261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is another type of fiat money according to the New York Fed on: June 22, 2020, 10:24:07 AM
They are clearly wrong, how come it became fiat. For me, fiat is centralized controlled by the government and they keep printing when they want to. Bitcoin is decentralized, with no base or main server or anything, it is everywhere and most importantly it has a limited supply and it is not increasing, unlike fiat. But if they consider bitcoin as a new and better version of fiat that is a different story.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is More Popular Than Traditional Banks on: June 21, 2020, 07:35:59 PM
Of course it is, because if you think carefully there are banks that are just exclusive one country because of that some traditional banks does not get news out of the country frequently while we are getting bitcoin news across different countries because bitcoin has no based, it has no central office, server or something, it is everywhere. Bitcoin has a lot of advantages over banks.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bitcoin scams hit Canada on: June 21, 2020, 05:22:01 PM
I hate when they call it "bitcoin scam" it should be "fake Bitcoin investments".
A fake Bitcoin investments = scam. News outlets need to save space in the headlines, and "Bitcoin scams" has fewer characters, so...
I know that, but not all people understand what is bitcoin, what is cryptocurrency, etc. so it is better to be more precise on headline. I am referring to those individuals that has a little knowledge about it. It could be misinterpret or mislead them to think that bitcoin is scam for real. I know ignorance of something is their fault for not being too curious or educate themselves about it, but we need those newbies to spread adoption, that is why adoption is very slow because most of the people are thinking it the wrong way in what they heard from news and they don't bother to read the whole article just headlines.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another cute avatar dApp aside from Cryptokitties on: June 21, 2020, 04:59:21 PM
Nice graphics and it is better than cryptokitties in terms of graphics. Personally I am not a fan of this dapps also those NFT's. Cryptokitties are making a buzz in previous years in fact, they clogged the ethereum network that time and causing a very high ethereum fees, It is just disappointing that 1 platform can clogged the ethereum network. I don't think this rabbids will make some buzz just like what Cryptokitties did back then I can't see any useful purpose of it.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures trading on: June 21, 2020, 03:35:08 PM
I know you want risk, but better practice first and familiarize how this futures works, I have only tried binance future on your list but I have tried on other platform too, binance is more complex but if you are getting used to it, you are fine. Binance has demo account you can practice there, compared to spot you can lose or profit faster. Here is the demo website of binance https://testnet.binancefuture.com/en/futuresng/BTC_USDT
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 21, 2020, 02:50:33 PM
They truly deserve it, people can tell which platform is good base on their experiences, and now they have added the Web Traffic Factor and Average Liquidity which is more realistic, those fake volumes exchanges generated by bots are slowly gone. Good thing they remove sh*t exchanges slowly also delisted sh*tcoins. Binance is not just an exchange now it is truly an amazing platform and CMC is not biased with it even they acquire the company.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bitcoin scams hit Canada on: June 21, 2020, 01:15:39 PM
I hate when they call it "bitcoin scam" it should be "fake Bitcoin investments". Well, this is not new, fake investments are always there trying to fool some people, especially to those who are a newbie in cryptocurrency. In my country they exist they have different styles. Some do it through fake websites, in social media (they will keep approaching you using different accounts offering some scam), Also, some have the guts to do some fake trading training and they will encourage everyone to invest with them I hope they will get punished.

TBH, the title of the thread was really catchy that's why I opened this thread, but misleading as I said.
Yeah, it is pretty misleading. If they used the dollar to scam people, so its a "dollar scam?"  I am pretty sure some of it is just spreading this news to FUD.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 04:26:35 PM
In my country, I don't see any grocery store, etc. personally but I heard in the capital city there are one or two mini-stores that accepts bitcoin. Since 2017 I don't see any improvement in that I only see bitcoin ATM was added by one bank. Back to the topic, I have seen some videos before by some vloggers paying with bitcoin on japan on several stores which are really amazing. I don't know what system those stores are using on phone but it confirms very fast but not as fast like credit cards or bank's digital wallets which is pretty instant. I hope those stores are not using large fees to make it faster  Cheesy

