple days ago, which is great. I think its because of news that Power Rangers in releasing a series of NFTs over there, believe it or not...

WAX has also been something of a stablecoin, tending to have big jumps and then slowly level off to a settling point.

I think for it to go up from its current 30 cents to a dollar would give it a more deserved place in market cap rankings. There's a lot of interesting stuff happening over there and a lot of actual users, which most coins above it tend to lack.

Beyond a dollar may be touch-and-go; let's get there first and then take a look around.

[ANN] Dogeparty Reboot, Counterparty for the Dogecoin blockchain! (official)

https://dogeparty.net/dogeparty-platform-announcement

Today we are proud to announce the rebooting of the Dogeparty platform! Dogeparty is a smart contract built on top of the Dogecoin (DOGE) network for minting tokens and NFTs.  It was initially launched in August/September 2014.
...
Thank You
The Dogeparty Team

Somehow I missed this post the first time around but I wanted to say welcome to Bitcointalk J-Dog, I've had some time to try out the wallet and you've done a great job. One of the first projects I really followed here on the forum was Counterparty, then Dogeparty almost immediately after, and you've packed a lot cool features in a standalone wallet. I'm experimenting with sub-assets as we speak.

Kudos to your endeavor of resurrecting a dead platform, hope to see you around.

I'd be truly surprised if anything became of it. China is too vested in the U.S. to sink their interests, and the rest of the worlds'. That type of war isn't really being fought anymore, we've moved on to other ways, with combat performed by contractors in 3rd world proxys.
