261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Innovative methods or technologies" on: March 27, 2024, 12:56:47 AM
What innovative methods or technologies do you foresee emerging within the Bitcoin ecosystem over the next decade to enhance both its scalability and environmental sustainability, while maintaining its core principles of decentralization and security?

I truly appreciate your feedback!

Not sure about it though, there are L2 solutions already in place. And as much as we like to see changes in Bitcoin, core developers will have to come up with consensus and it's not going to be easy.

For environmental sustainability, it's not Bitcoin per se, but those who produces mining hardware and what renewable sources this miners are going to used as this is one attacks that anti-Bitcoin is when they try to picture it as the one hurting the environment as it consumes a lot of energy for mining.

Some years back,a question like this came up,What is the purpose of bitcoin? And now this...
Bitcoin was created as a way for people to send money over the internet. The digital currency was intended to provide an alternative payment system that would operate free of central control.

To be honest,I can't really think of anything right now.Does bitcoin have another purposes or intentions to promote and boost the technological sector other than been a digital currency that aims to eliminate the need for central authorities such as banks or governments.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 27, 2024, 12:45:43 AM
The only set of people that are ever going to lose in this bitcoin game are those who sell when the time is not yet right. I mean, those who bought at a high price, but due to market conditions, out of fear, they sold out their holdings and ended up recording losses.

No matter how much one ends up buying bitcoin, it's never going to lead to regrets. As long as the person in question bought the bitcoin with a small amount of his assets and can hold it for a very long period of time, they will eventually reap the fruit of their holdings. It's just a matter of time, which might seem to be taking forever, but with time they will gradually get to when they will take profit from their holdings.
The fact that you chose bitcoin over altcoins and shitcoins, that thought alone is not regrettable at all. Just  patiently hold your bitcoin and never be attracted to FUDs and FOMO in the market so you won’t end up losing your future profits. Bitcoin is for long term while altcoins are for short term, if you internalized this, you will never regretting hodling bitcoin. But set your target selling price of course so you won’t stay hodling for the rest of your life.

I simply agree, and I'll choose bitcoin over and over again;By HODLing, you allow your investment to grow over time, which can lead to significant profits in the future. In essence, holding Bitcoin can be the key to financial freedom and how it can revolutionize your approach to building and accumulating wealth.

Understanding Bitcoin and its value simply has great benefits attached to it,by educating yourself, developing a working strategic plan, and practicing risk management, you can live up to your financial goals and financial freedom.Bitcoin is always growing in acceptance, become  educative, follow the system and enjoy hodling bitcoin.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upon the death of a bitcoin user. on: March 27, 2024, 12:27:30 AM
I have come to stay in this community and thought of one thing which has been bothering me.
Relating from our traditional banks where a bank customer dies and all his assets remains unclaimed by his relatives. I was once told that there was a bank manager who withdrew funds from there customer dormant accounts hopefully that the owners are dead as those account has been dormant for years without any form of activity on the account, it happens when no relative knows about the account for them to lay claims.
Similarly to bitcoin what happens in the event of my dismissal since no relative knows about my investment. It doesn't really make sense if my family can't enjoy my wealth. Will it be lost or is it good to entrust someone incase I'm no longer there?

If you're that worried about the security of your wealth when you pass on,just look out to someone who you can gladly entrust this stuffs into and put them in charge.Because if you eventually dies, banks will use money to pay off any debts to creditors you owe, and any remaining cash will go towards your beneficiaries who will either be people you've chosen.

It's actually a good idea to recruit someone, maybe a sibling or it must be someone that you trust with your savings, investment and financial statements to be precise.
If you're that worried, then make sure to document this things for easy access and clarification I think that would help.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and it's holders in our society on: March 27, 2024, 12:05:00 AM

It is not to equate cryptocurrency ownership with fraud. This approach is biased and serves ulterior motives. There's a concern that authorities might be seeking this information to exploit individuals.  While protecting our portfolios from such practices is crucial, we also need to be mindful of general security measures. True money launderers are likely within the system, not low-income cryptocurrency traders. The government's focus should be on identifying them, as with the Binance case. Disrupting legitimate peer-to-peer trade only harms ordinary citizens.

Bitcoin helped radically redefine money and trust. On the blockchain, Bitcoin offered an entirely new type of financial asset. It was more secure and direct than any traditional banking option, elevating how we considered the financial sector as a society.

