~~~ i hope all return normal again, i have a simple job for tell me if forum is up or down, and is broken (because return 403)
I guess the TryNinja's Telegram bot is back online I did receive a few notifications today's from mentions and also for new threads that were created in boards that are been tracked by me. I don't think it's going to last for long though. Is that so or am I using a different TryNinja telegram bot? As I haven't received any notifying messages from my own end all today. Apart from the mentioned and new threads notifications, I earned a merit today and didn't get a notification from the bot on my telegram unlike it so I doubt it's back online, the errors still persist. However, I agree with you the fault it's not gonna last for long, hopefully.
Lack of education, technical knowledge, and awareness has been the major challenge for Bitcoin enthusiasts, it is high time we kick-start the mass eradication of Bitcoin illiteracy in our society, preach about Bitcoin, but don't force it on anyone,
If we chronicles through the years from 2009 to date 2023 (two decades) we can see a magnificent growth in it's adoption. There's no country in the world that bitcoin is not known or spoken of mindless of any restrictions or ban policies from the government of such country. One of the major challenge the spread of bitcoin is facing is not the literacy/educational aspect as there are individuals that have heard about bitcoin but don't have the financial power to invest in the project since when they were told. I had a personal encounter with a stranger in a public bus sometime ago, normally am not part of those that go around preaching to people about bitcoin as a way to avoid unnecessary blames thereafter. But I was moved to talk a little about bitcoin to the stranger sitting next to me in the bus that faithful day. What struck me was when after our little chat was his response," I'll have loved to give it a try but I just don't have extra finance to invest". Many people are battling to survive with the little that comes in handy, and it's only when you have gotten more than enough that's when you can buy the idea of investment. Unavailability of money is a big barrier to bitcoin adoption than lack of education.
Buying merit is a let down to your brains for something which you can easily earn by using same brains to give solutions to someone's plight to useful and valuable information. The early stage in the forum for everyone is always difficult as a newbie with no knowledge of how the forum operates, where to disseminate or imbibe informations. Still it doesn't warrant the monetization of the merit system.
OP should bother himself more on how useful he could be to the forum cause your stems of growth in the forum depends on how useful, resourceful and informative you are to the needs of users queries about cryptocurrency challenges they encounter, and general knowledge outside crypto altogether. Don't engage in merit buying it's not allowed.
A person who's spending his whole salary in gambling is likely an addict indeed. Because if you're just playing to kill time, you'll not spend a significant amount just to sustain this habit. Well, we know it's hard to earn money nowadays plus almost everything is expensive due to inflation. What i'm trying to say is, we need to prioritize the essential things before thinking of leisure time. Gambling is really entertaining and can give us excitement especially if we win. However if you know that you can't follow the set limit because of temptation, then don't ever try to gamble regardless of your reasons on why you want to play. Because even we always say to have a self-control when you're playing, we can't deny that many gamblers can't follow it, easy to be said than done as they say. Well for me it depends on what type of gambler you are because there are still gamblers who are not letting gambling to affect them negatively.
You are talking about an addict who is spending everything he earns on gambling and then you want them to work on self control. Social gamblers whom we consider nonaddicts, who we also feel as those gambling for entertainment are the ones who eventually become addicted to gambling later on. Self control is not as easy as it sounds, it comes with a lot of discipline and a sound state of mind. In today's time, it is hard to have a sound state of mind with all the wrong things happening around everyone. Yes, it's really hard to do it, but if you only do it that way, of course there are no other options to control yourself and also change your mindset to be healthier, at first it looks difficult but when you want to live it, everything will change slowly, nothing is impossible to cure our addiction against gambling let alone avoid gambling just by playing for fun to pass the time. Indeed no kind of addiction is impossible to cure unless the person has not really vehemently taking the decision to cure it. When the will is there, there will always be a way out no matter the level of addiction. There are so many testimonies of diehard gambler who later quit gambling and if we go through their testimonials we'll find out that there was a strong Will to stop before external help from families and colleagues started yielding positive results. Our resolve to end anything matters a lot before any other thing can follow.
