261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Question for all on: January 22, 2018, 01:35:14 PM
The possibility is very small to send bitcoins to the wrong address. This is because the person sending bitcoin would only do a copy paste on bitcoin address because it is very prone to error if we type the address bitcoin manually.

Even if it does happen, I think I'll put it on chipmixer to keep it unable to trace  Grin. Come on, which one wants to restore that much Bitcoin. If it is money and sent the wrong account, there is a rule that the bank cannot withdraw the money, and the wrongdoer cannot sue the recipient.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the time to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 01:23:47 PM
Well, probably Yes. Now the price is back slightly down, either because of the time leading up to the Lunar New Year, or CME's first bitcoin contract will expire on 26 January. This can provide a second chance for people who have not been on the boat when a few days ago Bitcoin fell below $10k. If you believe that bitcoin will reach $30k-$40k this year, you should already decide to buy or not.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air on: January 20, 2018, 10:20:35 PM
Ex-RBI chairman said, "Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air". It is the biggest scam of all.   Angry

Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air, indeed bitcoin looks like that, but the reality is not. People just keep their trust in this technology, and from that trust to produce value. As confidence increases, the value increases, so the person who has entrusted his money to bitcoin, is rewarded with the increase in the value of his assets. How can this be said to be a scam. In the meantime, a $10 fiat money just need a few cents for the making, but given a $ 10 value, does he think this is not a scam?
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: January 19, 2018, 10:50:34 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

why would bitcoin die?
depending on the reason the answer to your question can be either yes, altcoins will also die or it can be no, they will continue.

you see, most of the altcoins share a lot of things with bitcoin. some of them are exactly the same as bitcoin with so little differences. that is why is say it depends on the reason. for example if it is because of fees, most altcoins will follow it to the grave yard. coins like ETH, LTC, ... will die because they suffer the same issues despite you not seeing them now.

Agree. What makes you think bitcoin will die? cryptocurrency is only a matter of bitcoin, the other is just as a complement. So if bitcoin really will die, how can the other coin still survive?

It's true that bitcoin is having problems with transaction costs and speed. Well, if another coin user has as much bitcoin, do you think the speed and cost will be the same as now? certainly not friends.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 10:39:37 AM
if we look at the statements contained in the article is that the government is very concerned about the risks offered by digital currencies and explains what are the adverse effects that could result if cryptocurrency transactions persisted in their country. Because indeed, it is the duty of the government, to maintain the stability of the economy in a country, and to prevent and follow up any threats that may affect it.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans bitcoin EVERY year on: January 17, 2018, 02:08:02 PM
Well, it is not easy for China to be able to simply ban the circulation of bitcoin in the country. Moreover, China is one of the countries with the largest number of bitcoin investors in the world. Of course, they need special consideration, how the impact on the decision they will take for this cryptocurrency. If they forbid, investors will move their assets out of China, and that would be a big loss for the government because assets worth billions of dollars would move and this could affect the economy in China.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash is over, nice call on the bottom guys! ATH will come quickly on: January 17, 2018, 01:47:35 PM
Crash is over, nice call on the bottom guys! ATH will come quickly

I have to agree with your opinion because I have been aboard. Investors are exploiting these conditions to inflate their money, but I'm not sure if bitcoin will fall lower than $ 9k. Even the current price is already underpriced.

You must be right. The phase of profit booking by bitcoin whales must have finished by this time and the current bitcoin price levels are very good buying opportunity for those who are all looking for making easy and quick profits.

Corrections may happen time to time but we cannot expect any more persisting corrections here after as bitcoin prices has already given you enough room for those profit booking days from the previous ATH levels. From current price levels we can expect prices to hit $25,000 levels by the mid of February month. It may happen earlier to that also as rising prices are always attract more investors than we can predict.

With market conditions like this, I think we will not see the new ATH until the beginning of the second quarter of 2018.

