261  Economy / Gambling / Re: The PrimeDice Rakeback Program! on: July 05, 2015, 08:59:19 PM
I understand the idea but I doubt someone who can afford to bet 10 BTC will be happy with 0.009 BTC referral commission.

The wagering does soon add up if you bet a lot on dice and its free money really, but yeah i still think its hard to attract sign ups due to most people are looking to gamble on dice.  Rakeback in poker seems to be popular due to being able to break even/win long term in poker.

If you play on dice a lot though you might aswell sign up for rakeback, its a no brainer.

at the same time, there's nothing stopping people from referring themselves on a separate account. even though primedice takes care of this automatically, people can just a VPN or TOR to bypass this.

Yep this is another reason why cashback programs with bitcoin banking are tricky to get going.  The whole affiliate business could be shaped differently under bitcoin.
cashback programs are decent if run by the house, especially in a gambling scene that makes sense such as poker or sportsbook betting. this kind of system, where a user will be providing rake back from referral earnings promotes abuse in my opinion; since referrals will be given from a percentage of a wager, id think some people that opt in for this program would be inclined to minimum multiplier bet a percentage of their bankroll on autobet in an attempt to get the most amount wagered, ie they would do this for profit.
I think this is good for the house too, because people will try to do that, and fail.

I just figured I would help out the community, by giving them back some of their money they lose to the house Smiley

No different than if somebody wanted to bet 10BTC on 1.1x and win and walk .-.... But I do see what you mean Smiley

So just to be clear, this is not an official rakeback offered as part of the site, but a service you are offering to get some referrals?  I like the idea, and if I decide to gamble there this is a good option to pad my gains/losses a bit.  Good luck Smiley
Thanks man!
Please make sure you pm me first though.

how t be under ur referal?

Must PM me, and I will hook you up if you meet the criteria... I use PM because this way I can VERIFY you are on my referral list, and I don't clog the thread.

I understand the idea but I doubt someone who can afford to bet 10 BTC will be happy with 0.009 BTC referral commission.
If they hold 10BTC, chances are they would wager somewhere around 100-200 BTC... Doing the math, that would be an extra $20-$40 that they wouldn't have had if  they just played without the system.
265  Economy / Gambling / Re: The PrimeDice Rakeback Program! on: July 04, 2015, 04:34:07 PM

I tried this for a while with higher rates infact but its very hard to get sign ups no matter what the rates you offer, i've actually got more sign ups from just sticking a link on dice youtube vids i made.  Anyhow, good luck!
Thanks buddy Smiley I've made a video as well ^_^

266  Economy / Gambling / The PrimeDice Rakeback Program! on: July 04, 2015, 12:34:07 PM
Hey Players!

As many of you all know, some players requested to have their commission percentage raised to gain more off of their referred earnings.

You also aren't allowed to refer yourself, as that would be considered cheating, and chances are you would lose your bitcoins.

What is the PrimeDice Rakeback Program?

It's a system that is not new, but I'm implementing so that many of you 'high rollers' can make an extra bang for your buck.

What is RAKEBACK?
As google translates it:

"Rakeback is the part of the rake that you get back either directly from a poker room or from a poker affiliate".

Surely PrimeDice isn't poker, but it still works the same way.

The PlanBTC:
I make 0.2% of all rolls made by my referrals. That translates to 0.002 BTC for each 1.0 BTC Wagered.
Rates will be updated in the near future, but I'm currently looking at paying 45% of whatever you earn me.
Example:
You wager 10BTC, I earn 0.02BTC in commission, and you get 0.009.

Now if you also think about this for a moment. If you wager 10BTC, profit yourself 1-2BTC gambling, you get an extra 0.009BTC just by being my referral

After you sign up using my referral link, and verified you are indeed part of my REFERRALS, you will earn yourself a spot in the earnings!

Who is eligible?
  • Anybody whom holds 5BTC currently in a wallet
OR
  • Currently Holds 20BTC in total wager and has a minimum of 0.1BTC.
Anybody whom holds 5BTC currently in a wallet

How do I know you won't just keep the commission?
Well that's a risk you should be willing to take.
Whether you play on your own account, or this new account you lose nothing, and I gain something.
But I don't intend to walk out on anybody... Because I'm not giving you 100% of all commission, I will always make something for myself.

Why would you want to split the profit with players, and not keep it for yourself?

I could get lucky to find some high rollers that want to play, but I'm essentially doing this for a commission achievement (Earn 5BTC Commission), and I wouldn't mind paying it forward and thanking you all for helping me get to a goal.
Calculated amount required to get to 5BTC commission is: 2500BTC
Calculated amount given back to my referrals :                                                           2.25BTC (That's almost $500 in FREE TIPS)
Calculated amount I will earn:                                           2.75BTC

When can we request PAYOUT?
When you have a balance of 0.001BTC to withdraw (Total Wager * 0.002 * 0.45)

Post below if you would like the link to be my referral, and we will talk via PM so that we don't spam the forums, and we can talk privately Smiley

271  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.ME - CRYPTO CASINO - DICE - BLACKJACK - >100BTC MAX PROFIT - 1 YEAR OLD on: March 17, 2015, 01:00:09 AM
Visited the site over a while and saw that players have been winning a lot lately. So i tried a little of my own luck and turned 0.02 into 0.1
The new site looks much better than the old one
P.S I remember there was a talk about a system that would allow users to swap one currency for another using chat. Is that system still in development or was it just an idea?

First off congratz on your winnings on the site!
The system has been mentioned but i have no idea if and when it will be implemented. Maybe after the Blackjack and Roulette are released.
Still banned man.

I'm having trouble...

I can't move a card into position where I have a play at...

http://prntscr.com/6gir4o

I made a video if you want me to send it to you.

Thanks for report.

Can you specify the issue, please?

  • Is the card stuck so you cannot move it at all? Or you get an error when you move it?
  • What web browser do you use? Version number would be helpful too.
  • Does the error persist after game page refresh?

Your answers will help us to resolve this problem.