The covid-19 pandemic period was a real booster to the increment in numbers of people using the online gambling casinos with the restrictions of movement barring people from attending physical gambling shops the online gambling became an alternative to which after the end of the pandemic the convenience and privacy of online casinos made many of the gamblers to see no need of continually using the physical casino shops.
The ugly side of online casinos Is how unnoticeable the convenience and comfort of it can lead to addictive tendencies and too much time spending gambling online, at times to the detriment and neglect of other important matters.
The network error today has been challenging in making replies and particularly new post. I'll add by saying if anyone has made a duplicated post due to the error experienced without knowing that the first post has already been posted despite the error messages but still continued refreshing not knowing it's making a duplicate.
Some people noticed the glitch and were able to control the way they posted. Just as the OP suggested, if you see such an error, you are supposed to check your profile and see if it was posted before you post it again to avoid duplicate posts. Well, good for those that were able to quickly noticed the glitch and know how to control it but what about the newbies in the forum ? Those that are having to experience this glitch for the first time since their membership in the forum. They may not have the know how to avoid the duplicate that some other person's did, except maybe they get an exposure about it like this very OP thread explains.
Harry Kane will not win any prestigious title if he stays loyal to Tottenham for long. Tottenham are a good team, but they have always struggled to win titles season after season for one reason or another. Sometimes the team's performance is good, but sometimes it's so bad that even though they can qualify for the Champions League in several seasons.
Agree. It is the fact that Tottenham never has a chance to win a title because they are always difficult to maintain good performance. Not sure what the real problem on Tottenham, they are actually strong enough and have some top players. But I assume Tottenham squad never become a deserve squad to win any title. Their defense and midfield line aren't strong enough to compete with strong teams like Man City, Arsenal, or even Man United. For the next season, they even aren't qualified for UCL or Europa league. Harry Kane must leave Tottenham if he wants to play in UCL. Harry Kane must be able to work up the courage to get out of his comfort zone at Tottenham. He should accept the consequences and care more about his future career instead of just being a Tottenham legend to be remembered. Harry Kane has made 435 appearances for Tottenham in various competitions and has scored 280 goals and 60 assists so far, but is still short on team titles.
Harry Kane has been a legend in Tottenham. So, he doesn't need to stay for a longer time to be a legend there. I also think playing in Tottenham is no longer his comfort zone because it never hits Kane's expectation. So, no reason for Harry Kane to stay more time, it is the right time to leave Tottenham in the current transfer window. I can't remember the last time Spurs played in the Champions League... Their best result was when they lost to Liverpool in the 2019 final... So you could say Kane has had good results with Spurs in the Champions League before, but not the best... Spurs are regularly at the top of the standings in the EPL, but England are very competitive... So yes, if Kane wants great results, he should change clubs... Since 2019 that's a long time to stay away from the UCL and it could have a great effect on Spurs performance in the UCL that they may not perform to expectation beyond the group stage. Indeed, Kane has contributed greatly to Spurs as a good striker which caught the interest of Pep Gardiola to seek for his services to Manchester City before the 2022/23 season, a move Kane rejected. This was what led to the move for Haaland from Dortmund by Gardiola. The bottom line is that, the right time for Kane to have left Spurs has elapsed if he really had any intentions of leaving. Cause from all indications Kane is ready to stay at Spurs to end his career there as a club legend.
Yes... ignoring is the best solution. But that doesn't mean I stop reading what he writes. I find that ambivalence amusing. How do you still want to read from someone you've ignored? That means they're a good read and you can't resist them 🤷 Or, just maybe he doesn't know why he had to click the ignore option in the first place and that tickles him at times whenever he comes across the very user, LoL. Like a necessary evil he just can't do away with. Ignoring the container but can't resist the content.
