2561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 09, 2023, 10:12:08 PM
Well first of all sorry for your losses but this experience is kinda normal with many folks here in the forum during their early years of knowing bitcoin. A mistake is unavoidable in the life of a human and its also part of the learning cycle because the best lessons is always learnt when we make mistakes but all together i just hope you have learnt from your mistakes.

But you can still atleast try to gather enough btc again seeing that market now is low, you can buy at a low price now and hodl it till btc goes up again. Like you said no one knows when the price is going to pump up again so stop regretting and just keep hoarding enough  btc you can get your hands on to because the time is coming when people that Missed this golden opportunity will also lament and say this word of regret "how wish i knew it will rise again ". So buckle up and start buying bro the future is bright.
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 09, 2023, 04:17:33 PM
For me,
I will rate my 2022 gambling luck 5% out of 100, I didn't gamble much, but for the little I gambled, I didn't win much either, Infact, I think I lost more money than I won from gambling in 2022.
Funny enough, i think we are on the Same stats but mine is a little better i would say because i did had some minor winnings in my overall stakes last year but i won't compare it at all to all my losses i experienced last year so i guess i would grade my luck under 8%.
I endured most of my lost during the world cup competition in Qatar, the world cup was just full of shocking results and maybe i was unlucky too because almost all the coupon i played was lost and i decided to slow down a bit.

But this year plan for gambling, i think am just going to go for playing of 2.00 odds trying just to get double of my stakes maybe that move would be better and am still hoping on luck to be by my side if not even the 2.00 odds i want to play would result to lost.
2563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 09, 2023, 01:23:41 PM
I have 2 motorbikes at home, but what I always use is only 1 motorbike, and 1 motorbike is rarely used, and indeed the motorbike is also old, and if it is sold it won't be too expensive, and I decided to sell the motorbike, because in my opinion the price of the motorbike will definitely fall over time,
(affected by inflation). and the money from the sale of the motorbike I will use to buy bitcoin. because in my opinion the price of bitcoin in the future will definitely rise. and also currently the market is bear, so this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins. and I want to ask everyone, the decision I made, namely selling the motorbike and the money to buy bitcoin, is it wrong or not?

I'm ready to be corrected because I have no experience in bitcoin and crypto.

Op, i think you have did the right thing because your statement tells that you are not using the motorbike you sold which is very good move you took. I would always encourage everyone in this particular season of the bitcoin market to purchase as much bitcoin as they can get there hands on. If you have kept the motorbike that you are not using, it would have resulted to the loss of value in the motorbike and the money that you would get from that motorbike over time will decrease excessive, so i think selling it and using the money for a  btc investment is a good choice you have made.

One thing i would advise you to do in this your bitcoin journey, is that you should learn and encourage yourself to hodl your this coins of yours so that when the market is good you will have a big profit.

2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: January 08, 2023, 09:29:49 PM
It's going to be an exciting match between the city and Chelsea FC. Yesterday reports have it that Benoit Badiashile and David Datro Fofana has officially resumed training with the blue squad at Cobham, and may probably join the team in clash against Manchester city in the English FA cup competition today. These two addition will make Chelsea squad a bit more rounded than it was, and as such Chelsea may completely return to its winning ways at the arrival of all the injury players. Now that the club has an additional central attacker, let's see what their subsequent matches will yield.
Really exciting Match today  Grin Cheesy. Chelsea are currently in deep shit because the more they try to come out of this bad form the harder it gets. Manchester City really out did this Chelsea team, a 4 nil Victory for Manchester City even with the likes of hallaand and some keys players absence Manchester City still managed to wound Chelsea really bad.

Since the leaving of former Chelsea coach thomas tushell the team  has lost all tenacity to play and win games. I think the team really has to do something really quick and this current coach is not blending at all so i think what this Chelsea team needs now is just a new coach with an experience of managing top team. If Chelsea continues with this current form i think they are going to finish the season in lower half of the premier league table.  Grin

Manchester City just love winning Chelsea or what?
~They out of the fa cup
~out of position in the table. This team just needs a really big change.

Gratitude
I finally ranked up as a full member and am really greatful for my new rank and it all was possible due to many reasons like the seriousness to learn and grow which i had in me. First i created my account last year with the hopes of learning about bitcoin from the forum but then due to some challenges which lead to me loosing my phone , i was inactive for some time and I was unable to log in my account for a long time and even after i got a new phone, remembering my password was now the challenge so after everything I got back online and in the space of a very short time i have gain so much from the forum.

