How well do you know the of history Nigerian currency and which of the currency was the lowest denomination in your eye when you been begin know difference between stick candy and cabin biscuit? I know say old people they here and young lad also they here, so make we share some knowledge on how the country currency take reach where we dey today.
Nigeria's currency don changed and transitioned over some time due independency, civil war, changes in government, CBN policy to battle inflation, redesigning of the texture to battle money laundering and the quest to build one of the standard currencies around the world.
If I could remember very well, I once had an opportunity to go through my grandma's old stuff before she been kick bucket, they are so good at keeping old stuff even the ones they don't need again and guess what I found, I saw some shillings notes and coins in metal box that are no longer in circulation, it was small when compare with the current ones (that was round 2006) and the colour was so gleemed and smell like of old mint money but little did I know about our currency until I recently started doing some research on old Nigerian currencies and their date issued and year they were discarded.
How many old britished currencies did we used and the year they where created, what are the current ones use that are in circulation and which materials was that used and later been replaced are discussed.

Right before we became an independent nation, Nigeria was using the cowries and beads to they exchange good and services but as colonial people carry their wahala come shows us say them sabi way of life and them better pass us, different ethnicity were forced to form as one and we begin the use of the british coins, thats was how the used of penny, pence and shillings begin, the date they were created and issued are all in the tale below.
After a few years, the materials used to make some of the coins was changed. In 1908, the material used to make the ½(Half) penny was changed from Aluminum to Cupro-Nickel, and in 1920, the penny and shillings coins were changed to Brazz.

THE BRITISH WEST AFRICA OLD NOTES

With some developments, 4 countries been joined body as one and formed the West African Currency Board (WACB) to create their own first bank note, with this notes, you can used it as an exchange to settle goods and service between Ghana, Gambia, Sierra lone and Nigeria. They introduce about 5 notes and which were unique in designed and were regulated under the british supervision.

After our Independency, the west Africa old notes were removed form circulation and our first coins and bank notes were created , much didn't change till now except for the coins that were withdrawn from circulation and changes  in some of Nigeria Bank notes from paper to polymer(#5,#10, #20 and #50). I didn't include the New notes because everyone here should be familiar with the polymer currencies and there is much difference between the old and the New, its just the texture designed and size. The Nigeria coins were discarded and withdrwans because they lack value, they couldn't buy anything in the society due to inflation just like the way #5 is no longer doing anything good in circulation.

When you think Manchester United are done with disappointing the fans, thats when they serve them another heart break, I wonder what they have to excite their fans next season without getting a ticket for next Champions League.

Thier designed looks like the old tricks used in cloning of banks websites, they will make you believe you in the right bank and when you login and want to withdraw, they request for a key with a bar indicating the progress of your withdrawal. The progress bar is just like inbuilt Javascript that read something like 10% 25% 50% 75% and in every %, you will be  asked to provide key(you will he asked to pay/deposit in exchange for the key), that's how they keep billing you until 98% probably tell you that transaction failed and may asked you to start again. So #pathetic

What Happened: Fake USDT Mint and trading platform

I have been hearing from a group of discussions about fake USDT mint and trading platforms until I came across one. What they do best is to PM you on Telegram/Wechat/Whatsapp with a message that includes a username and password, the balance to that account( ofcourse it's too fake to be true) and the link to the website. They give you a virtual large balance of USDT on the dashboard and ask you to withdraw.

One thing unique about this scam is that they wouldn't just scam you straight away, they will request a key/pin in an exchange for you to pay a small fee to facilitate the withdrawal and this is not a one time request, they will continue to ask you for this key/pin until they finish milking you without any successful withdrawal.

Being a Full Node comes with great merit for yourself, you have the full option of privacy protected literally while also protecting the bitcoin network as well. I'm not a political person, and I dislike having political arguments but I feel exchanges are going the extra mile to harm people with the lock of accounts, it is not anyone's fault the governments in power are fighting themselves.
