Its been a frantic couple days for us since the suspension of the IPL Cricket..
One of Cricket's biggest tournaments each year leaves a big hole in our plans.

It's very tough pill to swallow for cricket fans as well. But yeah given how the situation is there they had to take those hard decision to suspend indefinitely considering the safety interests of players. Still I am bit sure that it will continue but will happen only if situation normalises soon so hope for that to happen.

@coinlocket$ I disagree as Manchester United fans already managed to get a game postponed, and now they’re boycotting Manchester United sponsors too, hence the club will be foolish to ignore the fans, hence I believe this rumour has started. Also I’m 100% sure that Kane won’t make the switch, because Levy is very difficult to deal with and he won’t sell Kane to a rival.

Additional information:

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/12297273/manchester-united-fans-begin-boycott-of-club-sponsors-in-bid-to-put-pressure-on-glazers

Fans are a big part of a team but when billionaire comes in they always tend to ignore some things and take decisions.  It's very complicated to speak in this matter. But yeah what is going on in Manchester isn't right at all.

Kane has always been a Spurs boy and I don't think of any reason for him to leave. He is at best and getting minutes. It's just that team at last isn't getting the results and with that discussions are being brought down that Kane should leave in order to progress as a player and hence Kane to United transfer rumour.

Wow,,, my old coaches really go places:) Poch to PSG (and I guess he could not repeat an upset against Pep last night) and now Mou to Roma. Just wow I would say, Jose will probably not see Europe next season unless Roma somehow reduce the points gap with just a few games remaining. Good luck to him there, I hope he gets what he wants:)

Seems like almost impossible for Roma as of now as they stand 12 points below the teams placed for Europa spot and not just that , they also have Lazio in between so very very hard if you ask me. Still bit surprised that Mourinho got hired again. I was maybe thinking like another 1 year break.  Cheesy

This is a good chance for Bubzkji and he is taking the chances well.
nah, the hell with him, they made me lose my bet so they should disband 😂

I am always doubtful of performance from a team with recent changes and stay away on betting on them. Heroic have been on a great form while Astralis are on a bad form plus device left , so Heroic seemed like a pretty fav choice. For Astralis , there are players who have been out of form like Xyp9x . I still recall those clutches by Xyp9x but now he is totally not delivering like he used to earlier. I actually thought Xyp9x would be the one to change when device confirmed about some changes but it came out to be the one least expected. Dupreeh also has to switch his role to AWP'er so lot of changes. Astralis needs to adjust a bit and that will take time.

What a beast Antonio is damn.. A perfect forward and has good good sense of steering inside and make runs ahead of defenders. Burnley were lucky with the penalty goal but Hammers answers right back with two goals by Antonio. Burnley are having a hard time keeping Hammers attack away atm.

As for other game, Natus have lost their matches they played this season against Gambit
no chance for NaVi, imo. first half in Map 3 and they're 4-11. Gambit would need to play with their monitors off and with xbox controllers to lose this game, NaVi are playing like dogcrap rn

whatever, i'm looking forward to Heroic - Astralis. I have O2.5 maps at 1.9. I honestly expect Heroic to win this but Astralis looked pretty good in the last couple of games, so maybe they can take a map, Bubzkji was insane vs. COL so perhaps he'll carry his team again today? one can dream (;

I thought that Navi had this with them getting Dust 2 quite easily but I can't stop but praise Gambit with how well they made the comeback. In 3rd map, Navi seemed to be crawling back in second half but Gambit made things clear after gaining momentum after a while. Good play from both sides but this win sees Navi winless against Gambit this season.

It's impressive that Astralis are playing same even after device left. This is a good chance for Bubzkji and he is taking the chances well. Still he has lot to go through to get into same status like his other teammates are but he is taking steps into right direction.

I put a ridiculously big bet (by standards of what I generally bet anyway) on LFC today... against my own judgment. I'm hoping our boys will be fired up for this one because if beating United doesn't stir up fire in them, we really don't deserve Champions League or even Europa.

I think its all or nothing for Liverpool. United will not be at the best with the Europa game they had and the amount of energy they had to put after in second half to make comeback against Roma. Liverpool will have good advantage going into this match but that not necessarily means they will win this for sure. They still have chance so why not play out the best for the remainder of the fixtures and secure CL spot. At least go down with a fight kno? who knows maybe they are able to secure in the end with slightest margins.

I just realized that Neymar's contract expires next year as well. I thought it was until 2023. That actually means PSG is a lot of trouble because of Mbappe as well - extending with both will be very difficult and it probably means they are losing one.

Of course PSG would rather lose Neymar, but he's more likely to sign and Mbappe can generate a lot more money.

