Brighton and Chelsea will play today. My favorite is Chelsea. They will definitely win this game. In other words, they have to win. They don't want to lose points. They were playing very well until recently. Now is the time to play well again for Chelsea. I expect good football in this match.
After losing to Man City last weekend Chelsea can't afford to lose back to back thus it's a must win match against Brighton atleast to keep on closing the gap on Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool are the only two clubs that will prolong and challenge the title winner not to clinch it earlier, atleast they will put them on their toes and wouldn't give them any room for any complacency, thus I am backing Chelsea to be consistent in winning their upcoming matches afterall they are playing very well lately.

WHY ARE ETHEREUM GAS FEES RIDICULOUSLY HIGH?

I was about making a withdrawal transaction some time ago on the ethereum chain, and the service fee was approximately the amount of the withdrawal I wanted to make.
Is this normal or was the platform dubious?
I believe until the scalability issues relating to Ethereum transactions is resolved else the high cost of transactions will linger on, Vitalik Buterin and his team of developers has a lot of work to do to lowering the gas transaction fee either by fastracking the work on ERC2.0 which many believed will solve the issue, absolutely the high of transaction is not normal, if not resolve as soon as possible, definitely new developers will succour with other network such as BSC, TRC20.

People still think that bitcoin is akin to a Ponzi scheme? I don't exactly know how they go on about their lives being such a dumbass, it's like they're trying to make things wrong for bitcoin and discourage people from getting into it, plus who is at the top of bitcoin that's getting all the money then?
Honestly it's a herculean task trying to convince unknowledgeable people that bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme, most of the basis of their assumptions is the fact that a hodler earns some reasonable amount of profits
whenever there is pump in the price of the coin during a bullish run equally losing during the a bearish run, a concept that they think is synonymous with Ponzi scheme, which is absolutely untrue, infact an illerate will never get convinced about the whole idea about bitcoin thus will always discourage any newbie.

Newcastle are aiming to sign the PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas in this transfer window but PSG don't seem to be keen on selling him now. He has still two more years left on his current contract right now. I know that he is 35 years old but this is not a big problem for a goalkeeper as long as he performs great. And we see that Keylor Navas is still doing a great job at PSG and the team prefer him in the starting eleven more than Donnarumma. Newcastle don't seem to have much chance to sign him now.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10408651/Newcastle-preparing-ambitious-PSG-goalkeeper-Keylor-Navas-making-contact.html
If Newcastle United wants to be able to compete with the big teams and get some medals, they should go scouting for young players who are skillful, good and willing to play other than buying wood from burnley for such huge amount, as for me wood isn’t worth it. We all know Newcastle United have enough cash to throw around based on the clubs new owners but getting players this old and expensive isn’t going to pay off good for them.
I think Newcastle are aiming for a short term priority of escaping relegation first that is why they are trying to set  up a formidable team atleast to escape relegation, signing of Keypas Navas from PSG, Trippier is already in the team with addition of three more signings, they will fight relegation tooth and nail, till they escape thereafter I believe will start signing of young players at the end of season luckily the owner of the club is rich, they will be to afford any player who wish to join the club.
2565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 17, 2022, 05:46:06 AM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto
like for example if you get off the bed on the right side of the bed, your coins won't dump
wearing this color shirt keeps your portfolio in the green

I never believed one bit because I don't think it's true where there is no luck by chance but because of foresight or your part in you to believe it.
I think superstition is just a brain game that people believe because maybe a while ago someone had good luck and then it was associated with certain things until it continued. I thought it was all self-imposed bullshit, because I never believed it.
I approach my trade without any superstition belief thus I never believe in it, trading is requires in-depth knowledge in both technical and fundamental Analysis thus no any superstition will override those analysis, except such a trader is gambling probably luck was on that trader side coincidentally, however once it backfires such a trade would get liquidated within the shortest period of time, though I read articles on some gamblers relying on superstitions to win bets, well it might worked for them however trading is a different ball game

