2561  Economy / Gambling / What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 05, 2023, 06:59:20 PM
Apparently, the request by members for casino review is becoming demanding due to some experience they have had with some casinos coupled with the complaints of account banning, suspension and poor customer care service which is now beginning to eat deep into casinos with claims of account holders defaulting their policies which if properly investigated, the gambler is not guilty of the penalty and actions metted against them. Some cases here onboard this platform have been sorted out with some gamblers being innocent and funds by winning being released to them while some casinos and their representative are no where to be found.
Of lately, there have been some issues with casinos locking their thread preventing further discussion by members while directing members to their website customer care which is barely active in responding to members.

Nevertheless I was thinking if there could be a thread under the Economy board created separately for casinos review ( all casinos registered here) with star ratings whereby members could also take part in the ratings for casinos and their performance which would make them seat up doing things right. This would make all registered casinos and their various representatives onboard this platform to doing their work diligently in responding to customers and being active here.  However, if a casino fails to doing or resolving issues between a member and them and consecutively, such casino is being reported here and after much deliberation on the scam accusations board or reputation with no fruitful result, hence there is every possibility of blacklisting such casino by high rank DT1 and DT2 members after they have put efforts to resolving the issues but the casino fails to resolve.
With this, I think casinos would start being up and doing accordingly to avoid being blacklisted here because if they should get blacklisted, that means they are not upto standard for operating  here.
With this casino review and ratings board members both old and new would know better casinos to identify with and if any member chooses to identify with a casino after seeing their ratings and review to be very poor, that member would have no option than to face his or her problem by themselves when it dawn on them or if the case is otherwise.

This is an opinion which would welcome more contributions and possibly ways to develop this particular board if considered and deemed fit to hid to.

Thank you

I join competitions from time to time so I don't mind if another platform would offer it. I don't have specific features or unique reward program to suggest but just have a system to prevent multi-accounting. Nobody wants to compete against two or more accounts owned by the same person.

This is another point to make mate. It is not very funny though that you are playing with a bit related accounts owned by one person cheating and draining your hard earned resources. Even though you are ok with it, it is not alright. I wish a Chet detector not could be used for tracking multiple accounts holders on casino sites that would be fine. But looks cheaters these days are now wiser so your noticing them means you going extra miles to equip your casino with high grade wares to tackle that issue of cheating. These cheating accounts are the reasons casinos some times act funny by banning and suspending accounts with claims of defaulting their rules without considering the fact that they are denting their reputation just to safeguard funds for themselves in running their casino.
2563  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 05, 2023, 05:14:32 PM
Do not forget that casinos are more or less a business oriented organization. So therefore would want to make more profits to running the casino and also salary payment to her staff. Just like every individual, gamblers or bettors would want to make profit from gambling on casinos same it is applicable to casinos too. No one wants to loss. I some times feel the same way you too feel about casinos intentionally doing what they could to strap gamblers of their hard earned resources all in the name of gambling for fun. Although not all do it intentional but believe me you, they always want More gamblers to fail do they could make more profits to their coffers.  I think sometimes the issues of account ban and suspension must likely be that the casino might be running short of funds do would probably generate more funds from that act of theirs in banning and suspending accounts but they would not say it for us to know rather they would find fault and do the dirty job on people's account and funds.
2564  Economy / Gambling / Re: who to trust in gambling sites? on: March 05, 2023, 04:49:21 PM

There's always a risk if you want to play in small casino, shit can happen even though you've analyzed and think the site wouldn't scam you.
There is even a big risk if you choose to play in a small casino.
After all, small casinos are casinos that many gamblers are definitely not interested in.
The thing that is most feared by playing in a small casino is when gamblers get a large number of wins and they don't pay for the win because the amount of funds stored in the bankroll is insufficient so they choose to leave without paying anything.
This risk is rarely encountered, but as gamblers we must always be careful.
Small casinos usually put a maximum table limits, so if you go beyond the limits, then expect that you will never receive your winning funds. That’s the reason why high rollers never gamble at a small casino, but they prefer to play at big and reputable casinos so that if they got lucky and win, they can always withdraw their funds without delays. The problem with small casinos, aside from they limit your winning chances, there are also high chances that these casinos are not reliable since they have not build yet their good reputation from different gamblers.

