261  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not make gambling the only activity you do for fun. on: May 21, 2024, 08:56:53 PM
If you are gambling for fun, It will be better to have many other activities (options) that you can catch fun on, so you do not always have to gamble whenever you think of having fun.
Isn’t this true about anything? Regardless of harmful or not, everyone should have a limit. With whatever you do, it’s best to keep some time for yourself and rest. Stay away from that activity for a while.

This goes the same way for drinking as well. You can have fun without having to drink and you just need to teach yourself exactly that.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use decentralized bitcoin in a centralized way? on: May 21, 2024, 08:53:30 PM
-snip-

I do not want to use bitcoin the centralized way, I want to have total control of my coins and be my own bank. Is this difficult to achieve? Are there prices I have to pay or is everyone eventually moving to the centralized way?
Choosing to use Bitcoin means we want freedom over our money.
The freedom we get because we are in full control has its unique nature, so its use is very different from other payment systems.

Most people in here would consider bitcoin to be the safer option compared to centralized banks. Banks are very sneaky and has lots of mysterious fees. Not to mention the crazy interest they put on everything. It’s one of the many reasons why people was attracted towards bitcoin. The convenience of exchange as well as the privacy and anonymity it provides.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC miners income decline or will sell BTC to maintain operations on: May 21, 2024, 08:50:28 PM
That's a very bad translation job. The disconnected sentences imply to me that an image was translated using something like Google Lens.
You’re correct. The random cut off and capitalization is a very telling sign.

The drop in transaction fees and benefits has forced miners to consider selling bits
Coins to cover operating costs.
Bits coins? Seriously.

I did understand it so anyway yes with the mining rewards cut in half, miners now look for other ways to earn. This can further increase the transaction fees required as more and more miners will be turning away from verifying transactions. Needless to say, they need to be met with more incentives.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest 5k€ in 5 coins - good selection? on: May 21, 2024, 08:34:24 PM
In my opinion, coins that are worthy and potential to invest in are Binance, Ethereum, TON Coin, Solana and Polygon (MATIC), and if you have 5k then convert your money to 1K for each altcoin, and I am very optimistic that these five altcoins can provide profit in the future.
BNB, ETH, and SOL are the safest bets in my opinion. They have already established themselves as one of the top altcoins and are often considered to be next in line with bitcoin. They also seem to exhibit a relatively stable price as of now. I would personally increase the amount I’d invest in three coins.

1k wouldn’t be my choice as I am not yet that familiar with the two other coins and therefore cannot give my opinion.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE on the way of taking Memecoin crown on: May 21, 2024, 08:28:37 PM
PEPE consistently is the third largest memecoin by marketcap. PEPE has had an impressive growth of 30% in last 24 hours outperforming every popular coins. Not only they lead on price rise but for few days, they are the most traded memecoins overtaking Dogecoin. This increase in volume implies a price change that's happening at the moment. Their market cap is still one third of Shiba Inu and have a good possibility of rise. With so many people accumulating PEPE, do you see them dethroning Shiba Inu and Dogecoin to reach the top place for memecoin.
I think we should slow down and look at the overall scene. Yes, it is growing in price right now but those are the key words: right now.

I think we should just live in the present and try to maximize this growth without thinking of things like dethroning other memecoins. We might be boosting too much of it for it to drop again and to never rise until at least after a few months again.
266  Other / Off-topic / Re: What moment made you decide to turn your life over again? on: May 21, 2024, 09:31:44 AM
At which moment did you abandon your original life and challenge the unknown?
i don't  think there is abandonment that happened instead there is a revision of the original plan to what i run in the later , when i become gambling active me and my wife keeps having argument to the extent that we almost got separated.

so this what change my plans and yeah do a diversion and help me settle for much better future now.
267  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 21, 2024, 09:21:58 AM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?
Do you have a wife? if does then better talk to her for how much are you carry to rik and lose for your gambling activities .

but if you are still single? then better ask your self if what is your future plans , because it is you that will suffer in the sooner time.

remember that n gambling there are no rewind , you cannot bring back the funds that you have already lose.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 21, 2024, 08:54:11 AM
we know that apart from the fun that some gamblers enjoy while gambling, the majority of others gamble basically because they want to make money from gambling, and in doing this, I have come to notice that gambling stories play a great role in determining if a gambler will reduce his gambling, go more aggressive in terms of the amount used in gambling or even quite gambling momentarily.
because gambling is where we can generate more money from small capital in short time but the problem is
about the risk and the consequences.

Quote
I've read and watched stories of people who hit a big jackpot and from a first-person point of view, the first thing that comes to mind is that " I wish I was the lucky person" and the effect of such an experience has always been to keep trying with the hope that I might get lucky to win my jackpot.
but this does not affect me because never that i Won jackpot or huge so maybe i have nothing to contribute from this part of thread.

Quote
I just want to know, How have jackpot stories affected your gambling routine?

