261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH break it's ATH? on: January 11, 2021, 03:07:11 PM
if ethereum will reach 1300$ level than, i believe, we will see how ethereum will break ath. but bitcoin hited his last ath more than two times. what if eth will hit 3000$?

We are still in the first month of the year, and the best is yet to come for Ethereum, everything depends on how good is the Eth 2.0 when it is roll up if it has positive feedback coming from the community, Ethereum could double at the current market price or even reach $3000, Eth 2.0 is what the community is been waiting for.
I think , correction will takes place, I don't see that eth will go higher today, there will be a slight changes before we can see the alt season, bitcoin is slowly dumping from 41kusd I think down to 36k today if this will continue I do hope that other altcoins will not be affected by this changes , it is normal that when bitcoin pumps, the value of other altcoin become lesser and have a dip sometimes.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a BTC portfolio gains millions of dollars... on: January 11, 2021, 11:52:48 AM
If a BTC portfolio gains millions of dollars, is it really that easy to just sell them on the exchange? They just let you deposit millions into your bank account? Or what do you do when you want to cash out?
I think, it will require you KYC before you can withdraw that amount, and I do not recommend to save 1m usd in a certain crypto exchange, better to use hardware wallet for better security, it will make you feel safe rather than in exchanges, no offense but few exchanges has already experienced attacks from hackers, yes your funds are safe but it is much better not to feel anxious because of that, or you may diversify your money into different exchanges.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 09, 2021, 10:33:55 AM
Advertisements are actually made to trap the people to use their service so those gambling sites gone bit extreme and tried to attract the underage people.Well a reputed gambling site can easily defend even if there is a lawsuit made against them with their money power so governments should bring strict regulations for advertisements as well if they really don't want such kind of ads which attract kids.
The Case here is that the target players ,it doesn't care if they lure all the gamblers in the world but the thing is there are Kids that being attracted over internet and they are the Most concern here .

Maybe regulations is one best need here.
If a kid or an adult gamble the only aim of a gambling owner is to make profits just like every other business owner.Regulations may put an end for creating such gambling ads but on the internet surely kids are seeing more pop-ups which are here for only adults even though the ad blocker is enabled so once we entered into internet world there is no actual barrier other than self control even if the user is a kid.

I just couldn't help but think about the risks that the child or kid may hit a bottom once an ads pop on their social media feeds. I just couldn't think precisely what should we suggest to be able to blocked those advertisements once a gadget user was a child or minor. This could be a great factor that the government should be bare in mind but the most factor was the guidance of the parents should always be there a 100%. It is true that there is no actual barrier.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 09, 2021, 09:38:29 AM
I see a lot of signature wearers discussing gambling quite frequently in this section of the board. I’m curious, what do you do with your signature campaign earnings? Do you support your advertiser and gamble it on their platform, save it, or spend it? I assume most people probably gamble it, and that’s why signature campaigns are able to be so generous, but maybe some users are taking advantage of the funds to help support themselves or even give back to charities or organizations they enjoy. If you have a good use for your earned signature campaign earnings, share it here, or even if you have a not so good use. Smiley
TBH, I tried doing all 3 of it. I gambled on their site some of my earnings, I also save some and currently holding but most importantly, I'm spending it since I'm the one who is paying some expenses here in our house.

I know that there are some who are gambling some of their earnings for some reason but I'm not a guy who is gambling too much. I'd rather spend that money in helping other people than other things since I really love helping other people Smiley. To all of us who are in a signature campaign who is earning BTC, know where you are putting your BTC with.

To add, I bought some of my gadgets that I'm using right now because of the earnings and I thank them Smiley.

I did the same thing too, as much as i wanted to gamble more i always set on my mind which important matter should be prioritize first. Like for example my earned profit from my past campaign which is gambling related i divided it into three, 50% on our families daily needs which due to pandemic there isn't have any work in any of our family member, 25% for my savings and 25% for gambling. I did buy my tools and gadgets which i brought using a product of my campaign.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 08, 2021, 01:27:09 PM
Just got curious does sports book website is not yet paying the bettors for placing bet on Joe Biden? Looks like the US was having a riot and everything seems not good I hope the bookies would be able to pay now their bettors.
Just take a look in some post above and you'll see that there are some who has already Paid and some are not .

Maybe the factor here is the Legit reputation  ofthe site where they Put the Bets , and How much they are gonna win after waiting this long , Month long waiting .