Most times, small casinos  likely put ban on high winners when they see they can not meet up with releasing big win to winners. They tell you to do kyc which initially they stated no kyc onset from the beginning and upon registration after much verification on your documents and they see your are on the right track, they request for your source of wealth and when given to them, sometimes they argue it out and some times when they see there is not argument, they get the account blocked and suspended  tagging it a defaulter of their platform. All these are the tricks of small casinos and those casinos are not much popular and known. They are.not even here onboard this platform so I would advise as they are not trusted to be genuine, reliable and capable.
2565  Economy / Gambling / Re: We NEED Bitcointalk Members Feedback on Casino Challenges! on: March 05, 2023, 10:57:05 AM
as far as I can see and creating an account there all the platform features of this site are good enough and of course being easily accessible via a browser on a mobile phone is enough for me to see the quality of this casino site, the chat room is also different from other casinos it is not provided only for active gamblers even new registered users can chat there and that's cool, the games Limbo and Crash are also there. Incidentally, I like these two games. My suggestion is to add other cryptocurrencies like MATIC polygon and XLM because both have cheap transaction fees and also please add bonus promotions new user deposits or other promotions that make gamblers feel at home playing at this casino.  Wink

Incoorperating new crypto currency features as a means of payment is a good idea because most gamblers prefer some certain chain than the other and this sometimes comes in as challenges because they would need to bridge or passing through the process of converting through a third party exchange which they might not be comfortable with doing and causing more transfer fees or charges like wise gas's fee too but when there are other chain option available, potential gamblers would definitely not waste time in the long process but rather, do direct transfer from which ever chain or Wallet they are holding and this would save them time and stress involved. Lastly, I would talk about the customer care service because this is another vital department of every organization. The way they handle situations, respond to their customers determine whether or not the customer would still remain doing business with them. It takes no or little time for a careless customer care to destroy the hard earned reputation of an organization which has been built for a long time. With this, I would suggest you handle your customer care with utmost sense of belonging because that department is another engine room of organizations.
2566  Economy / Gambling / Re: who to trust in gambling sites? on: March 05, 2023, 10:40:09 AM
I mostly look into casino sites registered here because I believe they too would have some good reputation aside being registered here. This platform is a platform that accommodates all but genuine and sincere organizations which are reliable and trustworthy. Some few casinos as mentioned my members here are ok to deal with as they have been in existence for quite a long time now and running successfully without any complaints with a good customer care service which is the key focus to a lasting project and they are running signature campaign managed by high ranked members with large followership. Nevertheless, there are some few review sites where you can also ratings for casinos, it would also guide you too making your decision on casino to deal with.
2567  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: March 03, 2023, 12:06:27 PM
Let me update you one more time regarding my scam accusation thread which is now closed since 2 weeks.

They did finally pay me the confiscated 0.1BTC today. Two weeks ago in that thread I said I already got it, but that turned out to be a little premature. I had their absolute promise and therefore decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and report that I already got it, to speed things up a bit. But I still had to keep pushing and send messages and now today I finally got it and withdrew it successfully.
congrats that you finally got your winnings back.

So the conclusion is that Owl has a TERRIBLE support and you are lucky if they answer 10% of your messages, but if you chase them really hard you will get justice in the end. So I would definitely not recommend them but they are not a scam afterall.
seeing the scam accusation you posted and the comment holydarkness posted and the threads he shared, I completely agree. if their support continues to be that bad I won't be surprised if the gamblers playing on their site decreased because of their bad support.

He is very lucky he got back his funds from them due to his persistent communication with owl games. Their customer service is very poor and that is one of the selling point of every organization be it casino,   centralised exchange etc. You see, it is one thing to build and another to destroy and mind you, it does not take much efforts to destroy and that is the part owl game is towing which is not good for their business. They started by locking their thread here without any tangible reasons for which they had reasonable number of participants from this platform and another mistake they are making is not responding to their customers via their customers Service which is the only option they have left open for members. I would not be surprised when owl casino will start loosing value as a result of customers neglecting the casino. They should better seat up and live up to their expectations if they want to still be relevant in the game.
2568  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell a Casino Script | 27 Unique Games | 100 Slot Games on: March 03, 2023, 11:54:24 AM
I hope this is not another seller who re-coded another script from one popular marketplace just like the one who sells a script here, he should have a way to prove ownership of the script and if possible a testimonial from another buyer with a working casino from a script OP is selling, its better if the seller has his own site to house all the scripts he is selling, this is the easiest way to gain a reputation as a seller.
Of course, I also will recommend an escrow its important to protect buyers from newbie sellers.

