261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin will go to zero as it will struggle to remain the dominant crypto" on: November 18, 2017, 07:36:47 PM
If it goes to zero, I'd like to purchase 21 million, please.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Won BTC Cash battle? on: November 17, 2017, 01:10:08 PM
I've been holding both ... my original BTC, and the equal BCH I got in august.

BTC is near records highs, and BCH is double what it was a week or so ago ...

Kinda feels like the HODLers are the winners.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EBYTE] Etherball - Totally free distribution on: November 17, 2017, 02:53:44 AM
I'm not that familiar with EtherDelta, but am I seeing that right?  The Buy/Sell spread is 110/0.05?   Shocked
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EBYTE] Etherball - Totally free distribution on: November 16, 2017, 12:22:36 AM
Thanks Dev.  I got mine today.  Looking forward to the next full moon.  I wouldn't worry about the low distribution on the first round, people will catch on, especially if it gets ranked on coinmarketcap or priced well on etherdelta.  I bet the first round of byteball was relatively weak, too.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan.io Down? on: November 16, 2017, 12:15:48 AM
It looks like it the tokens reporting tab that is down for some reason ... if you are direct linking to your token page, try deleting the #tokentxns from the end of the URL and you should be able to see your ether transactions.  Hopefully they get the tokens tab working again soon.
266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STOLEN BITCOINS / HACKED ACCOUNTS on: November 15, 2017, 03:26:08 AM
First, there is probably nothing that can be done to get your coins back.

But, can you tell us more about the service you used to buy your coins and where you were storing them?

Something doesn't sound right.  You said it took a week to get the coins deposited in your wallet?  And your wallet has a "customer care specialist"?

Bitcoin deposits can be slow, but not a week.  And most people store their coins in a desktop wallet or hardware waller, which would not have a customer care specialist.  Something sounds scammy about the people you were dealing with.  No one should have access to you wallet except you.  If you were storing them at an online service, there is a chance it was the online service that stole them.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit adding Segwit2X futures (1:1 btc ratio) on: November 15, 2017, 03:10:33 AM
I thought Segwit2X was canceled.  Is Setwit2X still going to happen?  I see the futures still being priced at coinmarketcap.com, though.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC is moving, what's the reason? on: November 14, 2017, 02:59:35 AM
Is there anything happening with ETC?  It seems like all the advancements are happening on ETH, and the all the new coins (for better or for worse) are being launched as Etherium Tokens ... I know the reasons behind ETC being forked, but it doesn't seem to have a purpose on than being a reminder of a major DAO failure.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold online wallet: mybtgwallet on: November 12, 2017, 06:49:10 PM
At this point, I would not trust anything that wasn't open source, and vetted by the community.  Remember people, trying to claim Bitcoin Gold by private keys can put both your BTC and BTG at risk.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold - Top 5 On Coin Market Cap? on: November 11, 2017, 10:55:32 PM
Isn't Bitcoin Gold already out? Why do you refer to it as making a debut?

It's in "test net" right now, and as far I know, only futures are trading.  It's official launch of "main net" is tomorrow 19:00 UTC, and I'd assume that at that point it will get a full listing on coinmarketcap, and it's circulating supply will be updated so that it can be properly ranked.

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I still claim Bitcoin Cash? on: November 11, 2017, 10:48:27 PM
Yeah ... as long as you had BTC on Sept. 1 and have access to the private keys where it was stored, you can claim it at any point in the future.  It doesn't expire.  It just sits on the block chain waiting for someone to claim it.
But didnt the fork happened on 1th of august?

Yeah ... my bad.  Will change to Aug. 1st.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Gold - Top 5 On Coin Market Cap? on: November 11, 2017, 09:21:28 PM
If my math is right, Bitcoin Gold should debut tomorrow with a market cap of over $6 Billion, making it the #5 currency on Coinmarketcap, knocking Litecoin out of the top 5.  From there, who knows.  I could see it initially dumping pretty hard as it goes live.

274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of CPU Friendly AltCoins on: November 09, 2017, 09:51:32 PM
I saw a new one yesterday.  ROI Coin.  Looks very similar to HODLCOIN, which I mined for a while, but it's dying.  Even uses the same hodlminer.  A few complaints about it being buggy, though.

275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2X has been cancelled or is this just speculation? on: November 09, 2017, 03:24:31 AM
I can't understand why B2X futures are starting to trend up again ... Obviously they crashed hard after the news broke, but I expected it go to zero ... it bottomed around $150 hours ago and now is trending back up to $330.  I guess someone believes it is still happening?
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SegWit2x Fork [B2X] Got Cancelled on: November 08, 2017, 06:08:57 PM
Almost everything is GREEN on coinmarketcap!  People saying dump alts, but BTC, were wrong.  What a nice day.   Grin
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 🔴 Gladius Network 🔴 BTC and GLA Bounty Campaign - Token Sale 1st Nov on: November 08, 2017, 12:29:56 PM
Can you explain #3 better?

3. from this week only (sixth week) we are no longer be doing weekly stake updates. stakes are going to be updated and added to spradsheet when ico is over. for the signature campaign you have to send 50 messages, at least, until ico is over. in addition to the stakes you have earned till now, youre going to be receive stakes in proportion to the timewhile you remain in the campaign. new participants are going to earn stakes according to these regulations.

If we send 50 posts over the next 10 weeks, and leave the sig on until Jan 14th, how are the stakes counted?  For a member (which is currently 1 stake per week) would that be an additional 10 stakes?
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Airdrop] Subeum on: November 07, 2017, 09:21:07 PM
Looks like an interesting idea.  Good luck to Dev.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: November 07, 2017, 12:16:52 AM
I would look at Exodus/Eden for desktop and Jaxx for Mobile.  I've used both and they both pretty good, and keep adding popular coins pretty quickly.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017 on: November 06, 2017, 09:09:19 PM
It seems almost impossible to prove ... or too easy to prove.... depending on how the law is written.

Even if you have a Trezor on you, can the government force you to unlock it?

On the other hand, if you have your phone on you, and a large crypto holding in an online wallet, they could argue you crossed the board with access to the Crypto...

It's probably going to be one of the laws that gets unevenly enforced depending on your religion and skin color.
