261  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] >>AsicMiner USB, Casascius Coins!<< Pay with SEPA/BTC! on: September 03, 2013, 10:29:18 AM
USB miners updated to 0.249btc/unit and 34,99€/unit in ebay. Links in OP.

Cheers!
Already bought 9 @ Bitmit site. I only hope to get some USB Gizmos with the new colors, like Blue, strange Red, Gold and Silver, also the ones with the effects in the heatsink...

Thanks for the price drop, BitAddict.

I only have blue (the normal one) and black.
Blue please... I'm full of Gizmos in black (and old red) color.

264  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB - Overclocking/ hacking ? on: September 01, 2013, 07:21:39 PM
As I could read through the thread, if I just replace the 12 MHz crystal and no other component, I am limited to 13 MHz am I wrong?

Does anyone have a photo of a USB Block Erupter without the 12 MHz crystal soldered on it to see if I can do the work with only a soldering iron and a desoldering pump?

here in my tread you can see (bad) photos of my complete desoldered usb erupters.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270367.0

btw. fuses are set... i cant read firmware dump from attiny. (but maybe there are some sticks with open fuses?)

Thanks for the link, ooxtcoo.

I must insist with the send e-mail alerts option. I (and all Gmail users) need SMTP authentication to use MinePeon to send mails via gmail.

Quote
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires TLS
smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465 or 587
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires authentication: Yes
Use same settings as incoming mail server
Full Name or Display Name: [your name]
Account Name or User Name: your full Gmail address (username@gmail.com). Google Apps users, please enter username@your_domain.com
Email address: your full Gmail address (username@gmail.com) Google Apps users, please enter username@your_domain.com
Password: your Gmail password
If your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address.

Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.

Hi nekonos.

I sent you a PM Today at 09:28:57.

Best regards.

One more interesting thing... I'm using my TZ: Europe/Lisbon [WEST +01:00]. The time displayed by cgminer and all devices @ main page is correct, but the time that the live graphics displays is shifted by -1 hour.

Also, when I try static charts and then I select 'update', I always get same error:

Great! But let's put one more line in the page...

Oh... it's me! in 10th position.
274  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed] AVALON CHIPs @0.082BTC + K16 Miner Assembly 60EUR on: August 29, 2013, 11:13:22 AM
1. B ... full refund
2. C ... upgrade to next gen
3. D ... legal actions!

I think this is the way to go ... at least for me ...
In respect for nekonos and bizwoo, I will keep my 2 orders and I will order/pay nekonos for 2 Klondike16 (1 from each GB) upon reception of the 32 chips by bizwoo.

Code:
Aug 27 15:45:55 minepeon systemd[1]: PID file /run/httpd/httpd.pid not readable (...t.

Thanks for your kind help and support, yxzq.
You're welcome :-)

I encountered a similar error and just confirmed that this adjustment is missing in v0.2.3
This is the solution:
https://gist.github.com/thgh/6330000#start-apache-on-boot

You might have to disable/stop httpd.service first.
I disabled and stopped httpd service, did the edit of the file, replaced root by http, confirmed that I did save the file opening it again, then i enabled and started the service. I had the same lack of data in the live graphics. Then I did a reboot of the RPI. After entering again @ the Main status page, I get same problem as seen in the print-screen I included this morning.
278  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 28, 2013, 01:22:37 PM
First of all: for those who use early builds, read this:
https://gist.github.com/thgh/6364973

But... to edit any pool, I have to delete it and make new pool entry...  Sad
Is it because de Save pools button disappears?
Are there any fields marked red?
Sorry, I was distracted. Of course it works. As i change anything, appears a green 'Save' button and it saves the new values.

Question: What is 'Enable Remote control' option for?
A new feature that we would like to build. It will upload the stats to a remote server, so you can check up on minepeon at anywhere anytime.
If that works out, the settings and restart stuff might also come available.
WOW! Great! Thanks.

Also, on the RPI with newer Arch Linux and from time to time, the live graphics go down and stay @ 0 Hash/s for some time. Reloading doesn't fix it. The other RPI always show live graphics.
Looking at the screenshot, it seems like apache/httpd is down. When an error occurs while trying to refresh the status, the status is not updated but the title should become [OFF]. I should make this more clear in the interface. Because now it looks like everything is normal.
How long does this command take and what's the output?
Code:
sudo systemctl status httpd.service
I could not replicate the error I was getting this morning. The command gives me:

Code:
minepeon@minepeon ~ :( $ sudo systemctl status httpd.service
[sudo] password for minepeon:
httpd.service - Apache Web Server

UPDATE: I could replicate the 'problem' with a refresh of main 'status' page. But trying the same command again, it gave me the same output as the one avove, with the addiction of the following line at the end of the GGroup list:

Code:
           ââ20400 /usr/bin/httpd -k start

Thanks for your kind help and support, yxzq.

Any chance there will be coming an new version of Minepeon this upcoming week?
Probably not.

280  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 28, 2013, 03:20:04 AM
I still can see my Pools @ main page, but @ Miner page, the Pool only has empty. I still can't modify my pools.
Thanks for bug testing :-)

I am now making a button that fixes the problem. Should be working by tonight.
With last git pull, I get now miner and RPI uptime:

  • Miner 13h 31m 38s   -   Pi 13h 31m 17s   -   Temp 36.856 °C
  • Miner 8h 40m 16s     -   Pi 32h 51m 31s   -   Temp 36.856 °C

The Compatibility Reload button worked ok and I now can see my pools @ Miner screen. And no more warning messages when going to Main page. Many thanks, yxqz. But... to edit any pool, I have to delete it and make new pool entry...  Sad

Temp of both RPI are exactly the same? Odd...

Question: What is 'Enable Remote control' option for?
