2581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe Bitcoin Downloads Website? on: October 19, 2015, 03:22:12 AM
I don't understand. Which applications? All of the Bitcoin software you can download from official Web sites. You can check them for viruses on www.virustotal.com.

You can also check all of the Sha hashes provided with Sha calculator. In this way you can be sure that the hashes match and that nobody has messed with the softwares.

ok thank you ..I thought about a serious plattform like filehippo for Bitcoin Software (Wallets, Trading, etc)
but virustotal will help, too Smiley

Wallets? I don't recommend to download it from any other places except the official website.
Beware of thoses apps even in phone always check for the official publisher name before downloading.

You get shocked for 6 dollars?
If I knew I had to buy Yovi when it stopped to be "ROM" and when it was down to 200 satoshi, now it's about 81000 satoshi's each, I would have been milionair.
Pff saw it too and i don't know why I didn't bought it...
Yobit Will make it normal again? When?

@OP why you are so happy for few bucks?
2584  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cuban Forces in Syria to aid Assad on: October 19, 2015, 12:36:55 AM
An unconfirmed report from an unspecified source confirmed by an unnamed official and only on Fox. After a Cuban deal opposed by Republicans a story like this emerging on Fox is hardly surprising.
All the media nowadays report the same... Few of them are trustable so you better try to find the different point of view/ the opposite idea and then it is up to you to trust what seems to be the ''truth''.
2585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 19, 2015, 12:30:38 AM
i feel like bitcoin is already getting fairly popular even without advertising because it is just so great. "great things don't need advertising"
It is popular yes & no.
Many people till now don't know what is bitcoin and how it works and the majority won't get a chance to know it without our intervention.
I hope that every bitcointalk.org member put the bitcoin video in his YouTube or share his story about btc.
If anyone is a member of another forum he could definitely ask there if they ever heard about bitcoin... etc

Like that we will have more and more users and btc will be widely accepted  Smiley

You've been here for a while now and you still don't know the rules?

This explains it properly. No exceptions for single ratings.
What about a person randomly spam/leave a negative trust to many members?
I mean for example a user come in this topic and give all of us a negative trust writing: ''he took 1000btc  without returning it'' and repeat the same sentence for more than 10 members.
Should we report him?  Or just neglect him since he will not affect our trust points?

I think China cannot join now. US  is planning something on china's built islands.

The Americans will just sit back and watch. They don't have the balls to attack China. Even if China is going to invade some of the allies of the United States (such as Japan, Philippines, or Taiwan), I really doubt whether the Americans will do anything. The Chinese government doesn't value the lives of its citizens. If a China vs US battle happens for real, then the Chinese will continue the war even if 100 million of their citizens perish. But the same can't be said about the United States.
You can add another 0 to the 100 millions, it is the same for them.  Sad
2589  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had a time machine... on: October 18, 2015, 07:11:53 PM
What will you do if you had a time machine that could go to the past and the future. But you can only use it once. (ie. you can't take the time machine with you)?

Be sure not to end up in the past with notes printed in 2014... Cheesy
For me maybe go back few years later at the beginning of Bitcoin.

2591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cuban Forces in Syria to aid Assad on: October 18, 2015, 06:44:04 PM
They are just training with the Russians and learn how to use new weapons. Finally Cuba won't win anything if Assad remain in position or get kicked from it...

2593  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MMM Global Republic of BTC - Sergei Mavrodi ponzi scheme! Stay away on: October 18, 2015, 07:53:09 AM
They try to attract users by pretending that they don't hold the money so they can't steal it... Read a little about it few hours ago besides their website is aweful!

2596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 18, 2015, 04:11:56 AM
I was surprised when i saw the prize today at 270$ level
i hope it gets higher to 300$ or more but my worries if it goes down to 200$ like the last time in which many starts panicking and selling their money..
2597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recomended client for Android on: October 18, 2015, 04:03:45 AM
Blockchain.info is definitely not a choice in both security and UI wise. There was a issue which affected the RNG on it, causing lots of BTC getting lost. It wasn't fixed for several months till it gained some attention. Arguably, other wallets are also as userfriendly as it is. The currencies is not much of a feature, any wallet can display the Bitcoins in many currency accurately.
But now it is fixed so no need to worry tho? Never saw this before...

Coinbase isnt bad too with no fees.
Blockchain.info had a HUGE and bad record with various vulnerabilities due to their negligence, costing users lots of money. I don't have any reason to believe that they are changing with so much issues popping out (Mostly due to the poor RNG).

Coinbase is a shared wallet and you do not control any money unless you use multisig vault. They can still freeze your money.
Clear.
If you have a big amount better to put it in a cold storage but with small transactions i still prefer the no fee option risking to loose few mBTC.
Thanks for your answer iram  Smiley
2598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any female BitcoinTalker around you? on: October 18, 2015, 03:53:02 AM
I don't know anyone using btctalk around me.
And for women it seems they get interested in the material stuff, they should see and touch it to be reassured that it is real and worthy... but let's admit that the number of bitcoin users isn't that big for the moment.

Just complete the sentence with your thoughts... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..."
I get enough money to buy interesting things (cars, smartphone) and of course when the price get higher even more than the actual one (272.5$ in preev) which still can go higher.
