261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: April 20, 2019, 01:36:42 PM
40%-200% raise in value overnight is really good. With that, I don't think I'll hold anymore and just take the money instead. And I'll probably leave the coins that are not yet profitable and invest with the money from that 200% raise. I think it would be too greedy if you're going to hold with that kind of fluctuation. Dreaming of cars is fine, but sometimes you have to take it because you dont know when is the next bull run.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC requirements on BitcoinTalk Bounty Campaigns Become Worst! on: April 20, 2019, 12:40:57 AM
The KYC process is bad when you have to send your ID and other documents for just $XXUSD, there is no sense of that when you're not investing money into the project.

Doesn't really mean it's bad. And there are actually bounties that require KYC before distribution so I don't get your point on the "no sense" thing. And not all. Bounties that require KYC are bad projects. INS required KYC before and it actually became profitable.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 20, 2019, 12:36:20 AM
It is probably because centralized exchanges offer better services than the decentralized exchanges. And most of the projects wants their coin to be listed on them because of this. Decentralized exchanges are slower when it comes to processing trades. Centralized exchanges also knows how to attract more customers
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 19, 2019, 07:02:48 AM
The only things that I do with bitcoin are doing bounties and airdrops. I don't have the equipment to mine bitcoin and my brother did his faucet things before but he forgot the information about his faucet. But I'd rather earn extra money as a student than do nothing about crpytocurrency. Sure, earning money in bounties do take a lot of time. But as long as you pursue in doing it, you will keep earning as well. This is the most fun thing that I am doing right now.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On-chain Security. Thoughts? on: April 18, 2019, 11:24:35 PM
The recent CipherTrace and Binance partnership has me questioning a lot about compliance and security. I like the idea of having moderators helping analyze anything out of ordinary on-chain such as mass amounts of money moving around wallets. I also think it can help protect blockchain from anything threats from governments or terrorists.

would love to know your thoughts. I know we are in the heat of privacy coins and platforms  at the moment so i'm interested to see how that will play out both with exchanges and compliance.

I think when it comes to KYC, some of us can trust Binance. As long as our security is not at risk, and our platform is not used in any types of illegal activies like money laundering. This is a decentralized platform and makes us vulnerable to any threats. I hope this partnership removes or lessens these threats.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is improving and green. on: April 18, 2019, 11:12:53 PM
I think we might see it improving and green right now, but I think we still need a longer period of time to conclude. Because in the end, we need to see the larger scale as time goes by. But I hope this is a sign of another process of going to the moon.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 18, 2019, 11:01:27 PM
Well, bounties usuall go for 3-4 months and does not give the bounties right away. So if you don't have a job. How do you expect bounties to serve you well. And also, it depends on your luck because there are ICOs that looks interesting but does not perform well as expected.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Popularity Soars in Argentina Due to Mass Inflation on: April 18, 2019, 10:47:15 PM
Adopting bitcoin is surely a good move. It will help alot of people to sustain their needs. However, it will not reduced their rate of inflation. They can solve it by adding the salary of the people and that is the normal thing to do. But they can't just live their currency since it is an economics crisis.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Governments Ever Accept Blockchain-Based Cryptocurrencies? on: April 17, 2019, 01:11:00 PM
I think they will accept it but it's going to be a long process since it is decentralized and they can't just tax it. Blockchain is a top technology right now. And there is no problems when it comes to applying it. But when cryptoccurency is in the equation, I think the government will have a doubt on it. And also, even the regulation can hurt us especially when we don't like their conditions.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin SV going to crash? on: April 17, 2019, 01:04:47 PM
Because of the issues that are going around twitter and other crypto news sites, I think it will continue to crash especially because of the delisting of Bitcoin SV in different exchange sites. They got burned in their own fuel. It's like just because of their attitude they got delisted on the biggest exchange sites.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new look to KYC, from a customer's perspective. on: April 17, 2019, 12:57:50 PM
May I raise a question? What if this Know Your CEO becomes a real thing, do you think it is going to be okay for the people to still pass their KYC? But anyway, I never thought of this move before. Since I believe that the legitimacy of the projects is also crucial like the information that we are giving to these people.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: April 17, 2019, 12:41:05 PM
My bankers told me, I need to help them to create an bitcoin wallet and hand it to them, and they’re too busy to learn it and it’s very difficult to use, they don’t believe cash would die, they deal with thousands of clients everyday who need bankers to create banking account for them, and they know a lot of people, despite having a smart phone, are not good enough to use the phone for simple online banking, they are only good enough to make phone calls with a smart phone, they don’t even know how to send texts to friends, they don’t believe their clients are capable to create their own bitcoin wallet and use it as cash, their clients would always come to them for help with their banking problem, and bitcoin didn’t provide any help as friendly as banker, it’s why it would fail to gain their attention. And more shockingly, they’re talking about their clients as young as 20-30s, they’re not gonna learn to use bitcoin, only a handful of very young people are tech savvy enough to use smartphone to their fullest, the rest of them are just like our grandma dealing with smartphone.