In other words, bitcoin increases and bitcoin has inspired a revolution like no other, rapidly transforming various aspects of the global economy. The traditional financial systems give governments the absolute powers to control how people manage their wealth and finances.
Governments will literally use supremacy  power as their tool  and authority to control and track people spending.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore Financial accountability to your detriment on: March 26, 2024, 09:40:06 PM
It can never be reiterated enough about how important the need to be financially responsible. Individuals who aren’t financially responsible simply cannot make and go through with a set plan. The money set aside for such plans would be squandered on something else putting the plan on hold indefinitely.
We’ve just got to make better financial choices.

I think people who actually worked hard and long for their bread won’t eat it all in one bite. While literally anyone could be financially irresponsible, I would say a good percent of people who came into money either by inheritance or winning the lotto and didn’t put in any work for it tend to be irresponsible about their finances.

That's why investors and financial practitioners would suggests that you use or put your money into things that'll generate more income for you.Having a balanced financial accountability is crucial especially when you want to be in charge of your finances in terms of decision making and actions.

That's why they say knowledge is power.Being able to take responsibility of your financial situation and understanding the importance of financial accountability helps individuals and organizations make choices, avoid unnecessary risks, and achieve long-term financial goals and stability.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Hardship as a global problem on: March 26, 2024, 08:33:27 PM
Currently in the world today.hardship is every where, it is not just a country problem but a universal phenomenon that is occurring rapidly. It is clearly seen that people are literally not able to eat even a square meal for a day. Especially those in under developed countries.hardship which is now a global spread has taken its roots in the world today. We now seat and face our day to day survival with no hope of what would happen next. Sincerely I think this great problem can be resolved if nations could come together and create a universal solution to it

To be honest with you, that time for nations to come together and resolve such crisis will not or never hold/commence.My advice to anyone who believes this shit statement is to find a means to meet your needs without any interruption whether legal or illegal.
We keep hoping for a change but the only available change will possibly come from us,individually, trying to figure out and configure possible solutions for personal growth and progress.

Unfortunately, this is not a realistic idea to ascertain at this point in time. The government can be looking forward to carry out thier mischievous plans to disappoint and abandon  people and they'll bodly call it or say thier initiating progress to the society.
267  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can you trust more to handle your business, man or woman? on: March 26, 2024, 08:06:28 PM
Am sure many arguments have ensued from the disparity in management that both gender, the man and the woman, can bring to the table as regards managing a business to scale heights of progress.
While a man is preferred for some, in order cases, the women are more favorite to handle top management positions due to their multitasking ability or dedication to vision of the company that's unwavering.

* If you intend to start your business or you already do and are looking for the best candidate to fill the top management position, would you trust a man or a woman to handle the affairs of the business?

* What reasons would you suggest are right, for picking and trusting a particular gender to handle a top management position of your business?

Let's discuss!
Each specie has different derivatives and speculations on how manage and handle business. In most cases, males could do better than the females and vice versa.
To me I feel like its not even the gender,it doesn't depend on the gender. The success attained, the numerous level of progress, and the unending progressive movement/running of the company or organization is not from having a man or woman as your business manager.
All these intentionally requires more  ranging from ones understanding of how the business is to be runner, the required qualifications and whereas the experience that'll meet the standards and promote the affairs of the business.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Supercycle could become reality on: March 25, 2024, 05:56:34 PM

this supercycle has been talked about years ago. cool to see it will be possible already by how the market is doing this year that we hit the previous ATH without the halving. we normally get this after halving so it is amazing how this will carry on.  I'm sure the ETFs have something to do with this, it's not just BlackRock that's buying up so yes I'm gonna be hoping it will really happen. who wouldn't want that?

when baby boomers are trying to buy some BTC, i suppose we're already heading there.

The  bitcoin analysts will know when the supercycle will eventually commence,The supercycle evolution is going to be interesting that crypto is on the verge of a complete rise in mass adoption.

