Breaking the Chains of Colonialism – Atlantis Blue Digital Token

It is very common for resource-rich nations, which once were under colonial rule, to remain poor even after freeing themselves from the superpowers that subjugated them. A look to the south of the equator serves as a reminder that although a country might be wealthy in resources doesn’t necessarily translate into wealth for its citizens.

There are many theories that try to explain this phenomena, such as political corruption, lack of investment to ensure sustainable growth and lack of the necessary technology to fully exploit their riches. The latter is the bigger culprit due to the fact that underdeveloped nations don’t have the needed technology to fully extract their riches without needing the help of a more developed nation. So though colonial rule might have come to end, the unseen chains of colonialism are still intact.

The Atlantis Blue Project has launched an asset based token on the stellar network which incorporates the semi-precious gem called Larimar. They aim to prove that the digitization of an asset can better serve a community than the invitation of a super power to help them exploit it. The math doesn’t lie. When a country or small community is able to independently run their extraction operations, the funds generated by the sale of the exploited resources will all remain at the local level.

Blockchain technology has made this possible. The Atlantis blue digital tokens can be found on the Stellar Decentralized Exchange. Someone that purchases the token is not only investing in his or her portfolio, but also in the community that mines the beautiful gems of Larimar. It provides them the financial backing needed to increase mining capabilities and avoid becoming dependent of a more developed nation that would have taken a percentage of the entire operation.

Thanks to the sale of Atlantis Blue Digital Tokens (ABDT) on the stellar network, the project has been able to gain enough funds to engage in an international marketing campaign of Larimar and accumulate enough funds to almost double mining operations in the course of two weeks. We can only dream of where this community will be in a not so distant tomorrow.

The Atlantis Blue Project exists on the Stellar Network, which is already well established and has a strong reputation in the crypto community. The new currency will be Atlantic Blue Digital Tokens, and it will dramatically improve the entire process of mining and selling Larimar.

That's true and it is of the reason why they recommend this token which is atlantis blue Do to numerous requests, they've published a new article (including a step by step guide) on deposits and withdrawals. You can read the article here:

LARIMAR GOES TO DIGITAL

Semi-Precious Gem Meets Stellar

One might think that these days it is very cliché to see blockchain and cryptocurrency technology as a panacea for all that is wrong in our world, or for anything that needs improvement. However, it wouldn’t be smart to not recognize the revolution and disruption that bitcoin and its “children,” in this case Stellar, are causing in many aspects of our lives. Therefore, it shouldn’t be any surprise that when a community of miners, who’s entire livelihood revolves around a gorgeous gem called Larimar, saw the same being threatened, their solution was to turn to Stellar, its super secured network and decentralized exchange for the solution.

Larimar is a semi-precious stone only found in one place in the entire world, a dead volcano  in the Caribbean island called Hispaniola, on the side of the Dominican Republic. Larimar or Blue Stones of Atlantis as it is also known internationally, ranks among the top five most rare gems in the world. Surprisingly, it is highly undervalue although it has already managed to achieved a multimillion dollar market. That was to be expected, forgetting about how rare and unique the stone is, its most valuable attribute is its sheer beauty.

The community of miners of Larimar have long been let down by the exporters that come from many different countries who often times take the stones with only a promise to pay back when they return. Many months later, when they do, they pay for the gems that they took on their previous trip but take a new shipment with the same feeble currency they used once before, another promise.  It was the idea of an outsider, someone that frequents the region regularly that offered the solution: Change currency and change the buyers. Larimar had to go digital.

264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥🔥 Atlantis Blue Digital Tokens On stellar🔥🔥 on: May 09, 2018, 03:56:17 PM

The Atlantis Blue Project, which is composed of all three associations and cooperatives that are responsible for bringing Larimar to the world, have adopted the Stellar Network as its digital home and the Atlantis Blue Digital Tokens as its new currency. The move is very understandable, now there is no need to wait six months to get paid when you can sell one gram of Larimar by selling one Atlantis Blue digital token and get paid instantly.

