2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to convert your LTC into BCH - I see BCH may follow Bitcoin as of 2016 on: January 01, 2021, 07:53:51 AM
No, thank you.
I'll stay with LTC for now.
Never supported BCH anyway. LTC is more unique to me when I look at roots rather than BCH that is like being controlled by the back office.  Grin
Just intrigued at where did you get this idea.
Kind of blasted out of nowhere.
2562  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] YOLOdice.com Signature Campaign on: January 01, 2021, 06:14:52 AM
Thanks for the update Moglie.
Yes, I was also waiting for this.
Thankfully, Yolodice has given us a lot of time before changing it.

Happy New Year to all of you. Cheers, and hoping for another bountiful year for our supported Yolodice campaign.
2563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 01, 2021, 06:10:06 AM
It looks like Markelle Fultz really found the right team for him. He's been contributing well that lead the Magic's 4-0 run this season. He's come a long way since his "classic" free throw days at Philadelphia. Remember those days? Hehe.
I remember that.
He was trying to change his shooting style or maybe someone is trying to change it like trainers.
It was not cleared who made it that way but it resulted badly.
Now he is back. Stats may not look like for a number 1 draft pick but he is there.
He even did a double-double against OKC.

Another NBA player who has recently suffered an ankle injury was Ja Morant, it was not very serious, but he will be away for a few weeks
I hope both players recover soon!
Thank God.
I watched that in slow-mo and I felt how bad it is.
He should learn to look at where he will land next time.
2564  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: December 31, 2020, 09:04:20 AM
Who?  Cheesy
Psychological barrier huh? Well, that could also stop buyers from doing it.
I predicted last week that it won't go higher than $25k after 2020.
I was wrong. These guys analyzing Bitcoin price are also humans and they don't know how much the purchasing power is out there.
So I think we will just have to see but I doubt there will be no resistance at an expensive price.
2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 31, 2020, 06:40:58 AM
~
2/1 would do just fine for me, gl @stadus and @Harkorede and everyone else of course!  Wink
That's nice. I might follow some next time.

Who watched the Nets vs Hawks game?
It was like an offensive battle.  Grin
Durant, Irving, and Harris for the Nets while Trae, Collins, Bogdan, and Reddish answer for the Hawks.
I bet for over 239.5 but didn't expect it to go way beyond. Total is 286. Wow! Offensive monsters.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.US is going to suspend XRP trading and deposit on: December 31, 2020, 05:06:45 AM
I was expecting this to happen. It all follows the domino with other exchanges to halt all the trading that happens for XRP. That's already the sign that they will have a negative reason to keep XRP this time.
It's no longer that good to keep it although some exchanges would still keep it. The advice of most people that still have it is that sell it while you can.
Expected that to that's why I sold it already.
I don't intend to keep a coin that will just lose its value in the upcoming events of delisting.
I am sure other exchanges will follow making it priced to dust.

It's a shitty event but there's not much to do if investors are doing the same thing.
Being a martyr just to show support is not going to help either.  Cheesy

2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 31, 2020, 04:04:18 AM
I am not saying they are ten times better this way, I am just saying I do not see too much difference, hell I could even say they might be a bit better right now.
Just using last year's performance could make a better comparison.
Harrell might be the 6th man of the year but it stopped when they are against the Nuggets.
Marc is not that hardcore defensive player for me unlike what Howard did against Jokic last year.
He did put him down unable to create plays like pick and roll with Murray.
I may be a Nuggets fan but I really love how Howard did things to win a championship. He didn't hurt anybody but the way he bullied Jokic under the rim is not an easy task.
We might just have different opinions on this. Let's see if Harrell and Marc can prove something as the season matures.
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 30, 2020, 07:11:54 PM
Sold out? You mean, you left nothing?  Huh
Well, we respect every decision of every member here and I think you have done yours without regrets or any doubt.
That's good for you.

I sold a part of my investment but not all. You wouldn't know what will come up next.
$6k though is a far number from this one and this might not become the event where history will repeat itself.
Anyway, enjoy your money.  Wink
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to adjust and work with the bet365 live streaming on: December 30, 2020, 03:26:07 PM
I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce a rule in the future that the stream can only be watched after player made a bet.
I am sure this will happen sooner or later. It's already in affect for horse and greyhound racing. They will probably look to introduce it gradually, so as not to piss of the community too much.
Oh, they'll make loads of money when that starts with other sports.
Not everyone who signs up there was freeloaders in the first place.
So I guess it will still work without worrying about losing customers. It's just like filtering who is really meant to be there.