269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: June 20, 2020, 05:46:47 AM
I guess there is no trick in esports betting, you just need to be updated and knowledgeable on Esport you are about to bet. Like for an instance on Dota2. If you are watching some online tournaments it is an advantage because you are already familiar with each team gameplay and performance but Dota2 is a competitive game its patch is updated regularly, so the team will figure out which heroes are good on that particular patch. In short, if you are knowledgeable on a certain Esport you have a good chance to select which teams will win.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 18, 2020, 05:25:51 PM
Actually, most of the Altcoins have the same features the only difference was their total supply and I guess there is no point in having new altcoins we have enough but it can be a utility token of decent projects. I am seeing new and existing projects will adopt blockchain technology in the future and the use of most altcoins is just the utility token of those great companies and projects. Of course, each project will compete to each other adding more features to their altcoins.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: June 16, 2020, 11:39:56 PM
Crowds or audiences really make a difference sometimes, without it, you can't feel the excitement and pressure. But still, I guess there is a little advantage if you are being used to the court where you practice. This audience screams, cheers, or what, it won't work in some teams or players, they are trained physically and emotionally.
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better trade BTC or BNB? On BINANCE on: June 16, 2020, 11:18:27 PM
Binance is really broad, they have spot trading, Binance future, Option, Fiat. etc. A lot of choices so which one are you referring to? Each of those has a different feature and different to interact with it. For the safer, better stick on Spot trading right now. Both actually are good to trade with binance you can pair it with stablecoins or just pair it to each other. BTC/BNB, and don't forget to set some stop loss. Also, binance has a feature to save 25% discount if you use bnb to pay for fees.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: June 16, 2020, 11:03:49 PM
We all have pretty similar regret, I entered crypto on the year 2017 and accumulated a bunch of cryptocurrency from airdrop, bounty and some Bitcoins. I guess the sum of my portfolio went up to $20, 000. But I didn't cash it out or convert to a stablecoin, I pretty lose more than half of it. At that time I really don't have the knowledge on how to manage my cryptocurrency, I am struggling to determine which one is good to hold and not. But overall It is just free money I still earn a decent amount.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seems like bitcoin is too slow to progress on: June 16, 2020, 10:49:48 PM
Bitcoin is more or less 11 years now, from the start until now it has some huge progress, maybe slow but huge. What do you think if bitcoin does not exist? Will Ethereum exist now? Of course, altcoins have more features than bitcoin, honestly better than bitcoin technically, it is faster, with smart contract features and other stuff. It is designed to be better than bitcoin and with specific use cases but bitcoin is the king.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: June 16, 2020, 10:24:00 PM
~
I have a small asset too, I prefer investing than trading. On trading, if you have small capital your gains are small too. Unless you hit a jackpot with x100 leverage. Worst scenario you have trading losses and your small capital is getting lower and some are just being played by whales. I guess you are doing the right thing.

BTW, I have never seen a legit investment platform for cryptos. are you HODLING or investing your cryptos to a certain platform to get interest return? Can you name a few?
There is some gambling site that accepts investment and they give some returns, you can find that on gambling discussion posted by Yatsan. Also, Staking is a good option too, you are just leaving your crypto on a certain wallet and it grows but the profit is not that high. Some give only 10% APR.

276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: June 16, 2020, 09:48:08 PM
I don't gamble on physical casinos, but I will answer it anyway based on my point of view. For me, to be safe even if the government announces that covid virus is gone and neutralized. It is still not guaranteed that it is 100% percent neutralized. Some of my neighbors said even if the class of their children resumes this year they will not allow their children to go to school for safety, the school can wait for another year. I guess it is the same with gambling if the gamblers really think of their health and their families. But I guess there are some people that already gamble physically even if we have the virus circulating, there are so addict given the risk of being infected.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2020, 09:24:55 PM
I guess this bill will not be approved anyway. They just recently unban crypto and then proposed a new bill. What are they trying to achieve anyway, In fact, crypto helps most of their citizens. Worst scenario if that bill is implemented it is very unfortunate for their citizen. I have seen several Indian projects most of them are listed on top exchanges if that bill is implemented what will happen to those projects, for sure some of their offices are located in India.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any blockchains with these features? on: June 16, 2020, 08:56:37 PM
You can't find all of that in one blockchain project, i don't know any blockchain that has no tx fee.
There is, try to search about Nano, It is fast when you send a transaction you will receive it instantly and most importantly it is feeless, there are no transaction fees. Its price is sitting at $1 now I guess the future of this coin is far greater. Yeah, some blockchain does not have all those features but some have the most of it. They have their own specialty like Monero being an untraceable privacy coin.
279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help in offering computer help services on: June 16, 2020, 08:21:05 PM
If you are worried to be called scammer or what, why not just call them or chat and guide them on what solution that's needs to be performed. In my part, I am not really comfortable sharing control with my PC, what if some people downloaded a file and then it gets most important data of your system in just 1 click right? So I cannot blame some people being careful. It is really hard to get some clients online some people prefer to fix their gadgets and computer personally, If you really want to start a career with it why not build a shop and accept bitcoin payment.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: June 16, 2020, 07:49:23 PM
I am positive, so yes cryptocurrency is the future, or should I say it will surely in exist the future. In fact, some countries like China are already developing their own digital currency to be precise they are tokenizing their national currency. But due to COVID crisis there are some delays in that development but I guess it will be coming soon. I know it has centralized nature because it controlled by the government but still it is a cryptocurrency it gives positive views on people.