The emergence of bitcoin supercycle has been talked about for so long and it literally seems to be happening anytime soon. The pathway that bitcoin is creating for it's users is incredibly undeniable.
The supercycle is welcoming everyone into another realm full of expectations and excitement.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 25, 2024, 05:09:43 PM
Agriculture is very important for every country. Without agriculture it is not possible to ensure the food of a country.  But these days people have started looking at agriculture in a bad light. According to people, agriculture is the work of the poor. But they don't know how much success can be achieved by doing agriculture with modern technology. And if it is possible to produce different crops in one's own country, it is very beneficial for the country. Govt.  Agricultural training should be provided and loans at low or no interest should be given to agricultural entrepreneurs.
no

Basically, agriculture offers lots of opportunities and ease to individuals and the society at large,if there are individuals with high interest  for growth and also to lessen hunger and uncontrollable strife amongst community members, agriculture valued individuals will eventually make more income which is generated from agriculture. And it will contributes to lower levels of poverty in rural areas.

Farming/agriculture has an Important role to play for the growth of any economy of any country,Since agriculture is considered to be a provider of food, human existence depends completely on it.It provides food, employment, raw materials for industry, foreign exchange, and livestock support.
The agricultural industry is considered to be one of the biggest sources of employment.Depending on the type of farming, but it doesn't matter.Provided it has created It is a source for making money,Whether it’s working as a farmer, harvester, equipment technician and plant scientist,or any other form of employment, agriculture provides employment opportunities to a huge number of people reducing the percentage of unemployment, hardship and poverty and that's something that shouldn't be regarded with zero interests.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Global wealth preservation" on: March 25, 2024, 04:40:34 PM
In what ways do the historical narratives and cultural perceptions surrounding gold as a traditional store of value intersect with the emerging narrative and evolving cultural perception of Bitcoin as a digital store of value, and how might these intersections shape the future landscape of global wealth preservation?

Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives!

Bitcoin and gold are two different valuable assets, with different purposes to humanity, financial technology and to the real world at large.

Another area in which Bitcoin and gold differ is utility—these assets have vastly different use-cases in the real world.

Historically, gold has been used as both a currency and as raw material for the production of jewelry. It has also found use in luxury items, electronics, and dentistry. One of the most important industrial uses of gold is the manufacture of electronics.

However, bitcoin on the other hand, has little use and functionality in the real world, compared to gold, but has more applications in financial aspects.

271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a scam on: March 25, 2024, 01:53:20 PM
It's  so funny  that at this stage and century , some people still believe that Bitcoin  is a scam after it has proven itself  over and over  which has led to it's massive adoption.
It is now no longer just funny but now it is just a pitiable situation because anyone having that kind of believe is clearly outdated with information and is clearly showing an actual absence in the ability to  check and verify whatever they know from the internet.

Do not stress yourself about this sort of individuals because if you have tried talking to them and they shown signs of belligerence you better let them be and focus on your own investment which is more important.

Personally,I think bitcoin remains a scam to whoever see's or thinks bitcoin is a scam.Even in this 21st century if the average adult in the society doesn't know about bitcoin's existence as a digital currency and equally thinks bitcoin is a scam, that person should indulge in a self improvement session;like sit down and have a serious conversation with yourself because its actually simple and easy to embrace the life changing opportunities like bitcoin that exists significantly.

Even scammers refer to bitcoin as a scam,if they don't agree with bitcoin system or they don't like bitcoin that's their headache. Why now recruiting a wide range of people within their reach to ascertain the same mentality they have against bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not for the weak and precarious individuals!!
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should be looking only at the brighter side on: March 24, 2024, 09:48:09 PM
Being a Bitcoin investor or a holder comes without it's own ups and downs that makes us want to sell off all of it without looking back, but know one thing,  their is actually a light, at the end of the tunnel, we should not be looking at the higher transaction fees, the network congestion, the complications and effort needed to hold perfectly without you selling due to financial pressure, the negativity and speculation around it by hater, the stress and measures put in place to secure it well from scammers,  but as a true Bitcoineers, we should only be look at the brighter and the bigger picture of how much you stand to gain, if you keeps on holding, look only at the brighter side of it, because that's what going to motivate you when you feel tired, cheer to all Bitcoineer🍷🥂🥂

Normally the red flags during investing should also be acknowledged.Factors that could hinder the investment process ranging from volatility, risks, market liquidity, budget, inflation rate and ecetera
These things can also be considered too in order to successfully achieve your financial aim.