Have you ever increased the amount you normally used in betting just because someone you know won big by betting with a greater amount?

but once I won 30x of my capital in a day , but yeah i increased my bet from that and ending losing everything.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: May 21, 2024, 08:42:25 AM
As far as I am concerned, every form of gambling has different levels of addiction, and it depends on how individuals handle the addiction, some will definitely take it more than others, that level is not something we can measure until it unfolds and we see it, but how many can we see?

There are some people that believe in gambling with 50% of their mind and there are some who believe in gambling with 100% of their minds, the higher the believes they have in gambling the massive their level of addiction will be if they ever get addicted one way or the other, it doesn't have to be sports bets or Dice games, gambling is gambling and addiction is addiction.

Your view is correct that all types of gambling games have the potential to make a gambler addicted, but usually games that provide fast money such as slots or dice are types of gambling games that can make someone an addict more quickly and precisely.  For this reason, all gamblers need to anticipate that their gambling activities do not cause them to become gambling addicts, as usual, being a responsible gambler is highly recommended.
and not counting that people have different attitude and characters because some
people do love long running games like card game and because for them this is more fun and exciting.
and also you are correct that every gambling are addicting only depend on which game will lure that players into addiction.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shops now accept BTC on: May 21, 2024, 08:30:02 AM
So you will have to find out how far bitcoin has gone, sooner buddy! Before it has a big community like this forum you should know it's not kidding right?
It can certainly shock someone especially someone who was kind of out of the news or just someone not as updated about current innovations to see how Bitcoin has taken the world by storm.

There was a time where bitcoin or digital currency was considered a scam back then so to see how far it has come now to the point of not only using it for investment purposes but also using it as a daily method of payment. We are about to see more of that in later years.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: May 20, 2024, 11:50:26 PM
Why should influencers promote memecoins when they know that there is no guarantee with memecoins.
You have to understand that many influencers don’t even care nor understand crypto at all. Why should they care whether a specific project can actually bring you profit? All they care about is how they are the ones earning from sponsorship deals.
Quote
I mean a altcoin that doesn't have any Whitepaper roadmap even any use! Just created for fun.
Influencers hop on anything trending. They gain followers if they do something fun or entertaining and if it means making or promoting a memecoin then they will do it.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 20, 2024, 11:32:47 PM
These are all good meme coins so one can choose these coins with the little amount because putting huge amounts in meme coins is not a wise choice. Nowadays meme coins are surging therefore people are wishing to put all their amount in meme coins but they have to remember that meme coins are not always in the surging position.
You’d be lucky to find a memecoin that is “surging”. If you were to buy a coin before everyone else, there’s really no guarantee that that coin will grow in the future. And if you buy a coin that is already increasing there’s also no guarantee that it would continue. It could drop in any second and memecoins are very risky in that sense.

Just try to pick out the best possible coins to that could give you the most returns but investing in most of them would not give you a higher chance of success.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network Token is to be listed in Binance Soon. on: May 20, 2024, 11:26:43 PM
I won't be surprised if many will be discouraged and misled by threads like this. Coming from an unknown source or link, many won't believe on this. In fact, PI network has been considered as a scam project by many.

if anyone should announce it, it should be binance but i doubt this scam will be listed in Binance.
Exactly, many will be misled by this and I don't want to cut the fun of the holders of it but it's terrible and I'm sorry guys don't be gullible.
As investors, we should be the most cautious and careful with these kind of things. Scams and hacks also come in the form of misinformation so if you easily believe these kind of things then consider yourself lost already. With that mindset you are most likely to fall victims to all kinds of fraud.

We are dealing with money and technology here and it’s important to learn about critical thinking and analysis skills.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge Mellor's Judgement on Craig Wright (not) being Satoshi on: May 20, 2024, 11:15:05 PM
Besides this case, I think it was only a public stunt, to gain investors, and to create a community as we all know what's the worth of a community. If you have too many followers then you are already earning money in this era.
Unfortunately, that’s how it works in the world right now.

Any publicity even if negative is still publicity and no matter what it is that made you famous you are still famous and various media outlets and other reporters would want a word from you. Don’t even be surprised if Netflix creates a documentary of him.
Quote
That's what he might be up to, but as a computer scientist and businessman, I don't think he adopted a good or morale way to make money, although I still consider this way a good one to make more money. Actually he also introduced his coin as well BSV.
Well satoshi had created something so wonderful and people want to own it. But they can’t and they wish it was them who had created it but they weren’t and there won’t be anything like bitcoin in the future.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC never for sale? on: May 20, 2024, 11:06:02 PM
many of us have realized that the power of BTC as a store of value is more valuable than of being used to spend it to anything you want and use it as a currency. No one stops us from using either of it because they're contributing to the actual economy of Bitcoin. And as a holder of it, you are the one to determine where and when you want to spend it, no one will kick you down to spend your holdings. We're not as big as the institutions that they are free to dispose it anytime they want and that's why we're giving importance to what we have and the decision that we'll in the future is going to determine a big change for our lives.
While it is true that many people have found bitcoin to be a very valuable investment it wasn’t intended to be used like this. This is why many people still push the idea of worldwide adoption of bitcoin as a currency so that we can use it for daily transactions and whatnot.