The betting agent didn't act professionally in this matter. How can he allow a gambler gamble on credit. Like who does that! Unfortunately if the gambler refuse to repay the debt then the agent would have to bear the cost for his unprofessional indulgence to allow a gambler repeatedly gamble to such amount. This is what addiction can cause, unsatisfactory and uncontrollable gambling habit, not knowing when to stop even when there's no money to continue gambling.
Going by the storyline, it's obvious the CEO has a foresight. He must have done his research very well to have invested in BTC confidently as at that time 2013. When we wants to make certain decisions in life mostly those that would affect our future we need not seek validations from third parties but rather be independent in making decisions particularly financial decisions like this cause their views can be discouraging and frustrating which is exactly what the CEO associates were trying to do but good for him he gave a deaf ears.
How many of you are getting this messages? I bring this on this forum because it's nothing new to me, the motive behind this is to confuse new crypto investors that they mistakenly send you this picture.
Now, if you are very greedy like how many people are, you will want to import one of these seed into a wallet, hoping you will find one or two coins in the wallets.
And guess what? Such wallets always have coins in them, if they are empty how will you even think of sending ETH as gas fee into these wallets to move out the coins that's never yours?
The fact here is the wallets are wired to move out any deposited amount automatically once you send ETH into the wallets.
Moral lesson of the day
- Why are you even trying to claim what's not yours? You never hustle or work for this and you want to steal from someone else hustle, this is a very bad habit, it means if someone mistakenly send you a BTC or two you won't ever think of sending them back, there are good examples of people that return BTC mistakenly sent to them to the rightful owners, be a good example.
- Do not consider yourself lucky because People don't go online displaying their seeds, even new unpopular crypto wallets will warn you the first time you try to create a new wallet, to never share your seed with anyone, so if you come across any seeds online, it is intentional, to lure Greedy people.
Some people mistake greed for luck just to justify their unacceptable behavior forgotten that whatever you wouldn't want another to do onto you same should you not do to another. If someone mistakenly send you a token that doesn't belong to you, fair enough you should rather see it as an opportunity to do good by sending back such token to the rightful owner. Scammers prey one our greed by eluding us with figures that doesn't exist. I do receive such messages on my telegram, just this year I have received about two or more from different channels. Knowing fully well that lucks like that doesn't exist in the crypto world I just ignore them by deleting. If newbies could develop the culture of ignoring certain messages relating to mistakenly-sent-tokens from social media platforms they would really be saving themselves from much troubles from scammers.
I don't think I care to know who ignores me, it's their decision and so be it. For anyone to ignore me he might have a personal reason and I don't care asking why except maybe it affects me negatively somehow.
I remember ignorantly clicking the ignore option on one if the forum user at first when I was still very new to the forum, each time I came across the very user I don't seem to see his posts available to my viewing, not until I discovered the unignored option out of curiosity and clicked on it that was how I came to know the use of the ignore option. But I think it's useful as a way to avoid certain users you feel the need to.
Lack of education, technical knowledge, and awareness has been the major challenge for Bitcoin enthusiasts, it is high time we kick-start the mass eradication of Bitcoin illiteracy in our society, preach about Bitcoin, but don't force it on anyone,
The adoption of bitcoin is one of a gradual process and can't say there's no meaningful progress sofar, like the internet when it was first established there were many contention with not much acceptance and usage by many but almost everyone under the sun makes use of the internet in different ways. So bitcoin adoption by all, it's all a function of time. Educating on bitcoin doesn't necessarily need to be on the technical aspects, in as much as a person can do bitcoin transaction, knows how to secure his private keys safely that's alright. Except for those that wants to go professional with bitcoin in terms of the different areas of specialist concerned with cryptocurrency.
Our history of posts indicates that many of us are active contributors to the gambling board. We engage in discussions about various aspects of gambling, including sports betting, different casino games, and even stories, whether real or fictional. The topic of gambling addiction has been extensively covered, to the point where one could compile a short book on the subject just from our discussions. We have also shared our opinions and insights on gambling strategies. Considering all of this, I would like to ask: - Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?