However, making a good investment decision should also be considered as important to make the right choices today whenever you intend to invest because it can have a big impact in your financial situation. There are good things to achieve when you take and make the right investment choices.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is saving screenshots of useful information and BTC transactions? on: March 24, 2024, 05:14:23 PM
Well,as for me,so long as you've clearly understand and studied privacy consciousness, some ignorant attitudes to your personal data and information should be handled and preserved with appropriate caution and safety without been told by anyone.Someone who's been vast in knowledge about one's security and privacy shouldn't be caught screenshoting sensitive informations like his or her bitcoin transaction, bitcoin wallets, keys, holdings and all other bitcoin activities.

At least we should learn from the origin of bitcoin that is bitcoin promotes anonymity and every user of bitcoin should normalize the act of ensuring that his/her privacy and personal information is thoroughly intact and secured without any failures.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin could speak ... on: March 24, 2024, 04:53:03 PM
If Bitcoin could speak, what tales of adventure and intrigue from the digital realm would it share with us, revealing the hidden secrets of its journey through the vast expanse of the blockchain?

Hahaha, hello I'm Bitcoin the no one digital currency In the world  Smiley i think that's what it would say. But don't you think we already know that? Bitcoin is a decentralized system where everything, including the entire Blockchain, is transparent and open for anyone to see. There's nothing about Bitcoin that it would want to tell that isn't already known. If someone has spent some time studying Bitcoin, they'll know that its transparency and open-source nature mean that every transaction it's ever made is visible on the blockchain. This includes the very first block, Genesis block mined by Satoshi Nakamoto and all subsequent transactions, including the ones between Satoshi and Hal Finney. Anyone who can access the blockchain can check and follow Bitcoin's entire journey since it started.

Basically,I think if bitcoin wants to speak,or would want to speak, whatever it has to say has already been documented and recorded in the blockchain, study and follow bitcoin ways to hear it speak to you.

Majorly, bitcoin is initially speaking but not everyone could hear it.Bitcoin is speaking "I'm not a scam, bitcoin is saying save for what's around the corner, and invest for the future.Bitcoin's philosophy shouldn't be overemphasized or overcalculated.
It's actually simple to understand, bitcoin has a transparent nature, and that which is supposed to be spoken is already existing;follow instructions and guidelines and adhere to the numerous red flags e.t.c.It's that simple I guess..
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 21, 2024, 03:54:41 PM
I’m talking about the potential problem that you might encounter in the casino. Personally,  My worst nightmare that I don’t want to happened to me is when I hit huge jackpot while the casino investigate my account ask documents that will support my financial capability on gambling.

I’m only reading this issue on scam accusation but this is painful if happened to me like hitting max multiplier on slot games that result to 50K profit. Can’t imagine finally hitting my dream multiplier then casino seize my profit. This is just an abstract discussion so we are not really assuming that casino will do this especially the reputable casino.

This is quite unfortunate and frustrating seeing your winnings deduce all because of some Casinos self interest.i see this as a guide as this have not happened to me before but with this I'll eventually know what action to take when it sure happens and again I see this as a means whereby those casinos officials enrich themselves but nevertheless it shouldn't get to the point of seizing your profit.
Sometimes they might be doing so because the observed you just hit a big jackpots so that's the means they'll use to extort ur money from you rather than asking you to compensate them.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 21, 2024, 03:24:38 PM
Do you prefer games where you know right away whether you've won (or lost) casino style, or do you prefer other games like sports betting? Do you have any other favorite games?

For me, I don't think I'll say much on this but I'll rather say I Love all games but I prefer sports betting the most cause of the entertainment I get and relaxation I feel watching both teems play with zeal against each other,it gives me so much joy when watching it, normally we all know all of this are for fun and nothing more to it.
But aside this I love basketball.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 21, 2024, 03:10:23 PM
I would like to discuss this topic, the joy of victory. Much has been written about this, but nevertheless it will always be relevant. Many players naively believe that someone other than themselves should be happy about their winnings. I don't think so. Of course, those closest to you who directly or indirectly depend on your money will be happy about your winnings. But neighbors, friends, work colleagues, at best (at best!) will receive the news of your victories with indifference, and at worst, with envy. I know that many friends and acquaintances get depressed when they find out how much you have earned. For them, it will be an unnecessary reminder of their failure. Often friendships end after one person becomes very rich. People lose common topics for communication, common interests disappear. Of course, things are different in sports betting and trading than in business. Here success is less stable and a person can often fall back into poverty more quickly. But it’s still better to hide your victories from others. I've seen many clear examples.

