actual value (4.58 euro) is down by 91.07% from the maximum value reached on 04 Nov 2021 (51.22 euro). :O
this requires a lot of effort to regain the values. really a lot...

Even if I am taking some DOT in staking I am not sure that I will see again this value.
But meanwhile I am still staking so probably could be a nice option to gain some "dividend" waiting for a better value...

The project is interesting but much probably has been just "hyped" too much in the past ...
with this, I am not saying that is not a good investment but probably is not the better choice in this moment or for the long term.
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it scam/rugpull or not ($QUON token) ? on: January 10, 2023, 11:39:39 PM
@biyob92
can you provide more details? because it would be a scam, from which detail should one understand?
Just to understand what is the "smoking gun" or any hint related the scam...

in any case, the forum has an excellent index and anyone looking for information on this token will find this page but in general it is better to provide some details...

initially it seemed almost a joke reading the title ... but actually it is a nightmare situation neither more nor less.

if I remember correctly this happened in 2016 or 2017. I am glad she filed a lawsuit again and it is great that they made a good point on their lawsuit. I wonder how much did she get on the settlement. anyway, people need to fight back against casinos that do this. as far as I know, this is not the first a casino claims that their slot machine is broken or suffered a glitch and the winnings shown on the screen are not exactly what the gambler won.

in such a situation this is the right way to handle it... ask a professional help by a good law firm.

with a disclaimer like that, any casino/slot producer can void practically any winnings and it is useless to keep playing looking for big wins Wink
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 10, 2023, 12:17:56 PM
Is an interesting question and the answer is not trivial.

if you invest a substantial amount and dedicate a lot of time to this activity, it can become a full-time job, like any other job...

But you have to consider several aspects at least in the setup phase:
- study sports/events/team players/type of gambling/odds/websites
- have more internet lines to connect (can you risk having a connection problem during a live match?)
- possibility to travel and bet live in some events (therefore including food and lodging expenses, sports tickets)
- funds to bet with (you must have enough money to cover a wide range of matches)
- working at any time (even at night!) and having to follow dozens and dozens of sports news/updates etc
- betting software (like geek toys for betfair...)
- create various accounts on the various bookmakers, therefore bureaucratic procedures, etc
- manage taxes/fiscal aspects
other things to be counted on, like devices, office, general expenses...

In short, living off betting is a job like any other.
It requires experience, financial investments, investments in terms of time...isn't easy at all, achieving a result requires a lot of effort

It's always recommend to use the basic report for scam accusations:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Meanwhile, have you tried to contact their customer service and see what is reason you're banned?
have you followed their "TOS" ?
NOOB question...maybe you've done something wrong (like cheating, multiple accounts ...)? Roll Eyes

If you think you have been scammed, create a complaint with "Ask Gamblers"

it has been suggested also by them in another scam accusations...

2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP, I want betting/gambling tokens in crypto portfolio for 2025 on: January 09, 2023, 02:33:44 PM
there is a specific reason that drive you to create a portfolio like this? I mean, you're doing for "profit" or just for some nice experiment?
You can invest in some of these tokens has other users have highlighted. Have a look also for this topic here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406098.0
I think you can find some interesting hint for your strategy but after I have seen some big collapse like "betking" I would don't invest in token like this but only buying "the classic" bitcoin Wink

2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Are Players Going To Trust Casinos If They Don't Show Solid Evidence on: January 08, 2023, 06:40:15 PM
There are accusations that have or cannot be resolved because they always ended up with your words against their words, players show screenshots of your proofs and even take up or accept KYC but in casinos cases, they just hold on to their words that the player has cheated, manipulated or exploited a bug without showing strong evidence like screenshots of the log they just hiding in their defense that they cannot show proofs and add further to protect the integrity of their platform, so the accusations remain open.
Many casino's defenses are like that.

most of accusations I have seen in the past years made to "famous" casinos, are clearly scam attempts made by players that shown only a part of what really happens.

some casinos are just speculating on this, and they are using their TOS and other stuffs as a way to not paying users and find a lot of issues to deny payment. but this happens only with casino that have a bad reputation...
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitbollo betting advice ---> free bettings tips [Profit 2022 = 0.001712 btc] on: January 08, 2023, 06:23:25 PM
The year is over and the topic has been just updated.
It was not the best year for me Wink and probably I am not already one of the best tipster around here Roll Eyes  Shocked
What I see as "positive" is that I have reached even this year a + positive profit that isn't easy at all.
What I see as "negative" is the lowest percentage I have ever won Sad (check first post with previous year/basic information about the topic)...

Good luck to all gamblers for this 2023!

2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 08, 2023, 06:19:26 PM
Well, this is an interesting question since I take count of some of my bets
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234109.msg12848315#msg12848315
since some years, and I have just updated this topic!

Starting from a base of 0,001 btc I have collected this year 0.001712 btc as profit.
this year has been concluded with a sign + 170% from the starting amount.

But respect the previous years I have done seriously bad Roll Eyes (987,5% and 2190% as profit in the last 2 years...)

Having less time for bet and also less interest leads to such kind of results. I don't know If I will able to have a better performance, even to keep the topic alive...

By the way I think that I can rate my luck as 51. Not bad at all, but I can made for sure much much better...  Cool
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 08, 2023, 09:13:18 AM
Good gamblers must know that "there is not real luck" but on only statistics / math rule that can be applied on your gambling games.
Ok maybe there are some times when you feel to be "lucky" and you're winning more of the "normal" chance, but you cannot real take advantage on this since it's just based on casualty. Not more, not less.

For sure applying martingale is a destructive option for bet, " you will loss more trying to recover your previous loss".

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5375499.msg58627080#msg58627080

I have suggested here a game based on blockchain where the game isnt directly related to deep wallet but Is more related to luck on blockchain and smart moves (likewise you have around the time of "one block" to decide to play the game, moreover there Is a limit of expense...)

Coming back on topic, the game Is serious extreme since there no limit. I like the idea , from a certain point of view Is "Amazing"... But the end of the game Is always the same since this Is not "ability" or "luck" based game but .... wallet size game Wink
2599  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Auction - Bid on a prize where 98% of each bid is added to the prize. on: January 07, 2023, 09:22:14 AM
....

The solution to the abuse that you mention is to allow user to create a private room which only invited players can bid on the auction that they made. This way they can limit whales to enter the game.

here too, there could always be the problem of a whale.
you organize yourself with other players (perhaps a multi-signature portfolio) and you are sure you have a large portfolio to play with.
but then, I wouldn't see the use-case in such a game.
...
I take a group of friends and we compete to see who has the most money to spend on a game? I don't know it's sound seriously boring to me ...
