2581  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: September 22, 2021, 10:24:23 PM
Cryptocurrency investing and cryptocurrency trading are both very popular but vary from person to person. Many people think that cryptocurrency trading is profitable from investment. Many people think that it is better to invest in cryptocurrency trading. However very popular on both platforms if you have enough qualifications and fulfillment Have previous experience.
People really think that trading is profitable and that's why even newbies try it without enough experience. They're all looking to those positive stories that has been shared to them.
They look at how great the experience was but they don't look at how the successful trader went through battles and hardships before they've reached their success.

If those newbies you are referring to have enough experience, then they are not newbies anymore. It's common to see newbies thinking trading is profitable because they are new to it and didn't know yet the risks involved in doing trades. It's not that they don't look at the hard battle of those who become successful but they are just amazed as those traders become professional in their careers starting from scratch.

It's good that they have a mindset like that as it will create a goal that soon they will become one of the best too.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: September 20, 2021, 11:53:25 PM
There are still some people who get lucky in gambling and earn big money on it, this is not only for entertainment purposes because there are some people who leave their job just to focus on gambling
I assume it is only a few people who can be lucky in gambling. Don't think you must be one of them, you will be stressed if you fail when you gamble then. It can be a motivation to stay gambling but don't be motivated to gain a lot of money because of that story of lucky people who gain millions of dollars in gambling. The main purpose is still for fun, earning big money is just a bonus if then we are lucky. It is no need to leave jobs for gambling since the main purpose is for having fun.

if we are talking about luck-based then most probably it is only for entertainment purposes but when talking about skill-based gambling then this is true that some people make huge money on it.
It depends on the individual's view. But for me, both of them are just for fun, as the main purpose. Making/earning money isn't a very serious purpose because I have no capability to ensure to get the money from gambling. Also, setting the money purpose can lead to a bigger chance of addiction and thinking of borrowing money from others.

Whenever you are gambling, it's common to expect big winnings but don't think always you will get that like the other big winners that we have in our mind. It's to avoid expectations and regrets why others are winning but we are always losing. It's stressful to think.

Come to a gambling site or location, relax, be comfortable doing some bets, accepts the results.

Gambling is a game of luck and skills. It's no assurance that for every session, we will win so accept the result with a calm mind.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best crypto gambling sites that accept players from USA! on: September 20, 2021, 11:39:00 PM
Most gambling sites usually ban players that use VPN so it would be better to look for a gambling site that will be more convenient to you and your place of residency. Even if you use a VPN to hide your location, they're still able to detect it so it's better to be sure than to take the risks especially if it will put your capital at risk.
They use VPN because their ISP blocks access to that gambling sites. If the gambling sites do not have a problem for users who use VPN, the site will allow them but if the user wants to withdraw the win money, maybe the site needs more things to prove they are not cheating on their site. If the user just wants to have the experience playing many gambling sites, using VPN will be okay because they do not think about withdrawing the win money. But I consider that search for the other gambling site will be better for the user just in case to prevent the thing that they do not want it in the future.
Using VPN is too risky especially if it's used to bypass the restriction, I would not do that if I'm gambling with a decent amount as there's a risk that my withdrawals will be blocked and they'll investigate my account and once they'll do that, the account will be freeze and there's a possibility that it will be confiscated. That's how risky it is, so if you're willing to gamble on that risk, then you are free to try it.

Correct

Never use the VPN when you are gambling there was a player who won a lot and when he did try to take the funds out his account was frozen and when he asked about it the reason was use of VPN, although they were good and they returned the initial amount.

At the same time this gives the right to the company to freeze your account and if the site is not good you will never see that money again.

Then again you should understand that there are numerous sites accepting US players so the use of VPN is not even essential. Therefore what you can do is, go through them, people already did list a lot so am not gonna repeat it but refrain from things like VPN.

