Really, I'm sorry Milan actually lost 3-0 to Chelsea in today's match. I don't know how ready they are in the Champions League, but it's definitely disappointing. Now Milan have 4 points in group E, the same number as Chelsea but I really hope they can qualify for the last 16 this season.
Either way, Milan must win the next few games against Chelsea and Salzburg and Dinamo Zegreb. If Milan lose again, then it will make them fail to continue their good run this season in the Champions League. A 1-3 win against Empoli apparently did not make Milan make points in the Champions League. Next up, Milan will play Juventus this week and it will be very tiring.
Chelsea won that game home and it was important for them. Milan unfortunately didn't succeed and their chances to pass this stage in this group aren't affected since the difference between them and the first place (Salzburg) is only 1 point. They have to win the remaining games to pass or win 2 and wait for Chelsea to lose and get a draw. Now in Serie A, Milan is favourite against Juve and they shouldn't lose, otherwise the gap will increase.. |

Seems that I had too good opinion about Milan, but they were awful today.
Benfica 1:1 PSG. Expected PSG to win, but Benfica gave good fight and probably result of game isn't surprising. And I think it's not bad result for both if you look at table.
Sevilla continue to amaze me how low they can go and Lopetegui isn't sacked still. Down 0:3 in 1st half and 2nd half becomes meaningless.
In other games everything as expected.
Milan result was disturbing since I find them better although bookies already picked Chelsea as favourite days before the game. PSG result was unexpected for real and it made qualification very hard for Juve.. For Sevilla, nothing new, the team is in its worst shape this season.
In most groups, there is at least a team which will pass clearly to the next stage except for Group D and E where everything could happen to the ranking. |

Another challenge this week for Barcelona will be to complete the task of picking up another 3 points against Celta Vigo in the coming days. I really think they can be expected to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if they conceded in that match and failed to maintain their good defensive record. Christensen's injury adds to the list of defenders' injuries, so that's the problem.
Celta Vigo is the easiest task for Barcelona in October from now on. They will play just after vs Inter in CL, then Real Madrid in La Liga then Villarreal and Bilbao which aren't easy opponents then Bayern to finish 2 weeks of hard games. So the risk of injuries, fatigue, red cards absence is quite elevated here and might alter the performance of the club. |

A tough task now faced by Allegri because he is required to be able to restore what was lost from Juventus this season. Of course it is a very disappointing decline if he is not able to restore Juventus' position at least for the top 4 position in the standings. He's already feeling a lot of pressure over Juventus' negative results now and for sure Juventus fans will put more pressure on him to step down or pressure the management to sack their current coach.
Juve will keep rotating coaches every couple of months? It doesn't work like that.. The disappointment level is elevated among players, administration and fans with the successive failures. It is whether they tolerate that this season and plan for the next one or keep changing a coach by another until they find a good one. I don't recall many available coaches right now except Zidane and Touchel? Juve have a game tonight in CL and they should win in it otherwise Juve could say goodbye to CL. |

Tonight Bayern Munich won big again (in the CL but still). Last time they also won their match easily. We may have to put off the bad start and assume that they are back in the form of the Bayern as we know it. Incidentally, it is a bad start for Bayern, but not a dramatic one. Maybe we shouldn't overdo it. It's a shame for Dortmund that they can't take advantage of it and lose points themselves every time. This is not only due to the departure of Haaland, of course. I think Bayern Munich will win the league that Dortmund will be 2nd.

It's too early to talk about who will take the lead in the title race. I prefer to enjoy the rivalry between these two teams because the ribs have just started. Agree. It is not the right time to discuss which team has a bigger chance to win the title. This season still doesn't finish its first half, there are still too many chances to see the change in the position of each team in the La Liga standings. Although Barcelona is leading the table now, it doesn't guarantee that Barcelona will be at the top table until the end of the season. Moreover, there is no point gap between Barcelona points and Real Madrid points, both are collecting 19 points. Which team that can win the upcoming EL Classico will lead the table temporarily. Unless a draw, it would be better to one of Real Madrid or Barcelona to win the El Classico so one of them lead the table and make the other try to catch it. Having a draw will make both teams stressing much and will close the gap between them and Betis & Bilbao mainly since ATM is still quite far. |

What United showed was nothing like it. You can lose to City, that's no shame. It is comical that Ten Hag had won the prize for manager of the month because they managed to win a few games in a row. You could actually see it more as a kind of incentive prize. Actually United haven't played a decent game, the games they won weren't great either. I also find it strange that McGuire still plays at United. He gets a lot of criticism in all the weeks that he plays at United. Liverpool would still go up in the rankings, but United can lose to anyone with this style of play, and that has also proven to be the case in the first 2 rounds of play.
City has its good moments and its bad one. Just like Bayern. You can face them in their weakest times and win vs them, like you can face them in their best moments and they crash you just like Bayern - Barcelona and City - ManU. It is about how you can control the damage to limit it and gets the least. Unfortunately ManU didn't figure out how to control City threat the best way and that's the consequences. |

