261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: May 11, 2023, 11:41:49 AM
Now there is a chance for Kolkata Knight Riders who started very badly but recently they have come back strongly in this IPL. If KKR can win against Rajasthan Royals today, they will move to number three in the points table. And if Rajasthan Royals can win today's match, then Rajasthan Royals will move to number three in the points table, that is, there is no option for both of them to win in the fight for survival in IPL.
I think if Rinku Singh can show a good performance in this match then Kolkata will have the winning chance. I have seen the early some matches of Kolkata Knight Riders where Rinku Singh good performance lead to Kolkata Knight Riders won the match. Though Kolkata have a good squad, they are not making much of an impact in this edition of IPL. Neither Andre Russell nor Sunil Narine are performing up to their ability. Moreover, it is becoming very difficult to make predictions in the IPL. So there is no opportunity to say anything until the first innings of the match is over.
Russel managed to play a good inning in the last match and he was probably the reason why they reached so close and then Rinku finished the game with a four in the last ball, but Narine has been constantly performing badly throughout the tournament and I don't understand why they are still having him in the playing 11.

Rinku has been consistent this tournament and he made the team win about 2 to 3 matches already, but they shouldn't just rely on him as he can also get out early some day, and others will lead to rise to the occasion and save the day.
262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Opening an Account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook is the Future of Sports Betting on: May 11, 2023, 09:14:01 AM
Don't miss out on the future of sports betting. Open an account with a Bitcoin sportsbook today and start enjoying the convenience and security you deserve.
I'm pretty sure, users and those who bet on sports-type gambling, placing bets on not just 1 or 2 gambling sites, maybe the Bitcoin Sportsbook gambling site, has been their choice from the start until now, including I have an account on the Bitcoin Sportsbook gambling site.

We understand that every sports betting site offers different sports payouts/wins, but for me sports betting sites are the same, although some sportsbook betting sites have different options, the point is we stick to the analysis and development guidelines of the team that bets, bets on the Bitcoin Sportsbook gambling site, if not based on a number of things in the bet the result will still be the same and it doesn't work.
There can be some differences in different sports betting platforms, the very first thing that will surely be different is the reputation and trust of the community on different sports betting platforms. Some are older and more reputed while some are new in the competition and are only just building their reputation within the community.

There can also be a slight difference in the odds of different sportsbooks for the same matches, it won't really be much but only in fractions sometimes. So basically, every sportsbook is slightly different than the other.
263  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Blockchain.info a scam? on: May 11, 2023, 08:34:30 AM
Is it worth transferring your tiny amount of Satoshi for 15k sat, why are you in a hurry to transfer, you could have to wait a few more days for the network to decongest, and you could have saved half of your fees,
My advice to you is if it's only a small amount and it's not that urgent wait for the right time to transfer and transfer at a fee where you are more convenient.
You can monitor the transfer fee here
https://mempool.space/.

And use a wallet that you are more comfortable using, but do explore other wallets as well, but always go for a hardware wallet if it's a big amount of coins that you'll be storing.
Though you have suggested the right thing, your timing is pretty off in this case. The guy has done the transaction last month and the network was not congested at that time nor there was much traffic in the mempool. This congestion has just happened this week or last week by most, for the transaction fees that OP paid to the wallet was probably not due to this.

Some wallets basically charge more fees on transactions but I don't think that blockchain.com would do that since it is one of the best online wallets out there in terms of security and usability, maybe the fees were just high at that time or for that particular day.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 10, 2023, 06:51:02 PM
We're talking Monopoly bucks here, folks. Winning at the casino feels like a triumph, but it's just numbers on screens. Crypto has its edge: top-notch security, hush-hush privacy, decentralized power. Plus, boasting bets in Bitcoin or Ethereum? Undeniably rad.

