Napoli don't have an easy game today but their last away games against Fiorentina was in favour of them. They can win this game as well after having a good start to the season. Maybe the opponents so far weren't very tough for Napoli but we have still seen many positive signs in those games. It isn't easy to make a very good start after losing some of your important players. Osimhen is a really important striker for the team now and Manchester United are after him right before the end of the transfer window. But I don't think this will happen.

I don't think, Napoli will release Osimhen to Manchester united in this season than to bring more potential players that will assist the team to improve higher in this season. Osimhen has done a great work in Napoli last season, despite they didn't achieve the title from the season but their strikers really demonstrated well through out the tournament that made many people to believed that they will definitely win this season title. Manchester united really need a potential striker like Osimhen in the team, who has the strength and energy to run and attack to ensure there is victory for them at the end of the match.

Napoli vs Fiorentina match tends to be monotonous and displays a less exciting game, a 0-0 draw became the end of the match.
Napoli was not as sharp as their opening two wins, but a draw was enough to keep them on top of the table.

Roberto Calenda, Osimhen's agent has confirmed that there are no ongoing negotiations, no swap deals to swap Osimhen for Ronaldo.
And Victor Osimhen also confirmed his desire to stay at Napoli and play in the Champions League.
The rumor of the Osimhen swap deal is off. Why would Manchester United swap Ronaldo for Osimhen while still paying the wage of Ronaldo at Napoli? What's the benefit of Manchester United over this? Good to know Osimhen's agent has confirmed this is pretty much bullshit and Osimhen wants to stay at Napoli.

Nottingham Forest is on a buying spree. They're going to sign another player name Willy Boly from Wolverhampton. This is their 19th summer signing, can you believe it? No hide around the bush, talk back and forth for just a few high-worth players. They've done this, signing new players left and right for quite some time. They lost to Tottenham 0-2 recently but since they're basically building their whole team from the ground, this is expected.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Upcoming release of funds to its creditors vs Btc Price on: August 28, 2022, 05:35:41 PM
Honestly, we already saw the "dip" because of the news and people should realize, should have realized long time ago actually, that the news of a thing makes it drop further down than the thing itself. Which means that mt.gox could release the funds and it would not have a big drop, maybe like 1k drop at most and then it will recover.

Just realize that crypto is something that is dangerously volatile based on the news, a great news and it could go up 20%+ and a horrible news and it could crash 20%, doesn't have to happen, just the news of it makes it volatile like that all the time. Hell Elon literally controlled the market with his twitter account for a while.
Are you talking about the 'priced in' effect? I'm pretty sure it wasn't just the news about Mt. Gox's going to release the long-awaited fund but also because of the market and economy. Mt. Gox with 137k BTC (according to the rumor) mean little compared to BTC's 24h trading volume which is at 1,220,000 BTC today. Roughly 10% of the amount of BTC's daily trade volume. It'll cause a little damage but that's it.

The thing is, You can see FED has been repeated many times about to increase the rate. The stock market is already down quite badly. And this is just the weekend. Everyone fears the downturn might escalate more in the Monday opening of the EU and Asia stock markets. That's what makes BTC drop down below $20k and may drop further.

FaZe were heavily the favourite team of the series against Astralis and they already won the first map. They are likely to close up the series by a 2-0 win also. Astralis' being the 4th in the world ranking shouldn't mislead people because their recent performance has dropped a little. Maybe OG defeated Astralis and FaZe both but Astralis are still not playing better than FaZe as a team.

For the remaining matches of the day NIP @1.99 and Vitality @1.63 can be nice choices. NIP might seem a little riskier but I don't see Heroic playing better than them recently. It might be time for NIP to step up.
Astralis' Prime time was in 2017-18, they had an amazing roster and especially Device was doing wonders back then. There isn't much left of that squad anymore. They don't have the overwhelming power they used to in these tournaments.

