It isn`t right to say about exploding all alts below top100. You certainly should understand, some of current alts will disappear forever, cuz of their full Useless.
Useless is the most important "trend" in new project in 2nd half of 2017 and 1st of 2018, i hope, quite good in crypto understand it easily. So the conclusion is very simple: 2018 will be the year of those alts exploding, which help scalable,safety problems, etc, and alts, which just "great community tokens", will go down for sure. You can screen it:)

In my opinion there are some reasons to think about the end of BTC at this moment: slow transactions, fees, use in real life, etc. It can become analogue of gold, but BTC should prove its value in real economy. But now it`s just good way to invest and make some money in this industry, cuz there are a houge amount of money, which are certainly going to be invested in crypto, institutional investorf, different hedges and others. So we need to follow the market and make the right decision on time, when everybody`ll choose some other currencies.

No No...... bitcoin can never be useless. bitcoin will still helpful even when the value of the bitcoin go down to the 1k$. bitcoin is the world changer. bitcoin is the life changer of people. Bitcoin is the only way by which the unemployment of the world can be reduced. this is the only way by which we can make our self rich in the future and even in very short time.
So tell me please in that case, how we can use at this moment Bitcoin as fiat money to make different micro-transactions?It`s clear to everybody, it is impossible, now because of quite important problems(fees, full mempool, etc) Bitcoin doesn`t have practical applicability, and strong companies understand it, so some centralised alts like Ripple and others became popular, it`s simply to use unlike Btc. The nearest really awesome and high technological project is ArcBlock, it`s quite popular right now, these guys `ll make new system of blockchain, you can check details on their Twitter. And what about spring ICOs, check different rating websites, look on social activity and analyze carefully, firstly, WP, team, useles of blockchain in project and make your own decision, because when ICO becomes Awesome, often whitelist is already closed and you can`t invest in good project on token sale stage.

ICO in current form can` t be the Future of crowdfunding and raising funds for sure. And certainly because of millions of projects, which just could make normal PR, took money and simply scammed (Benebit is the last great example).Investor`s trust will decrease every month , and there will be a lot of scams more, 100%. The idea of ICO is great, but this way becomes very unreliable, and this is really important for big investors. Because of it, V. Buterin made the new version, DAICO, you can check it, some great changes will come soon, this system, firstly, can give much more safety. And if we get safety and confidence in future projects, 2018 will be the great year for new technologies

Now price is too high both for Eth and for Btc, it won`t be the normal financial world system of cryptocurrency, if these 2 main currencies cost like at this moment, i hope everybody understand it, so if we speak about long-term investments in one Alt, i`d prefer something, which can be used by people, as usual micro-payments, buying something in shop etc.Now the good one is Stellar(if it won`t be linked with Ripple), NEM, and I think Verge(XVG) will be the good choice because of its anonymous and safety, It`s simple to use these coins to pay for usual everyday things.

walton chain is very promising with 100 blockchain patents and insane business partnerships. it could be the biggest gainer this year. they have better business partnerships than ripple already

There are enough different projects in structure of blockchain, platforms, trading services. So, as i see the great future of blockchain technology, i`m really looking forward to this technology helps to decide huge problems in state machine of such countries like Russia and all EU. At this moment you should better invest in low cap altcoins, which give x10-x50 too, such as QSP, VeChain etc. Cuz of excess in ICO market, it`s dangerous to invest now in ICO