If legit reputation of the betting site will be the bottom line here why some of them has not yet released the money or prize for the winners then this might be a great concern for the bettors itself and sadly counted as their loses even if they have winned in their bets. It is the saddest part of betting once you've been got scammed by the betting site you've trusted to place your bet and hoping that you may get what you have deserve but then nothing will be given to you.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 08, 2021, 08:45:37 AM
Feel so sorry for your loss but that already happened and we couldn't turn the money back to you anymore, scammers are always there and will try to steal money from other people so be careful when transferring huge amount of money, maybe your device is already coped with a virus which helps those scammers steal your money, that is why using the 2FA is an important thing for everyone to avoid things like this.

Losing even a single cents of bitcoin today was such a huge loss and every cents count now due to all time high price and high deman of bitcoin. Well the things have already done and we can't undo it, i feel sorry about your lost but life must go on and so even trading and gambling. Let's take this as a lesson to everyone of us and learned from it. It is better to store your money in a hardwallet instead which i guess can secured your money in it.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 08, 2021, 06:05:38 AM
I am a proponent of the combined option of spending the money earned in this way.
Of course, I use most of my earnings as bets. Roll Eyes But after certain situations in my life I made a decision to always leave a small part for later, so sometimes I withdraw part of the money and save.
Although I admit that I often keep them in my stash for a little while... Grin

As much as i wanted too to keep my profit from signature campaign as my investment and savings but then i bet i deserve to try the site that i have been endorse all through my campaign. But in my own analysis of my earned profit i did divide it wisely as i can and having a high percentage to be placed on my savings and family needs. And even a small portion of my earning i alloted it to place my bet in my favorite esports.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investigative report: YouTube channels doing bitcoin scams on: January 08, 2021, 03:06:47 AM
I think it is mostly common sense to not get caught in these scams. People got to ask themselves why would anyone giveaway a 500% return with absolutely no work involved when the biggest hedge funds barely make 15-20%/ Year?

It is a matter of financial education in my opinion. It is rejuvenating to see more and more financial education channels and blog popping up.

It is inevitable that scammer will spreading untrue statement regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrency most especially how trendy the bitcoin market value today. It is so amazing that bitcoin surpasses a 2017 ATH and up to now it is still record breaking by the new ATH of $40000. If we will going back to the time that bitcoin were new and proving its economic worth people already link an issue to it as a scam and no doubt that people may use the trend of bitcoin to spread scam news.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 07, 2021, 04:17:49 PM
Why they hold the winning bets of their users? while its clearly seen on voting result that Biden wins. Maybe they have bad intention about that but maybe let see if they will pay out their winning bettors now since its a clear decision and trump can't protest that Biden is a true winner of this election. Sometimes I bet on that site but it's discouraging to see if even by now they will not pay them.
Well I'm also don't really know why Betfair postponed the pay out for the winner. If they are waiting for official statement from white house, that make sense. Let's see few days/week to go, maybe Betfair ready to pay them. Today I'm trying to find any source about the case but still not getting any clue

Well maybe the proper announcement or certification of the new elected US president was the reason why Betfair postponed the pay out of the winner but it does took so long for the winners to wait. Well it is also make sense to both the betting site and the bettors which make sense to wait and worth it. However, if we would compare it to other betting  sites which released the winners pay out a day ago after the election vote counting and preliminary announcing that Biden leads in the voting count higher than Trump.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 07, 2021, 01:17:51 PM
Conor is a fighter, he knows how to box, got a professional license in boxing, therefore I think he can survive with Mayweather though he cannot beat him. Mayweather is just too smart and too good, him fighting a non boxer gives him an edge, just like him cherry picking his opponent to stay undefeated.

This is an accusation I have heard a lot of times (especially from Pacquiao fans), that Mayweather cherrypicks his opponents in order to remain undefeated. I have to say that there is no basis to such allegations. Pacquiao challenged Mayweather for a fight, which the latter accepted in 2015. He defeated Pacquiao fair and square. Pacquiao wanted a rematch, but Mayweather disagreed, saying that he don't want to fight the same opponent again and again.

Cherry picking of Mayweather of who he will going to fight inside in the boxing ring for me has some sort of reality. But if Floyd did stand on what he has said to never wanted to have a rematch with the same opponent then we should respect his insights.