The other matches of the day are NIP vs Heroic, followed by G2 and Vitality. In the G2- Vitality match, my favorite is Vitality like other bookies. The biggest reason for this is the new IGL signings Hooxi is having a really unproductive tournament and it is affecting team deeply. For the Heroic vs NIP match, Heroic seems closer to me to place a bet.
NIP just won over Heroic very closely 16-14 at map1, Inferno. That's NIP map pick but the result 16-14 shows Heroic was prepared to counter NIP's strats. And they almost got it, almost.
The next match is Mirage which is Heroic map pick. Expect Heroic to fight with everything they have in map2 to drag out over map3 since this is one of the spots left to Blast Premier Fall Final which will be held in November. Then the match between G2 and Vitality will see who's gonna take the final slot of this event.

Tho, it isn't over for teams like Astralis, NIP/Heroic, and G2/Vitality cause they can still fight over 2 slots left in the Blast Premier Fall Showdown which will be held in October.

Why Gambling sites don't offer betting on bitcoin price ?
Like whether bitcoin will go up next hour or go down and stuff like these?

There are some forms of betting on the bitcoin price, eve here on the forum. These are usually predictions games where you can try and guess the bitcoin price at a fixed point in the future, usually the 31. December. The games are mostly setup as raffles and you can't really place multiple bets. But if you only want to bet on the bitcoin price going up or down, why not buy bitcoins directly? There is no need for a casino to do it and you don't have to pay additional fees. If you want more exposure you can buy or sell futures.
Maybe people want to bet on Bitcoin's price because it requires the least amount of time and knowledge? Buying Bitcoin directly requires you to know the market and the current trend. Sort of like an investor considers and outweighs his investment before going in. Future trade is similar. Require a certain amount of knowledge about the leveraged, liquidate risk, reading chart to make a nice entry point,... All seem like hassles to some gambles that just want to bet on Bitcoin's price because he's feeling lucky.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 28, 2022, 10:22:31 AM
In today's matches I do not expect any surprises and I bet on the victories of the favorites: Barcelona and Real Madrid. Real is in high shape since the beginning of the season. Barcelona in the last game showed that the draw in the first match of the season with Rayo was an accident at work. Valladolid and Espanyol should not be a threat to the favorites.
Both (Barcelona and Real Madrid) will both win today and if any of the two play to a draw, it is a very shocking thing and their opposing team must be said to be extraordinary.
But if you look at the past meetings for Barcelona vs Valladolid and Real Madrid vs Espanyol, on average, Barcelona and Real Madrid won more matches.
And it proves that Barcelona and Real Madrid are still much better than Valladolid and Espanyol in La Liga.
True. Match's winner is pretty much easy to guess. Unless Barcelona and Real Madrid have some hip cups then it would be an easy win for both of them. The result of the past matchs between them dont lie. I consider it a safe bet for anyone who wants to bet on those matches.
But maybe the odd and handicapped for Valladolid and Espanyol can offset the outcome of the bets.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 28, 2022, 09:48:45 AM
And so we all got it wrong again, we started very bullish in the first 2 weeks and then last week we have seen the price going down from $25k-$21k. And now it is still going down, the whole crypto market cap is way below the magic numbers of $1 Trillion. So I guess with the Fed and the Mt. Gox news, we are still going to continue with the pain of this bear market at least for the month, and who knows what is going to happen as we enter the last 4 months of this year.
It's going to drop to $15k soon. No one wants to buy BTC at over $20k price if they know Mt Gox will release the money soon. People would dump the thing and move on. They've been waiting for the Mt Gox money for too long already.
And FED hints are already showing about the next hike rate. Honestly, BTC investors ain't stupid. They know the price isn't great in the upcoming days. Everyone loves BTC and wants to buy it but only when it sells at cheap. I'd love to buy more BTC at the 15k price range as well. Call me fuder or whatever but you've DCA'd in the BTC too early. Market's supply and demand decide the price.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 28, 2022, 09:37:48 AM
Yesterday, though not without problems, all the favorites won their matches. Liverpool's amazing performance, scoring 9 goals in the match is an extraordinary feat these days. After a poor start to the season, The Reds players needed a match like this to regain their confidence. Today I bet on the victory of Tottenham, which is playing against Nottingham. I also think West Ham will get their first points this season against Aston Villa.