As if to punish the old international buyers, the Atlantis Blue Project has decided to not only convert most of its physical market into a digital one on the stellar network, but to also hand the token holders control of the price. This means that when an exporter shows up to buy physical Larimar, he or she will have to pay the last trade price that was listed on the Stellar Distributed Exchange.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BIDIUM: The Best Service Around - Join Whitelist Today on: May 03, 2018, 01:10:55 PM
Bidium can't achieve the hardcap in just a couple of weeks. Just imagine, the gap of their token sale is just for 5-6 weeks. I don't know what they are thinking but to be honest, bidium has a potential to be failed. The period is too short compared to other project who had more than 11 weeks.
I dont see that they cant achieve the hardcap, Theres a really big big chances that bidium can reach the hard cap we know that bidium has unique features than others.

Well as far as I heard Bidium soft cap has already achieved the target, which is a good sign and great things happens as well. Besides every ICO

campaign has a big chances to reach whatever target they have. So for Bidium, I think they can probably hit the hard cap because many

investors are now getting interest unto it.

Looks good! They’ve made a comparison above among other market places. Bidium i can see is an exchange and a bidding marketplace for selling goods and for both freelancers and employers who want to hire freelancer employees. They will also be having their own wallet and it is said that the platform revenues 50% of it are distributted among BIDM token holders in their wallets. Sounds good. Ah! Cryptocurrencies also is one of the goods they will be selling (not good though)  Grin

It is something same in the amazon which is open for selling goods to anyone. Where it is a platform offers buyers and sellers the opportunity to

save time as there is a limited time period of 24 hours to bid for any product. This will provide sellers an assurance of getting authorized buyers

only, which in turn prevent their products from being blocked by malicious buyers.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: April 30, 2018, 11:11:32 PM
Hi everyone, I'm just start trading and I don't have too much experience in chart or technical analyse. So I joined some signal groups with monthly fee. Is it good, in your opnion?
I hear about Alanmaster and his VIP signal, anyone hear about him or join his VIP member. Since I want to try so it's good if I have some feedback about it.
Thanks  Grin

There's nothing wrong if we sometimes follow the signals. Because there is a group of pumper and dumper and also its an advantage if you have a contact person where they can inform you about when to pump. So, its a good things for me.
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: April 30, 2018, 11:02:05 PM
If that happens to me of course I will accept the fact that I lose it. Then I'll take it as charge experience, also I will review the mistake moved

I've why I lose that big amount of money then analyze what to do next time for me not to encounter that again as mus as I can though being a

loser is a part of being a traders, isn't right?
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: April 30, 2018, 10:53:23 PM
Since bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies markets get into bearish trend since December 16, 2017 we have seeing alot of comments and post about people and traders asking were is the bottom and should we buy and hold?  I think personally, the downward trend is over when bitcoin push above $10,250 and $10,850 this morning!  The bullish trend has been trigger and bitcoin is going to break the December high of $19,000 and move above that level towards $25,000 before we can see another major bearish again. What did you think?

Certainly yes it is already over, Bull run turn now. So as long as we could have a chance to buy lets do it as much as we can before its too late because the price value of the coins was very unpredictable where anytime it could dump their value then hold for awhile.
270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 30, 2018, 10:48:54 PM
Im a begginer for the trading but my friends that teach me how to join and how to work in trading sites. They said that you need to remove your emotions because emotion is the best enemy of a trader. And second is study the basic candle sticks it is need for the begginer.

You cannot become a trader if you don't have any capital, meaning you must buy first Bitcoin then once you have it, You are now capable to buy

any coin in the exchange platform. But before that you need to sign up first in any platform for you to make some trade in the exchange site.