Best of luck

I think of another way. Using VPN is already a common thing that gamblers use and do on crypto-gambling websites. VPN is allowed but only accessing it to the accepted countries. It's not that VPN is used just to hide privately.

If someone is caught using VPN and asks for documents, if the documents are from the accepted countries, then no problem. The suspension will be if that user is from a prohibited country. But that only requires if the users got big winnings and huge jackpot winners.

To summarize, read the terms and conditions about using VPN to become aware.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 20, 2021, 11:29:00 PM
Isn't this all for the sake of advertising, IMO, if the streamers fake those bets and have infinite funds to spend on the site due to xdeal, it's no longer our problem. Our faith, as gamblers, is still in our hands, and gambling platforms can never guarantee victories because it will always depend on our luck and ability to bet.

The problem actually stems from streamers who advertise such false services with rigged rates. Most of these streamers (if not all) are paid by these gambling establishments in order to advertise their supposed to be "legit" rates. But unfortunately, everything is just a smoke screen towards their unethical practice of rigging the rates and causing it to appear that you have a high chance of winning something.

Though this may be the case, please exercise extreme caution to websites that are being advertised by these streamers. The fact that they are 'advertised' means that they are desperate for exposure.

if you are a gambler, you very well know that those winnings from paid streamers are not legit or true. we have no idea what is happening behind those deals. what am worried is, for those new gamblers/players, it is really deceiving from their end. this is why many new players will try those sites to check if such advertisement is true. and they will easily find out, it is not. in this digital age, everyone can practically manipulate what needs to be seen by their audience. you have to be smart on these things and not believe all the good things that you are seeing. of course, they will tempt you to try and send your funds to their site. but if you will lose, they have nothing to do about it.
And one more thing you forgot to mention: Higher RTP for streamer account, I don't know technics but heard about this on Reddit discussions. Some websites offer higher RTP and bigger deposit bonuses for streamers and of course, all these account features, promos, bonuses will lead to the max win per week. It is just a matter of time to hit huge wins but for the average gambler spinning $1000 per bet is ridiculously high, IMHO.

This is true and a logical thing to think so that the stream will be more interesting and catchy. It's an exclusive privilege for famous streamers. To qualify for that, the streamer should be a heavy one with lots of viewers and followers. A high RTP isn't any assurance that these streamers will hit that jackpot but on the way, they have more chance of getting it compare to usual gamblers.

And the tricky part, viewers will think that they will have the same experience so they will test it. Not realizing their RTP is the default one different from the streamers.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 20, 2021, 11:08:56 PM

It's not with the defense or Kristap Porzingis is not stepping up.

There's a problem between KP and Luka. Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban reveals that KP is still not finding his rhythm because he was the main scorer back in New York Knicks. He is complaining about Luka having the ball most of the time. In the first season in Dallas Mavericks, KP is injured and only a few games played, or if I'm not mistaken, none played. In the second season, still adjusting but got a minor injury. The third season is the one that KP got more games played and that's the only time he got a chance to play with Luka for more minutes.

We can say that last season is their testing the chemistry phase. Next season, KP should give up his main scoring option. He can shoot whenever he wants. He should just allow Luka to make plays. Dwayne Wade, superstar, dominant, still in his prime, franchise player of the Miami Heat but allow Lebron James to be the leader on his first season, the result? Multiple championships. Not comparing KP and Luka to Wade and James but that's an example that they worked together because someone give way.

Good point, and just like how Curry and KD adjusted with each other, Luka and KP needs to find that rhythm to help each other and cover lapses from one another, Luka will learn from him knowing that he's one of those good European stars when he still at his prime. I used to remember him playing with Melo though they don't jive that well since Melo as we know him, and hopefully it won't be the cased between Luka and KP, from how I understand your post KP still in the process of moving down, and he needs that to happen he's the one who've got traded and by far it's Lukas time now even this kid still young at age but the competitiveness and showcasing of skills this guy really got a lot to offer.

