2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 09, 2022, 10:37:55 PM
The PBA made it clear that there will be no games this month as the number of cases is rising daily due to omnicron. They certainly didn't had a choice but to put an indefinite halt to the games even if would cost them money rather than risking the safety of peope and players.
This news may sadden us as we already expected that we can watch these said games live this year, but an unfortunate event happened.
Let's hope that these infections caused by omnicron will cease by February.

Unfortunate fuc*king things really happened and PBA was left with no choice. The Governors Cup might be canceled for good rather than suspend if no good changes will happen for the following days and weeks. If it takes too long, it will spoil the PBA timeline on which the All-Filipino Cup opening should be around March or something that since it's a new year, it will be a new season already.

If that happened, sadly we won't able to see the competition for the best imports at the Finals. Like to see NLEX on Semis or Finals for a change. It will be a sorry run for them as KJ McDaniels is playing at his best.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 09, 2022, 10:26:45 PM
Quite surprised to see how huge Magsayo is as an underdog against Russell. Do the sport bookies didn't consider Mark's record and experience + Russell long lay off?

Not surprising to see Magsayo @3.8 as I think that was already expected. What I was surprised by is the @1.2 for Russell. I know and there's no doubt he is the Favorite to win on that match but @1.2 is considered already as a sure win. My guess is @1.6 at least.

Fortunately, it was a good odds as a biased bettor here. Eyeing someone to win while getting a chance to bet at high odds.

Do the sport bookies didn't consider Mark's record and experience + Russell long lay off?

Russell is definitely do have a large distance against all of Magsayo's previous opponent. He's the challenger here.

I think that long-lay off won't be a basis but how good Russell defended that belt for about 6 years.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 09, 2022, 10:11:55 PM
Just don't expect too much though, he obviously still needs to get back to playing condition and it's definitely not easy having been out for 2+ years.

Contrary to all feedbacks that he will find his rhythm first, I'm thinking the other way. I'm expecting him to be in his usual shape and form once returned. The reason is simple, his mindset was already prepared for long that's why no need to find that rhythm as it's already there. I also don't think he will have a limited playing time. I guess he will play around 30 mins. on tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Before anything else, let's see then later what he got after a long hiatus.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 09, 2022, 09:39:36 PM
Personally, I believe that if a person spends no more than $100 a month on gambling is the first sign that he does not have a gambling addiction and is quite able to control their budget. It happens that I spend $200 on gambling but I always split this amount into two different deposits and do not allow myself to spend more than $100 per day.

I truly believe that the amount has nothing to do to determine if a person is already addicted or not. Being addicted is usual but the difference is, there's a thing called responsible and irresponsible addiction. There are gamblers who lose more money than we imagined but despite of it, they are still on themselves.

Regardless of the amount spent in a given period, even how low it is, the addiction will be noticed by the gambler's action outside the gambling world. Like always irritated, skipping work, skipping meals, selling stuff even unnecessary, taking loans, borrowing money from family, close friends, etc.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 08, 2022, 07:59:17 AM

Not that special or big deal to others but aside from the Los Angeles Lakers getting a win against the Atlanta Hawks, LeBron James now enters the Top 10 All-Time in Career Steals. That kind of record is a tough job to work on. Chris Paul and Lebron James are the only active players on the Top 10 where the former sits at the 5th spot. Aside from that, Lebron James now surpasses Michael Jordan as the oldest player to record 10 straight 25+ points in a game. The hell they were able to record that lol.

LeBron James enters top 10 all-time in career steals
At 37, LeBron is the oldest player in NBA history to have 10 straight 25-point games. He passes Michael Jordan, who did it at age 34.
2586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 08, 2022, 07:32:29 AM

Mikey Garcia share his thought about the fight. Clearly, he thinks Errol Spence has the advantage because of style but like Shawn Porter's own view regarding the fight, he also believes that Ugas has a chance to make an upset. That's how they looked at Ugas, unlike others that underestimated him.

These boxers know well each other and somehow I like to refer to their own view We will wait for some expert boxing analysis from popular ones then from there, let's compare their fearless forecast.

Errol Spence Jr has been warned his unification bout with Yordenis Ugas is a 'dangerous fight'.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 07, 2022, 11:34:32 PM
people are on the street because they are all busy watching the game like even if they are only watching it on television they really support their boxers.