272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: April 25, 2018, 05:03:43 AM
I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?
Yes it is true that some of the community here rely of the tips and advises from the experts. This thing would depend on your belief and trust you have. If you think they are good influences and you know it is right, you are free to do it, just simple as that in my opinion.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: April 25, 2018, 04:50:48 AM
If the value goes down, just simply stay and hold still until it recover again, then if totally dump the price value buy a huge of it and hold em in a along term until you get profit of 30% or more depending on your decision.
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy some BTC? on: April 25, 2018, 04:44:31 AM
Yes it is still good time to buy bitcoin now. Remembered last year 2017 month of December bitcoin reach the value of 19k$ almost then dropped below 7k$ when 2018 entered. Meaning, there is a big chance to recover again to that amount of value or more. So, a long as it is now in the stage of cheap value lets take the chance to buy some of it as long as we can afford to buy in.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading for quick profit on: April 25, 2018, 04:32:29 AM
Hello any suggestion for trade every day and make good profit ? like 50$ day.
i think the best pair are BTC USDT ? is possible to trade only this or need difference the crypto ?

Doing trade is not an easy task or a habit. Trading is the one methods for us to earn Bitcoin or altcoins, but need to spend effort to learn it first.
Day trade is one of the quickest thing for us to earn bitcoin or alts, depending on your method which you are going to use though there is risk involved anyway. But if you do the right thing you can get what you want for sure but if not you can also be totally wreck in the end.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: The market started looking green today. on: April 25, 2018, 04:09:32 AM
Everyday now as I observed about the Flow of the price value regarding in bitcoin, it is actually increasing everyday. Unlike a couple of months was totally dumped their value but no I think the bull run to other alts and of course no. 1 Bitcoin has now begun. I guess this will continue a good sign for us to achieve what we are been waiting for.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 25, 2018, 03:58:56 AM
Over 900 Million  pesos worth of bitcoins been scammed.

Filipino couple amasses at least P900M in alleged Bitcoin scam.
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Police have nabbed a couple promising easy wealth through popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa announced on Tuesday, April 10.
Arnel and Leonady Ordonio were nabbed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives – the police division in charge of high-stakes and high-profile crimes – in Vigan City last April 4 through an entrapment operation.

The scam, Obusan said, is structured like a pyramid scheme but with electronic money.

The Ordonios apparently had middlemen who lured people to invest. They promised to pay victims with their earnings every 15 days.

Fueled by the worldwide Bitcoin hype, more and more people were baited by the Ordonio couple's promises.

The complaints started piling in when investors lost contact with the Ordonios.
Whats happened  next?
Around 50 angry victims stormed to Camp Crame on Tuesday, asking the couple if they could still get back the money they had hoped would grow.

Will bitcoin be banned because of that?

In my opinion, No one can tell if bitcoin will be banned on Philippines. Because, if there are people who got scammed because of Bitcoin according to them. For me, it is not the Bitcoin scam the victim but the people who used Bitcoin as their front for them to get the attention of the victim. Meaning, bitcoin is not a company it is a software kind, decentralized type not centralize one. And I think decentralization is one of the reason why BSP approved to get in here into our country.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: April 25, 2018, 03:43:26 AM
This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed Banks are just for keep your money safe!  Tongue

In my whole life I've never seen any bank clients testify that they became rich because of putting their money into any bank. Bank company is just keeping your money to store it to their bank then will give profit to your savings with a cheap interest only Which I cannot consider its profit.
Therefore, I agreed on you just said mate.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is a better investment Bitcoin Or Ethereum, on: April 24, 2018, 02:20:07 PM
Hello Friends...

280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: April 24, 2018, 02:00:43 PM
I’ve been wanting and taking my time to enter the trade game. But before I do, just wanting to know the prod and cons of having a lot of new traders coming in.

Trading is much more safer and easy to learn. I’ve been preparing myself for months now and wanted to start my journey here in bitcointalk. But like me? New Traders are comming in fast. Will it be a good sign to our world of crypocurrency? Or will it affect the competition inside?
In my perception the more traders is a good sign. It shows that there is more buyers and sellers will do trade but depending upon the token/alts they are going to buy and hold em whether short or long term.