Let's hope for this and wait for some kind of update from the OP here, although he gave his contact in telegram and all contacts on the deal are apparently supposed to be there.

I think OP should provide proof of ownership that he owns the script and also provide his portfolio and previous works. He should also call for his past clients to vouch for him or her here so that any potential buyer would know and have that confidence in what they are buying as these days it is just a copy cat and prototype of what others have down some people would rewrite and put up for sale for an inexperienced buyer to buy and start suffering from hacks. I am not too comfortable with the telegram conversation op opted for, I would prefer every conversation about this deal be here for transparency and credibility so other members could also contribute to the conversation for any potential buyer. The conversation started here and should end here and lastly like I have said earlier before now, there should be an escrow for this deal so that both parties involved will haveo differences as to reaching and honouring agreement.
2569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robbery that attacks Bitcoin Holders on: March 02, 2023, 08:47:52 PM
The rate at which crime increases in the society is very alarming. Seeing some one on security outfit does not guarantee that you are safe with the person not to talk of you being protected by the person. Security is every one's business so it is advisable you watch after yourself, family and assets properly. I take my safety and security very important I don not disclose sensitive material or information to people any how. I try my possible best to remain anonymous no matter the condition in which I am in.
2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is lost in a wallet can it ever be recovered on: March 02, 2023, 08:35:02 PM
The reason for this question is that I just wanted to know if after losing one's bitcoin, will it be accredited to the number of Bitcoin mine even if the wallet can never be recovered
If Yes then can't the wallet be trace back Afterall it is possible to see the number of Bitcoin own by an unknown individual through bitcoin Blockchain and with the years of dormancy of the address its possible to know if the wallet address might be lost and if the address as been long (like 2010, 2011 or 2012) such address could easily be hacked because it likely an Hot wallet and security was not that strait

The issue of accreditation is not an issue, there are 21million bitcoin mined already these are the numbers that will ever exist and nothing more nothing less  Nevertheless, all bitcoin can be traced or tracked via bitcoin explorer which is built on the bitcoin blockchain. This explorer enables individual to have a clue of transaction destination which stands or serves as evidence of payment or issuance however the case maybe. However dormant wallet addresses are mostly accounts holding for long. Some of those wallet you see that has big volume of bitcoin in them and have not done any traceable transaction can likely be seen as a hodler account in which the owner have been holding for a long time. Off lately there have been series of accounts hodling bitcoin for long that have been activated with bitcoin transferred. You should not be worried about that as it does not affect the total supply of bitcoin.

2572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trusts on: March 02, 2023, 01:49:07 PM

The better way is to teach your children when they become bigger how to use or unlock it on their own so they knew how to get your money when you died or accidentally gone. Or yet tell someone you trusted like close family member to keep that also and give it to your kids if ever something happened on you.

I've used your method for my kids, and it's the best I've found to be reliable, even if we had some legacy services, I wouldn't be able to trust a third party. I can't trust banks or lawyers, I would rather trust my wife and relatives. Currently, my kids are too young to teach him bitcoin, but I have shared all the private keys with my wife and brother, they are the most trusted people with me.
A nice move mate, trust no one but your family and it a must and should be a priority to you. I heard you mentioning lawyers, I do not take such sensitive situations as regards my financial standing with respect to my Crypto assets to Lawyers as they have  ways to get at you. I am always very alert of one requesting for my financial details when you are not in any way related to me or my heir. I find that too sensitive to disclose to anyone not to talk of revealing my passphrase or private keys to anyone.
2573  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell a Casino Script | 27 Unique Games | 100 Slot Games on: March 02, 2023, 01:20:46 PM
OP, the site is not accessible from my own end here but however, putting up such for sale will need you to put your portfolio of your present and past work for view as well because buyers interested would want to see your past work as well for credibility and accuracy so they would be sure of what and who they are dealing with. I see some one here has already advised you to seek the expertise or involvement of an escrow for your own safety so as not to be a victim of scammers. Scammers are now rampant here looking for who to prey on and run away with their work or fund.
2574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Mainstream payment method on: March 02, 2023, 12:58:31 PM
With respect your topic, I really think there are lots of work to be done as regards bitcoin awareness and adoption. People can only adopt something when they are fully aware of it although some might be skeptical about it but at the end they would see reasons why they need to adopt it. This is still applicable to bitcoin. What I basically know and see is that government policies strongly affect the bitcoin adoption in various nation's. Some people are yet to understand how bitcoin works not to talk of accepting it as a means of payment for services. We should know that bitcoin is volatile hence many people finds it difficult to accepting it because of the uncertainty and expectations of price fluctuations.
2575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trusts on: March 02, 2023, 12:22:57 PM
I think we cant say passing yo your inheritance secretly isnt legitimate since Bitcoin is decentralized and not property of government though converting it to fiat might require some taxes so its still a buzz fot being legit.