You both have points. That's why from what I mentioned above, trading Kristap Porzingis is not the solution. They should just set aside their ego.

The problem is, we don't know their relationship outside the court. We don't how serious the problem is. We don't know too if there's already an attempt made by the Mavericks management, direct talk with the coach, teammates, or to the owner itself, to discuss their problem. In 3 years span, I think there's already an attempt made but still not settled. Can't imagine how big the problem is. As we are just speculators here, there might be a side story that we don't know why KP and Luka are not on good terms outside NBA. But they are both good professionally. We don't see a problem when they are playing together in the court. We didn't notice that they are frustrated with each other. Doing fist bumps and helping each other when someone got fall on the floor for example. They only talk about their problem off-the-court.

2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 20, 2021, 10:38:40 PM
I see only  small chance of upset since the preparation is long enough for Alvarez to learn more about the strategy and fighting skills of Plant. Let's wait and witness how things will end from this upcoming fight.

It's hard to believe that Canelo will struggle in this fight because all his fights after the Gennadiy Golovkin were all won by either TKO or UD. This is a statement that Canelo is on a different level while his opponent although has a good record is inferior to him.

Also hard for me to believe that there will be an upset in the fight. But who knows. I won't close the book right away. It's hard to bet on this fight if you are on Canelo's side. No options to bet unless want to risk a small amount for big returns or choose on what round Canelo will win which is riskier than betting on Caleb Plant.

Canelo still has a lot of time to prove that he can achieve more, Manny Pacquiao was still a champion at 40, so I don't think Canelo cannot achieve that if he will continue to take care of his body. Canelo is a type of boxer that never gets tired, he just wants to collect more cash as this is gonna be his 3rd fight this year alone.

I would not be surprised if he still continues to dominate for the next 5 years, if you look the way he fights, he is like an oiled machine that would not be tired in the 12 rounds, and not only that, he doesn't throw his punch without an aim, he is always on point and you can see how the quality of punches landed to his opponent, good example on that is on how he slowly destroy Billy Joe Saunders.

I agree but we don't know if he's still in his shape in the next 5 years.

At his current age, we can still say that he is still on post-prime that's why we see him still at his best. Right now, it's a blessing for us to see him fighting continuously this year and I hope next year.

But we shouldn't look down on Caleb Plant. I consider him as a tough match for Canelo.

canelo is obviously the heavy favourite here by the bookies. wondering if there are bettors here that will place bet on caleb. and i am assuming, they will bet on caleb for the reason that odds are great, which can possibly give good payout at the end of the day.
but if canelo wins, he will further boost his value in boxing. at least see other interesting boxers in this gen once older ones like pacquiao retires.

Yes, there will always be a bettor for Caleb Plant especially his fans. And for the gambler's side, there are gamblers who like to test the risks as odds for Caleb Plant is great and attractive for them. Upset has a low chance to happen but the chance is still a chance for others no matter how small it is. On the other side, no profit much if betting for Canelo.

By the way, anyone knows is there a betting site offering PBA futures or outright betting? Even a fiat bookies will do.
I will check for you mate, I guess I saw a post before about a local fiat bookie in the Philippines that offers a PBA future. For now, since we are mostly focused on crypto sportsbooks, what odds they'll display are only available, PBA is not like NBA which is a big market, so we have to just enjoy what we can get now.

The playoffs is in the air, much excitement will be seen for sure as we don't know yet if after this they would resume immediately.

You are correct that PBA is not a big market compare to NBA and no way they will. But I'm expecting some local fiat bookies here will offer betting futures since that's what "local" betting is served for so they should cover that betting option.

I tried asking my close one as he is an agent of PN**** but find no options for the PBA future. I didn't mention the site as it has a bad reputation here although I don't understand as that platform is considered a legit one here in our place and running for years now if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the effort mate.
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Book/Website Suggestions ? on: September 20, 2021, 10:17:19 PM
However, you shouldn't go in reading these things with the expectation that you are actually going to make money off card counting/advantage play in general.