268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we ALWAYS have FUD on the 2nd-3rd weeks of January?? on: January 17, 2018, 01:07:01 PM
I have been in crypto since 2016, but I never went message boards (BTCtalk, Reddit, etc.) until late 2017.

I have a question:

Given that we have seen January (2nd and 3rd weeks) dips happen always in the history of crypto, do we still get so much FUD and panic, even when it is fully expected that a dip would happen?

Do we always have this useless and totally made up "TA" telling us that Bitcoin will crash to nothing?

Even when Bitcoin dropped 90%, it went up 10000% a few years later - what other investment can give you that return? Not too many.

HODL

It is true that if you look at a bit of bitcoin a few years ago, what is happening today is similar to what happened before in December and January range. In December 2014 - January 2015 bitcoin declined by 61%, in December 2015 - January 2016 bitcoin declined 26%, In December 2016 - January 2017 bitcoin declined by 35% and currently, since December 2017 - now, bitcoin has decreased by 43%. This is a routine correction every year. Stop panic and keep HOLD !!!
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!! on: January 17, 2018, 11:22:53 AM
What you say are makes sense, but to me personally, this is the path I choose. If indeed the purpose of price manipulation and price fluctuations aims to reap the benefits, I just need to adjust themselves in order to also reap the benefits of it.

You've just been in the world of cryptocurrency since last year, and it's still fairly new. What about people who have been struggling since the beginning of the world cryptocurrency and still survive until now. How do you respond?
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap on: January 17, 2018, 06:42:58 AM
Hi there what happen all altcoins and bitcoin is dumping but why? Im panic about that and the coinmarketcap still dumping this is the end of cryptocurrency? Anyone knows about this? A litle worried about what happening now. Sad

There has been plenty of news about what's happening. Are you familiar with new sources like Coindesk or Bitcoin.com or Google?

Recently the South Korean government announced plans to regulate, restrict, ban elements of bitcoin or cryptocurrency trading. This news, even though it's just a short comment and not legislation or law, has likely driven the sell off we're seeing right now. And when one coin sells off others are likely to follow. A lot of the investors are new, thus they tend to "follow the leader or the herd".

Come on, this is not happen for the first time to cryptocurrency until you have to say this is the end of cryptocurrency. Although Bitcoin has decreased by almost 40% in the last 24 hours, it's still very reasonable when you see the price jump before this. Altcoin? They just following the kings movement, because altcoin still exist because bitcoin want it to. This is all just about bitcoin, there are rumors that prices are falling because of the holders of bitcoin futures contracts.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EVERY SINGLE COIN is down!! on: January 16, 2018, 10:35:38 PM
After cryptocurrency has risen very significantly at the end of 2017, I think this is a fairly reasonable correction, after all, this is supported by news from South Korea about Prohibition of bitcoin and also Asian countries set rules for circulation of cryptocurrency. This shows that bitcoin will pass the challenge of fluctuation that is much larger than before.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Magazine calls Bitcoin a "Great Scam" on: January 16, 2018, 10:13:36 PM
this is like a reminder that shows how scared they are of bitcoin!

as Andreas Antonopoulos said, bitcoin is an exit sign for everyone to get out of the corrupted currencies and the corrupted banking system. you can't expect them to remain silent while bitcoin gains more power everyday. even if they can slow it down by FUD, they will consider it a success.

Exactly, there are many people who do not realize that they are actually being tricked with their own money. Very low savings interest, monthly administration fees, network limitations, and interest on loans over single digits. This is what makes banking companies always reap a very high profit every year. Bitcoin offers something better than that, it just takes time for people to realize it.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy some BTC? on: January 16, 2018, 01:40:47 PM
The market is Still Looking Dull Due To KOREA's Unclear Statement. Still Market is Going through that FUD.
BTC is so cheap now. Do you think it is time to buy some BTC?