If we look at Man City's performance which is the most consistent compared to Liverpool and Chelsea. It seems very difficult to stop Man City
from becoming champions, because with the difference in points quite far, then where Liverpool and Chelsea have not played consistently
in the last few games, it is doubtful that they can catch up to the points that Man City has. After all, it is very difficult to expect Man City to drop
a lot of points, so 90% I am optimistic that Man City will be the winner of the Premier League  trophy this season. It will be very interesting
if Arsenal and Tottenham can win in the remaining games, because Arsenal and Tottenham are still leaving some games that have not been played.
This could threaten the position of Chelsea and Liverpool, so Chelsea and Liverpool must be alert and immediately improve their form.
well. it is certain that this season's trophy has been locked by mancity, they are a team that is focused and consistent in every game so it is difficult to expect them to slip expecting them to slip seems impossible.
and even the point difference is far enough the race for the trophy is still going but I won't expect any surprises, because I believe this season belongs to Man City. because it is possible that the trophy has been locked, so this season's competition is just to win the UCL ticket.
No doubt Man City would definitely clinch the EPL title however I just want Chelsea and Liverpool to keep on mounting pressure on them till the closing end of the season, if these two clubs flopped definitely Man City will win the title earlier, Liverpool is trailing them with 45 points with an outstanding match if won that will be 48 points while Man City has 56 points, with 8 points difference and 16 matches to go, though the gap isn't that much, Man City has been very consistent and very exceptional in their approach each matches thus look unstoppable for now.

90% of crypto geniuses failed just because they failed to HODL it learn from them don't be one of them.

First thing to learn in BTCitcoin is Hodl it - Fear is not Real

Majority of new comers (including me when I initially joined crypto) come with mind that they will become rich overnight since thats what crypto is all about. With this mind set they adopt day trading and end up losing all they have. IMO HODLING is the only strategy that can save you from losses in the long run.
Overcoming fear when it comes to any crypto related stuffs is a big challenge that is not easy to be overcome as a newbie, personally as a newbie I feared whenever the  the price of bitcoin is dumping and consequently sell off my coins then, however with time and experience I began to hodl my assets having studied how price dumped as well recovered in the past that historical events had allay all my fears in any event of price dumping while having confidence of price recovery, infact with reference to charting analysis it very obvious that price always bounce back after correction.
2568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 16, 2022, 06:12:26 PM
Liverpool showed their strength in a great way by dominating their Brentford game today. I really admired them in this game too even in the absence of Salah and Mane. They are playing like a machine and got a very well-deserved 3-0 win also. But the most interesting result was in the West Ham - Leeds game. Leeds somehow managed to get an unbelievable win by 3-2 in an away game. West Ham are one of the strongest teams in the PL now actually. I don't know how they lost this game home.
This result will prove critic wrong who had been critizing Liverpool inability to score goals and poor form in front of goal due to the absence of duo of Salah and Mane, the task at stake wouldn't give room for any complacency, there is the need to keep mounting pressure on Man City, Chelsea who could have reduce their points lost against them yesterday, I hope Liverpool continue with this winning streak, to give Man City a run of their money in winning the EPL title very early though it's becoming glaring they clinch the title.
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 16, 2022, 12:30:56 PM
Hi, I'm a normie who finally got into crypto in nov 2021. But I don't get stable coins. When you sell your crypto, why don't you just convert back to fiat and put that fiat into your bank account right away? I worry about stable coins becoming un-pegged; this is a big concern for me; it's an extra worry that you don't have if you just convert back to fiat right away.

I can see using stable coins as a trading pair to purchase alts on a dex but I don't understand holding stable coins for longer periods of time like weeks, months or years as a store of value; to me this feels way too risky. What am I missing?

Might be different if you could do a lot of your every-day normal shopping with stable coins but right now you can't.
To be on a safer side whenever I am not trading my portfolio is exchanged to a stable coin preferably USDT, and after profit taking, purposely to allow my coins to be stable and avoid losses in any event of price dump of course I only kept the amount of coins for trading in my exchange due to the risk involved having all my coins in the exchange while excess fund is transferred to the bank as fiat to avoid touching stories associated with hacking of exchange, your idea might be suitable for hodlers but not ideal for a daily trader.

In today's matches I bet on the favorites: Liverpool and West Ham. Both teams are playing at home against lower-ranked rivals and should win their games to keep their places in the top of the table. It is a pity that the Tottenham - Arsenal match was postponed, because it promised to be extremely interesting. Maybe it is better for the show if the teams will be able to play at a later date, but in the strongest line-ups.
It's a must win match for Liverpool to close gap between them and Man City having one match outstanding after today's match against Brentford possibly leapfrog Chelsea on the table, after both wins, meanwhile West Ham top 4 aspiration will motivate to win their match against Leeds Utd, though it's not going to be an easy game for both clubs, Liverpool attacks had declined following the absence of duo of Sallah and Mane it evidently manifested in their goalless draw against Arsenal on Thursday thus they need to work hard today.

