2581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: May 18, 2014, 08:06:01 PM

1-click-clients are available, how much they are a node does not matter to the most users as Nxt is lightweight already.
+1

No, NXT is not lightweight. I have an old laptop that I use for traveling and it takes several minutes until the nxt client is ready to go. Multibit takes 20 seconds.

Well, NRS has to start and verify the blockchain. It's pretty fast on my desktop (less than 30 seconds) , but I am sure this will be slower on a laptop.    Once Wesley releases his lightweight client (as browser extension) that will be instantaneously fast as it won't need NRS and local copy of blockchain.

He has too many other stuff to do, though. DGS should be priority right now.

yes I know that. I just wanted to say that just now we don't have anything other than people that let you access their port, but that is unsecure.

I am looking very much forwared to a extension client, because it will boost mainstream usage!

We do need a solution for that!

2596  Economy / Services / Re: EARN FREE 0.01 BTC! Just join an IPO for me, NO RISK!!!!! on: May 16, 2014, 03:46:54 PM
I will propose a way to do this tomorrow, where I will send the BTC directly to the N2 guy and you claim it then, after I get the n2 coins you will then get the 0.01 BTC.

Can't do it today though, I am working now.

Make sure you only do this with trusted people then. Otherwise they can claim the N2 and just not send it to you (and now they have 0.02 BTC worth of N2 free that they can cash out). It's really running the same risk as just paying up front.

I will send BTC directly to the N2 guy and they need to use my N2 address. If they fuck me, they will get a very bad rep!

People, please try to say something more meaningful and close to English or just post "bump" or "up"  Cheesy

Those guys are chinese, they use google translator, that's why it sounds so generic and bad.

Ok, because there is much confusion here. You have to join the N2 IPO and send the coins to me then. I want those coins, but I am not allowed to buy more. That is the reason for this thread.

I am not going to send 0.03 BTC to random members, everyone that is not a trusted member will get the BTC after sending me the N2 coins!
2600  Economy / Services / Re: EARN FREE 0.01 BTC! Just join an IPO for me, NO RISK!!!!! on: May 16, 2014, 12:39:44 AM
How do you earn from this?  Just give me 0.03 BTC, and I'll join the IPO Smiley

Send me a BTC address and I send  0.03 BTC to you so that you can join.

I want more than 1 stake, but the Dev only wants to give me one..