West Ham will work hard in this match as it has fallen short of expectations.  I expect them to score points in this match.  As for Liverpool;  it was an incredible performance.  I don't remember the match with 9 goals scored by a team for a long time.  Liverpool provided them with the necessary morale.
I don't know how to take the 9 goals scored by Liverpool against a team like Bournemouth in Premier League. Is Liverpool good, having a good day or Bournemouth just that bad? Bournemouth was promoted to Premier League in just 2022 after a brief under tier-2 league in 2020-2022. Seem like the Bournemouth got to play in Premier League was a fluke. After this match, Bournemouth going to suffer a bad stigma on their team for being led 9 goals without even a goal back. No way this was the level of Premier League if teams have such huge score differences.

Hard to believe we have a water crisis when 75% of the world is made of water. But there are droughts everywhere. How they are going to make things better when fresh water is very limited?
I didn't feel it. Maybe it wasn't critical as food shortage because as you said the world is made up of mostly water and the ones that has a water problem are away from the bodies of water but no worries because they receiving a help from different countries. Often times we will see celebrities going on those dry places and they are building up a water system.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case, as we all know Africa is a huge continent all surrounded with water, and even places near the water is having trouble for 2 main reasons. One of them is the fact that water is not clean, meaning it could make you sick if you drink it and that means there would be a lot of people dying because they drank water that was bad for your health.

Second reason is that even though there are water sources near them, they can't really walk that much and come back every day, meaning there needs to be infrastructure, I mean not everywhere in EU has water too, but they have pipes bringing water to them, so Africa needs that too. This is just a common thing people don't know about.
I think the problem of water shortage because of climate change and drought could be lessened by different means and not just 'you have to find a water source. For example, Israel's agriculture technology is way ahead of other countries that still follow the traditional method in which any drought decreases the crop yield. Technologies and innovations in the agriculture sector = lower the need for water, less affected by drought.

But of course, to have that technologies and innovations, you will need money which many Africa can't afford. This becomes a cycle where Africa will likely come out worst compare to the others if the lack of water and drought from climate change continue. Countries like EU and US, they've been applied a lot of those technologies to reduce the effect of water/drought.

Liquid beat Heroic 16-6 on Vertigo, map pick by Liquid. The next map is Overpass and also Heroic map pick. Heroic has a very good record on Overpass which at 100% win rate in 5 maps while Liquid only at 50% win rate over 4 maps. Very likely Heroic going to win their map pick and we'll have to go to map3, Mirage to see who's going to pass the Knockout Stage or step down to the Last Chance Stagemet.

I predicted a Heroic win for this series but Liquid eliminated them by 2-0 after Vertigo and Overpass. I was okay to Heroic's losing the first map but Overpass was winnable for Heroic also. They just lost both maps without making a big effort. jabbi had a really bad day by having only 9 and 7 kills on these maps. Liquid are in a great form these days. The team performance is very impressive. When we check the stats of this series we can easily see that everyone played his role in the way it should have been.

Now Heroic is NIP's opponent and the series is tomorrow. The winner is moving on and honestly it will be a very close series. But if we consider the head-to-heads, NIP have a huge dominance. They won all of their last six matches. If they manage to use this to their advantage their win might be a good option to bet on.
Liquid coming at BLAST Premier Fall too strong bro. They beat G2, beat Complexity, 2-0 swiftly to NIP and Heroic, only lose to Navi. I think they're very close to the peak of this lineup. NA CS scene seems like in the age of revival. First, it was Furia and now Liquid is back to their form of tier 1 team.
The match between Navi and Vitality just ended in 2-0 for Navi. Liquid, Navi, and OG took the prize of 1-3 spots for the BLAST Premier Fall Final. Tomorrow, we'll see 3 more spots to reveal as teams compete for it. For NIP and Heroic, I also think NIP has a better chance to win here. Heroic's performance for this tournament is kinda off.

Chelsea and Leicester have finally reached an agreement on the signing of Wesley Fofana after making numerous offers. As they try to replace the void left by the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, the Blues are in dire need of a defender.