Yet fiat's got the charm. Stability, universal acceptance, a tried-and-true history. Betting with dollars, euros, or hometown currency? Timeless cool. The choice is yours: embrace the crypto frontier or stick with fiat tradition. Just remember to have fun and not take it too seriously!
So, you think Fiat has got the charm, how about the transaction confirmation time? And transaction fees? Especially if you are gambling from a foreign country and using your debit or credit card to load your account, there are international currency conversion charges and whatnot, sum all that up and you would be able to play a whole session with that money if you were using cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrencies are fast, more secure, and way cheaper in terms of fees and taxes, and most importantly, there is no one sitting at a computer watching you transact your money into the casino and then taking them out from there.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: May 10, 2023, 12:12:30 PM
Reducing gambling promotions is obviously not to stop existing gamblers from gambling but it is to stop the spread of gambling among younger generations that tend to have an undying affection for the game of football. If you notice, there is a very large percentage of kids and young guys who are fans of football and players.

So the initiative is basically to stop promoting gambling platforms on the match-day t-shirts so that those young guys and children don't get influenced and start gambling at an early age which is a good initiative in my opinion.
Well, it is a good solution indeed if that is their target. But I think they should also take out the gambling advertisements being shown on live television at the dome or the court. Then, there are names on the sidelines too so the kids can still get a glimpse of it.
Those who also watch in pay-per-view and local sports channels are making advertisements about the gambling platforms, heck even the commentators are the ones telling where the trusted sportsbook is.
Example: NBA commentators announce Fanduel, and then most of the time they also present how much the Over and under before the game and the spreads. Kids can still see that.
If they will take this all out, a lot of money will be gone and I don't think even the league itself will like that idea.
Well, one at a time, I guess. They can't simply just remove all the advertisements of gambling platforms since those platforms pay a bunch of money to get those advertisement spots in the stadium, but if they have a plan to totally vanish such promotions, they will probably do it slowly so that they can get a cover for those places instead of these.

But, I think they won't completely clear off the casino advertisements and there will always be one out there maybe not on the t-shirts or shorts but somewhere in the stadium or outside of it.
266  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of crypto casinos with high wagering requirements on: May 10, 2023, 08:48:10 AM
Really, i don`t see a problem to bet 5x in casino. If you choose a casino for a long gambling you easily bet 5x.
Playing in a casino for long time is OK, but imagine of you have just made a deposit, played for a while and you win 2x-3x of your initial deposit and you cant withdraw it because you have not wagered 5x as per rule.
This rule will force you to keep betting until you meet the wagering requirement, which means that there is a chance for you to lose what you have just won + your deposit although there is also a chance for you to win more.
However if you are type of gambler who have a limit/target on every gambling session, this rule will destroy your target/limit on winning.
Even if you are not someone who has a limit or a target for a specific session, you would still want to withdraw the money you've won if you've already completed at least 1x or 2x wagering requirement, and you have all the rights to get angry or frustrated if the casino refuses to pay you and asks you to wager more in order to get your withdraw.

That is pretty messed up considering you have been playing with the money you've deposited and not a bonus provided by them, so their requirement to prevent money laundering and stuff should be completed when you have wagered 2x already.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 10, 2023, 05:54:59 AM
So far, in my opinion, the best option for work seems to be online, especially if it has flexible hours and a working schedule. You can work from wherever and whenever you want, provided you get the job done. Digital nomads have been increasing over the past few years, and it seems like a perfect opportunity that provides work-life balance. I believe that it's something that would suit my personal needs. I want to travel and explore as many destinations as possible, so working a regular 9-5 job with 20 vacation days per year isn't going to cut it.

So yes, would you consider moving abroad for a better future? Would you try to find a way to stay in your country, either through online work or by accessing all possible opportunities?
Who doesn't like staying within their own country and living around the people that they love and have always been around? But it becomes mandatory for some to move somewhere else only to find better opportunities and to get and provide a better life for their loved ones, and though it's not easy, one doesn't always have a choice.

I personally would definitely love to have the opportunity to work online from home or anywhere I want to, as you said, you can travel, move somewhere else, or do anything and you won't have to worry about your job since you carry it with you all the time.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why can't regular flash drives store Bitcoin on: May 09, 2023, 04:31:31 PM
You can store your Bitcoin on a flash drive but it depends on you how you protect your wallet.
There is no problem with storing BTC in a flash drive just make sure that you know how to protect your wallets from any attacks.
Well said, because others only rely on the hard wallet instead without learning the basic things they need to protect their crypto assets in their wallet, in the end, they will quickly get fooled by some tweets that are scams and fraud. If a person really knows what he is doing in terms of his security against any hacks, he can also use paper wallets if he is not capable of finding any source to get any hard wallet or the like of it. Therefore, it all depends on the person and all he needs to do is to equip himself with knowledge and invest some time to learn the preventive measures to avoid scammers and hackers.
Well, basically, if someone is using a hardware wallet, they don't need to be worried much about security that much if they haven't shared their wallet address or anything related to it with anyone or in a public place, one can barely find an address containing some Bitcoins if they don't know about it already so that makes it difficult for them to brute force.

