2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 16, 2017, 05:21:25 PM
I gamble for fun. I don't really think that you should go gambling for profit because it will make you greedy. It can also ruin your life. It's better if you'll just enjoy it and have fun.

Really it is better, but we came in gambling not only for fun wise, a lot of things are here around us to get fun and entertainment. But most attractive thing in gambling and that is Money. But it is good that you are playing gambling because of fun and i believe one day will come when gambling will change your thinking and than you play gambling because of profit and fun.

Although we gamble for the sake of fun only, but we must remain vigilant because the possibility of changing the mind is always there. Temptation will always accompany our gambling activities!
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 16, 2017, 01:41:42 PM
At first, there's nothing wrong with gambling. But after more and more people got broke or faced bad result because of it, gambling started to get bad image. According to common view, gambling is wrong!
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 16, 2017, 12:57:46 PM
For most of people it's much hard to accept the lose on online gambling casino every time we got cheated by that casino. That is big reason which keep to chase our lose and in the end got addiction. This kind of thinking is really big problem and that is why so we see people crying while playing.

Accepting lose is never been easy to all of us. We have different levels of pride, there are gamblers that can easily accept defeat. But for some there are that can hardly accept it. Before it is one of the reason why I'm coming back, it's pushing myself to recover my lose and there is something telling in my mind that I shouldn't accept defeat.
It's a human nature.. losing is really hard to accept no matter what game we play. It really sometimes treat them as a form  demotivation so that's why people don't really accept being a loser. Good thing you were able to recover yourself from chasing your loses. It's really not a good behavior in gambling because you will not really ended up well and recover everything.

It will pull you down when you are feeling down and especially when you lost a big amount. It's hard to accept it, you'll do whatever it takes to recover that amount because you will think and regret it most of the time. And once you are not comfortable about that lose, it will always trigger you to get back again and again.
Precisely, they are triggered to get back again because they wanted to retrieve their loses on playing gambling. And we must avoid that minset because that will bring us from addiction and deplition of our money. We should always remind that gambling isn't the way to earn profit and play only the money thay we afford to lose.

We always want to retrieve our losses and it is happening most of the time. We can't control ourselves when we are starting to recognize our losses. There's nothing we are going to think but to recover it as soon as possible. And even it will take a lot of losses as long as we can recover that with a single blow.

That is really the start of the problem when people are chasing their losses. Most of the time, these people are driven by their emotions and can sometimes missed to realize that they are already losing big money out of chasing and hoping to win.

Chasing previous lost will involve another 'big money'. And the risk will be greater each time we try to cover our lost. At this point, our emotions will become less controlled, hence the chance to lose more and more while chasing previous lost will be high.

What a performance from Venus, I am very happy for her. She has had some distressing times off the court in the  last 18 months, not to mention her health problems. Yet here she is, at thirty freaking seven! Hard work and class always shine through.
Right , she got into some trouble too actually ( accident and stuff ) during the tournament but she is focused and her mental strength is amazing Smiley She is 37 and wow she is again into Wimbledon finals  and I hope she wins .

Venus proving that age is just a number. Heart break for the British fans and Konta, but Venus deserved to win this one. She just took apart Konta in straight sets. Venus won her first Wimbledon title in 2000..... that's a long time ago.

Well that really proved how venus play great with limitless strength all the way. If those british fans see the actual performance, they really can give up and let go that venus really deserved to win great. I guess that wins at fist of wimbledon brought a good experience which made venus a better player.

One more step for Venus to prove that in her age (37) she can still be a champion. I hope new history will be created after this match. Venus Williams became Wimbledon's oldest female champion ever.
2585  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, WAGERING COMPETITION, 15 prizes has started on: July 14, 2017, 11:21:46 PM
Tried YOLOdice just a while ago,

I was surprised with the speed of rolls in autobet even for low bet amounts. Is the speed the same for all bet amounts or do bigger amounts have better speed?

My username:

jamyr1

AFAIK, we will have a better speed if we play with 100 satoshi or more. And for the smaller amounts, there will be a little delay.
2586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2017, 05:49:04 PM
When people hold bitcoin, they hope that someday the price will rise several fold. But of course this requires extra patience. That's the most sensible reason in my knowledge.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Switching to Etherum on: July 14, 2017, 09:48:52 AM
It doesn't affect me at all. The way I am playing with btc when I started is still the same up to now no matter what the price is. I also don't have a plan to switch into altcoin gambling unless the low prio-fee in btc become 500ksats. Then I would think of switching to alt.

I don't use altcoins too but atleast there're a bunch of options we can pick if something bad happened with bitcoin itself. If the situation forces me to switch to other coins, I'll choose ethereum or litecoin.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: July 13, 2017, 08:22:56 AM
You can't control your greed when you let your emotion play. For example if you win a lot of btc you will said to yourself that it's time to stop now but your mind will continue playing and expecting to profit again but in the end you will lose. If you want to control your greed you must have stick to your guts. If you want to stop playing then you must do it, you must implement it and no more bets.

I suggest let the job done by a bot. You set your bot stop limit on loss and stop limit after getting a particular amount of profit too. No human hands means no mistake Cheesy

Using bot can be very helpful especially for person who tend to change their strategy whenever they faced unexpected result. I myself prefer to use it because I often change the strategy in the middle of my betting session when I play manually.
2589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2017, 04:39:39 PM
My plans with my bitcoin is simple. I keep my bitcoin some days. when bitcoin rat was high then I sell mu bicoin.