The better way is to teach your children when they become bigger how to use or unlock it on their own so they knew how to get your money when you died or accidentally gone. Or yet tell someone you trusted like close family member to keep that also and give it to your kids if ever something happened on you.

OPs idea is quite alright but I believe as time goes on there would be innovation of such kind. Back to heir to bitcoin, I believe every parents have that one child that is very close to them which they could trust to be able to handle situations in their absence or not. Atleast, telling that child the whereabouts of your digital assets example bitcoin could help alot because if something happens to you as the holder of the asset, your family can be able to assess it and maybe use it for better purpose in the running if expenses but it will be bad that you had such a digital asset and yet no one knows about it after the owner must have passed on and if the family might be in need or support for survival mean while their father had such amount in bitcoin stashed up some where without the knowledge of the family. It is very bad though. I would advise as a father, do well to tell that child of yours dear to you of the whereabouts of your assets so they could keep track of it based on your written instructions.
2576  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Abeg all this political Mata for different threads don do. on: March 02, 2023, 11:44:30 AM
I created this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5431489.0 4 us to discuss Nigerian Government and Politics but our Boss said it would not work in that way because the board needs to be expanded to pages.

If all those low quality posts been started where on that thread, it would had still been a spam thread because they're all spam and if the thread was reported to be locked for spamming, it'll be locked or discourage users from engaging on the thread. The topic causing a nuisance is election matter and not politics entirely because there are so many quality politics related threads that have been started by different high ranked members dat doesn't fit to be in one thread.
Before your thread I raised the attention since with this; Should Sub-Threads be created or we should freestyle the whole thing? Election matters could have been easily handled by putting everything in one thread but not politics entirely. Politics is a broader discussion and that's why it has its own board on the forum. In future we'll get a politic sub board. The issue here is low quality posts and repeated topics which I'm surprised same members complaining are still responding to those topics.
If a repeated topic is created and we join hands to report it, it'll be locked or send the OP DM to locked since they're similar. Putting all election matters into one thread is OK but putting all politic matters into one thread isn't, it'll obstruct the flow of conversation and many of you won't even visit that thread just as we were complaining with the hangout thread..

I think there is something we are not getting. I have taken my time to read although the topics here and do you know that most of the topics are similar which all of them can be on one thread but I just think that most people here do not want to comment on any other peoples topic rather, they create their thread so that others would comment on theirs there by making room for duplicate topics which is irrelevant at this point and if you notice most posts here on our local board are just scanty with no
or little responses or comments on them.
If we had a pinned and locked thread or topic as the number topic at the first page on our board stating some guidelines and principle governing this board I think most of these things we are discussing over would be minimal and also new bies should be given orientation too because most of them have no clues in how things work here so they operate without being updated
2577  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerians Aren't Turning to the eNaira Despite Crippling Cash Shortages, WHY? on: March 02, 2023, 11:18:47 AM
Quote
Nigeria is struggling with severe cash shortages, with riots erupting across the country just days before a presidential election – but people are still not turning to the national digital currency, the eNaira, which promised to improve retail payments.
The digital iteration of the naira, which was issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in October 2021, hasn’t had the most impressive start and adoption has been slow. But even if people in Nigeria wanted to turn to the eNaira, transaction options with the central bank digital currency, or CBDC, are limited.
Read more: https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/02/24/why-nigerians-arent-turning-to-the-enaira-despite-crippling-cash-shortages/?outputType=amp

