262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit vs Bitcoin unlimited on: January 31, 2017, 12:11:16 AM
SegWit is far more progressive solution and it solves several problems not just scalability. Besides SegWit is softfork and Unlimited is hardfork. Remember what happened with Etherium after hardfork?

Yeah, hardfork means not decentralized any more, look ETH dumled hard in recent months, ETH will be killed IMO. Softfork is much better than hardfork.
263  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: NBitcoin - bitcoin on C# why? on: January 31, 2017, 12:04:20 AM
Microsoft technologies are not very popular by programmers with revolutionary spirit. Linux and free software are preferred in the free world. It's not the products of marketing firms like Microsoft.

that's why the question

isn't java more popular than C# in enterprise?

Java more popular than C#, imo creator of nbitcoin is C# supporter so he create lib for bitcoin in C#. Just like you said, java is popular than C# if you can code in java why you not create it?

Is there existed Java bitcoin core? AFAIK, NXT is written in Java, but NXT is altcoin, not bitcoin. But NBitcoin is rewriten bitcoin code in C#, it helps C# programmer develop apps, while Java can't unless you build something based on NXT.

265  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many people exist today that fully understand the Bitcoin protocol? on: January 26, 2017, 02:43:18 PM
True, it is very few, there are less than 100 bitcoin contributors and most of them are bitcoin experts, also some CEO, CTO in bitcoin, blackchain companies can be experts too.
266  Other / Archival / Re: gooddice.us with 50,000 btc house(bank roll) on: January 26, 2017, 02:39:13 PM
Tried to withdraw a tiny amount, nothing came through. This seems like a scam, do not deposit.

Wait patiently, and then to make a scam accusation thread, let more people know this is a scam site. Wishe you good luck and get paid, my pal.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈🏀⚽ POWERBET.IO 🔹 100% First Deposit Bonus 🔸 Top Odds 🔹 Instant withdrawals on: January 26, 2017, 02:33:54 PM
@ Tigpro Hi, your deposit was returned to you as per your request. We will notify you when the technical problem affecting deposits will be solved.

@ spbettor Hi, as a result of voiding all your arbitrage bets, your balance with us is actually negative at this time - this is due to the fact that your withdrawn winnings (which we now voided for being obtained in violation of our terms and conditions) are higher than your deposits.

P.S. The bitcointalk forum should not be used for customer support inquiries, we can be reached by other means as well.

Why do you void arbitrage winnings? You don't allow arbitrage on your site? Do you mean he bet on double side to decrease the risk? IMO it is acceptable.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Banana Fund - Crowdfunding & Development on: January 26, 2017, 02:30:56 PM
Please scroll back, we have already sent all the proofs. We are busy right now working on the Marketplace. ITO is about to finish in a few hours.

What proofs? No such proof I found, you only posted wow, we have 200 btc, yeah we have 300 btc, and yelling we have 500, 600 BTC, but surely you have nothing.
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: 12% loses since joining satoshidice on: January 26, 2017, 02:20:24 PM
Well, if casinos would always win, nobody would play there at all. That s why it s called gambling.

You are right, but casino houses are always in the end, I mean they make profit in the long term, if they lose this tiem, they will win next time, and finally players bust all of the fund, 95% gambling story are like this, 90% gamblers are losers in the long term.
270  Economy / Gambling / Re: ░▒▓█ ★ Coinroll ★ 200k BTC Wagered | Instant Dice Game | 1% Edge ★ █▓▒░ on: January 26, 2017, 02:15:53 PM
I don't get it, why this dice site has so less traffic? I see they hire lots of high rank members to post, it should be more popular than current 6 pages replies.

Yeah I thought that is strange. But maybe there were never any issues before, so there was really no need for discussion-until now...who knows.

Stable sites like primedice and betking are always bumped in the first or second page in gambling section, I doubt this site will continue or not, their campaign pays lower than others' as well. Maybe they need more advertisers
271  Other / Archival / Re: gooddice.us with 50,000 btc house(bank roll) on: January 26, 2017, 01:40:41 PM
Interesting. It seems like a Chinese site translated to English (there's a few untranslated strings like: "余额不足!"). I've always wondered what the Chinese-bitcoin-gambling market is like (and how big it is).

Anyway, if you want people to take your site seriously you'll need to sign a message from a well funded bitcoin address, so people can verify you really have such an incredible amount of funds for your bankroll Grin

LOL, it is doen by Chinese, and Chinese like lying, one notorious Chinese scam site is girlbtc.com, and ther other one is btcfanbei. Maybe OP is one of the 2 sites' owners.
I really don't want to derail this thread but I notice that he kinda have the same posting style with girlbtc.

If this site owner is really girlbtc, it would be very scammy, he had bad reputation, if he wants to have real business, he should be honest.
272  Economy / Gambling / Re: DuckDice.io – your Dice Game alternative! on: January 26, 2017, 01:36:43 PM
New release has been made, so today DuckDice became even cooler:)

we've made some fixes to our rainbot so now our chat will rain more and better!
added Hindi chat room as many of our members requested;
added user search, so now you can search for your friends and soon you will be able to add them into your friends list and send them PM Wink
and finally you will be able to claim your deposit bonus automatically from the Bonus page! No request and delays:)

Auto bonus system helps a lot, we don't need to ask you to add it any more, and do you have a progress bar of bonus rollover progress? If yes, it could be better, we can know rollover by ourselves.

Do you ban some countries? Once I saw your ad on BCT forum, but I can't open it because my region is restricted to access your site. So which cointires are not allowed? If we visit through VPN, will we get banned?

We're almost there. Intended to launch around midnight however stretching our last bits we have a to sleep a few hours, so it will draw to the last hours of Thursday afternoon. Until that we have a little work to do thus can't offer you any more sophisticated humor to match with the sentiment of this, still joyfully unmoderated, thread  Grin

It is always launching soon you said this, but it is still not launched, lol, be quick dude, otherwise people are not happy, some people are already not happy right now.

Yup, it was covered in a thread about 2016 ROI.

I think it was a very interesting thread with good information but nobody seemed interested in keeping it bumped.  I think that thread should had been stickied as an announcement, IMHO.

Great info, are these coins on poloniex listed? I see lisk and stratis were pumped hard, but they didn't on poloniex in Jan of 2016, that is why they don't list on the table right?

Stratis is rising again, which is very happy day, it looks like Stratis' new floor is 8k sat, after last FUD made people panic dump, this time Stratis is strong again. Let us surpass Pascal's volume, dominate the market.  Cool
