Payouts will be in ETH, so we can use smart contracts to manage them conveniently. As long as you hold MIO Tokens, you will receive a share of net output. Please see the website www.MinerOne.io and read the White Paper for all the details.

To be clear, we are not selling equipment. We will use the most advanced ASIC miners available to mine bitcoin (currently the Ebang Ebit Miner E10) and distribute the proceeds (in ETH using smart contracts) to the community (i.e., MIO Token Holders). As for your last question: Miner One is precisely geared towards non-miners - people who want to participate and benefit, but don't want the hassle of a do-it-yourself project.

Thanks for the question. Lightning Network is not a new project. It has been around for a few years now. We don't anticipate it will have a major impact on Miner One.

Not sure we understand your question about developing something like MVP.

If we didn't think we could build a profitable crowdfunded mining operation, we wouldn't be attempting it.
We are confident in our calculations, which can be examined in our White Paper at www.MinerOne.io . They are based on a range of possible scenarios that takes even dramatic fluctuations into account.

Yes, we are just getting it ready. Frankly, the response to the pre-ICO was overwhelming, but now we have expanded the communications team and the bounty program will be ready within a week or so (definitely before the February 15 ICO). Stay tuned!

Sorry for our recent silence. It’s been an incredibly eventful month at Miner One as we gear up for our February 15 ICO.

Our pre-ICO was a resounding success. All 330,000 MIO Tokens assigned. In fact, the pre-ICO was oversubscribed, with requests for nearly 600,000 MIO Tokens at the special rate we were offering. We couldn’t fully meet the demand, so we have just announced a pricing schedule for MIO Tokens for the ICO with “Early Bird” deals of up to 35% off.

In other news: we finalised a multi-million-dollar partnership with TokenDesk, inked a deal to set up the first Miner One Mining Centre in a 4000m2+ facility in Luleå, Sweden (where we will have the best electricity rates in Europe and a climate that keeps equipment cool at low cost). Given the enthusiasm and new investments we’ve attracted, we decided to raise our hard cap from USD 50m to USD 200m (in ETH equivalent). If we hit that upper target, Miner One will become the World’s Biggest Crowdfunded Crypto Mining Operation and we will have incredible leverage to negotiate great deals on behalf of the Miner One Community to maximize the output we distribute.

As we ramp up our communications campaign in advance of the February 15 ICO, we promise to be more active here with updates and answers to any questions you may have. Information about the Bounty Program is coming shortly - frankly, we were overwhelmed by the response to our pre-ICO. But we have now engaged the help of a reliable partner to help us develop and implement the Bounty Program, as well as additional team members who will help answer questions. First of all, we have a very strong team with experience in datacentre construction and management.
We  are negotiating with hardware manufacturers to get latest and most powerful miners at the wholesale prices.
Another important part for mining is - Electricity  we will be mining in Sweden with very good electricity rates - 0.065 EUR per kWh.

Output distribution will be managed this way: One hundred (100) percent of Miner One output minus electricity costs will be distributed to MIO Token Holders (public token holders: 70%, team: 30% (operating costs, rent, etc. included)).