That should be. Books are just for guides but the actual gameplay will still be based on our own moves and actions.

Not really.

I think that books can teach you how to act, and you can carry it out, but at the end of the day it can still be an unprofitable venture given the fact that card counting generally takes years of practice to perfect and takes a lot of time to go to all these physical casinos.

Plus, you'd be paying thousands in books/courses if you were serious about it.

I don't know on what part you have disagreed but you just repeat the same thought that I posted.

Mine: Books are just for guides but the actual gameplay will still be based on our own moves and actions.

You: I think that books can teach you how to act, and you can carry it out, but at the end of the day it can still be an unprofitable venture given the fact that card counting generally takes years of practice to perfect and takes a lot of time to go to all these physical casinos.

Please tell me the difference?
Books are really just good for theory but not really that a thing where you can really rely on but it is good to know the basics and other terms and stuffs because everything will really be on pure experience.
You do know the terms or theory but if you do lack experience or actual engagement then it would really be just the same. Books are good but wont really be enough if it wouldnt really be tied up
with real experience.Lots of resources are available online and its up to you on what you would take.,

It's obvious that Books are for guides and tips. It's like reading other sources as a guide and reference. The test and challenges now are, how to applied all the knowledge we gained from that books or any other sources and applied literally to the game.

There are also instances where we are ended up in a situation that's not mentioned or written on the source we read at. That's the time experience matters so even losing during the early period, just continue as mistakes is the best foundation on building an experience.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact of underage gambling? on: September 20, 2021, 10:07:02 PM
So often at times, we are always warned not to allow kids to get involved in gambling and one of the major reasons is that gambling is a highly addictive activity, but in recent times we see how young folks are making a positive impact and making money for themselves through the cryptocurrency space.
What is the best age a kid should get involve in online crypto gambling and what is your recommendation for that?

There's no age restriction for me as young folks have different stands and knowledge. What if even at a young age, they are responsible gamblers right away. They know their limit, they know the do's and don'ts and they are just taking gambling as a side activity.

I'm not surprised at those young ones gambling. What I'm more surprised about is at that age, they are interested in crypto. Already knows the basics of setting up a wallet and the most surprising, they already have money to spare on gambling at that age lol. How can they deposit crypto as KYC is necessary at exchanges? Likely today, teens are mostly hardcore gamers and will just play those games. Even betting for it. But not on the crypto side playing in crypto gambling sites.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 20, 2021, 09:53:15 PM
Just kidding guys, but I see him improve a lot. The training that he takes last year might give him more confidence, see him moving a lot and creating space for himself makes him a valuable asset for Northport. Just keep him and Bolick then surround them with more role players, they got now a competitive squad.

Slaughter's improvement started when he is traded by Ginebra. Maybe that situation turned him into a much better physically and mentally. It's obvious he doesn't want to be traded and reach Alfrancis Chua for him to give a chance. After giving him a chance, he was traded. Slaughter even thinks of it as a rumors only but turned into reality.

When they faced off with Ginebra this conference, he was pumped up like he's still in his prime. His team has a chance to compete in the championship now that 2 SMC teams have a problem right now, Ginebra - inconsistent and SMB - injuries.

I guess I will not miss the opportunity to put my bet on this team every time, as they are here to compete and they can beat any team. They are in a good position now to compete as their ranking though not so impressive but compared to the previous bubble, they have some huge improvement already, and Bollick is healthy, so it's another big thing.

And expect NorthPort to always have good odds. They are mostly underdogs and provided with good and high odds this conference. They just need to maintain their healthy lineup and at the same time, their backup should be consistent. Quarterfinals is a different game. Most teams are now at their 100% playing because every win matters especially facing an under a twice-to-beat disadvantage.

