261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you be worried? on: February 02, 2018, 05:56:55 AM
I'm one of those who worries because I'm in a situation that the money  I put in in Bitcoin is not something that I can afford to loose and I'm scared, frankly.  Great for those who's mindset is really firm and knows that things will be alright.

263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did I diversify too much? on: January 31, 2018, 03:43:31 PM
I'm not that yet good on investment and portfolio but I know diversification is something a rule of thumb with regards to investing specially for the high risk investment. I think you did a very good job on that part. Good luck mate.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the new merit system? on: January 30, 2018, 03:21:55 PM
I was surprise when I saw this. I was like, this thing in not there before, I remember it was only two, the number of post and the activity Smiley. Then come this merit system. I'm sure it will be helpful in order for people to be constructive in their post and not just putting anything under the son. Smiley Let see, for sure this will be part of the qualification in the future.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitconnect is Dead.... :( on: January 28, 2018, 03:16:23 PM
It was sadden that bitconnect shutsdown most of their features, there value really goes down a lot. I feel sad because I have family members who invested in bitconnect and I hope they will release their capital investment.
266  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: January 28, 2018, 03:12:28 PM
ICO are great investment as long you study the background of the company, the people behind it and the value of the project. Then if everything is acceptable to you then go ahead. ICO is one of the best option.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When can I expect my coins to recover? Feeling very depressed... on: January 26, 2018, 02:34:06 PM
I'm with you  bud, also in the same situation. We have invested in BTC last december and it was high during that period and suddenly this time it turn really low. I also don't know when it will recover. But still hoping for the best.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: January 26, 2018, 02:29:56 PM
I don't think this will be viable option in mining. I'm sure my phone will explode later on when I use it in doing mining. The computer specs requirement for mining is high and imagine using your mobile for in replacement of that. Nana, I dont think it is possible.

270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many altcoins do you hold? on: January 24, 2018, 02:05:59 AM
I'm just holding three altcoins currently, CHSB and STK. Both are very good projects and just finished their ICO (hardcap  reach). Soon they will be one of the most valued altcoin.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: January 24, 2018, 01:08:46 AM
I'm also using myetherwallet. Very convenient and it seems safe. I don't have any bad experience with it up until now and hopefully in the future.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to 100% invest into 1 alt coin, which would it be? on: January 23, 2018, 04:30:11 AM
Well, since your question is to choose to one altcoin, I would choose Stack (STK), This is something that will really help us with regards to purchases using our own crypto currencies and it will not limit us because this is patnered with mastercard.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-SALE] NTOK | PEER TO PEER ONLINE EDUCATION PLATFORM on: January 23, 2018, 03:18:17 AM
This seems a very good project. Imagine removing the middle in the process of education, its just the teacher and the student. I am currently homeschooling my kids and I'm the one responsible with their learning.  Having a platform that will have a good communication between the teacher and the student will greatly impact education. The only thing in question here is the certification which usually the government or the school is in place. But I really like this project.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: January 21, 2018, 02:25:42 PM
Wow, its great to find this thread. It's like a one stop shop for a free money. Airdrop is not that big that if you have a lot and with a good projects then it will really help.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 21, 2018, 02:12:37 PM
As for me, Yes it is a very good investment as long you are in a right ICO and not a scam. If the project of that company is really good and that will hit the market demand, then it will be a very good investment.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite Token? and why? on: January 20, 2018, 02:34:08 PM
Currently my favorite token is STK, its a point of sale system that will allow crypto holder to purchase anything using their STK system on any store wherein mastercard is being accepted.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UPCOMING ICO in 2018? on: January 20, 2018, 02:31:27 PM
I have read many ICO, check the following ICo. Bulaga Pay of course, Gilgamesh, Swissborg, Arcblock and AR token. Those ICO has great potential to really make it big because of there projects.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is an ICO? on: January 11, 2018, 01:35:25 PM
ICO stands for initial coin offering

It is a method used to crowdfund projects usually. With every project using their own coin/token so that they offer investors a chance if their project gets addopted and used price will raise. Therefore many people see this as a good investment opportunity because you could look at good returns, but price can fall as well and be worthless at end. Before chosing ICO to invest in you should do good reaserch about that matter. It is known that there are a lot of scams related to it, but as well as some great projects. Coin can even represent a stock or anything else company wants.

Even ethereum started of as an ICO, because ethereum was premined by devs and they offered coins in exchnage for mooney to raise funds and develop ethereum that we see now. However with ethereum and some other platforms enable people to create tokens easily and because of people slowl taking notice in the crypto world there were many projects that lunched last year via ICO. This should even raise more today as it can be easy funding from all over the world.

Great explanation of ICO. Thank you for providing what ICO means.   I always join bounty program and its really wonderful to be part of a project which is is really meaningful. Love ICO. Smiley
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SwissBorg | The Blockchain Era of Swiss Wealth Management on: January 10, 2018, 03:15:30 PM
This is seems a very promising project. It's a crypto management system to avoid money laundering.  I learned that they already reached their hard cap of 50M. That is one project that going to have a bright future.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are the furture on: January 10, 2018, 03:11:54 PM
Yes, cryptocurrency has a very good future and it will be the future of merchants. Before its barter system, then we have the bank system (fiat) currently and now we are doing a transition to cryptocurrency. I believe that many people are very radical now in term of changes as we need much better way of doing our online transaction.