This is life certainly, the percentage of people happy for your success and victory are just few up to like a 5% and the rest will be hiding an envy heart on a fake smiling face just to show they are happy as well  but they ain't happy.so like wise it's for you to know who you share your victory with,I had this experience of telling my friend's about my success but less did I know they are not happy for me but rather jealous and that thing I'm celebrating for won't even last.so I had to learn this from an elderly that one's successful life is guaranteed by the people is surrounded with and if they take it in a Good fate it sure will stay and vice versa.

So that what's how I had to change my own rules of disposing whatsoever or any good news with. My friends or colleagues so I know where the problem is coming from,so one-day I didn't do that I observe that 2 of them came to me and said don't you win again and all of those mockery talks but I smiled in me and that's how I came out of such.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 21, 2024, 02:55:01 PM
Especially on sports betting we see some racism happening and this happened in most of the league that are popular of which so many persons bet on. It bothers me to ask, that imagine you placed a bet and somehow you have 80% assurance that it would come out successful. And on the process of waiting for the game to end there was some racism manipulation in the game which made you lost the game. It could be football or other sports cause its mostly found in sports.

Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?
Thank you for bringing this up because it has become a thing of concern to me. I noticed that in some leagues, the home team will always win whereas it is not like that in other leagues. I have tried asking questions in the past and I was told that the officials do their best to favor the home sides in order to save their head. I don't know if this can be called racism though.

Even the bookies usually give smaller odds to the home side irrespective of the strength of the away team. So to avoid losses, I usually avoid leagues where I notice this to be a norm. I want to play matches that I know there is fairness in the officiating as that will make me relaxed that the match will follow prediction.

Yes this as been a food for thought when I realized that this is how most officials tend to behave supporting or manipulating the game in favour of their hommies and it's quite unfortunate for such to be happening whereas the game was supposed to be fair, and it won't be because of that I'll start avoiding such games.
No,my love for that sports will just keep growing cause I know that there's always a lucky day for everyone and that won't stop me also not to bet on that game if I want to,cause whether racist or not sports will still live on.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: March 21, 2024, 07:15:24 AM
Emotion:

The cause of the emotion in the gambling site because of the loss due to bad luck. The gambling loss mostly occurred due to the emotional inference to the game.If the gamblers loss the funds in the gambling site, they become emotionally weaker person. This cause for the random betting in the gambling site. The more you control your emotions will cause you to win more in the gambling site.

The gambling is the game with two possibilities, which is the winnings and losing. The winning happens if you use your strategies to make the money, the gamblers who failed to make use of the strategies are the loser at the end of the gambling. The winner of the gambling always make money from it,So he get positive emotions towards the game. The gamblers with more positive emotions are able to win more in the long run in the gambling site.

Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making,So it was essential for the gamblers to make use of their strategies to win money from the gambling site. How your emotions affects your games, let me know your past experience.

Exactly alot of gamblers are only on the side of making more money whereas the chances of understanding how to use strategies principles to achieve that is belittled but rather what the think is staking higher results to big wins.
But nevertheless the insurgency of emotions have made a lot of gamblers to be weaker vessels like you said and it has altered their winnings in general.

So definitely when a gambler knows how to control his emotions and channeit to the positive end he's sure of making a good win whenever he find himself to gamble.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling friendly countries on: March 21, 2024, 07:03:47 AM
We all know that gambling income is heavily taxed in most of the countries. This is because most of the countries have separate taxes for the gambling related income. I want to know which are the most gambling friendly countries which charge very less or nil income tax on gambling winnings ?
are you planning to migrate in that said country if there is one?  Grin Grin because you seem to be interested in knowing which is which .

according to this site back in 2019 https://www.taxback.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-gambling-tax-rates-around-the-world/

looks like Russia and Italy has Zero tax requirements .

But why will one want to leave his country to tax friendly country, this is really serious cause I think yes he want to relocate so he can facilitate a faster means of his gambling and  easy tax demands.

Don't you think this is a high rate of gambling addiction but I think most gambling countries just share almost same tax rate as pertaining Gambling,so it's best you remain at your domain country and gamble at a lower percentage an amount you can afford to lose and you would have it all good.