Many people still want to buy pizzas with bitcoin so while there are a lot of holders of bitcoin, there are also those who use bitcoin for transactions.
276  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine peso Stablecoin on: May 20, 2024, 12:38:39 PM

277  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the Worst online Casino you've played on so far? on: May 20, 2024, 11:36:03 AM
If a gambling casino is not being up to the required standard, gamblers will not find it interesting to use for their preferred gambling platform, we are more centered on seeing that each gambling platform we make use of are having the required service satisfaction on gamblers, gamblers seems to see a casino as being the worst each time they were unable to make withdrawal or perform any task on their site.
I know that we as gamblers must know which casino to deal with because our deposits may not be taken out once we mistakenly deposit in scam casino that will keep hold our funds .
but what this thread asks is about worst casino experience ? though i once experienced delay in withdrawal but its resolved just in a day means this is not about being worst , this means I am not sharing any one as i never experienced even one case of being worst.
There are a lot of casino sites in this forum and they are discussed a lot so it is very easy for us who use this forum to choose a good casino site. I always do a lot of research on casino sites before I use them because gambling is an interesting thing that people get involved in very quickly. And because of this, scanners take advantage of this and try to scam gamblers. Because of this, before choosing a casino site you should do your research which I do. And I always choose the site from the casino sites promoted in this forum.  So I haven't had a worst online casino playing experience so far
exactly mate , because what we only need to do is surf this section and we will find what is best and better site to deal with because we can directly see what is the status of each sites.
and also we can verify in each players shared experience to what is the site status because ever site has their own accusation but the best way to understand is how they handle each issues and how they wanted to deal with each account.
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 20, 2024, 11:17:16 AM
well that is the problem when a casino is just starting and have already delayed cases then what more in the bigger prizes ? i think this type will cater them issues and may lure out gamblers because reputation must be develop from the start and I we have seen this type and those gamblers did not progress in long time.

This is not about the reputation of the casino, i am concerned about the reputation of the person that is managing the casino shop. If it is the way this is done in my country, a casino can allow an individual to be their agent by allowing the agent to start a shop in the name of that casino and people will be coming to gamble while he will be paid by the casino owners but if any customer win a huge amount, he will contact the casino to release the money to him to pay off to customers. In that case, the casino have already released the money to the casino manager and he should be hold responsibile for the loss and not to question the reputation of the casino.
this is the problem if you are playing in casino boot , and not in legit and casino houses when there are no
extended manager but instead the floor and operation manager only, not sure if there is such place in my
country because here if you wanted to play in casino then you should go in their big house , and if you don't
want to experience this kind? then better to consider playing in online casino but of course those reputable only to prevent from being scammed.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 20, 2024, 11:07:53 AM
In my opinion, the best altcoins to invest in right now are ethereum and binance, because these two altcoins have a very large community and popularity in the crypto market so they have the potential to provide very high profits in the future, especially now is the right time to start investing with ETH and BNB because the prices are still very affordable.
The altcoins you mentioned are some of the most invested altcoins after Bitcoin but don't you think there are other altcoins that have value like them? It must not be the most traded altcoins on coinmarketcap, there are lots of coins with potential and by now i think most investors have already invested in ETH and BNB. They are looking for new and trust worthy altcoins that they need to catch up while it is still early. Being an early bird adopter is the most profiting aspect in altcoins.
We ought to buy good tokens so we can make profits not buying already established altcoins that do not have much movement again in the market. There are still some low market cap altcoins that could multiply our holdings.
I like buying low market cap tokens since it has good potential of giving me quick cash so that I can always take profits and invest in other good.projects in rye market. We ought to diversify our investment so we don't get hooked along the way.
Unfortunately this is a risk that not a lot of people can take. Low market cap tokens can indeed give you huge returns but can also give you huge losses. So this is usually just done by experts or those really knowledgeable about the market and can make decisions under extreme pressure and quick times. For a beginner to do this will be a nightmare. So unless you know what you are doing, you may want to steer away from this kind of method for now.
280  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pains and joy all together looking for way to balance it. on: May 20, 2024, 10:57:23 AM
This topic remind me of so many things that has happened in the past how can we do it  if someone is in a situation of pain and joy ,all we need is results, but in actually sence pain 😩 is pain and joy is joy but they came together how can one balance the situations.
With life experiences, there is joy for every ending of the pain. I'm not sure what kind of pain you're going through.

But remember that it's not always pain that you'll feel. Take time to realize of what you have and be grateful for them, there's joy in it trust me.
Sure but the other side which is pain 😩 is eating me up gradually, and I never feel or think of to give up on them at all , balancing it is just what am actually searching for .
It might be easier said than done but I would tell you to focus on the brighter side. Things might seem hard and all but it would help if you did not focus on everything that is wrong. If you were to do that, you are going to become more miserable and depressed.

Go out go for a walk and find things to be grateful for.