- Has it aided you in overcoming gambling addiction (if you were addicted) or developing healthier gambling habits?
- Have you noticed an overall improvement in your gambling experiences?
Yes' my activeness in the gambling discussion section has aided me a lot on different ways I can gambling without losing out so much. Unlike before. The frequently discussed threads about gambling addiction is something that has stick as a reminder in my gambling engagements that I don't have to take this gambling thing beyond the normal. There should always be a limit to avoid addiction. Go through people's stories and the discussions that follows about the effect of gambling addiction on it's addicts has really built in a great level of consciousness in me about addiction to gambling. Others are: never chase your losses as it would lead to more loss. Don't try to outrun the house you can run it down.
As a newbie I have go through a lot and haven’t seen a concrete answer about this how can a bitcoin wallet be retrieved if it happens to be hacked by scammers or fraudsters how can the security team bitcoin do to helps with issues like this?
Wow a newbie that have read through a lot and yet doesn't know that there's nothing like security team bitcoin or a bitcoin security team whatever. Calm down mate, there's a lot you really need to learn by actually reading and not by saying you have gone (read) through a lot. As for a bitcoin wallet retrieval that's very unlikely to be successful especially when the funds has been ransacked but like other members had said, if you're lucky to meet some funds left in the wallet don't hesitate to transfer them to another safe wallet and let go of the hacked wallet as you may end up stressing yourself for nothing in the process of looking for ways to get back the hacked wallet/funds. This is the reason why we're always advised to be discreet with the security and privacy of our wallets cause cryptocurrency funds if lost the chances to retrieve is very slim or impossible.
For real, I have witnessed friends of my family and even family members win lotteries to live and work overseas. I don't see how badly thier lives has been lately except way better than the way it was when they left.
What just pains me is the fact that the lottery system is not as open as it used to be in those times. Money was paid for each time they tried, and yes, it was more than twice they tried.
I thought this was something patterning to only my country side. When I was young I used to hear about lottery Visa's to travel outside the country to places like America, Australia etc. There were lots of radio station jingles and TV adverts about these lotteries as at then and it helped a lot of people who had no financial hope of traveling outside the country to do so through a probable lottery win. These days we don't hear about them anymore it's like something that has gone into extinction here in my country and I wonder why? Or could it be that the sponsors of those lotteries are no more interested in the lottery games or the business just crashed overnight? I don't know.
when i was kids, i need to study very hard, to get a lot of score in the test. if i got a zero mark in a math test, i am very scare to go home and show the test paper to my mum.
when i am grown up, i have kids and wife now, i need to work very hard, to get a lot of money in the job. if i got a paycut, or i got fired, i am very scared to go home, i can't sleep well, my head is sweating, the memory of getting zero mark in a test keep haunting me like the nightmare, i need to go out and make a lot of money!!
tell me anything i need to do to make a lot of money. doesn't matter what, i would do anything to get all the money, even if it mean unlawful and unethical!
First, it's not right to do something wrong just to have a lot of money, someone as determined will do everything just to earn a living even though he's not used to it just for the sake of the people who depend on him he will do it even if it is difficult. Rather than doing something illegal that can harm you, if something bad happens to you, what if the people who depend on you are a bigger problem if you leave them. That's why it's still good to do good so you can reap good results. It's so disheartening seeing how OP is pouring out his frustration in a very uncontrollable manner, despite how sympathetic it seems, indulging in illegal activities as an option to make money isn't a welcome idea entirely. For him to have a job despite how underpaying it is, it then mean he's giving value and he should diversify such value by directing it to others areas of good sources of income through the internet, Google KDP for instance and numerous of others. If he's caught in the act of crime and convicted it's most definitely that the very family he thinks he wants to give a better life would rather be living in the opposite. OP needs to redefine his position for the sake of those he claims to care about.