They almost beat the most complete SMC team right now which is Magnolia. They can still do it as long as their main scorer, Bolick is healthy and Slaughter will maintain his consistent performance inside the paint whether it's offense and defense. Time also for their bench players to step up and try to change the phase of the PBA where popular teams are the only ones entering the Semis and Finals.

By the way, anyone knows is there a betting site offering PBA futures or outright betting? Even a fiat bookies will do.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 20, 2021, 09:26:40 PM
and also I am aiming for Casimero to win here as to take revenge from the lose of His fellow Filipino Donaire .
Im also rooting for Casimero to win here because he is a Filipino. The past fight of Inoue and Donaire is a friendly match and I think there's no hate feelings between each other. If there's someone to avenge Donaire from his lost to Inoue, its only Donaire himself. Thus if ever they were given a chance to be on the ring again that would be an exciting fight.
No, it was a real competition, though Inoue and Donaire are friends outside the ring, that doesn't mean they will not give their best and be the beast in the fight. Inoue had some trouble in the early rounds, but he was smart, he was able to take advantage using his quickness and those solid jabs of him is very effective.

What that user means is, the fight between Donaire and Inoue is a friendly match because of no hatred after the fight. No trash talks, no questions, no flaws, everything is fair and match. Both boxers show respect after the fight and congratulate each other. Inoue even recognizes Donaire's strength even at that age. He is also open to a rematch with Donaire to make sure no questions. A 2-0 is what he needed.

But for that to happen first, Inoue should shut down the aggressive and cocky Casimero first.

[snip]
I fully understand that some great boxers even do an exhibition fight just to make easy money, so it already tells the reality now.
Well, I think you are wrong because as I remember before --there is an exhibition fight before that the revenue on it was going to the charity. So I think some of this exhibition fight matters a lot of the entertainment not just because of the money. Sometimes I can consider that this kind of game is scripted and you will know from the last. However, is there anyone who knows when is the final fight of Inoue and Manny Pacquiao? I think Manny will resign soon and he will perhaps continue his carrer.

It was Mike Tyson vs  Roy Jones Jr. last year. All proceeds went to the chosen charity and foundation. The reason also why Jones Jr. accepts the fight. If it's not about for charity, Mike Tyson will end up fighting another boxer.

2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 20, 2021, 09:19:38 PM
Has it been posted before already?

https://www.mavsmoneyball.com/2021/8/9/22617492/breaking-luka-doncic-signs-historic-5-year-207-million-extension-the-dallas-mavericks-free-agency

Quote
Luka Doncic has agreed to a five-year $207 million extension with the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Bill Duffy, Doncic’s agent. Days after returning to Slovenia following an inspired run in the Tokyo Olympics, Doncic is receiving the largest supermax rookie extension in NBA history.

This guy deserved this huge amount in his 5-year contract extension, damn, 207 million from rookie to a superstar, this young star player has already achieved the ultimate goal of his life in the NBA. For a triple-double guy who is consistent and could even play even with the injury, the management is just so happy to have him and rewarded him for his hard work.

Nice move by the Dallas Mavericks. Luka is now a franchise player of the Mavericks next to Dirk Nowitzki. He deserves that contract and no question about Luka's way of gameplay. Someday I hope I can see them again to Finals and take the championship.

After sealing Luka, the next would be, Mavericks should try to surround him with a good players. Not superstar, all-star, but some good performing players on their respective position.

Luka is better than Dirk, so I believe he will win a championship before he retires in the NBA. He is already a superstar, unfortunately, his teammates are not strong enough to support him during the playoffs, the big disappointment for the Mavs is KP, they should trade him and look for a big man that is dominant inside as I think that's what they need since Luka is sorrounded by a lot of shooters.

