~ First, in your opinion, what would be a reasonable amount to give his girlfriend? ~

Stealing money from your girlfriend, even though it's only 10,000 naira($23 USD), is no doubt a bad act. It's not a surprise that "the lady felt cheated" when he offered her only 5,000,000 naira after winning 100M. But let's forget about the guy because being such a cheater and also a greedy person, he's not worth our attention. The girl should be happy with taking $11.5k from him, and leave him as soon as possible.

What would be a reasonable amount to give his girlfriend? All the money he won. Only in that case he would rehabilitate himself in her eyes, imo.

There is no point on trying to compare ourselves with other people because there is always going to be someone that can use way more money than what we can use, what we must care about is how much money we can dedicate to our gambling hobby and never going above that amount, if you can do that then you are fine, besides you have no way to know what it is behind the people which are making those huge bets as unlike you they may be addicted to gambling and they could be the ones jealous of you by being able to get fun while using so little money.
What we have to do is understand that gambling is not a good way to make money because there are losses that will await us as long as we play. You'll be fine if you can control yourself when you gamble and don't overspend, especially when you lose. But the truth is, more people spend more money trying to recover from their losses. This will slowly make them addicted to gambling, and over time, they will become addicted to gambling. If they have experienced this problem, they will not be able to leave gambling easily.

Often it is our wins, not losses, is what makes us addicted to gambling. You can win a lot by chance, but start thinking that you know how to win, you just need a larger bankroll. Those are very dangerous thoughts, and we must keep them off of our minds if want to enjoy gambling instead of being ruined by it.
2563  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: October 27, 2022, 08:30:30 AM
~
Yes, there are already many people who are into this, but a greater number of people are not used to this and so are not doing. Instead, they keep on buying and storing a lot of foods and when they get spoiled, they just throw them away which means a total waste of money and food when in fact most poor people have not even eating three times a day. So maybe the good thing to do is to educate people on how to plant and grow their own food backyard, as that would mean saving their money from buying and can also give extra foods to those neighbors who are less fortunate.

Yes, that's what we should do in times like these. I understand people who are introverts and they prefer to not communicate with others. I was like that myself at some point of my life. But today there's no place for that stuff in our lives. We should help those who in need, and we should without embarrassment ask for help if we need it.

My weekend started really bad with the unexpected defeat of Liverpool. But later on, my bad weekend has left its place to a beautiful one thanks to the matches after it. After that I had a really unexpected game experience while I was spending my time with slot games. Maybe I won a great amount. But frankly I'm still not satisfied due to missing the chance of winning even much more as you also can see.

https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/jzt8AUTKp9

I just watched the replay. It's amazing! These guys popping up all the time.

Was it your personal record?  I mean, 3,372x of your bet, it should be your personal record, right?

And also a decent win, USD-wise: $463. Congrats, mate! Be satisfied. Really. Smiley

And thanks for sharing! Great video. Made my day.

2569  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: October 26, 2022, 02:51:43 PM
Honestly i want to see any games that could not manipulated with computer algortihm. Maybe football penalty games will looks interestes for me and other gamblers. Its easy to played ,and no statistic data could taken. Only kick to left or right based on our decision. So far i still didnt found it yet.

What do yo mean? Please explain. If you think that based on your statistics you can hit a losing streak, then you're mistaken. In reputable online casinos there's no such thing. You can another big win right after a previous one. Each spin is completely independent of your bet history.

Back to the topic. I would like to see games that were not only entertaining but also educating ones. For example, a slot game with which you can get acquainted with the oldest artefacts. Something like this.
2570  Economy / Gambling / Re: Endorphina the best Slot Provider for Online Casinos on: October 26, 2022, 01:34:41 PM
@Kakmakr's questions are great and I would like read the answers to them too. I just want add one question(so far) from myself.

There's an established myth among gamblers that really good wins are reserved for those wagering the maximum amount, and that you will never hit the Jackpot wagering as little as possible per spin. Can you disprove or prove it?
2571  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: October 26, 2022, 12:33:06 PM
It's about compulsive gambling, but probably in older times almost all gamblers were gambling addicts. That's because people weren't cultured much in the past, and hence they were greedy and envious beyond measure. They could put at stake their children and wife , they could easily kill out of rage. Only a few people are like that these days. Because of the education today we have higher level of morale than people used to have in the past. And that's why we can be responsible gamblers.

There are many historical references to compulsive habits along the story, some of them affecting kings and emperors. I guess it is in human nature to look for things that thrill and cause good instant gratification. But it is not less true that it is human nature to look for a better version of ourselves, so if anyone fall for compulsions it may be corrected with some help.

Yes, but it's in the nature of pigs too. So, it's not in our human nature, but rather in our animal nature to look for instant gratification. There's nothing wrong with that. Humans are animals, after all, and thus we can't stop being animals completely. We need those instant gratifications for our physical survival. But if we want them constantly and permanently, like gambling and drug addicts, we are more like pigs than humans.

How did you achieve such an experience? I can't believe that you have such a good level in slots, I'm honest, it's the worst for me in slots, it seems impressive to me that every time I play, I lose everything,

It depends on how many spins you do per your slots session. If it's around a hundred spins, it's practically impossible for all of them to be not winning at least something.