The 21-year-old, who grew up supporting the Blues, now has the price Chelsea and Leicester have agreed. The deal was met by Chelsea's offer of £70m with an additional £10m.
The unique thing is that today Chelsea and Leicester will both be competing in their fourth game of the season which will take place at home to Chelsea today.
Will the 21-year-old player also be used in today's match or will he serve as a substitute first? But it would be better if the player was immediately used in the match if Chelsea really needed a reliable defender.
I don't really know why fofana is very expensive, for me he is not outstanding to much for his market value to be so high like that, you can get better quality less than that price but I think is him or no one in Thomas Tuchel's eyes, I don't think Brendan Rodgers will include him in his game plan because the deal has already been agreed, even last week Brendan Rodgers didn't include him in their game because he feared that he might not be at the right state of mind to involve talk less of now the deal is done. I don't think he can fixture for Chelsea too because the deal has not materialize and not official yet.
Wesley Fofana will sign to Chelsea until 2028 and he's 21 years old now. It meant Fofana will be the backbone of Chelsea for a very long time. Chelsea considered Fofana as a long-time investment in both his skill right now and in the future too. I think you guys shouldn't look at a transfer as just how good a player's skill is at the moment but also his growth stat. Chelsea's investment in Fofana might be paid off later.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia May Have Passed Peak Oil on: August 27, 2022, 10:12:30 AM
I did not know that there was a price point where it would be waste of money to get oil from the ground. From what I gather in this article that if the price is under X dollars, it would be useless to extract oil in some places, and as long as price does go back up, then it would be stopped and not really dealt with. But, isn't it smarter to just do it, store it, and do not sell it until price goes up and then only after the price goes up, you can sell?

This way you would have a ton of oil stored in barrels everywhere, and when the price goes up you could cash them and make a ton of money? Maybe I do not know how oil business works so that is why it sounds weird to me.

That is not a very viable option IMO. Oil storage is not very cheap. I am not sure, but from what I heard it costs $6 per barrel or above to store crude oil for one year. If the crude needs to be stored for 5 years, the storage alone will cost $30-$40 per barrel. So unless it is required for strategic purposes, crude oil storage can't be used to make profit. It can be very risky as well. For example, now crude is trading at $100 per barrel. What will happen in case the prices go down to $40 per barrel all of a sudden and stay there for 5-6 years?
Exactly. From the latest news below indicate Russia can now offload its oil at 30% discount to customers and still see a profit from it. If they keep their oil in storage, it'll hurt their overall balance as the amount of money to upkeep it as you've said. If the oil price keeps going lower, their profit margin could be lower as well so they can't keep hoarding oil in their storage or reserve.

Vitality started to perform very well with spinx. For them, the misutaa-spinx change seems to have made a difference for now. Of course this is a big plus for them. Their firepower seems to have increased.
However, G2 still hasn't settled the team yet. The transfer of Hooxi and Jks honestly excited me a bit. But hooxi is very inadequate in terms of performance. We see that he was weak in finding frag compared to other igl's.
spinx is a real hidden gem. Dude has an insane skill and very good aim. If you watch the last game between Vitality and G2 in map2, nuke. spinx made a running headshot that take me completely by surprise. Overall, 2-1 for Vitality of all 3 maps with spinx at the top frags and a rating at 1.4 (pic).
God damn, Vitality's future is secure if spinx keeps going like this. He can carry Vitality in case zywoo have a bad day. Tonight, Navi goes off against Vitality will be my main joy of the night. The odds seem heavily favor Navi but I think we'll have a close game between those two.

Adrián Sánchez: Frenkie De Jong's agent Ali Dursun told Barcelona to send their official wage reduction proposal in writing.
Good news for Barcelona if they could sort out the problem with de Jong. The season had just started and Barcelona was in Group C in the Champion League with strong teams like Bayern Munich and Inter. Sending de Jong away would be a dumb move cause Barcelona needs a reliable midfielder like de Jong to hold the line. Hope Barcelona manager and player can finally give the wage drama to rest and focus fully on the games.

later today, G2 - Vitality, i might take the Vita @1.7 and maybe Zywoo +20 kills in their map pick, he's popping off lately. Liquid - NIP, over maps, i'm expecting a competitive series
Looking at the G2 side, the new signings were not very helpful in these qualifiers, unfortunately, Jks still manages, but Hooxi has been very bad so far. Vitality's new transfer, Spinx, had good effective matches. While Zywoo carries the team, the others are giving him the necessary support, it's the first time I've seen Vitality this good in a long time. There's a nice odds ratio for Vitality. I wish you the best of luck for your bet. I guess I'm going to place this bet too, because in G2, Hooxi and Jks haven't even played five matches yet, and it looks like they're not compatible.