Hold bitcoin and wait for the price to increase is a good plan but we have to have a target. At what price will we sell our bitcoin? I do the same thing as yours and my target is 3k USD.
2590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 12, 2017, 03:45:53 AM
Even if you invested in bitcoin in the earlier days, you would of still needed to hold on to your investment before it turned into something that most people would consider "rich".

I knew bitcoin when the price still around 400 USD. I sold some bitcoins during that time and today I cursed myself. Why I didn't hold it for a bit longer. I could be rich by now if I sold all my bitcoins today. Indeed, to get rich isn't instant. We need to make the right decision and it can take time.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: July 11, 2017, 07:34:20 PM
We will know whether today is our lucky day or not after we finished our gambling actions for the current day. If we got good profit from our gambling actions that means we are lucky, vice versa. One thing for sure, we won't know whether we are lucky or not until we take one or more actions.

2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: July 11, 2017, 08:23:12 AM
What I think is whosoever steps into gambling definitely has money in his mind. I doubt that people start gambling for sole motto of fun. It is always money. I agree there are people who don't feel bad after losing. But that is different thing. Why he gambled at first place is because of winning some extra money. Money is always a driving factor in gambling.

Agree! Anyone who wants to do gambling always think of money even if they will say that its just for fun. To those who don't feel bad after losing money I think they are those people who are addicted in gambling and got used of losing so they just move on and try to play some other time hoping they will win.

Actually, we couldn't deny it that we play gambling for only Money, And if someone said that he is playing gambling not because of money, then we think he has already money and rich man, that's why he don't need to play gambling because of money. But i see in my gambling period that everyone want to play for money and secondly to win the bet and the last thing is that when we have lost our money then we want feel good to say that Gambling give us fun, and it is best sentence to satisfied our heart pain.

Agree, anyone will not be able to deny, gambling is made to make money. Most people who say they gamble for fun are because they have not succeeded to make money. So they say at least I had fun.

People who gamble for fun indeed needs money as well. They play with money and want to get money too. The different is, if they failed to get money from their actions, it won't give a serious impact to their overall financial. This will distinguish between gambling for fun and gambling as a source of income. As we know, mostly, people who did gamble as a source of income will do anything to get profit each time they gamble. They tend to ignore the fact that they can lose everything. That's why it's very common to see people being broke, homeless, etc because of gambling.
2594  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceMax.com || Jackpot || 0.99% House Edge || Instant Withdrawal on: July 11, 2017, 02:37:39 AM
The wagering contest prizes are really low even for the 1st prize at only 0.01 BTC, I don't think many players would be tempted to deposit to the site and take part in the wagering contest just for this small prizes, maybe the admin should consider raising the prizes to a higher amount if the site are really keen to attract big whales to play on the site.

Agreed, i saw other dice sites give huge prizes for weekly leaderboard, and attrack High Roller to the site. share total 0.5 btc will be very interesting Cheesy
This is the first wagering contest from dicemax. They start with low amount of prizes for such contest and I guess they will change it at the next contest after they evaluate the result from this first event. So, for me, there's nothing wrong with the prizes. Meanwhile, I myself, not too interested on wagering event.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 10, 2017, 05:12:59 PM
Both are the same really, both lose you tons of cash. As far as I am concerned there is no difference. When you trade, you gamble that the price of the coin you are trading will move in a particular direction. If it does, fine, you win. If it goes against you, not good, you lose. How is this different from gambling?

In trading, when the price moved against us, we aren't lose yet, as long as we still hold our coin ( we don't sell it ). We still have a chance to gain profit if in the future the price will move up again.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: July 10, 2017, 11:55:29 AM
I used to do gambling, but in the end I regret and do not want to do it again. I lost a lot of money in a very short time. On some occasions I may want that this does not happen. So this game just rely on luck and there is no certainty even though we have the expertise and experience a lot.

The games are meant to make you lose. So even if you have a lot of experiences or consult some expertise, you will still likely to end up losing. With some methods, maybe you can win in some occassion but in the long run, you will still end up losing overall. That is the power of probability.

Yes it is. The longer you, the more chances of losing. I red some articles about that, in the forum of primedice. Someone explain why HR (High Rollers) make a new account to gamble again, because the more you rolls have rolls in your account, the higher chance of losing everything in your bank roll.

Sorry for my english, Im not good enough to constract a good sentence.

Changing account doesn't change anything regarding our luck. But yes, I saw some people did it. It just a superstition for me. About the worst moment, I made a bunch of mistakes in the past but none is serious.

What will happen if the 12billionth bet isn't a bitcoin roll?
Will the prize be in btc still?

If you hit 12 billion bets with altcoins that means you will get the minimum prize, it is 0.01 BTC! And for the lucky rolls, you have to play with bitcoin ( min 0.00001 BTC ), otherwise your entry won't be count.

How if the bet with altcoin has higher value than 0.00001btc? Example, the 12 billionth bet is 5000 doge (equal to 45k satoshi) ? Does this bet also only deserve for the minimum prize?

Based on the rules, there's no conversion being stated. So, I guess, no matter how much your bet in altcoins was, you will get the minimum prize. But, as we all know, Baryom is a very flexible person, maybe he will make another policy if such cases happened.

For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling?

Like the Magic Bottle?  Cool

I prefer to lit a cigarette to get a better feeling when I faced such a bad result on gambling. I never aware if there's a medicine to control our impulsive gambling. Little break can change my mind.

2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: July 09, 2017, 02:58:14 PM
The possibility to get profit in the long term is exist, but the chance is too low. Only few people will get it and most of gamblers tend to get negative profit in the long term. Although professional poker players will not win forever. There's another sky above the sky!