It is actually difficult for PSG with both of their stars near to contract expiration but I think they will be able to get them to sign new contract somehow. They both are reported to be happy. For Neymar I don't think he has any plans to switch but for Mbappe he is still young and have lot of years to play so why not switch to some better club. There is still an year left on their contracts and anything could happen.

Add Di Maria to the mix as well - and it's very likely that their front line will look very different soon. One more reason for them to try for Aguero - he could be a great shortterm solution.

Di Maria is getting old but still is a good player. They could extend his contract for a year but don't think would be more than that. Aguero could be interesting choice. PSG do have Icardi but they still need an experience player to lead down their attack and I think Aguero is still one of the best out there. Why not sign him at good price and try out?

Anyway, it's really going to be an interesting summer.

Oh, definitely..With all the contracts expiration of players, we are gonna see some crazy transfers. Hopefully we will have some shocking ones and some big ones as well.

Virtus.Pro vs G2 Esports start in 15 minutes  great match to watch, im think G2 wil win it gone be a hard match.
Gambit eSports vs Natus Vincere  my Favorite is Natus butt im dont now can they win this match hm. Huh

Virtus Pro vs G2 is a tough one. I would have said Virtus but recently they haven't been that well. Yekindar is good so is Jame and co but their calls haven't been well enough. Proper comms is missing and they have been giving away rounds lately. I would go with my intuition on this one and would say Virtus.

As for other game, Natus have lost their matches they played this season against Gambit and Natus Vincere would be very much would be looking for revenge. With flamie sitting out and b1t coming in and playing some good CS Natus have good chance to get their revenge. I always have been underdog lover and the way Gambit are playing is really marvellous so its Gambit for me. Still it is a very very tough match so better to hold your betting horses on this one and watch the match.

Despite Aguero absence and the distancing from the competition he still have the sense of scoring like the Argentine finds it when things stumble and the goal is difficult .

He is a very well experienced striker and he has scored lot of crucial goals. I hope we can see bit more of Aguero in remainder of Man City matches while he is here. But yeah its hard to keep your spot inside a team with so much density.

For me I think that Man City will have to wait for next week to seal the league as i favore the Red Devils against Liverpool tomorrow.

Can't be so sure mate, Man Utd. just had their Europa game and they had to pull themselves a lot to make a comeback in their leg against Roma. Surely they would be a bit tired and Ole is also probably gonna make some changes. Liverpool on other hand would come up with fresh players but they haven't been at their best for quite some time now. Its gonna be a bit of gamble to choose sides but I am expecting a low scoring match probably under 2.5.

Still doesn't changes much for City as with today's win they are sitting comfortably and even if it is not in this round, title will confirm in next rounds if they keep on getting points out of remaining fixtures.

This has be a rumour for the longest time , isn't time to accept that this move won't happen, maybe Barca is hinting to say Neymar isn't happy to be in France, hence the continued rumours??

There is still question mark over Neymar signing a new contract so these are all side rumours that comes up popping when players have near to an year left with their respective current clubs. I don't think Barcelona's financial position has improved so them finalizing Neymar move seems miles away to me. Furthermore there are reports that he is close to sign new contract though no certainty yet.

^  Aguero still has it.  I wish Pep would let him play in the more important matches for the club even if it’s just as a sub.  But a super sub.  Grin  It’s always good to have a player of his calibre in Pep’s back pocket just in case the team needs to get out of a rut.  Kinda like how Drogba was in his last couple of years with Chelsea.

I feel like that his teammates are ignoring him on field. Not much passes are played to him , feels like 10 players team on field. Today he definitely proved that he still has it and why he is a legend. Those stats at City are no jokes at all. The goal today- pass from Mendy was very good but the touch and the finish from Aguero was extraordinary. I still wonder if by any chance we could still see a bit more of him in PL maybe? Some other PL club next season?

Brighton - Leeds:  sorry but what are these odds?

Leeds are unbeaten in the last 6 games, 4 of those games were vs. City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. On the other hand, Brighton lost to a relegated team like Sheffield last weekend, plus they stilll haven't won a game since march...so yeah, Brighton are the main favs in the books....why? Leeds double chance at 1.7, asian handicap -0 at 2.57...am i missing smth or what??

That's a bit shocking. I was thinking bit of even odds actually. Both are playing nice football but like you said Leeds will be having good confidence after facing some good teams back to back. They are very good on attacks but are equally bad in defence as well so not entirely would favour Leeds win here as well.

Brighton are also not bad with Welbeck, Maupay, and all. They could surprise Leeds also.

Leicester is really throwing points away lately. With 4 games remaining they still have to play Chelsea, United and Tottenham and have really put their CL position into doubt again.

Liverpool and West Ham are still far away but Leicester lost CL position last season in the last game when it also seemed impossible 5 games earlier. Their only luck is that Liverpool is worse than them and they are about to play United.

