Yes I'm convinced that many altcoins will die osomeday. You might ask why and my answer is simple, because many projects have basically no use case at all while some are not even brought forward anymore due to a lack of developers or other reasons.... It's honestly just crazy to see that some of those projects are valued in the millions without even having delivered a single thing on their roadmap. It's nothing else than pure speculation by some people that keeps those tokens alive. That being said I sometimes question the investment skills of some people within the cryptosphere. I mean why the hack would you put any money into thin air? Into something that doesn't even exist neither show any progress on github after all? I personally am therefore only investing into products that show some progress and are actively engaging with the community about it. What's your approach on selecting the tokens you put your money on?
yes, that's for sure. but you are too pessimistic I do not think all crypto will grow and can survive. that's why every investor and a sword must be thoroughly meticulous and able to find a good crypto and deserve to be held in the long term. research, experience, insight and knowledge are the most important series in the crypto industry

Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?
of course, but not all crypto will have a good development in the long term. even more so on altcoin which does not have a good concept and its technology. this is what I have to do to earn and find in every option of speculation.

With the wide array of altcoins available in the crypto market, how do you choose which one to invest on, which one to buy and which of these altcoins worth holding?
Well, of course this is not easy, especially as you say, too much altcoin to be an option. so, your best choice should be to investigate and try to analyze.

I am having trouble to decide which coins i should invest in and it seems ETH is one of the most successful coins right no.
Should i invest on ETH or focus on other coins instead?
Let me know your opinion.
ethereum has always been the best choice compared to other altcoin according to my analysis. but for now, it would be nice just to wait until the moment is appropriate to buy it.

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
I don't believe, because I think celebrities are only part of the ico campaign scenario to attract many investors. and this has happened in some cases ico being a scam. most likely celebrities will not be interested in the world of crypto is quite complicated to learn in a short time.

Can someone be punished or sent to jail just by holding bitcoin in banned country? What will happen in case of trading bitcoin in country where bitcoin is banned?
I do not think that as you say, every country has different jurisdictions about the prohibition and the type of law. especially on crypto and bitcoin. not true if someone has bitcoin will be in jail if not criminal act.

What do you people think about the future of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in India under the current government policies? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) possibly for now and the next few years India will not intend to make policy on cryptocurrency industry. perhaps the policy has reached the final of the ban. but we will never know what happens later

Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.
What do you mean ? have not you seen bitcoin have dominated the market for more than a decade more. is not that a very accurate fact. I think bitcoin will remain the king of all crypto

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
I think what you are discussing is a misnomer, because bitcoin will not be possible to set. but if there is any regulation in the crypto trade, ico project, I strongly agree, for the prevention of useless ico projects even that are alleged at the scam level.

If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now. Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
I think there have been many economists who predict like him, even jp morgan earlier predicted it. but in fact, until now bitcoin persists and survives from various situations and attacks to weaken its value. do not forget, bitcoin has survived more than a decade.

Many countries think that Bitcoin is harmful for their country. They think that Bitcoin will create inflation in their country. But is that right? Will Bitcoin never get all the legitimacy?
I think you are too inconsequential. bitcoin is not dangerous specifically for any country that prohibits it. but rather for the prevention of things that are abused by irresponsible people. such as terrorist financing, money laundering, drugs and scams.

Hello, Im new to the Crypto world and wanted to hear some advice from the pro's on where to start. i havnt purchased any coins yet, but i have been using coinpot and various faucets. I was wondering if i should keep going with this or is it a waste of my time. Also they say theres no fee for converting coins, but i dont get the same conversion rate as i do on the coinmarketcap calculator. Basically id like to hear from the professionals maybe a strategy for really small trades, or that this is a waste of time and buy some coins with my hard earned money and go from there lol. and if thats the case, where to go. im in Canada by the way, if that helps. Thanks for any help you can offer me. I hope to get more active in the forums and meet great/smart people along the way Matt I think you can engage deep in the crypto industry, there are many options you can do to find every advantage and opportunity. but they are not easy and simple, especially if you do not intend to spend money as an investment tool. but I think you can start from the basics of the vast knowledge in the crypto industry.

the market performs its duties as a place of sale and purchase transactions. so, what happens when the decline is commonplace is common. I guess depending on you can find a gap of any setbacks. and look no sooner then the green market returns.

The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.
The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.
It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.
Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.
The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.
Face up to reality, the party is over.
what is the meaning of this discussion? can not you make sure bitcoin still has a high selling price value even though the decline always happens this year. what happened in the year 2017 december ago is the phenomenon and the impact of the correction plus the prohibition. so it's perfectly natural if that happens. and the market will not always grow high. you should know that. and essentially, bitcoin has gone through a decade more and persisted.

government that prohibits bitcoin in some countries. If the government can accept the existence of bitcoin there are some important points in it: * can pay off the "debt" of the country * Improve the economy of the people * Decrease in poverty level I want to know what you think.
I think you are too naive and silly. how could it possibly happen, if that was possible. many countries have adopted bitcoin. in short, it's not as simple as you think, in essence, the value of bitcoin is very fluctuating, and it's what a country fears because it's not like paper currency.

Any one From India?
Is it true that Cryptos will be banned in India??
Do we have to Pay taxes to Indian Govt. For keeping Cryptos
I think this problem has passed, and yes India has banned bitcoin just like china. but currently bitcoin does not have a problem with it. see, bitcoin still has a great value despite several times the correction and accident occurred.

I have participated in a bounty campaign and received my tokens. After few weeks, the price of the altcoin went down. Does it really happen? At first, the price is high, but goes down over time. How will I determine of the price will go down or up? Any tips? Thanks!
you can not specify, crypto trade that makes the price rise or fall. buyers and sellers. thus, the market that makes the circulation role in asset turnover, up or down. you just need to seek knowledge about trading.

Crypto has gained a significant value in recent time. And I have seen some people who have been able to wash out their miserable by trading in crypto. In this point I believe crypto has the value than can remove poverty from a country. What is your thought?? Have you seen anyone who have been rich by Crypto??
no, not like what you say. poverty is the problem of a nation and a state that is responsible for it. some people get rich on the investments they make in the crypto industry and that's perfectly natural. there are many and varied benefits that you can get. but the problem is, knowledge, experience, education and capital become unity in engagement in the crypto industry.

nowadays there are so many ico, it is quite difficult to research everything and it is almost impossible to do. I think the risk level of investing in ico is so great today. because there are many ico who do not plan according to white paper and early scenario. so, the choice in ico should be more careful again especially on ico which gives big bonus