I have even bought some bitcoin of my own through the help of some lessons i gathered in the forum and planning to hodl it till we experience another ath. So achieving all this was very good and am very happy and using this medium to show thanks to all those who helped me reach this level in the forum @the sceptical chemist formally known as the pharmacist @the cyrptovator @ dr. Bitcoin strange and so many others.

Thanks for helping me rank up and am still pushing hard by trying my best in creating quality posts and learning from the forum.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 08, 2023, 09:52:07 AM
For me i believe gambling has everything to do with luck and am speaking from experience,  because even with all the greatest strategies one can apply for gambling,  it will still bore down to one major factor which is luck.  As for superstitious believes, i have come across so many in my area that actually believe luck as a whole can be drawn or channel when gambling through the use of vudo magics and incantations . Well i guess you can't actually stop anyone from believing what he or she wants to believe especially when they say its works for them.

2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 07, 2023, 08:16:35 PM
My dream of having a wallet and hodling bitcoin BTC in the wallet has just started. My Mentor told me that I should top up the wallet whenever I have funds, so today, I used the money people gave me on the Christmas day and this morning being the new day to buy bitcoin to hodle. Because if I kept that money in my hand I would still spend it for food or clothes. Instead I decided to start the investment. I bought it from Binance which the popular exchange platform for p2p in my country.
Quote
[Binance] P2P Order (last 4 digit: 9520) has been completed. The seller has released 0.00031254 BTC to your P2P wallet.

I really like the forum for the  love showing to me and for the straight and nice answers. Love you GUYS.

HAPPY NEW YEAR HODLING

Congratulations op on your purchase,  i remember when I bought my first bitcoin it was really an interesting moment because i felt i have started the first step of a great journey to acquiring lots of btc in the future.
(Op)the fact that the you understood that the money you used in purchasing the bitcoin can be spent for other things  that are not worth spending is really good. The investment choice you made for the future is far better. But just be certain that you hodl up the coins until bitcoin reaches a promising price to sell or even hodl up till it experiences another ATH.
2571  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The deplorable condition of the Nigerian roads: How bad ur side dey, solution? on: January 07, 2023, 07:55:59 PM
Ahhhh
This na exactly the same topic I been wan talk after I nearly die yesterday for traffic caused by very bad and dangerous road and it's really bad and disheartening seeing a federal road in a very bad state and condition and one major question I dey always ask na if government no get allocations for this stuffs as in good road ?
I think say na the right time to create some committees wey go dey in charge of inspecting this road and this committees should possibly be foreigner that wouldn't take bribe and make we see howfar we go reach because e dey pain me whenever I dey fall out come jam bad road

Nigerian road and their wahala, the thing wey dey surprise me for this country be say,  if dem dey talk about resources to use maintain our roads and other things to make our road dem better, i know think say Nigeria dey lack any of these materials but still yet our roads are very bad and rough.
Today wey i been dey come from ahoada to bayelsa,  i really see something for the journey. Bro just as you talk this bad road fit kill person because the shape of the federal road for that area is really messed up, the kind dust wey i inhale plus gallops for that roads i almost pass out.
Nigeria don reach to do something about this bad roads and how take sure say people wey dey inspect road no day but na all this corruption for the country no go allow them do their work well.
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Gambling Slang and Terms that Beginners Should be Aware of on: January 07, 2023, 07:38:16 PM
This is great work and research bro. Nice one, i won't say am familiar with all the slangs there but i think its just few am not use to since am a damn addict of a gambler  Cool  Cool. But this particular slang beard really got my interest because i have not come across or heard it before. So with this thread today,  i have learnt that such slang exist in the gambling world.

I Dont know but i think some few slangs are not listed there and anyone who knows one or two should feel free to drop so the lecture and discussion will keep getting interesting. I think this one should be added.

2573  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / suspention of all naira atm card connected with international transaction on: January 07, 2023, 06:43:24 PM
Nigerians banks are all queuing in to stoping all transactions that has to deal with their naira cards and international transaction and just recently zenith bank has also joined this trend as i receive a mail that stated that from January 9 (Monday) all transactions that has to deal with the use of the zenith naira card in international transaction has been banned.

This recent restructuring and restrictions in banks affair in the country will really have some effects for some users that purchase and order things online with their card from online international store like
~ali express
~amazon
~wish and so many more.