Just so una know, this wan no be another shortage of cash thread before una begin spam here. This thread came about as a result of why the Enaira aren't been used in the country even though the government been provide this solution wey before dem bring about the cashless policy matter. Why you think say this Enaira no dey get force for the country and it's already a failed project before e even stand. Wetin you think say the government fit do so their Enaira solution go help fit help us in this cashless economy as I believe if this Enaira been dey very active like people download and they use the wallet then we fit dey do transactions easily without even been worried about the banks and their problem or wetin una think?
The glamour for the yet matured and unripe enaira could not stand as a result of many factors. This should have come in play now as the cashless policy is in full force but is the CBN and other agencies talking about it? I long was expecting them to say something in that direction to awaken the interest and thoughts of Nigerians towards that direction so as to make transaction very easy for the masses but they failed to bringing it to light as that would have been a possible solution to the cashless policy saga in the country even though the country is not yet ready but forcing herself to upgrade to that level.
Another thing I would say is that not all Nigerians are digitally inclined not to talk of operating android phone, some are far advanced in age that it would be very difficult for them to adapt to the innovation, most of the local traders prefer the cash at hand and to be frank with you uptill now, market women still take cash and they prefer that than all these talks of cashless transaction and enaira. I was discussing with a woman about the cashless policy but she was adamant about it saying she prefers her money cash and not used to bank app transfer and the others. So tell me how do you expect them to cope with the situation.
Come to talk of it, the enaira app is been taken down by Google as it was reported massively by Nigerians to be deleted as it is a scam and Google had no option than doing the needful.
What baffles me most is that the budget spent for that enaira project was very huge and at the entire end the project could not stand neither could it function for just a month.
2578  Economy / Services / Re: I will provide upto 200,000 members to your telegram channel. Cheap! on: March 02, 2023, 10:19:17 AM
I'll provide up to 200,000 telegram members to your telegram channel without getting flagged.
Real members
Price ~ $20 each 50k
My Telegram ~ Nikobitcoins1
WhatsApp.     ~ +12568010703.
Is this not more of a bot invasion? Are you a celebrity to gather such large number of followership? Come to talk of it looking at the price fixed one would think this is account holder seems not serious. You claim to be able to provide such number of members to a telegram community, how possible is that? Show proof that you have done that before. If you can drop a WhatsApp number here for chat then you can as well drop your social media handle with which you depend on to get that huge number of people to being a member of telegram community.
I will advise anyone dealing should deal with caution and also seek the service of an escrow so as to prevent issues while dealing.
2579  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 01, 2023, 08:45:31 PM
I could recall coinplay currently have a signature campaign running and it has been on for a while now coming to see this is not what I believe should be happening. Sorry for your experience op but I think I should ask you this question were you using vpn to login? Because they can not just get your account banned like that without any fault from you as I can say that coinplay have built a reputation here onboard this platform. I would advise you chat their representative here or via their announcement thread by commenting this thread Link there so they can give your issue the urgent attention it requires because from what I see based on your email conversation with their customer care, it seems they a not likely to attend to you again but you can still try this option here as a member of this platform I think you should be given consideration.
2580  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Volare Project Going to cheat on: March 01, 2023, 02:02:09 PM
Volare project which many bounties compaign run by Julerz now going to Scam bounty participants wisely. They given user worthless token $mvolr in whisper and after they got some community and promotion they list Volr token in bsc network.

now when community ask for  listing of mvolr then They came up with a new method of cheating. they will lock token for 6 month and no body will be able to make profit from this tokens. more than one year of hunters has been wasted in this shit project and Julerz is one of the worst bounty manager . his 9 out of ten project proved scam. he enjoyed fee in stable coin and hunter waiting for payment more than 9 months. please take action on this.
Hey mate, I believe before you take up any job offer here you already agreed to their terms and conditions of operation as they have the sole mandate to take decision at an given point in time. If you were not ok with the terms and conditions stated out for the bounty then why participating in the project bounty? And from what you have said you were paid for the work you did as a bounty hunter. Do you not know that the team has every right to make sure that they project their project in a good way every aspect? They have the final decision and they Make any decisions that suits the growth of their project token because that alone attracts investors when they have a good project at hand to showcase to the world at large. You are busy calling bounty manager names do you expect him to do research for you before joining his campaign? He did state his conditions of engagement before you took part in the bounty. You should not be angry at the bounty manager because he is not part of the team he is just a bounty manager hired to manage the bounty for the project.