They have their own decision, let's just respect that and not all fans also likes to see a rematch, but personally, I like to see a rematch as there's no bigger fights in boxing now, Manny and Mayweather is going to give fans a lot of excitement if they'll fight, but since Mayweather believe he is done with Pacquiao, so we can't expect he will fight with him anymore, he will just focus on fighters that he hasn't fought before, even if it's an obvious win by him.
What i have intended to tell either Mayweather has the intention to instill in himself the title of being undefeated fighter or whatsoever his reason behind he has it. But to be honest a rematch of Mayweather and Pacquiao fight was a good fight to watch for in case.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 07, 2021, 11:03:58 AM
I don’t know who needs to see this but hey it’s finally over as Biden has officially won, and now your sports book can no longer hide or make any excuses about not releasing your payment if you had wagered on Biden. It’s been a long stressful waiting period for you’ll, but now make sure that you’re paid, or post here if the casinos don’t pay so we all can know that they’re a scam site, and we all can then stay away from them.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/congress-begin-electoral-vote-count-amid-protests-inside-outside-capitol-n1253013

Joe Biden officially won and sportsbook officials must pay the bettors in favour of Biden which in fact these should be given away the time where the official election result released but since unfortunately the election result was being questioned by Trump camp. And yes the certification of Joe Biden to be announced as new US president leads the pro Trump citizens to protests in the capitol of the US.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying right now ? on: January 06, 2021, 04:40:26 PM
To be honest I want to invest right now but the problem is the timing. It is still pandemic and there are a lot of things I should consider first including my family and my partner. Things we needed are getting expensive and to survive this we need to disregard the things that we want and just buy what we needed. I can't invest not because I don't want to, but because I can't.

Which i guess doesn't sound as the right time to invest. I'll bet everyone wanted to invest in bitcoin and even as much as i am but the most probable thing that everyone was considering was of course the high value of bitcoin. As much as we wanted to have a bitcoin in our own but if the main concern that we are facing was the high value of single bitcoin will become on top concern. But if you have your own capabilities to afford to buy a single bitcoin then it wouldn't be an issue i guess.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: January 06, 2021, 02:49:29 PM
I don't think that there would ever be such service it is like convincing people to be a gambler without a fear of losing.
If they couldn't control their own bets then they should stop gambling or they would justbe destroyed due to addiction.

Exactly, that is the basic philosphy they need to follow because who can give insurance to people who are gambling, it is not possible on the earth to provide insurance for the gamblers, it is their wish whether to gamble or not if a person doesn't have controls how can sustain his family needs.

As much as we wanted to have a privilege to cut our loses or save our loses by having such insurance company that can save our loses but then there is no such thing like this.  It isn't possible to happen and isn't possible that an insurance company may provide such chance.

There is a certain condition or requirement for this. It's not an automatic payout of the supposed percentage of what is lost.

A good feature but we can't hide the fact that this isn't an attractive one.

Well if its the case i guess it is much better to have a cashback even a small amount but on the other hand these cashback wouldn't cover what you have lose and these was a simple easing the feeling of losing while gambling.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 06, 2021, 11:52:56 AM
You would definitely get different opinions in the forum on what they are doing with their signature earnings like my self when I get my earnings I immediately cut it, 20% will go to sports bets  50% will go on Hodl, and 30% will become money for consumption, but that is not really accurate because there are times that it will just all go to Hodling, but in times 50/50 to consumption and Hodl.

Exactly because we have our own needs that we need to meet in our life especially at this time of pandemic. Maybe some of us here used their signature campaign earnings to sustain their needs in life and some of us here uses their earnings to gambling and for me it is all fine since we  have our own needs. At some point, i am a signature campaign earner that uses my earnings in both. I used it to sustain our family needs and after i met our needs i used the left earning i have to gamble it.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 06, 2021, 01:07:38 AM
It's always depends on the gambler if they will make it as a real profession or just an entertainment for them. If you are very good on gambling why you will not make it as an real profession if you are earning well on it? Winning and earning money is the main reason why people are gambling so just make it an profession and do what you really want.