I don't think that's something normal, it is that yes I bet with little money too,

Yes, losing everything all the time is definitely not normal. Betting with little money is a good way to prolong your session without losing all your balance, and you also can hit something great along the way. My personal record so far is 934x of my bet

But I'm sure you can beat it. After all, it all depends on luck, and wish you good luck, my friend! Smiley

But remember, you should not risk more money than you can afford to lose. Apart from a chance of winning big, there's always a chance of losing all your balance, so, keep that in mind.
2573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: October 26, 2022, 10:25:35 AM
~
1300: 20000 was 15x of previous ATH
20000 to 69k was 3.5x of previous ATH

So, yes, "only 2x" does seem to be keeping in the pattern of reducing multiples of ATH. I'd love for it to increase to break this pattern but I'd also love to win the lottery.

That's right. Let's be realistic. Let's not expect $1,000,000 for 1 BTC during the next ATH. It is very likely that the price will be even less than 2 times of the previous ATH, something around $120,000, which many people predict btw. And in several years after that, the next ATH will probably be only 1.5x, meaning that BTC will cost around $180k, the next ATH - 1.3x, and so on. I personally think that we are following this pattern.

Duelbits presents: $250,000 Halloween Hunt!

This new promo just dropped so make sure to check it out, you don't want to sit on the sidelines for this one! No matter if you have a smaller or larger bankroll, this promotion has something for everyone Smiley

It has, indeed. I'm not a high roller, so I'm waiting for tomorrow to try my luck in this one:

I like it that it's not about the highest win per spin, where I wouldn't stand a chance against those guys betting $200-$300 at once, but it's "adjusted for bet value", which means I can do my favourite $0.10 and $0.20 spins and still hope for winning something from this promo because of the high multiplier. Smiley

1) Lambo or bitcoin?
My coworkers are used to seeing me drive into work with a 10+ year old beat up truck. While it would be quite amusing to see the looks on their faces when I showed up, in a lambo, it just isn't practical. I'd have to pay for taxes, gas, insurance, and maintenance. Not worth it. I asked for the bitcoin without a second thought.

Great choice! Considering the current BTC rate, you are likely to double your win soon, or even triple it. Smiley

Win a lambo: I am up 10.27168610 bitcoin on this section  Cool

Again, nice job, mate! I myself had no doubt you were in profit from this one. Smiley

P.S. I'm sorry if I missed any questions! Please feel free to ask any more. I really enjoy interacting with members on this forum so I am happy to answer them (within reason).

I see, you are good with words, so please wright about some funny reactions on your telling someone, you won a Lambo.

OK, let's take a look at the last round in Sportsbet's BitcoinTalk Pool on Superbru, shall we?  Smiley

No one, absolutely no one was even close to this shocking result in the Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool game:

And the next match, Everton v Crystal Palace, didn't bring much points to anyone of us either. It's only @kryptqnick who was close in his prediction

Good job, mate!

Man. City vs Brighton, on the other hand, was highly predictable. Almost all of us picked Man. City to win, with 7 people predicting the exact score:

Well done, guys!

Chelsea vs Man. United was "Somewhat unexpected", as Superbru put it. Most of us were wrong about the result, but 13 ppl nevertheless made the perfect pick. Nice job!

Although I warned in my previous post, "The next round starts tomorrow. Don't forget to make your picks, guys!", I myself missed it somehow, and def picks didn't bring much points to me:

Congrats, @LFC_Bitcoin, on moving 10 positions up and getting the Yellow Cap!

Bravo! Smiley

2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 25, 2022, 09:01:44 AM
When a minor becomes addicted to gambling, it can sometimes lead to dangerous behavior. A minor boy fails to control himself. He may sometimes behave abnormally. Here it is the duty of a father to take care of his son at least till he reaches adulthood. A little delay here can sometimes lead to great danger. Which may never be recovered.

It can be the mother of the minor, or someone else he/she is living with, not necessarily their father. It can be their therapist, or an online influencer even. Minors should know that gambling is for adults only. And like all other adults-only things they can be harmful for minors in many ways.
2579  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: October 25, 2022, 08:34:35 AM
I'm sure it will help not just one, but many people in the future. It's only a matter of time when people realize how much useful info can be found on this forum. Yes, of course, not all the info here is valuable, there's a lot of spamming here, yes, but in any great library there are many sh*tty books too, right? You just have to find the right ones, ignoring all the garbage.

I totally agree with you, sometimes I have always looked for strategies for dice, for poker, roulette, and the one that exists is very opaque, I have even looked for physical books in several places to see if there is something that can help me find a good way to improve strategies, but it is very difficult, it turns out that for gambling the information is very limited, the best thing is to get through forums and more specific information that can give better ideas, I always check this thread, the subject does not seem bad to me, the bad thing is that OP has not answered the questions, but it has served to reassure many so that they do not fall for scams or the like.

This is very true. Although it may look like there are many articles on gambling, including poker, there are many physical books even, in fact, there is almost no reliable and at the same time useful information about how to play this game with success at the present time. We should rather seek the info on forums, and this forum in particular is a good place for that.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 24, 2022, 11:48:57 AM
If I win early I'll be tempted to keep playing but I usually try to stop after winning big.

OP is making this hard by asking about doubling my money because it can mean a few things. You can double the money you have deposited or double a single bet. If I had a bet of $10 and won, I'd keep playing, but if that bet was $10k, I'd stop for sure. Same with my money in the casino. If I had $20 there and kept playing with $1 bets until I get to 40, I'd probably still play, but if I got a jackpot and made it to $400 out of my $40, I'd stop playing.

I try to work on my greed.

Same here. I mean, I can't imagine betting $10k or even $1k at once, but if I hit a 200x+ multiplier on my bet, I stop in most of the cases. The only exception is when it's a higher multiplier contest, and I know that 200x wouldn't be enough to get a prize. In that case I will continue betting until I hit something bigger or lose enough to stop for the day.
