261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: December 04, 2017, 02:51:24 PM
the use of the cryptocurrency is illegal in some countries and punishable special at MOROCCO (North Africa)

The fact that Bitcoin can be used anonymously for any transaction, wherever and whenever makes criminals interested in using it. That's why most of the country has not given certainty about the use of Bitcoin in the country. Some countries indirectly approve the use of Bitcoin but with some oversight.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: shopping with BTC on: December 04, 2017, 07:26:01 AM
If we buy stuff with BTCand the company just sells it for cash right away, it's probably not good for the BTCprice.

What do you think?  Will shopping with BTC be good or bad for BTC?
Bitcoin is one type of currency only Bitcoin is a virtual currency that is only available in the digital world. Nowadays one can use Bitcoin to buy almost all kinds of goods ranging from clothing, traveling tickets, insurance and other things you need. Bitcoin can even be used to purchase luxury goods such as watches, cars, wine and paintings. Bitcoin has been widely used all over the world
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: December 03, 2017, 03:56:09 PM
I hear from many sources that btc is used for trading much more than it is for goods and services; doesn't that make it an asset ??
and is that necessarily a bad thing ?? and what can we do about it as a community ??
Bitcoin is Not a Currency. How will a currency function as a "stable" Value Store? If the currency serves as a stable value keeper, then the cause of inflation will occur naturally. Anything that can be a "store of value", must be able to ensure that its value is feasible and can last a lifetime. Comparable to long-term purchasing power
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 03:48:51 PM
Such an announcement is something that has long been predicted before, because online retailing has started to embrace Bitcoin, Amazon is likely to respond well, to maintain its dominance
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Coin is a Ponzi Scheme on: December 01, 2017, 06:39:15 AM
Bit coin is a Ponzi scheme. Don't listen to the bit coin shills on here. The newcomers buying into bit coin and driving up the price are just making the early adopters richer.

That's how stupid people are. A sucker is born every minute. But YOU don't have to be one like all the other bit coiners.

The USD is a valid currency because people are required by law to recognize it's value. It has value because the most powerful superpower on the face of the Earth uses it and backs it.

Where does bit coin get its value from? Some computer nerds living in their mothers' basements and Chinese speculators who say it has value? The few online drug dealers who accept it?

If you can't figure out that buying into a totally faith-based economy, with no regulation whatsoever, of a imaginary currency that only exists virtually, through a broker that has no compelling reason to give you any of your money back other than possible negative word-of-mouth, is a bad idea, then maybe you should really consider spending less time speculating on BTC and more time getting remedial education.
In the Ponzi scheme, business co-founders will reassure investors that they will get a profit on some level, while Bitcoin does not promise such a thing. No central entity; there are only individuals who run a decentralized economy.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: November 30, 2017, 11:10:35 AM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our money/assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Bitcoin will not be the main global currency, but it will force the whole world to pursue what Bitcoin can do for everyone who uses it. Bitcoin provides many unique features.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 29, 2017, 04:55:17 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.
On the one hand, Bitcoin is very transparent like a general ladger that gives full visibility of where transactions go and where Bitcoin is sent. On the other hand, no one knows who holds a particular bitcoin address
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: November 28, 2017, 03:06:15 PM
Hi btkers , discussion about the relationship between governments and cryptocurrencies.
Why don't governments officialise the use of cryptocurrencies .
Can these cryptocurrencies affect countries economy?
The Indonesian government seems to have yet to provide clear regulation on virtual currency including bitcoin. The government's stance is generally to prohibit transactions using currencies other than rupiah across Indonesia. But to determine the bitcoin as a commodity or not is also unclear.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: November 27, 2017, 03:02:02 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Bitcoin protocol and cryptographic technologies have a strong record of security records, and the Bitcoin network is probably the largest distributed tally project in the world
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin mining? on: November 27, 2017, 01:20:57 PM
Actually, one thing is not clear to me that what is Bitcoin mining?I have tried to know a lot by myself, to know it.But I can not understand. Can anyone explain to me please?
Bitcoin is heavily dependent on the mining process. Due to the mining carried out by miners Bitcoin (miner) it will validate every transaction, build and store the new block into the blockchain
271  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: November 26, 2017, 02:04:52 PM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

Well one that i can think of is that it is still not perfectly anonymous. Personally i'd like to see bitcoin evolve into the future into something like XMR with essentially in built coin mixing. This is probably not necessary but rather an add on.

Another thing is that, fees are often high.

Also, blocks are 10 minutes on average in between so that means you're probably not going to be able to get stuff irl instantaneously without the merchant having to trust you.
one of the weaknesses of bitcoin, the lack of government control also makes bitcoin seem worthless. In addition, some financial observers consider bitcoin as illegal currency because it is not encouraged legislation lawful in the eyes of the law
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 26, 2017, 01:03:29 PM
Bitcoin helps to make money, but he does not reduce the number of unemployed. It is not even the currency you need to earn now, but the investment that secured people can afford.
Bitcoin has certain advantages over paper currency. Digital currency is immune to capital controls and other forms of restrictions typically imposed by governments and central banks on fiat currencies. At the same time, the limited supply of Bitcoin also offers the promise of a better value in the future
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2017, 11:35:35 AM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why
not just in the crypto field. in other areas of her even fewer women .. because women are more active even in demand at home jobs so little time for work outside the home but did not rule out the desire of women to interact.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: November 24, 2017, 02:42:51 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
is it possible for bitcoin to be made a lesson in college while the government does not accept bitcoin .... I think it will not happen until whenever

Unlike conventional counterfeit currency, the cryptographic rules applied to bitcoins make their owners avoid the same risks

good question. if the bitcoin is said to be a currency of course can only be
made in the means of payment alone there is no advantage that can be in .. more precisely the bitcoin assets that can be in the lag and traded where the profit depends on the price of the asset itself
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 04:13:48 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

I will never quit my job because my job is my life insurance .... bitcoin only extra income for me because I use bitcoin on the sidelines during my spare time
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: November 23, 2017, 03:02:58 PM

Would love any feedback!
if the ducks die due to lack of feed and less maintenance from the breeders as well as bitcoin will die when the user is getting reduced and more
279  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your goals in 2018? on: November 22, 2017, 07:33:39 AM
Hello guys,

Currently many people buy and hold crypto currencies for many reasons.

It will be interesting to share your goals in 2018.

Mine would be to make 20,000$ profit then I would take back my initial investment plus half of the profit. The remaining half will be used for re-investment.

How's about your goal and plan?

2018 is coming soon. will something dramatic happen to bitcoin crypto. should i start collecting bitcoin now ?? all still in the plan!
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 21, 2017, 11:04:09 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
we already know together that all that will not be eternal all must end .. but for long-lasting endeavors all need effort, if the bitcoin users persist or increasing then semangkin will support its survival bitcoin for a long time.
