261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: can eth reach over 700 on: April 16, 2018, 08:16:43 PM
It did already in the past. If i am not mistaken it reached $1000 even. But i think it is always like this, all other currencies go with the flows. Bitcoin is too low now and as we all see other currencies are also down. Who knows, but ethereum for sure is a strong currency and very dependable.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 08:07:26 PM
This is a cryptocurrency world and a business. Each time new altcoin is coming up there is always an expectation that that one will be better than those that are in existence already. People are looking for a better investment. Wherever the current is taking them to there they go. Whichever of all those altcoins is better there investors are investing.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BIDIUM: The Best Service Around - Join Whitelist Today on: April 16, 2018, 08:01:31 PM
Looks like there is a new awaiting project that will success anytime! From the platform, the team and advisors to the rate of ICO reviewers, I think that this project has the capability to go at the moon!
But I just noticed, how does this project generate revenue of there is no fee for transaction, hiring and bidding? I also like to stress the Bidium core, does this project has?

Going to the moon is not a n issue to take now, we should read their whitepaper and watch for the development of it.
Are they worth to invest in? or we should just hold to our coins?
Are they have the power and technology to compete with other exchanges?
The security that they will use may be enough to stay safe with our holdings?
I don't Hodl my coins on several exchanges as we all know that they have the best security provided. But along the way if you going to keep a big bulk of coins then i recommend cold wallets, as we can see big exchanges had a big trouble on compromising their data. I hope they have exchange wallet that every users has the right to save their coins with private keys and phrase password.

If they are an exchange they must have a wallet for exchangers to store their token to. I’ve read that they dont even charge the users and those who hold tkens in their Bidium wallets are going to have shares on Bidium profits. Because of their concept it attracted me to join also their campaign.

BIDIUM. Hmmmmn! Another ebay, Amazon on the rise? Of all those online marketplaces around the globe what makes Bidium unique and different from the rest to expect success? What makes you special to gain the trust of sellers and buyers?
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: February 27, 2018, 10:30:11 PM
I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun.
But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win?
Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?
No, not even once though, winning makes you feel proud about yourself or ability sometimes but every time i sit down to start the game i always feel nervous and tensed even if i am winning and all the more when i win once i am almost sure that the next round will be my badluck.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: February 27, 2018, 10:18:09 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
I didnt but i know someone who did and ended up more complicated. The money that he used and lost was not his own money. It happened that someones asked him a favor to give the money to another person but he came to gambling site with the money and played with it and lost everything.
267  Other / Meta / Re: Local Board (Filipino) on: February 27, 2018, 09:58:07 PM
Same. I created a new topic which I think is not a repeat because it's about a new issue on forum and I thought it would be good for us filipinos to engage on that topic and have a little brainstorming for us to be able to help each other. But the post got deleted and I'm puzzled why. I don't think they even read my post probably they just saw the topic and assume its the same as others. There was no topic like that because if there was I could have just replied to the thread and join in. I wish there's a child board where we can discuss those like I can freely discuss things here in the main thread. Seems our local thread are more strict than the main thread here.
You said it all dude. Can’t say more.
268  Other / Meta / Re: Local Board (Filipino) on: February 27, 2018, 09:54:15 PM
It could be the whole thread that is off topic that's why your post was also deleted. Sometimes newbies don't read the sticky threads where they could find the answer to their question instead they start threads asking questions that can be answered by everyone then others will reply with the same answer forcing mods to delete it immediately.

Maybe its time to have a meta child board on each local boards, why? Because it help us to discussed some bitcointalk related issues with our own language and from that we widely expressed our opinion in more comfortable way.

You don't need a dedicated child board to discuss forum-related issues in a local forum. You can simply make a thread in the main local boards, can't think why any local mods would prohibit that as long as the discussion is constructive.
I agree just make sure to lock the thread after the discussion is over.
Thanks for this dude. I think this is the reason why my post was deleted.
269  Other / Meta / Re: Local Board (Filipino) on: February 27, 2018, 09:44:00 PM
What's up with this whining? I assume OP is having a hard time completing his required post count for his signature campaign Roll Eyes

If the mods feel/deem your post as off topic then they will delete it regardless if you think/know it's not.

I don't know why you are making a big deal out of this. This thread is nonsense, IMHO.
I dont think replying to what you think a nonsense topic just for your signature to be seen is sensible too.. Stay away from a nonsense topic if you dont have any sensible reply to make or you will just be making your self wise in your own eyes.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 27, 2018, 09:17:07 PM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/
The government dupports banks and not cryptocurrency so as long as the government supports banks they will not be eleminated and besides there are other services banks do that bitcoin or exchanges will be able to fulfill so banks are not really and totally enemies of cryptocurrency.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people promote Bitcoin using Ponzi scheme techniques? on: February 27, 2018, 09:13:41 PM
Community is having issues with explaining why Bitcoin/blockchain is needed. I summarized some thoughts about what is wrong with the approach of promoting Bitcoin as an investment.

https://medium.com/@pavelkravchenko/bitcoin-showed-a-new-way-for-society-to-interact-but-something-went-wrong-3fdf5daa771d
Because this is the easiest way of convincing people to join. Promising them a huge profit out of a small investment they will make. They are enticing the innocent by offering lies and later on only them that will benefit. Because mostly are greedy and assholes just want to take advantage of people’s hard earned money.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 08:57:36 PM
I wasn't referring to you as a shitposter, HabBear.