This is the first time I see someone compare Dirk to Luka instead of saying Luka might have the same future or even better to Dirk in their Dallas Mavericks journey. Don't compare them mate. They have different roles. Luka is the main scorer of the team since he was drafted, with no All-Star teammate, acting as a Point Guard most of the time, handles the ball, and decides how's their offense every possession. Dirk Nowitzki on the other hand is a Power Forward. Waiting for the post up shot opportunity and has some good role and sharpshooter teammates like (oldies) Steve Nash, Michael Finley, Jerry Stackhouse, Nick VanExcel, Antawn Jamison, Josh Howard, Antoine Walker, etc. and (championship) Jason Terry, Shawn Marion, Jason Kidd, JJ Barea and many more that can contribute big to the team. Dirk is not alone carrying the Mavericks before.

I agree with the last part of your post that Luka should be surrounded by much better players. Even not as a scoring machine but someone he can rely on consistently good plays. KP is a disappointment to others but for me, if there's no ego involved, he will be a better teammate and tandem for Luka. I trust both Luka and KP can work out that. Trade is not the solution.
2594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 18, 2021, 07:50:22 AM
It is legal but the jurisdiction of the country you will be renting the site is the issue and also you must prove what kind of activity you will conducting because it is risky for the owner if you put bad activity in their license .
Even if it's possible to rent license even if it is illegal to base on some replies here in this thread as it is against the tos but what if the owner of the license let op rented it but later on then the owner will take back (by reporting that it is stolen/illegal acquiring of the license) or voided the agreement they made in renting the license then op will be force to use his/her own lincense (which should have been the first choice) or run his/her own gambling site without license.

No owner in their right mind will make an agreement that is not officially sealed and under the law. Aside from that, both parties on agreement knows their respective identities in personal. But like other saying, it's illegal and I doubt that's really the solution. I don't even think that someone will rent a license as complying with the legit license is just easy.

OP is now inactive and doesn't responded on this thread. We don't know what the status already. Maybe time now to forget this thread as without OP's update, we are just giving our repetitive comments and suggestions.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 18, 2021, 07:31:13 AM
Not that Ortiz lost that skills quickly but he just didn't anticipate Silva's move. "If only" he didn't make that opening for Silva, he might make on another round.
No, it will become worst if Ortiz didn't make opening for Silva because Silva will make opening for Ortiz he only need 3 punch to knocked out Ortiz Grin That's not the problem, Ortiz doesn't have power to punch Silva and he also doesn't have tough chin to take damage from Silva, as been said he's lost in every aspects.

Anderson silva is a great  fighter he can adjust  his strategy in different opponents. His stamina can survive on a heavy punches.  So in this case I'll choose Silva will win in this Match.
But not just easy because we all know that ortiz is A great fighter also and for sure he had prapare a strategic moves against silva .
Lol, do you really busy and can't even read the date on the title?

Regardless and either way, Silva will still find a way to knock Ortiz on few punches. It's just become quick before of that opening made by Ortiz.

Although I like the match to end up on more rounds, I think people got what they want. Paying money for a knockout rather than see a match ending up in a decision which is the expectation of others because that's an exhibition match in the first place.

Maybe it's time now to close the thread and let's wait for Silva's next opponent.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot vs Video Poker on: September 18, 2021, 06:28:05 AM
I actually think that video poker is way too slow for my liking and I'd rather get some variance and major wins with slots. And most people tend to agree with this I feel.

Regarding the game phase, yes it's more quick to slots. Even slots are considered as luck-based games, we can win most playing at these compare spending hours in video poker or any related games. Luck is just around the corner. We might attract it during early spins or for much longer spins.

Comparing both slots and video poker, it's really much excited to see those spinning wheels especially when a decent multiplier win will flash on the screen.

Here we go SHIB is now listed in coinbase which is absolutely a great news now the game changer Elon Musk might play a drama to make people fool in upcoming days, probabilities are high because that's what he did for doge coin too. Meme coin became a rockstar over a couple of months and I guess now it's the turn for SHIB coin, guys make use of opportunities it's a rare chance in my opinion go for it if you want to see you as a millionaire.

Seriously? Can't believe Coinbase lowered their criteria. SHIB is overhyped. I doubt it can reach a good price to make you guys millionaire. You need not just Elon Musk and Coinbase presence to pump its price.

