I hope there will be hardware wallet support soon.

Yes, but first a couple big exchange/mobile wallet hacks.

Sorry, industry standard.

XTB does have a nice ring to it actually.
Easy to remember and swish over to from XBT, once Bitcore takes over, heh.
Really close to BTX as well, BTX written in reverse even.

Right up your alley Vlad, anagrams, hidden meanings and mystery puzzles Wink

I think XTB is good to remember.

We have community consensus, XTB it is.

I’ll let the Fab 5 know!   Cool

Don't you need more voters?

No, No, we’re good to go.

Thanks for your input.

Great post, can anyone explain in detail the benefits of Mining Algorithm: timetravel10 (GPU)?

I have a similar question.  I’d like to know how long this PoW algo can remain ASICS resistant.  Thx.

ISO 4217

The international standard for currency codes (ISO 4217) for Bitcore is XCO.
Currently BTX is used for all exchanges, a slow transition to the international standard XCO will be implemented slowly during the years 2018 – 2020.

Sorry, I should have quoted it before, my bad. Thanks Vlad.
Interesting that XCO coin already exists...

Maybe, most of them are not approved however.
Not even XBT for Bitcoin is approved currently.

We are considering different alternatives already. This is however only one of many minor points on our schedule.

XCO is not listed on the ISO list of active currencies.  He must be referring to crypto which is irellevant.

Edit:  May I recommend XTB?  It’s not being used anywhere.   Grin

Yep, I was referring to crypto. So ISO abbreviation is something totally different? I probably need to do some more research about it Smiley

Crypto is the Wild West, you just take any name and symbol you want unless it’s trademarked and few are.

But why make waves if they’re not stuck on XCO, use XTB.  Really close to XBT.  It flows, it works much better when it comes to trading and FX markets.

See?

S I D E C H A I N S for btx ?

20MB is Mickey Mouse, without sidechains they won’t make it.

Edit:  Also, my guess is they’ll go with Segwit + Lightening Network as well.  But they’ll still need sidechains.

Like is said in PM when BTX will hit $1000 you have a 20BTX gift from me Smiley

Screenshot!   Cheesy

Don’t worry, this dev team, Core 4 or Core 5, Fab 5, whatever you wanna all them are executing amazingly well.

Transaction speed is really nice. But also keep in mind that the network is not that over flooded compared to BTC.
In general I think people need to build their portfolio leave the BTX in the wallet and chill!
Many posts here are panic posts after BTX lost 10%..
Transaction speed is mostly determined through block and transaction size and block time. The # of transactions being processed at all does have only an impact if it exceeds the # of transactions possible. If you would put the same amount of transactions that BTC has at the moment into BTX, BTX wouldn't flinge. For the snapshot on 2nd Nov the BTX blockchain processed and stored blocks of 3MB (three times the size of BTC), while being able to store blocks of 20MB. https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@xwerk/making-blockchain-history-bitcore-btx-is-currently-writing-blocks-with-over-3000-kb-of-data

Yes, I agree. I know the technical differences but I also wanted to point out that there is limitation to the BTX transaction speed even though that limitation is way beyond what BTC is currently able to achieve.

Correct.

Enter...

Comparing BTX with BTC does not make sense. BTC is the mother of all cryptocoins, and has its own value.
When BTX reaches $ 10,000 it will be fine for me.

               ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That’s not how it works.

BTC is literally a very inferior payment system.

You are supposed to compare features, security, capacity, etc and NOT price.

CMC has been correct this entire time.  Those coins waiting to get dumped do not count as circulating. Bothering them with endless tweets and messages accomplishes nothing but annoyance.

Correct.

All the menstruating vaginas need to chill and just enjoy the cheap accumulation.  Don’t hurry to cut yourselves short.

Looking at the dogs with $20+ billion caps...

Minimum $5,000.   Grin

$5000 for 1 Bitcore?!

Bitcore is faster than Bitcoin and has its own blockchain + it's even rare.

Hell yeah, if this happens.

Never sell all your Bitcore.

I think good times are going to happen, once

the airdrops are finished.

Bitcoin has its own blockchain and is just as rare.   Roll Eyes

BTX has better distribution, much more capacity, much faster, much more decentralized mining/security, and can innovate much faster than BTC and they also have their own funding so they won’t be beholden to banks/corporations to grow and innovate.

It’s all around a much better payment system than BTC.

I'm not very happy with this unexpected change in the payment structure. I joined because #1 - I wanted BTX to sit on long term, not a flat $ amount & #2 - I like the tech, features, and developers on BTX.

I will still stay because it's a nice $ amount and I only want to promote coins that I believe in  (unlike most that are only doing campaigns for the money). I wish the best for BTX.... I'm just a wee bit bummed right now.

I'm sad to hear about your disappointment but we'll still pay you BTX, just that you'll receive BTX equivalent to the $ amount you are getting paid.

Feel like I need to clarify this since I've been receiving some PM's about it:

We are still paying you BTX but we are you paying you a specific $ amount of BTX rather than a specific BTX amount. So there's no need to worry about how you'll receive your payment or in what form. It has and will continue being in BTX.

Devs are obviously expecting a big run in price.  That’s the only logical explanation.

Well, it is clear... devs know there will be a huge pump soon, because of the amazing news comming... and they dont want to promise 3 BTX for signature when it will be $100 per BTX soon  Cool

bullish  Grin Grin Grin

Definitely a big pump coming.  So instead of 10 BTX per month we’re gonna get 1-2.

Lame!!

a big pump is not a bad thing Smiley

Well, it is.

If it hits ~$400 all the bitcoin whales will claim their 50%, that’s millioms of BTX earning 4%+ per week which would deplete the free too good to be true compound interest very rapidly.

The upside to that is that BTX will surpass $10 billion cap.

But still, keeping things cheap until March would have been nice.