It was just last year that banks limited the spending of naira debit cards in international transaction to 20$ and now this time they have suspended the whole process here so lets look into the reasons for all this restriction and how e go affect we Nigerians
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 07, 2023, 05:00:35 PM
Gambling is also a therapy which can cure anxiety and also financial bankruptcy. Like when you win a bet or throwing dice games, because of the win your mind will have peace. Gambling is not always bad but the time of losses are more than the times of wins. And that is why people don't like gambling because for them the money that will be used to gamble should be use to do a tangible things in the family not to throw away.
Well the same way gambling can act as a therapy which cures anxiety like you said, thats the same way gambling can cause someone to be very anxious. I could remember my last big win in my betting account, it was like hell for me. That win got me anxious and full of anxiety all through the night because i had to follow up with the last match in my  betslip and it was not until the 90th minutes of play before the team i predicted to win the game scored. Even after I won that money the anxiety in me couldn't allowed to sleep because of the joy me.

2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: January 06, 2023, 05:41:31 PM
just buy and leave your coin and be calm but be expecting good return.
[/qoute]
Its not as easy as you say it especially when its your first time buying crypto many people just dont know how to remain calm because of the volatility and the constant fluctuation of bitcoin price,  some just prefer buying when the price is down and selling it off when they have gotten minor profit added to the capital used in buying.

The price of bitcoin will get to $40000 again, but the price has gone lower which makes it a very good time to buy more. But if you have never bought before, it is a good time to buy. You may not buy at once, as the price is reducing, you can continue to buy until the bull market starts again and you will make profit.
Yeah this is actually a very good plan but only if the buyer can have the patience to wait and hodl up his coins until btc reaches another ATH which nobody knows when, but from speculation and researches made we only have the certainty that eventually another bull run is going to come so the reasonable action to be taken is just to buy and endure and hodl up your coins because time is coming when you going to be smiling. I myself have started purchasing but have only gotten few amount of bitcoin and am hoping to buy more in this bear season of btc.
2577  Other / Off-topic / Re: benefits of defeat on: January 06, 2023, 06:32:41 AM

Well, my own personal opinion I will say defeat is a disaster that has no benefits, I remembered when I run into a bad business, that will lost 1.8m this taught me a lesson that I will never forget in my entire life, because I was asked to pay back the money that was lost
I think you have benefited in that defeat experienced but don't just recognized it,  because a lesson learnt by failure is best type of lesson so far and you said in reply and i quote "this taught me a lesson". You were ask to pay back the money with was something that's very bitter to you so i think the benefits of this defeat is know how to go about it next time so that wont fall into such disaster anytime in the future.

2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: January 05, 2023, 02:33:42 PM
I think this type of rule has already been implemented in many gambling-friendly countries. It's not just to make the transactions quick and easy but also for their government to have all of those records accessible for their data and safekeeping.
There are pros and cons to this type of ruling for a local government and those that don't like it don't want to handle it too easily to the government that they've got a gambling record. Still, plenty of options for them, thanks to crypto gambling as there are still casinos that don't ask for kyc immediately.
In my place i think funding your gambling with your bank accounts and card is widely allowed throughout the country,  although when its comes to withdrawal of funds and some other things kyc is always needed and me myself i have been using this as a means funding my gambling account online. So i dont think cashless gambling its a bad idea at all, after all these gambling sites are making huge profits from citizens gambling in their platforms so i don't see any wrong intentions for the government wanting to tax them and keep track and records of some vital data.

This makes it very easy for one to gamble anywhere, anytime because you can just easily pick up your and fund your bet with your bank account even if it's 2.am in morning but its has some kinda of disadvantages because i have lost alot of money because of the easy access i have to gambling in my account on virtuals games.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: January 05, 2023, 02:03:39 PM
Wow, I'm very happy to see the topic of the Saudi Professional League (SPL) on this board, as we know that after Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr, this league is getting more attention from the public. Hopefully with this topic, we can get to know the Saudi Professional League deeper and better.

Here I also want to provide a list of players who used to be top in Europe and are now playing in this league, here is the list:

1. Al-Nassr
David Ospina (GK) - Anderson Talisca (MF) - Cristiano Ronaldo (FW) - Vincent Aboubakar (FW)

2. Al-Shabab
Grzegorz Krychowiak (MF) - Ever Banega (MF) - Santi Mina (CF)

3. Al-Ittihad
Helder Costa (MF)

4. Al-Hilal
Odion Ighalo (CF) - Luciano Vietto (CF)

5. Abha
Felipe Caicedo (CF)

This is great because i do normally add some matches in Saudi league when selecting and forecasting on odds i would like to play. And most times i just collect some matches from that league maybe because of the current form of the propose team i would like to add to my betslip.

I never really took interest in suadi league but now that a wonderful thread like this has been created,  it will now serve serve as medium for me to really know the strongs team that are in the league and even couple to the fact Ronaldo is also playing in the league now.

His presence in the league will bring viewers and also sport bettors to more acknowledgement of the league so talks about the league will be everywhere and also this thread will serve same purpose, so its a nice idea from the OP.