We do have our own intentions why we have here in gambling society but for mw my real intentions was aside from entertaining myself i am also aiming for a profit of course. For me being good as a gambler means you are being capable to accept whatever may the result of your gambling and move on from it. it doesn't cost you to become professionally well played gambler. But it is true that there are some of the gamblers that are very good in it and can be classified as a professional and i was thinking how they made it.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: January 05, 2021, 03:28:49 PM
AS what I have seen in the article I've read and I believe the source of OP: article, Australia could really be the rank one at biggest countries that gamble the most. Why? Because it provides all kinds of entertainment starting from slots, cards, betting, and lotteries.
The article that you have mentioned was last 2019 and we gonna expect changes this time especially when the pandemic started. It possible more people are making online has gambling habits. And as I keep searching online, there is no latest result about which country is taking the lead because it probably not Australia anymore, or somewhat coming from the US.
But still, those countries that are accustomed to gambling are very likely to have higher levels of gambling during the pandemic, it is unlikely that countries that are not accustomed to gambling will increase in gambling so fast. Even though with the pandemic I'm sure the changes won't be significant, rank one, two or maybe three, I think it's the same because it's still in the top rankings and that's not a problem with the data because it's proven that several sources give different results too.

Exactly, it doesn't mean that the data was gathered a year past we can't just utter that these weren't reliable already or fitted to what the current ranking of top countries in gambling. These countries were already a good country for gambling and this pandemic i guess will just make a big impact to boom the economy of gambling at that certain point. It is a big impact for the community of gambling that despite of pandemic the economy of gambling still operated and alive via online.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: January 05, 2021, 09:59:21 AM
i think the first chart is more accurate because they dont list china but on the second chart they list china and it place on the second spot but faik china has a strong restriction when it comes to gambling within thier country but i heard that china or chinese is the number one supplier of gambling machines in most parts of the world and they also run and own a gambling business outside .
Indeed, that is also what I am thinking, Gambling in China is illegal, any form of gambling, such as online gambling and casino gambling is considered illegal so I am wondering why China includes in the 2nd rank of countries that gambling the most, wherein the law for that things is really restricted. Maybe it is all about those people in China who gambling in a secret place or a little gambling in the street because gambling is still popular even though it is illegal.

Even if gambling is illegal in China, that doesn't mean people in that country will stop gambling. As we know that gambling is part of people's lives, they will try to gamble in a hidden place like what we heard or watch on the television. But I am sure that the number of people who gamble in the other country will be bigger too, but the media do not expose the number.

Here in our country cockfighting and any gambling related which assembles people in a certain area due to pandemic were highly prohibited but the nature of people and as a gambler no regulations hinder what the call of gambling is. Gambling were already part of the lives of gambler and the government couldn't control it by just reading its regulations. But look what other country's do to gambling today, they supported it for it become their source of income from the taxes that they have collected from gambling.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi on Bitcoin on: January 03, 2021, 05:25:27 PM
Since I invested in some defi, I think bitcoin price will not affect the operations of it  nor the hype of it, most of the De-Fi projects now are turning into scam, much even now because eth is nearly 1kusd since most of the are eth based token,  I don't know if there will be a defi project that we use bitcoin as their blockchain contract, because of the fees, and also some of them offers farming and staking. So if they will gonna use btc instead of eth, I think it is much more expensive.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you ever bet on SRL events? on: January 03, 2021, 03:21:06 PM
What could be said about a game that's programmed to game esteem gamblers in the platform, though this is the very first time i have see a game like this. Personally what i do consider before making move to game in any gambling platform is the fairness of the game before my conviction to join, but this game isn't such and won't whatsoever join the game soon till a conviction.
I am not a fan of this as well , and I don't know how to play it, so I am just reading some insights in here, but yes we should really consider the fairness of the game, since I think this game is new to everyone we should be careful when trying to bet, just bet a small amount so you can be familiarize on it, and then when you think that the fairness of this is best then I think you should go forward.

Quite interesting to me but I keep myself being practical when it comes to gambling and should choose those games that are familiar to me.
I was been following sports particularly basketball, local and national matches. I was familiar with each team that basically gives me some hints on which team I should have to put on and big chances to win either.
That obviously wanted to win and that seems the best thing to do than have to try different.

Yes this is  very interesting and quite new for us, this is another way to gamble I think by using real time or real case scenarios.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 03, 2021, 02:35:58 PM
That's too painful, you got robbed instantly, the moment you deposited that amount, it is kinda big actually, anyway I think maybe you click some phishing emails that has been sent in your account, and that thing is the reason why you got hacked, or it could be also you password vulnerability, maybe your password is somehow similar to your personal info maybe bdays or what, or inside job can be a reason as well, it is just sad that even you helped them to fix their bugs they cannot do anything, well yes they cannot do anything to that just always use 2FA, and remember they are just businessman so even you did a good job before and sent back 33btc I think you should get it, because you've earned it.