The appointment of Gerrard as coach of Aston Villa is too late in my opinion.
Gerard is good for Aston Villa and he can improve the team's performance for the better. Aston Villa will thrive with him but he still needs time and management support to make the team more competitive. One of what Gerard needed was financial support to do some maneuvers in the market and get some players that fit the strategy he implemented for the team.

On other things, he needs the trust of his own management and team to do everything well. Of course this is a good start for Gerard as one of the coach in the Premier League, he will be a coach to be reckoned with in Europe in the next few seasons if he succeeds at Aston Villa.
The appointment of Gerard as the manager of Villa has improved the club, irrespective whether his appointment came late or not, though the season has gone far however consistency in Villa performances his season will place the club in a better position to vie for a top 4 spot next season, Aston Villa coming from two goals down and drawing the match against Man Utd is worthy of commendations, Coutinho scoring in his debut also deserve some accolade, his signing will enable Villa to be  more formidable and stronger with the tactical inputs of Gerrard.

I think nigeria are trying right from the first match with Egypt they did very well. Today with Sudan they already scored 3 goals that shows they already have big chance of winning the game. Nigeria is going in the way of Manchester city in the afcon game . Ķudus to Chukwuze to me he's the man of the match.
From onset I don't think the Sudanese stand a chance of winning the match, they tried atleast to concede only 3 goals against a well organized and star-studded Nigerian side, Moses Simon was always a thorn in a flesh on Sudanese defenders, Nigerian team would surely go far in this competition if the are consistent with this performance,  however the Sudanese tried their best scored a consolation goal and has a point with a match against Egypt on Wednesday.

Tomorrow we have another very exciting match between the very low ranked teams Newcastle United vs Watford after new ownership now they are improving and tomorrow they have a very clear chance of coming out of the relegation zone after defeating Watford even it's not easy but still manageable because now things are in their favor, and they can do something special for having some better place and giving some boost to their new owners after coming out of relegation zone. In the last 5 matches, Watford is the second team after Norwich which not win any match and with this performance they are going to be down, and most chances relegated again because their early form was good but suddenly now they are going down and having some serious issues which can give them more bad results in near future.
A win by Newcastle over Watford will temporary placed them above relegation zone, that does not mean they had escape it, their are lots of outstanding matches yet to be played by both Burnley and Watford after completion of those matches the coast will be cleared then relegation bound clubs will be revealed, clubs battling to escape relegation this season will be very tough and very competitive, Watford, Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich will slug it out among themselves, while Everton and Leeds has to up their games else the risk being push down to relegation zone.
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 14, 2022, 06:27:47 PM
There will always be positive speculation about the market situation every year but 2021 isn't actually a bad year for crypto. I'm also too positive that things will get better this year despite the continued existence of the pandemic. I believe that more potential coins would strike a better price and more great projects would exist.
even every year speculation will continue to exist both positive and negative.
on the other hand as you said 2021 is not a bad year and even if you look at it with the naked eye it's already known.
how btc made their new ATH 2 times during 2021.
but indeed things like this can not be separated from fud and some other controversies there.
but whatever it is I think this year will be even better than last year
The year 2022 had just started and the perceptions is that market was bearish and some speculations is that may be 2022 wouldn't be positive in terms of price like 2021, however I agreed with you that this year Altcoins would thrive higher than last year though this is subject to individual researching of potential profitable coins out of the numerous ones available, some NFTs and Metaverse related coins will surely trend very well just like AXS that pumped massively in 2021, there are also few upcoming projects that will enjoy massive investment.
2575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 14, 2022, 06:29:07 AM
Arsenal really impressed me yesterday. Despite getting a one man down 24 minutes into the game, they were still able to resist Liverpool and ended the match in goalless draw. Liverpool indeed dominated with 79% ball possession, but had difficulties in securing a goal. Arsenal probably had a solid defence which made the game tough for Liverpool to win.
Yes Liverpool had more than 75% of the ball and yet failed to register a single effort on target until stoppage time. Their crossing was poor, their set-pieces worse. They made too many basic errors, sloppy passes and heavy touches. Henderson, Milner, Firmino, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, they were all guilty. I must applaud Arteta for his tactics after Xhaka had picked up a red card. Terrific performance, brilliant solid display away at ANFIELD. I must say I am proud of every single player out there. They outdid themselves. Liverpool was so average without Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, they dominate but can’t get a shot on target. They better pray Egypt and Senegal don’t go far in AFCON, or else they would drop form.