All the cryptocurrency market are in bearish, not just due to South korea unclear statement, but also because the asian country regulatiom about bitcoin. Its been a third week and I hope it soon will comeback for testing a new ATH. As long as the price still hold the support level ($11k), I thought it will be back soon, but if not, I can say it would drop under $10k.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 01:05:42 PM
It all depends on how the definition of the rich you think. In my country, having a $ 10,000 upward balance can already be classified as the rich. Please understand, its a developing country  Grin. But I personally think, Someone can be said rich if a person is not needed work to be able to live and finance the life of his family. All his income flows like a spring that does not stop. Whether it's from stock or investment. So all he needs to do is enjoy it. I also believe that there is much to be like that through the investment of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 16, 2018, 12:39:22 PM
Of course, Let's take the example of miner dinosaurs or bitcoin miner when the price is still below $10. They are the people who have successfully utilized the information about this bitcoin technology and believe that bitcoin will become something viral in the future, While most people just look, some even laugh at them.

But look at this moment, and Who will laugh now ?. That's Why some people say information is more expensive than gold because an information can be very valuable in the future.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alll coin going down. what should we do? on: January 16, 2018, 12:27:10 PM
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
This moment is something to be prepared when deciding to invest in cryptocurrency. Because one of the risks offered by this investment is the price that has high fluctuations. "If you can not take the heat, get out of the kitchen". I strongly agree.

The prediction of the regulation of bitcoin in 2018 has been proven today. This will have an effect on price movements, and I don't know how long the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are decreasing now. What needs to be prepared of course is the capital to buy the dip.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 15, 2018, 01:17:26 PM
Bitcoin with it's high fees and slow transaction times is hardly suitable for payments – spending the same fee whether you buy a coffee or send $100,000 is a joke and the promise of scaling solutions such as the Lightning Network hasn’t been fulfilled.[1]

While there's no shortage of old and new believers to keep the party going, along with plenty of developers working to create better, forked versions of bitcoin, I’m betting my chips on a more flexible alternative.
The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum,
[2] bitcoincash, litecoin and more......

2018 Will Be ....... Year’s? [Writer choose ethereum, what will be your choice?and why?]

Everyone is aware of the current bitcoin shortages with high transaction fee and long confirmation times. But you also have to remember from the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies, maybe only 20% are really used for a transaction. While the rest is an asset that continues to be held by the owner.

Therefore, I would say that 2017 is a reflection of the following years, even better than that. It's just a matter of time, when bitcoin will begin to show off its tread again.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU is mostly bought by miners rather than gamers. on: January 15, 2018, 11:40:23 AM
Read an article the other day that said that Nvidia gets 40% of its profits from selling to miners.

That's pretty big for Nvidia. I have also seen that the Nvidia corporation has experienced a significant rise from the $90 figure at the beginning of the year in 2017, and is now at $ 220. I believe this is influenced by the increasing demand for GPUs that I'm sure are dominated by miners. doesn't rule out GPU prices will continue to increase from now on because people have become more interested in mining.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GPU is mostly bought by miners rather than gamers. on: January 15, 2018, 10:51:52 AM
Unfortunately for someone like me who just realized how valuable an Nvidia GTX 1080Ti when it is still worth around $600 3 months ago. Currently, the price of GPU jumped about 30% from the previous price. In addition, GPU with certain types is very difficult to obtain. Is it true the miners who make the GPU market increasingly crowded? Thus, more GPUs are adopted by miners rather than gamers.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: January 14, 2018, 02:02:27 PM
"Augmented reality" is a very brilliant idea, and I think it will collaborate in many functions, such as image processing, pixel matching, object identifiers and more. I believe, this feature will be widely adopted by people. In addition, this feature can also be very helpful in biology, whether they already have this technology or not.

And one thing I need to underline if I'm not mistaken, that Lunyr has spent a lot of money to get into the market Binance, Bitrex, HitBTC and others. That is, this project has a very bright future.