I feel everyone will be disappointed in the end. Too much expectation because of the word rich.

Goodluck guys on your investment and don't expect much so that you won't feel depressed in the future.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL? on: September 18, 2021, 05:06:47 AM
Solana is a new promising altcoin that surpassed dogecoin to be ranked up to seventh place on CMC. And based on its price last August 15 2021 it is only 44$ and now its current price is 157$ based on that super Sonic price movement from 44$ to 157$ for just one months, I think Solana is good for short term investment, what would be your insights about this guys. Good for long term or short term investment?

It's really up to you. If you think SOLANA will be a great additional to your portfolio, you can make a diversification rather than selling your other assets. No need to fully dump your BTC to ETH unless you want to risk everything to SOLANA. As long as you understand the risks then just go ahead.

Personally, I want to diversify my portfolio assets with Solana. Long-term or short-term, I will sell it based on my anticipation of the market. Try deciding by yourself with your own given factors.
2599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think I have a gambling problem on: September 18, 2021, 04:59:09 AM
I started online gambling a while ago, at first CSGO skins gambling, then crypto gambling. I havnt lost a lot yet, but I honestly think its a problem. My idea of fun nowadays is booting up NordVPN, going to Stake, depositing crypto into the website, and gambling. I spend hours gambling, I dont lose much, but I also dont win much, I split even almost every night. But its all I can think about sometimes, when Im at school I think about gambling im gonna do when I get home. But I think my gambling might get me in trouble, im not even 18 (4 years away from it) yet and its almost all I think about sometimes. Do you guys think I should make an effort to quit?

If you think it's now ruining your usual activity, feel stressed about it, pressured or already wasting money for nothing, then you should minimize your gambling habits. Stopping totally depends on how you think of the situation. If you feel you can handle those problems I mentioned, then just feel entertained on what you are doing.

You can feel if something not right is happening. The moment you feel it, you can slowly stop doing gambling or find another activity outside gambling that will make you feel busy and entertain.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Liberalization of cryptocurrency in Ukraine - attractiveness for Gambling ?! on: September 18, 2021, 04:17:19 AM
At the moment, Ukraine has already adopted laws that significantly liberalize the position of the cryptocurrency in the domestic market. There are many plans to further expand the ability to apply and use cryptocurrency in different areas of the economy. Considering that the gambling business (casinos, slot machines, etc.) in Ukraine is also well developed and formalized, what can you say about the investment potential of Ukraine for the Gambling direction?

- Are you ready to potentially play on sites that will be located, or will be registered, in Ukraine?
- To become a key set of "features" for you that would attract you?
- What will be negative for you when placing gambling sites in Ukraine?

Their plan is good. They really construct a newly terms and regulations about their gambling involving cryptocurrency.

But just a question, is Ukraine a crypto-friendly before or just thinks of adopting crypto recently?

If it's the former then I see adopting crypto to their gambling business will boost the adoption of cryptocurrencies there specifically bitcoin.
They are crypto friendly since 2018 as far as I know and now they are soon to legalize Bitcoin as a legal tender so I believe they are crypto friendly. If they make a good changes on their gambling policy that includes crypto gambling, then that could be a more good news for crypto users and they might also offer services outside their country so they can reach more people. I'm hoping as well that my country sees the importance of cryptocurrency nowadays, legalizing Bitcoin is always the target.

Thanks for the information. Since they will soon making bitcoin as legal tender just like what El Salvador did, it's expected now that they are implenting and adopting bitcoin slowly in usual businesses and establishments. In the side of gambling, since it's more sensitive than the other industries, Ukraine really needs to create and form strict laws and restriction about the use of cryptocurrencies in their gambling.

But is that will lead for a centralized gambling in crypto? It might turned as how fiat gambling on that country is regulated. Not a good news I guess for the majority of crypto gamblers.