A total of 17 shots were taken, but none were successful.
Liverpool scored no goals without Salah or Mane. I thought that was an embarrassing performance. There was no real attacking threat, no fight or creativity. It was possible for Liverpool to lose had the first leg if not been postponed. Arsenal have no midfielders for this weekend's match against Tottenham after Xhaka was sent off against Liverpool in a 0-0 draw. As long as the club waited for Xhaka, he did more harm than good to the team.
Yesterday match has really exposed Liverpool lack of bite in front of goal in the absence of the duo of Salah and Mane, unfortunately Firminho and Diego Jota couldn't do the job effectly as Arsenal frustrated and defended very well, even had a shot on goal to their credit which could have lead to a goal if not for the poor touch by Saka, they deserve a draw in that match, atleast they will be motivated towards this weekend derby game against Tottenham, while hoping to win their second leg at the emirates next week.
2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 13, 2022, 11:36:00 PM
It's still too early to predict the price of bitcoin which is currently only slightly rising from 40k to 43k which I think will go down again because the correction is still continuing, and to reach 50k it looks like it will still take a long time.
but if the decline does not return to 40K there is a possibility that a slow increase will lead to 50K, and only time and patience we have to prepare next because at this time it is difficult to predict bitcoin price movements and only Hold or take advantage of the decline that occurs to make gradual purchases because 100K has not been reached and will definitely happen.
It seem the support at $42K will hold the price after a minor pullback, the bullish pressure wouldn't allow the price to decline to $40K, presently the price is touching the support, if the price bounce off the resistance turned support successfully that means the bulls had taken over the market invariably the bullish trend will continue probably till the $47K the next strong resistance, for now price reaching $50K target will take some time before it can be achieved, the best bet is to continue to buy at every dip.
2577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: January 13, 2022, 06:41:27 PM
Wow i thought you're just putting a sign on every candle sticks and suddenly i noticed that it was a bull picture on the graph. Lol well let's just be ready if that's the sign for the next bull run, in fact the current level now is telling that somebody is pumping the price because of the rejection.. Let's see if it continually making a clear trend this time.
It's was indeed a nice creativity to cap it all the bears are at the mouth of the bull, probably the bull throws out the bear and take control of the market, I hope to see this speculation and feelings of the OP come to pass, after enduring a bear market that started from November 2021, it's time to start buying and accumulating to avoid fear of missing out and of course if really someone is responsible for the current bullish trend I hope the trend is sustained till another ATH is attained.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 13, 2022, 04:31:14 PM
Liverpool's match against Arsenal in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final looks like it will be tough, because some of their key players are injured and some are playing in the Africa Cup of Nations. But even so, I personally will still believe in Klopp because of his good experience I think Liverpool will be able to play well and win the game in 90 minutes.
The absence of Mo.Salah and Mane count a lot in today's match and Arsenal will surely field their first team atleast to revenge their last bashing by Liverpool, it wouldn't be an easy match for Liverpool though they will play the second leg however I think majority of their key players wouldn't play that match either, Arsenal will utilize this opportunity of winning a trophy this season after losing out of FA cup, I agreed that Kloop has what it take to play a formidable team in today's match however I believe the odd favors Arsenal provided that they didn't mess up.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 13, 2022, 11:40:29 AM
After yesterday's game between Chelsea and Tottenham I think Tottenham have a lot to do via transfer because they are not good enough to compete for the top four with players that are not committed or good enough, players like Doherty, Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele are occupying space in that team they are not committed to the club... people like Emerson Royal, Sanchez are not good enough to be first team players in the spurs squad they are suppose to be in the second eleven that's why I we say if levy do not support Conte in this winter transfer I think he is wasting his time and Conte might leave the job and go before his contact end
I believe Daniel Levi the current chairman of Tottenham should be blamed for lack of quality players in the club, he has the opportunity of selling Harry Kane worth €100K to Man City last season, had they sold him, the club would have enough fund to buy three to four quality players into the team combining with likes of Son and Moura also making the team formidable enough to compete at the highest level, the current squad isn't formidable to make top 4 this season though Conte had been trying to make club strong and up their game.

What is the best method to bet most especially if one is betting on football matches what is the best currency to bet with, using cryptocurrency to bet of using traditional paper money. Which one is more secured and fast for inline usage.
I think crypto betting is the best method and using the advantage of placing my bets anonymously without or avoid going to a betting shop to bet via fiat i.e using traditional money, in my country many people has negative perspection of people who goes to betting shops to place bet as gamblers and irresponsible people, however since I adopted the of use crypto for my daily transactions, I also utilizes it to bet online and swiftly all the transactions is securely done in my house.
