263  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoind sendtoaddress dosen't work on: May 05, 2014, 08:59:29 AM
Hello everyone.

i have bitcoind installed on VPS debian server.
My site communicate with bitcoind via PHP RPC-JSON, it works great, i can check getinfo(), receving amount etc.
I would like to send coins to my blockchain wallet, but when i tried to call $bitcoind->sendtoaddress(amount,address,comment1,commen2), i got an 500 internal error.

Code:
Warning: fopen(http://...@127.0.0.1:8332/): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error in D:\xampp\htdocs\bitcoind2\JsonRPCClient.php on line 141

I read some article over internet, maybe i have to unlock my bitcoind wallet before i would like to use sendtoaddress() Huh

What is your Bitcoin-Qt / bitcoind released version?

269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be Giving Your Mom some BTC for Mothers Day? on: May 05, 2014, 06:41:32 AM
If you wait until BTC is less risky and easier to use, then it might be a lot more expensive.
Will you be Giving Your Mom some BTC for Mothers Day?

I was thinking about that too. But I wonder if ordering some books from amazon or something. But Bitcoin are still rising. Giving Bitcoins makes more sense.

271  Economy / Speculation / Re: China Ban is a NOW a bullish Signal on: May 05, 2014, 06:14:05 AM
Please keep in mind barter is not banned in China. No one is stopping you from bartering your goods for bitcoins in China. There's no proof is that the merchants that have stopped accepting bitcoins have said that they are not sure if merchants can or can not accept bitcoins.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Naked Short Selling on: May 05, 2014, 05:56:53 AM
As long as you buy back at the right time just like any speculative investment? How about sell all your holdings at 440 buy back at 350? Anyway bitcoin is 100% pure unadulterated speculation at this point. Anybody that thinks their making an good investment doesnt understand what's happening with bitcoin right here and now.?

274  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if BTC was accepted for gasoline? on: May 05, 2014, 05:10:42 AM
Yes, I get what you are saying, but the benefit the the gasoline station will get would be great. If the gasoline station do it, it maybe rather be because of a technical debate, rather than a profit motive.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: May 05, 2014, 05:07:21 AM
About Bitcoin Inflation - Bitcoin is not trying to be a Dollar or a Euro. It is not a political device for promoting and manipulating the national economy. I will spend dollars on it, not BTC. In fact, until there are honey sellers that only accept BTC and I will use dollars.
276  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Holy crap I found a block! on: May 05, 2014, 04:14:18 AM

The machine takes cash only, and can either add your purchase directly to an existing digital wallet, or give you a piece of paper with codes that allow you to do so later, once you’ve set the wallet up. It does not dispense cash in exchange for a user’s coin.

“Currently, buying Bitcoin online is very lengthy and time consuming. First you have to go to the bank and get your account authorized for the online exchange, or you have to get a wire transfer. Both of those cost money, both of those take time.
279  Bitcoin / Press / [2014-05-05] Bitcoin Price, Sean’s Outpost, Operation Choke Point, and More on: May 05, 2014, 03:56:09 AM
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/bitcoin-news-review-bitcoin-price-seans-outpost-operation-choke-point/2014/05/04

Bitcoin is considered by many to be one of the most volatile investments possible. However, for the past few weeks, the price seems to have been dancing around $450 on most exchanges. Despite this short-term stability, CCN’s Venzen Khaosan predicts another price drop before BTC starts taking off again. Bitcoin price is difficult to analyse and predict since the currency is so new. There are several external factors that can have huge impacts on the price, although the external factor effect seems to be declining recently. What do you think? Will bitcoin make it to the moon?