The problem is that these idiots are noticing that a lot of merits are being handed out in meta, in topics about merit--so they think they're going to score here with their garbage posts.

They don't realize what the problem is, how bad their posts are, and that their chances of getting merit points are akin to winning the lottery whilst recuperating from a lightning strike.
The problem is fools think they are the only wise people in this world and everyone else is a fool. They are wise in their own eyes as they say they are and they have no problem in lifting up their own chairs. They think that this forum has been created for only wise people like them and everyone else who is not passing their own personal standards is branded as idiots.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 08:38:14 PM
merit system reduce or limit the amount of users on this forum who has no serious intention on bitcoin. It doesnt mean that the new comers doesnt have the right to enter but rather they are reviewed to rank. I find merit system a good innovation in this forum. The existing users forced to limit their low quality post or topic and focuses more on an interesting one to gain merits, but recently, it is abused. The new system (merits), takes over signature campaigns and the managers requires/ in favor of users with merits. Because of this, users will farm merits to their friends just to earn the bounties. With this, the true meaning of merit system is sad to say void.
I’m with you in this area. And since not all wants to give merit to posts i pity the new comers since the chances for them to be promoted to the next rank is very small. Yes good posts are being merited. By how many? How many merit do they get? 1,2? How many merit will a newbie need to get promoted?
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Where does bitcoin raise interest? on: February 27, 2018, 07:04:05 PM
I have been reading this "old" article from January from https://btcmanager.com/what-is-going-on-with-bitcoin-in-nigeria/ and it seems that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies tend to cause a deeper effect in two cases:
- Countries that see cryptos as a possibility to innovate and create a new economic sub-sector.
- Countries with governments that serious corruption problems.

Letonia would be on the first group, as it has been the first European Country to offer a European e-residency, Scandinavian countries as usual have a very open attitude and in front of them we see South Africa, Ganna and the most radical example, Nigeria.

Do you think cryptos will eventually have such a strong effects on the rest of the economies?
I think it depends on how they would embrace cryptocurrency. If they will be open enough for new innovative projects which connects to cryptocurrency maybe it will make a big breakthrough to their countries economically. If they will be closed minded then those who will have the chance and those who wont will lost the chance.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: February 27, 2018, 06:56:53 PM
Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks
No. As long as bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is a trend then you are not late. Nthing is late for those who would want to start. There is always a chance and besides no matter how much is the price when you bought it, the time will come when you will surely exceed this price. Every year the price grows so i dont think you are gonna lost.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: February 27, 2018, 06:46:33 PM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Based on your narration you say bitcoin is accepted in different institutions while gold is not simply because bitcon is a currency and gold is an asset. A store of value. No matter how mch bitcoin value would grow, there are still people who will invest and hold gold. Not to mention India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other countries that value gold as an asset and passing them from generation to generation to their heirs as heritage. Because gold has been proven strong And stable.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: February 26, 2018, 09:58:31 PM
Yes. I think it is important. What if you come to a gambling site and you are not familiar with the game so you will naturally lose because you dont know how to play yet. Some also already know the cycle of numbers in the cards and that is also because of experience.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: February 26, 2018, 09:56:02 PM
I always feel satisfied when winning in gambling, by having that feeling I feel a bit of pride from myself. A little sad but I think almost all gamblers have the same feelings like me, then how about you? Do you want to share your story for us discussing in here.
I dont have experience in real gambling but i do play cards with friends and old people who bet with cents. When i win the game i feel happy but because it was only cents so twas no big deal if i lose. But most of the people i talked to When it comes to gambling they say they are tensed whenever they play and when they win they start to gain confidence.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: February 26, 2018, 09:52:34 PM
Yes they could do that to you. I dont go to casinos and i dont gamble too but i happen to enter a casino once when i was asked to take the person from the hotel and that hotel has casino below. I saw the casino and i noticed that people playing and watching there were all dressed well and looked so repectable. I can see that people really have money based on their attire. Most of them are from well known families.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: February 26, 2018, 09:44:24 PM
As you know that you need to stop and leave the game? How can you feel this moment. I almost always lose their money because they can't learn when to leave the game. I'm not sorry to lose. I have a lot of money not to lose, but I can't keep the winnings if I'm lucky.
The right time to leave is the moment you land the site. There is no guarantee you are going to win. If you are ready to lose and you dont care of losing they you dont even have to think of leaving. You can fight till your last breath and last penny left in your wallet.