It was an unexpected result for me too. Vestergaard was shown a red card very early and I started thinking that Leicester would win it even easier then. But that was not the case. Southampton still managed to get ahead 1-0 in the second half. Leicester weren't late to answer. But they couldn't make a comeback unfortunately.

The whole plan was changed after the red card. It was to defend right till the end and get a point out of it at best. The penalty gave Southampton a good advantage over Leicester but Leicester somehow got an equaliser. Still I think it was a great piece of tactical awareness and the team initiated quite well also.

No tight matches today but I am expecting lot of changes in sides playing in CL's so could be a bit of surprise in those matches.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 30, 2021, 08:02:18 PM
^^ I think red card was bit harsh for Southampton. Vestergaard did a mistake and while trying to win it he made contact with the ball first and didn't had any intent to foul. I think it will be overturned later on but still it's harsh with them playing with 10 men out there today.

At the moment they are holding Leicester somehow but there is still 45 minutes to play and that's a difficult task.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 02:39:14 PM
I feel like they Furia need to maybe proceed things bit differently now that other teams are slowly getting their plays. Its not surprising to most teams anymore.
the whole arT going in aggressively is so easy to read now cos you've been watching the same strat for well over a year now, right? thing is that he can't play differently, it's in his dna  Roll Eyes

Maybe like some rounds different player plays the aggression role? Maybe VINI? Still when it comes to the element of surprise for the opponents none of them does it better than arT does but seriously they are getting read like a book and they do maybe need a change. Maybe turn off the aggression for few games or few rounds maybe..that's still bit unpredictable right?

Also I still am sad about HEN1 leaving the group. He was such a great contributer and after he left FURIA have been struggling quite most of the times.
2597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 02:45:41 PM
went with FURIA. this is totally a 50/50 cos both have been quite trash as of late, but i've always rated the brazilian, so EDIT* oof!...but most games in the Dreamhack so far have been really, really close.

Yeah they both have been poor lately. Glad that I didn't put money, would have chosen brazilian side if I were on time. Vertigo was totally disaster from Furia. BIG were aware about their aggression and they handle that pretty well while defending on CT side. I have been saying it lately that Furia's games are like coin toss. Depends on how ready their opponents are against Furia's aggression.

I feel like they Furia need to maybe proceed things bit differently now that other teams are slowly getting their plays. Its not surprising to most teams anymore.

^^ I was also able to get something out of the 4-3 promo round. Just missed out on no. of goals which i thought would be 2 but went on 3. Anyway 10$ freebet still brings me a smile. Villareal vs Arsenal looks interesting with both teams to score and Manchester United to win against Roma. Roma haven't been defensively well and could go down easily against United's attack. What do you guys think?
2599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 10:29:55 AM
When Paris SG took the lead, I thought they were going to win this game. Failing to keep the score and scoring 2 goals in 7 minutes caused them to leave the match with a defeat.
PSG players came to the match with a very bad philosophy, you could agree with me that after they scored the first goal they try to manage the game, they switched to defend an early  1 goal lead thus giving man city the momentum to press them, man city had the whole game under control, PSG was trying to play on the counter attack which didn't yield any result because the midfield was already taken by mancity. We are having another English Final and nothing is stopping it now.

I would say Manchester City approached the game well after that. They started giving off the ball too easily unlike in first half and that really gave City more possession and they didn't hurried things after that and that paid off well. First goal was a lucky one and second goal was all due to the poor free kick wall but it was really well struck by Mahrez and what a moment Cityzens had yesterday. They have good away goal advantage but you really can't be sure yet untill the last leg.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 04:24:23 AM
According to my predictions, Manchester City managed to beat PSG and Manchester City deserved to win.

it was already expected that City would win, PSG have good players but that in the champions league they seem to be lost, I speak of Ángel Di María who in 9 games he made in the champion league only scored 1 goal. but the rest of the players like neymar and mbappe had an acceptable performance, but City Is a team that has a great coach and a very strategist, it was clear that City would win that game, but have to be careful in the second round because the PSG can still win in the second round and move to another stage

Talking about Angel Di Maria, his performance has decreased considerably, maybe because he is now 33 years old, So indeed PSG should consider
selling him and being replaced by a younger player. Actually PSG's defeat is not only that PSG players don't show their best performance like when
they beat Liverpool. However, the strategy on Pep's path, especially in the second half, was very effective. Although the results of the first leg were
very good for Manchester City, as you can say, PSG's chances of qualifying for the final are still open. Therefore, for the second leg match,
Manchester City should not underestimate PSG.

I think Di Maria played great. He didn't scored goals but still he was making chances. Even Marquinhos goal came from Di Maria's corner. There was another chance which was close but Ederson did good job in handling that. I think Di Maria still at that age is playing good. They can buy a player in that position using them as alternate but I don't think at all that Di Maria was bad yesterday.