That was because local big TV stations are airing the fight of Manny Pacquiao in prime time. Unfortunately, not all PH boxers are having that kind of treatment by the big stations here because of an obvious reason that it needs to be a big fight for more advertisements to come.

I hope the odds dis not below 1.60, that would already convince me to bet on Ancajas to win.

I think the odds for Ancajas won't be below that 1.60.

It's not that his opponent has no chance. I even think that it will be in the range of @1.7-1.8.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 07, 2022, 11:25:48 PM
I hate to say this, but I'm eager to see a Casimero vs Inoue fight and skip this fight instead lol.

As much as we want to witness it, not possible as many things happened by now. Right now, Casimero needs to finish all challenges on the way for a chance to have a bout against Inoue soon. He should also not release any ETA in advance to the public and let the organizers handle it. His camp should just be silent too whenever there's an ongoing negotiation on their target and just announce everything when all are officially settled. Basically, no spoiler alert lol.
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 07, 2022, 11:17:22 PM
I'm really curious about what method you use to generate these wins, and whether you are up on the year in aggregate?

What do you mean by method to generate those wins? It's a parlay bet and analysis is not enough to win at those. If you see the odds, OP even included an odds of @2 that's why I'm also amazed at what he did. Maybe there are lots of losses on the way but a win is a win.

OP mentioned his Telegram and we already know what's next on it. If you want to see more of his bets, maybe he will offer some free picks. As always, you should already know the drill when it comes to that.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you have a chance to become a VIP what casinos will those be on: January 07, 2022, 11:10:04 PM
Honestly, I'm not a VIP of any gambling sites I'm playing but every casino has perks and premium giveaways for their VIP, if I'm going to target one or two casinos for me to become a VIP what casinos will they be, named at least two casinos and your reasons.

A solid and reputable like Stake will be my choice. Reading just their VIP page, what else can we look for? https://stake.com/vip-club

However, a tough road before reaching that. I will just go with the flow and someday I will find what's behind this statement:

"As you unlock all of them you’ll quickly realize why our VIP treatment is very different from anything you’ve seen before.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 07, 2022, 11:04:20 PM
Correct me if I am wrong but is this the first time this regular season that Warriors had back-to-back losses? It looks like they are not as deep as we thought they would be They don't have Curry and Green in their game against NOP but their starting line up was still decent. Ingram just outperformed Wiggins.

Yes, that's their first time back-to-back road loss this season. They are currently not complete and almost all are having an off-night performance. Let's give them an appreciation though that even despite the lack of their main scorers, they are trying to hold on until the last minute. They even got the game close with only seconds remaining.

If the Pelicans are having a hard time with these Warriors lineup, I'm seeing them no chance if Steph played.

Yeah, Steph is definitely tired and the Warriors need to be make sure that he is well rested before going into the playoffs.

There's no such thing as Curry being tired lol. The dude got injured and that's it.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 07, 2022, 10:51:45 PM
We always read the words "Don't bet more than you can afford to lose", but are we really following that safe principle in gambling?

In my case, it's not that a decent amount that sometimes I'm putting at my bet is I afford to lose but whenever I feel it and do think that the chances of my winning are high, I'm really a risk-taker.

So, I have a question here, if you are earning like $2000 a month, how much are you willing to gamble that you think you can afford to lose?
Please use the amount as a basis for your answer.

Based on the given amount, for example, it still depends on how much I want to want to put in on a given bet. Let's say for example, I was attracted by good odds, I'm willing to bet up to $100 on it regardless of my capital.

I don't have the principle of betting just the amount I afford to lose. I will bet at any amount and besides, I'm always serious at my analysis.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 06, 2022, 11:25:59 PM
Then, the rest of the teams will see the freedom to do the same. And this might end up with a terrible thing. Covid-19 might affect the players more seriously.

I doubt the majority of players will follow. If that's the case then it should happen long ago now when Irving's drama started. Even before the current NBA season commence, it was stated that 85-90% of players are already vaccinated. It means regardless of whether these players like to be vaccinated or not, they choose to get a shot to make everything fair and square. Irving also is not being paid during the times he is skipping games as per the report and I'm sure most players won't like that consequence.