However I still don't think that Inter can win here. Barcelona's performance wasn't so different from them as I said. I expect them to improve their performance even more in the second half and equalize the score as soon as possible. But it looks like they have a really difficult job as for getting a win. Inter are surprising us a lot after their poor defensive performance against Roma the last time. I wasn't expecting them to stay this much solid. Maybe Inzaghi found out a way to be more prepared for the Champions League.
Inter won 1-0 vs Barcelona although being less threatening. In the second half, Barcelona was more powerful and almost scoring but they failed. There is a disallowed goal and penalty by VAR. Don't want to comment on them since the actual VAR system is a headache.. To resume: Inter won't be as lucky next week as in today's game so better to improve and let Barcelona control less the ball. In the other games, Brugge winning with 2 goals to 0 vs ATM was interesting along with 6-1 between Napoli - Ajax. Even Marseille 4-1 Sporting was an interesting result. Tomorrow Chelsea - Milan is the best game and I expect Milan to win regarding the bad shape of Chelsea right now, although odds are in favour of Chelsea since playing home? |

Udinese are really unstoppable now.
Honestly I was waiting for Verona to put an end to their winning streak today. They were so close to doing this after getting 1-0 ahead also. But Udinese scored the equalizer in the 70th minute first. It was still like they were going to lose two points however they somehow scored the winning goal in the stoppage time. It was a really high effort by them throughout the game though. They totally deserved this win but Verona were just annoyingly lucky against them. Now they are on a winning streak of six games and still only one point behind Napoli - Atalanta duo.
Udinese wasn't stopped by Inter, Roma, Sassuolo and Fiorentina, why could Verona stop it now  Verona isn't as threatening as the previous seasons. They are standing in the relegation zone for the moment. Their results aren't good. When you saw Verona playing vs big clubs previously, you know that the result of the game might be unexpected. For the moment, this isn't the case at all. |

Who else watched the humiliating moment where mnchesterasunited went on the half time with 4 goals to none and even in the second half of manchester united only managed to make 3 goals score while manchester city added more than 3 goals. Man u fans have been in disarray since their Sunday game.
It wasn't unexpected by anyone to see City winning vs ManU, even ManU fans are aware that City is better than their team. The fact that ManU won many games successively could let them feel that they might do something vs City. However, such big result is disappointing. Haaland with his goals made a record in EPL. Lyon vs lens match ended as predicted, lens managed to win 1-0. Lyon continues to lose in the last 4 matches, nothing seems to have changed from Lyon, Lyon is still the same as last season.
But Lens is getting better. It is interesting that after 9 matches, Lens stayed without a defeat along with Marseille and PSG. Lyon got the 4th defeat in a row which isn't good at all and I believe they will have hard times to compete in an european competition spot. The question now is, how many will go back using preev.com as their main reference to check BTC's current value, and how many will stick with any of the alternatives that were created in the meantime?
Honestly, I am pissed with whatever is going on with preev every couple of months. You never know when it shutdowns, how long to wait for it to come back.. 0 information and notification which isn't acceptable and shouldn't be encouraged tho. There isn't a single explanation anywhere about what happened lately no? In fact, this World Cup in Qatar is going to be the best World Cup in history. Everyone is electing to make their party as strong as possible. Bundesliga will resume this weekend. We have Bayern to win vs Leverkusen, otherwise it will be very awkward situation. Dortmund will face Koln with interesting odds 2 vs 3.3. A draw will be appreciated too so Bayern can get closer to the first place  Union has lower odds than Frankfurt! 3.3 Union vs 2.2 Frankfurt. Not sure if this is an opportunity to x3 the money or a trap? Bremen and M'Gladbach have very close odds around 2.5 which is attractive and risky at the same time. Napoli team managed another win today and extended their unbeaten streak this season it only took them 37 minutes to score three goals and seal the deal with this result they took the first spot with a three point difference from atalanta, it was not expected to see them as leaders especially that a lot of important players had left the team, what spalleti is doing with them is something amazing.
As I said repeatedly, Napoli is a good team but inconsistent, at least in the previous seasons. If they could keep positive results, they might be champions! Something that I find not obvious, hopefully they could prove the opposite. For the moment Inter 1-1 Roma in the first half with the 2 goals scored in 10 minutes. Inter scored first then Dybala responded quickly. |

It was quite nice to see arsenal performance today managed to secure 3 points at home, victory against Tottenham is always a tough job for us but we will not let Tottenham feel comfortable at the Emirates, today win should be a high motivation to face Liverpool in next week and with Liverpool current condition which is not optimal of course I believe we can get 3 points again later.  LONDON Is RED Arsenal making it harder for City this season and with the report of their game, Arsenal might keep the lead for a long time. I was waiting for more resistance from Spurs but being one goal behind and receiving a red card won't help.. The other disappointment, that is becoming a chronic one, is Liverpool getting a draw against Brighton. Brighton is doing good and that game wouldn't be easy for Liverpool but waiting for them to win every round which won't happen is painful for their fans that used to see them in the first places.. |