As for me, I will still accept it. I don't really watch full-length games that I don't put a bet on except for intriguing ones. (i.e. fights in-game)  Grin
I'd rather watch the highlights on Youtube.
2570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think it will be over for Ripple this 2021? on: December 30, 2020, 02:21:32 PM
No, it's really over. If it will live then it might be dust.
So, I am selling mine. I'd just support another coin after that.
I bet most of the investors are doing the same or they already did.
Looking at how the value falls down, you could really tell a lot of holders are not in doubt anymore.
Just sell it and somehow recover from investing to another coin.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 30, 2020, 11:41:38 AM
Anyone watching the Suns vs. Pelicans and Clipper vs. Timberwolves? 83-51 and 94-68 respectively as I'm typing this. That's some serious hammering and it's just the third quarter. It looks like the Suns and Clippers bench [and maybe their opponents too] will have the 4th quarter for themselves. Good exposure at least hehe.
Watched it live too.
Yeah, that happened.
I almost won my betbuilder but I am lacking points made by Ingram.
That is because it had been an early garbage time. (or whatever they call it now)
The first two games of him were 28 points and now he just made 13. Bad night for the young players.
Even JJ Redick is having a difficult time finding his sweet spot. I guess the Suns just defended him well.

The Lakers seem to be missing some big man energy they were getting from JaVale McGee & Dwight Howard last year. I think it was a mistake to let them both get away. Particularly Dwight Howard given how cheap he was willing to sign for.
Agree.  Wink No more bullies below the rim.
2572  Economy / Economics / Re: The supply issue on: December 30, 2020, 09:43:12 AM
Yes because it's still limited supply no matter how much you subdivide the satoshi. In the end, there is a limitation on splitting each satoshi if this become possible due to the value of each satoshi. Splitting a cents is not valuable anymore tho.

A 21 Million supply is still 21 Million supply no matter how many times you split it.
I guess that's the simplest way on how it could be explained. Thank you.

To OP. It might just be wasting time dividing it into many units.
The total will not change.
I am guessing they are trying to make an imaginary Bitcoin out there where they could add more to the total by splitting it.
I don't really know if that's possible but I doubt it is.
All I know is there will be a huge number that will be missing.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bye bye Xripple Welcome Back Litecoin on: December 30, 2020, 07:44:46 AM
I bought XRP and not LTC. My bad for being forgetful to invest with both coins.
XRP had been good to me especially with transaction fees. It's just too low compared to others. Hell, even cheaper than Ethereum.
Well, I guess everything has an end, I just hope it won't be that bad.

Maybe it's also time to exchange those XRP for LTC.
Yeah, a hype might happen that would take LTC back in its place.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 30, 2020, 04:41:35 AM
OMG!
Just one more point.

This had been a long unlucky streak for me.
I analyzed every team that could score high but yet GSW fell short.
Almost there. Maybe tomorrow I will get my first win of the season.
Why does it hurt more when it just lacks 1 more point to win the whole parlay?  Cheesy
2575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: December 29, 2020, 05:49:29 PM
I strongly agree.
Take it like it's a bank investment but 5x faster.
30 years for them while 6 years here or maybe lower.
With that span of time, I bet you will be having a good amount. Don't follow the hype. Don't believe the stories written in their blogs for those could just be a marketing strategy for you to buy the coin while they sell thanks to you.
2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh BTC crossed 25k on: December 29, 2020, 01:49:43 PM
And it's interesting what will happen after the end of the year.  Grin
Before there is always panic.
What will it be now?

Those questions are what makes BTC more popular and not its feature anymore.
But as an asset that moves a lot. I guess we will just find out someday if what we bought will really have some usage.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 29, 2020, 12:02:39 PM
The Mavs vs Clippers today sets a new record in the NBA. A 50 point deficit in the halftime. Rare to see such lead. It's like a rookie mode in NBA 2k.
I don't know If I can still trust this team's odds or nah.
LOL.  Grin
They should at least put it to All-Star mode. That way we might be a little entertained.
The hell is that.
How could it not be a big of a deal.
It's one way to prove they are not a team that leans over Kawhi.
Also, it's the start of the season which is important to build something with fans.
1 person here is already proof that fans will doubt them now.
I don't know If I can still trust this team's odds or nah.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest .. on: December 29, 2020, 09:52:01 AM
You cannot invest with all the coins.
Just how many coins are out there? You should start looking for the best.
You can start with the top 10 of every cryptocurrency website that ranks them.
Ethereum, Litecoin. etc...

You can start with Bitcoin though but its a bit expensive right now.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 29, 2020, 09:08:28 AM
WTH is happening?!
Los Angeles Lakers lost and Brooklyn Nets too?
I didn't watch both games and just saw the final score now. I even put handicaps because I am sure they can win both games.  Embarrassed
Just when I  thought they can break my losing streak.

That hurt my feelings.  Cry

2580  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 28, 2020, 02:18:58 PM
But look at them in the online world.
They talk like they know everything while in truth they have succumbed to the "I do not care" motto.   Grin

You should not force yourself into making them change.
You have done your part and they didn't listen. Might as well relax now and just enjoy it while they are still on their way to progress. Or not.
