261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Walleting.Services] Bitcoin Gold 2FA & MultiSig Digging Service on: November 21, 2017, 02:34:24 PM
We are anxious to prove we are a legitimate service, as we feel there are many more out there trying to get Bitcoin gold out of 2FA and multisig addresses, but the process is too hard and the price is too low to deal with it.  We stand by ready to work.

============ Overview ==========

A Bitcoin fork is when a new project copies the Bitcoin blockchain and starts mining their newly created network. Because these projects start with the existing Bitcoin blockchain, if you held Bitcoin before the fork your private keys are valid for coins on the new network. Walleting.Services created our automated fork extraction tool so that Bitcoin holders can easily claim these forked coins without downloading new software or creating complicated hex transactions. With our service, after you have emptied your seed or private key of any bitcoin, navigate to https://dig.walleting.services/#/ then input your seed or private key and your receiving address for the forked coin you wish to extract, click "Dig," and we do the rest. Most extractions done within a minute or two. Our service charges a 10% fee, taken from the extracted coins.

============ Manual Service & Support ==========

WS offers manual extraction service & support via email: walleting.services@protonmail.com PGP key listed below.
Now matter how you had your Bitcoins stored, (so long as you control the private keys) we can recover the forked coins.

After your email interaction ends we delete all communication, wallet seeds, and addresses from our system. WS respects your privacy.

================ Rates ===============

Extractions are done at 10%.

Has anyone had success freeing their BTG from a 2FA / multisig address?

We have the raw transaction created, but when we go to sendrawtransaction in Bitcoin Gold Core we get an error:

We are trying to broadcast a raw transaction from a mutlisig address through Bitcoin Gold Core and getting the error:

16: mandatory-script-verify-flag-failed (Signature must be zero for failed CHECK(MULTI)SIG operation) (code -26)

Anyone else try to get BTG from multisig addresses?

Any service offering to broadcast transactions yet?

Offering 1 BTG bounty for help with the following:

- Had BTC in an electrum wallet with 2FA (trustedcoin)
- Now have an address that starts 3XXXXX with BTG in it and want to send it
- Used redeem script to find the 3 public keys, needing 2 of them to sign
- Have the 2 private keys for the addresses needed to sign
- Have a Bitcoin Gold Core wallet updated and indexed with the entire Blockchain

Need help creating the raw transaction to move the BTG to a BTG address of my choosing

Offering 1 BTG for someone to help walk us through this.

Update:

Have found 2 private keys for a 2-of-3 multisig address with BTG in it.

Working on creating the raw transaction to broadcast in the Bitcoin Gold Core wallet.

We were successful in extracting the Bitcoin Gold from a multisig address that was made using the Electrum-Trustedcoin method. Our 2Fa / multisig BTG digging service is now open for business.

This is a dedicated thread for those using Electrum 2FA or Multisig wallets trying to claim your Bitcoin Gold:
This post was useful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1989369.msg19853098#msg19853098
The Process:

0) empty your real BTC & BCH from the wallet
1) Regenerate your 2FA electrum wallet with the seed, select "disable" 2FA
2) Find your multisig address with BTG in it. It starts with a 3. Right click, details
3) copy-past your Redeem Script here: https://coinb.in/#verify (save page offline for maximum security)
4) (for 2-of-3 methods, as most will be) find the 3 addresses that need at least 2 of them to sign
5) Dig your X1 & X2 xpriv keys from the text file in your regenerated, password-less, disabled 2FA wallet file.  It's in plain text. Windows it's in %appdata%/electrum, mac it's in ~/.electrum. Linux is in Go -> Location and type ~/.electrum
6) Make a 2 new standard electrum wallets using the 2 xprv keys and find one of the addresses needed to sign your 2FA address in each of them.
OR
6a) Use this: https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ or this http://bip32.org/ to find the private keys using the 2 xprv keys you dug out earlier. (we ended up generating 10,000 keys to find ours)
7) Create your new transaction in the Bitcoin Gold Debug Console (get Hex)
Cool Sign the transaction with the first key (get Hex)
9) Sign the transaction with the second key (get Hex)
10) sendrawtransaction "hex"

[scroll down a few posts for the exact commands to enter into the console]

An update for those with Electrum 2FA wallets trying to claim your Bitcoin Gold:

This post seems useful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1989369.msg19853098#msg19853098

It seems the process is:

(assume you have emptied your real BTC from the wallet)

6) (This is where we are currently stuck) Make a new standard electrum wallet using the xprv key and find one of the addresses needed to sign your 2FA address. (we did this but do not see any of the 3 addresses listed in the address tab)
7) use 2 of the 3 private keys to sign your multisig address (Investigating how to do this and how to use this to claim the BTG)

So if anyone has any luck here, we would love to hear about the process
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 18, 2017, 01:45:47 PM
Has anyone had any luck sweeping multisig private keys into Bitcoin Gold Core wallet on windows?

After endless rescans and imports, the addresses show up in receiving tab but no BTG in the wallet. The addresses imported show a positive balance on the Bitcoingold.org explorer and the BTG addresses show no sign of moving on the btgexplorer.com site.

 Huh
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extracting Bitcoin Gold without the Coinomi wallet on: November 18, 2017, 01:35:36 PM
The saga continues.

Downloaded Bitcoin Gold Core, used the following command in the debug console:

importprivkey L1SLw5C14f8KBZCfUow3h5acE_NOT_A_REAL_KEYZLMiLo3fgoDWxHjCTuzyGPcd "btg1"
[wait 45 minutes to 1 hr for a rescan]

console reports back "null" which means no errors.  The "btg1" address shows up under "receiving address"

Still no luck.  This is from a multisig BTCvaddress that starts with a 3XXX.

https://btgexplorer.com/ doesn't seem to be much help. When we put in the BTC address it give an error, when we put in the BTG address found from the BTC private key it gives an error.

The pre-mainnet explorer on BitcoinGold.org finds the coins when entering a BTC address, but not the BTG address. We believe that explorer functions as intended.

Gold Core wallet doesn't find the BTG even after the [Suspicious link removed]pletely downloaded, the import worked, and the rescan.

Anyone else having similar issues?

274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Extracting Bitcoin Gold without the Coinomi wallet (BTG Core) (status: issues) on: November 17, 2017, 09:18:26 PM
Hello,

We are currently working with a client to extract Bitcoin Gold from multi-signature Bitcoin addresses starting with a 3. We have tried the Coinomi process but it seems that process does not accept the multi-signature addresses.

We have downloaded the bootstrap.dat file for Bitcoin Gold Core and now have the Gold Core client "Processing blocks on disk" which we expect to take some time. If anyone has already done this and can report an expected time frame that would be great.

We are wondering if anyone else has come to a better solution with a web wallet or other "light" wallet system other than Coinomi. We suspect the ecosystem is too new for this to have happened and are resigned to slogging through the Core process.

We will report our full findings including time taken to process the bootstrap file after we have completed this job.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: November 07, 2017, 07:25:24 PM
Etherdelta is the best.

WS likes EtherDelta for use an an exchange.

For maximum security you should generate your key pairs offline, then transfer ETH and tokens to you secure address.

Because EtherDelta can show you your private key in a browser, we don't like it for use as a wallet.