Agree. At first, I was skeptical about this new lineup of G2. But since they're new, have to give them some time to adjust and train strats together.
But now after quite some time already but this lineup shows nothing new or improvements to justify this change.
Hooxi is an igl so I don't blame him much for underperforming but if his calls give no tactical advantage for G2 then really a wasted spot. Just as I suspect before, Hooxi might just be a ham igl for Niko to overstep the igl calls. First half ended at 11-4 for Vitality. Don't see any chance for G2 to turn around with this score. G2 is going downhill fast.

Poor mOnesy, the kid has to carry his teammate G2 full time now.

I don't know why many people think Lazio can beat Inter at home tonight. Yes, the statistics of their head-to-head encounters suggest that Lazio have often beaten Inter at home recently. But I think Inter have a lot of motivation right now to get to the top of the standings without losing a game like Napoli. Therefore, I think they will put up a serious fight away.
Statistics of Inter vs Lazio in the head-to-head encounters in the last three seasons showed Inter draw 1 match and lose 2 to Lazio. Of course, people would worry about the next meet-up between Inter vs Lazio. You're right. There is a lot of motivation for Inter to beat Lazio but there is also the pressure from the history of losing and drawing pile on Inter as well. It'll be an important match for the underdog Lazio to show if they can repeat history.

There was no influence on Sadio Mane departure with Liverpool performance. I assess the absence of Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, Konate due to injuries that have an impact on Liverpool because at the same time Liverpool also lost Darwin Nunez.
Jurgen Klopp certainly can't relax looking at the composition of his players when facing Manchester United even in the next few games such as against Newcastle who are good in 3 games.
Sadio Mané exit surely have no bigger impact on Liverpool performance, but sadly they are facing some serious injuries issue which can ruin their season because they lost few very important players and these are essential for them to have better replacement of these players surely Jota, Konate and Alcantara need to be fit as soon as possible but here we have some good thing now on this Saturday Liverpool is going to face Bournemouth which is just promoted, so now we can expect a win after three matches from Liverpool even they will be going with their second squad but Klopp will never take this risk, and he will go into this match with full squad and try to punish them for ending his frustration.
Liverpool's performance have dropped drastically, Sadio Mane was a key figure in the team and always came through for the team in very difficult game which they are currently lacking a player like that in the team. The absence of other first team players in the team also have an impact on the teams performance but I cannot ignore the fact that it would have been much better if they still had Mane in the team.
Sadio Mane is a good forward/winger that can control the ball well from midfield. Maybe the recent news about Liverpool wanting to sign Bellingham in the next season could solve the position similar to Sadio Mane before. Bellingham is young and a bit lacking in confidence so right now, he's comfortable at central midfield. Tho, they are trying to get him to get used to the forward, opposite box position.
Anyway, this season I don't have much hope for Liverpool. Wonder what's the plan Kloop has for Liverpool.

I am a Chelsea fan, but to be sincere I'm not really convinced with the way my team have been playing from pre-season. I'm not seeing Chelsea in the title race, even making the top 4 will be a big deal for us this season because we barely create chances when we play. So let just sit back and watch how the season goes.
You're too permissive. The season just got started, bro. Still saw a great chance for the Chelsea club to be in the top 4 if they did the early season players hunting well. What Chelsea needs right now is a midfielder that can be adaptive and creative to fill in as a defender, I think. De Jong is the best here since he's a versatile midfielder and suited for this position in Chelsea.

I heard Chelsea also wants to have Wesley Fofana, a defender. Chelsea made a third bid for Wesley Fofana for 70m, Leicester has rejected it btw. I'm glad that the transfer fell through. Chelsea should save their money to get De Jong and look for a cheaper defender, in my opinion.
