261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: November 12, 2017, 02:34:51 AM
What I'm curious about is how the government will survive without taxes. the goal is to not pay any, but then we wouldn't have a government lol
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CMT]CyberMiles-Incorporate blockchain tech. into the real e-commerce world on: November 12, 2017, 02:23:53 AM
this is such a fascinating project you guys have going on. it's crazy to think that blockchain hasn't been around for long, but the tech itself makes so much sense I wish everyone implemented it a long long time ago to make all of our lives easier and scam-free lol.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ICOS is good or bad ? on: November 12, 2017, 02:10:35 AM
A mixture of due diligence research and knowing how to diversify is always a good idea with investments.

I have 50% invested into bitcoin and ethereuma nd the other 50% into alts like Cybermiles and the bee token.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A newbie just killed Ethereum on: November 07, 2017, 11:05:30 PM
I saw a chart the other day that has ethereum vs. cybermiles token. Very interesting read: https://medium.com/cybermiles/cmt-vs-eth-c7eea2b03632

There are too many vulnerabilities with the current platform.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty or Airdrop ? on: November 07, 2017, 10:56:50 PM
I personally like bounty better. Airdrops seem too good to be true and seem to be reflected on cheaper ico's.

A good bounty going on is for cybermiles. They're allocating millions of their token for their bounty program
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 07, 2017, 10:54:36 PM
Just saw that cybermiles did an airdrop and they also have a referral link that earns you bonus CMT.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token to be hold in 2018 on: November 07, 2017, 10:52:22 PM
Also, I just found out about another one called the bee token. i think they start their pre-sale soon. Here's their whitepaper: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/beenest-public/whitepaper/bee_whitepaper_v2.pdf

Thoughts?
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token to be hold in 2018 on: November 07, 2017, 10:45:50 PM
I would definitely say cybermiles. Very strong team, brilliant idea, crazy demand for the idea, and they are integrating their blockchain on an already-working platform (the 5miles app that has over 12 million users). I recommend looking more into them.

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: October 26, 2017, 02:23:03 AM
HODLing eth, litecoin, civic, and most recently, cybermiles.

Definitely read into cybermiles. Very complex, but disruptive blockchain that is going to revolutionize ecommerce and marketplaces. https://www.inc.com/fivemiles/whats-all-the-talk-about-blockchain-and-why-should-i-even-care.html
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you base your investment in a coin on? on: October 26, 2017, 02:15:46 AM
I think it's hearing about an ico/finding out about one and then doing your own due diligence. Of course this community is here to be your sounding board, but ultimately, it's always your call.

For ex. I heard about cybermiles here and asked various facebook groups about it and got great feedback, all the while reading more into it myself. This is all about community, but it shouldn't be completely dependent on it.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What annoys or worries you most in crypto? on: October 26, 2017, 02:13:22 AM
i agree with everyone above. Volatility of the market due to the amount of scams out there and the government regulations. Just the other day I saw someone offering to start your own ico for $95  Angry

Another thing would be the barrier to entry into the crypto world. I guess that can be a good or bad thing, but this needs to be easier so that it can be widely adopted.
272  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-25] Steve Wozniak: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD on: October 26, 2017, 02:03:46 AM
it's crazy to think that our currency is based on the gold standard. But he makes a valid point. We all know how . much bitcoin is left; however, having one currency won't be possible with all of the ico's out there. Plus, what will we do with our gold??
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best ICO on: October 26, 2017, 02:00:47 AM
This is pretty under the radar, but cybermiles is up and coming. They're trying to decentralize the marketplace through smart business contracts. You really have to look into it because there are so many robust features they're bringing into cybermiles integrating their blockchain into 5miles the app. The easiest way to sum it up is their chief scientist's medium post I found: https://medium.com/cybermiles/what-is-cybermiles-a457f08fa6a7

but honestly, i recommend reading into their whitepaper. Theyre's too much to even type out. https://cm.5miles.com/file/project/Project%20white%20paper%20v.1.7_en-US.pdf
274  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Canada Court Holds ICO Organizer in Contempt on: October 26, 2017, 01:57:55 AM
via CoinDesk  https://www.coindesk.com/canada-court-holds-ico-organizer-contempt/

It is now possible to have a regulated ICO in Canada, via the sandbox program... https://www.securities-administrators.ca/industry_resources.aspx?id=1588

So be prepare to see more and more arrest and lawsuits bring by the Canadian Regulators, on any undocumented, unverified and unregulated ICO.

I think this could be a first step to start to "drain the swamp" from scamsters to good guys..

YES. Couldn't agree more. There's so many scam ico's out there it's annoying af.

The only thing I wonder about is how robust that program is and if it limits blockchains int he future from their full capabilities
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 26, 2017, 01:56:04 AM
Bitcoin has and always will have a promising future. But based on the nature of bitcoin, it is limited in terms of what it can do. Ethereum has a lot of potential because it's a versatile blockchain.

But with crypto and ico's rolling out nowadays, I can see a lot of them being used in our everyday lives.

For ex. with cybermiles, they are decentralizing marketplaces and implementing smart business contracts into 5miles the app (and then commercializing the blockchain for ecommerce). With the blockchain, you don't have a middleman disputing cases. You have buyers, sellers, and arbiters that get paid to solve disputes. They also plan on doing what ambrosus does with food, but more with the supply chain (manufacturer to consumer) so you can get authentic goods.

They are truly scratching an itch and eliminating fees/trouble in the process. I see a future with crypto, but it will have to jump through regulation hoops.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going to buy 6 coins, want advice on: October 26, 2017, 01:50:07 AM
Good list you have going there. The only thing I would recommend to add in there is cybermiles. Big marketplace/ecommerce token that's going to be implemented on the app 5miles and then commercialized for businesses. Interesting twist on marketplaces.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: October 14, 2017, 06:48:34 PM
Bought UKG and planning on HODLing it for a year or so. Their ico ends in a week or so.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading, stockpiling or ICO on: October 14, 2017, 06:28:14 PM
Benn following unikoingold for months as well. Just got into their crowdsale for their platform and team. Thoughts? https://youtu.be/7sKeU0jqlMY
279  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could we invalidate all regulations? on: October 14, 2017, 06:24:47 PM
In utopia it would work, but everyone has their own interests in mind including the government and us as well
280  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and ID on: October 14, 2017, 06:07:34 PM
have you seen the thread of minors asking how to cash out their btc on here? it's anonymous, but if you want to do anything with it, you have to be 18. For ex. cashing it out at a bank