New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and Golden State Warriors are the local states that require a vaccinated person to be eligible to play any sports.

Brooklyn Nets will return home on their next game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Let's see if Irving will be allowed to play on that game.
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 06, 2022, 11:23:24 PM
I'm also checking the betting odds from time to time but it doesn't show anything online, it only means the we cannot expect it soon and most likely it will be out as the fight is approaching like a day or two. Most Filipinos will go for Ancajas, so I will not go the other way.  Smiley

Should be expected as usual.

Odds will be released once the fight is almost closed to date. First, the general odds in fiat sportsbook which should be released at least a week before the scheduled fight then expect at least a day or two for crypto sportsbook.

For now, we can refer to some boxing gurus and analysts regarding their fearless forecast about the odds but for reference purposes only.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 6 Rare Metaverse Coins Under $0.6 on: January 06, 2022, 11:19:48 PM

I have only WAXP on the list with TLM as a side dish lol. Seems like a good choice for me as there are lots of Metaverse and DAPPS that use the WAX protocol.

Not hyping nor shilling the coin but just want to share my insights. The only problem I'm dealing with WAXP is the continuous high CPU usage problems with some of their DAPPs. That requires another round of staking of WAX to be able to continue using that specific DAPPs.
2596  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 06, 2022, 11:05:03 PM
This means that investing in Bitcoin is safe, there is no need to worry if the price drops.

That can't be applied to average people. A good plan should always be associated not just by holding and waiting for the moon price but some actions that will turn the bearish market into an advantage. Bitcoin is no doubt a good investment for long and no question about that, but it doesn't mean we can't take advantage of other coins during the bear market. With the right timing, we can also profit from other coins due to the fact, their price is swinging at most cases playing within a specific general average price.

It might be hard or challenging but with focus and seriousness, better than waiting without doing anything.
2597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 10:57:27 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

If you anticipate that the market will go down, for now, decide for yourself if you want to sell all your cryptos now. It's not totally wrong if you sell for now if you are thinking of another buyback at some point later on. Regardless of what is happening today, a bull market will always be bound to happen but it's just a matter of "when".

No one can tell you what's the best thing to do as we have different approaches to what is currently happening in the market.

That will be your homework.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: January 06, 2022, 10:53:03 PM
^ They are those investors that want to gamble their money, win or lose they are willing to accept what will be the circumstances that may occur in the future. For me, investing in meme coins is pure gambling and you are not an investor in this way because you put money at high risk. Investing short-term is a must on this dogecoin because the possible the price could be drop again right after there is a correction.

Actually, others may consider it as pure gambling but Dogecoin currently does have good market liquidity and daily volumes are good, making it one of the worthy coins to be traded on a short-term basis. As we all know, regardless of the coin status, traders like to play at some coins which are actively trading in a high volume. Of course, like our approach on other coins, trade it at your own risk and don't ever treat these meme coins as having a good use-case. It should be only for trading purposes.
2599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elsavador President Predicting $100,000 Bitcoin price looks like another joke on: January 06, 2022, 10:49:05 PM
He can have his opinion but as a president he cannot give out these highly optimistic narrative to his citizen which he does not have any control over the market and has no idea how the market moves.

I got the picture but it's should be up for people whether they will buy any prediction or not. I'm expecting that since crypto, specifically bitcoin, is highly recognized in that country, being the first one to accept it to be used in exchange for goods and services, at least the majority of their citizens should already know the drill.

A $100,000 target should always be considered as a pure prediction and speculation, not a thing that will happen accurately or exactly on a given date or year. There should be no crybabies if that price didn't achieve last year as I don't see any reason why some people should end up like that.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: January 04, 2022, 11:59:17 PM
Unfortunately Stake still has not adressed my issue, they ignore me on mail, ignore me on this forum, and they are also ignoring the third party complaint. Don't know what to do.  Huh

I know there should be an action that Stake should do as part of their commitment to their users but I can't just imagine that, is it only the Stake's action that will solve all this matter? They are not addressing the issue and you claim that they are ignoring you for several days but why still wait on their response instead of moving forward. Don't allow yourself to be stuck on that. I mean, no money was involved in pending status or on-hold.

You can still stay away from gambling even without waiting for Stake's response.