Your bankers have a great point when you told them about it. We must accept that we can't live without the fiat money and we can live without cryptocurrency. Your bankers are also probably old and does not have enough knowledge about crpyto. But anyway, I'm not saying that we must removed the other one or vice versa. Both could co-exist to help the people.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinSV will be delisting from binance on: April 16, 2019, 12:54:56 PM
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao Considers Delisting BSV Because of Founder’s Behavior
Founder and CEO of major cryptocurrency exchange Binace Changpeng Zhao warned that he will delist Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) if the creator of the altcoin Craig Wright does not change his behavior in a tweet published on April 11.
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1116563034476957699

a big dump will coming to bitcoinSV if binance delisting this coin ?
what do you think guys ?

I also think that if binance is going to set a schedule for delisting bitcoinSV then there will be a huge dump before the days of delisting. And I don't think if that is going to be good for the traders. Unless, bitcoinSV is available in other cryptocurrency exchanges that are good as well.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 16, 2019, 12:50:57 PM
Hey guys. As the title suggests, i've a question to the presale Investors.

Do you invest in Presales?

What do you research first in order to invest?

What makes the project interesting and worth investing?

I ask all the investors, what makes a coin Perfect!?!

A working platform?

Active devs?

or do you guys see something else too?

Please let me know, i'm really keen to know such stuff before becoming an investor myself. Thanks. Smiley

A working platform, active devs are important in making a cryptocurrency good. I don't think good investors have differences when it comes to choosing the right coin. If there's any difference, I don't think that it is really significant. There are a lot of threads in here that could help you on what coins you should consider buying. Things like budget should be considered as well.
275  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 16, 2019, 12:42:18 PM
Do you think that bitcoin debit card link to our bitcoin online wallet will be implemented or is it possible to happen in the future? After all, we still want some improvement and some option for us to pay in some grocery stores or department stores that accepting cards right? And do you think this is helpful?

I think it could be possible since it received a lot of support from different countries and there are also companies who accepts it. It is not really far from being impossible and it is close to being possible anytime soon. But of course it would be hard for countries like China.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DUMP after PUMP! on: April 15, 2019, 02:55:43 PM
The dump after pump move is pretty reasonable for me. And I've been doing it for a while now. Whenever the bounty distribution started and I already received my coins, I dump it right away because it will become unprofitable as time goes by. And it also applies for most of the coins even the good altcoins base on my observation.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Phishing myetherwallet site on: April 15, 2019, 02:52:28 PM
There are warning posted in the real site. Like what should the address look like and the appearance of the original hasn't changed since I started joining there. P.S I don't know if the site developed or changed. Those phishing sites are not new. There are a lot of them where if you put your wallet information in order to log in to your account, it's already over.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: April 15, 2019, 02:46:38 PM
I don't think we should impose our beliefs on other people about doing risks in cryptocurrency. Because in the end there is no such thing as right or wrong here. Most of the time, it is just base on luck. A coin that has reviewed to have a good future can become a useless coin in the future as well. I think when it comes to taking risks, it is important to have good knowledge of the background of the coin or anything that is related to earning real money.

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: February 28, 2019, 10:21:01 AM
I think KYCs are different. Some of them require information that shouldn't be shared and some of them just wants the information in your I.D. It will just depend on you whether you want to pass those or not. I think faking the information the you want to give is a good idea for me. I think this is a revolution on KYC itself. And if you are against it, we guys should show it to them that we dislike the idea of having KYC in bounties. But one of the bounties that I joined that had KYC ended up as a good one. After that, I never joined a bounty that has a KYC.