But, if someone is using hardware storage only to save their private keys and are using an online wallet or a desktop wallet, then they will need to make sure that they are using the best encryptions to safeguard their wallets from attacks.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: May 09, 2023, 03:30:04 PM
Referral bonuses aren't really meant to give you a steady stream of income. It's called a bonus for a reason, because that is something you'll only get because the casino offers it. If you're someone who has a huge following and has command over a large group of people, your influence could easily make you some money. Then again, whatever income stream you'll get from this is highly dependent on your referrals. They might register under your link, but the choice of them actually depositing on that account is still entirely up to them. You can persuade them by introducing complementary deposit bonuses, but it will only appeal to those who are really into gambling and not the casuals.
That is the reason why I prefer not to touch at all the bonuses offered by casinos regarding referral bonuses, because that is not an easy task at all. Moreover, I am an ordinary person who doesn't have many followers on social media, and also offering it to our close friends is not a solution at all. Referral bonuses can be made by people who are trusted and have many followers, which we often refer to as influencers. For an influencer it might be easier compared to us.
You don't need to be an influecer to be able to get referrals unless you are too lazy since it obviously requires more work if you don't already have a large circle of people that you can refer to a specific platform to earn commission when they make deposits or maybe do some wagering, it is difficult but it is not impossible.

Finding and gaining active referrals is definitely a challenge and it is even a challenge for someone who has a lot of followers since most people who sign up under you will basically never use their account or just don't make any deposits.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 09, 2023, 01:49:14 PM
Like I said in my previous comment, the only way to make money consistently from gambling is to own the casino, if you are the owner of the casino, trust that you can even make over $5,000 in profit every day, depending on how popular the casino is and how many users play there daily.

Outside owning a casino, it is completely and absolutely not possible to consistent $20 profit every day from gambling, not to talk of $100, there is the possibility that one could even end up loosing $10,000 in the process of trying to win $100..
Yep, that's pretty much it and $10,000 is still not a huge amount, people lose even more when they become crazy after losing a little bit. Human nature is so strange at times, when one loses $100, they then spend $2,000 only trying to recover that $100, and during that process they don't even realize that it's costing them even more this way.

And that's not it, when one wins $100, greed hits their mind really hard, and they start thinking, "I can pretty easily turn this into $200.", and when they start playing again with that thing in mind, the rest remains history.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 09, 2023, 12:54:34 PM
Is anyone still playing today with this high fee? I think those gamblers that leave funds in the casino are very happy that they didn't need to experience this fee drama.
I am taking a break off gambling right now. Two days ago I tried to fund my casino account from my electrum wallet and the transaction fee wasn't funny at all. It was triple of what I was charged a month ago and it took almost forever to get confirmed. And even when it got to my casino wallet, I wasn't in the mood to play any game. My two options right now are one, to take a break or two, use the alternative options that is Ethereum or USDT. I may go for the later but I am not sure yet.
Having alternate coins or tokens become useful in these kinds of situations, because if you have only Bitcoins and the fees go this high all of a sudden, you will have no option but to postpone almost everything that might require money, just like gambling, if you have altcoins, you can probably continue your activities with them until things normalize.

Such times make us realize how crucial it is to diversify our portfolios since we can be in need of any other coin when we face problems with transaction fees or any other issues that might occur unexpectedly.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: May 09, 2023, 05:15:09 AM
For me marketing is the best way to increase your customer and profit as well. If you're a small business, you need to learn how to adapt on the latest trends and use it to market your product or service especially in social media. Social media can play a big factor to get recognized by possible customers. People nowadays love witty marketing strategy by using what's trending or funny ways of promoting your product. Also, a great design or layout can also help to attract people. Even bigger company spend a lot of effort on social media marketing because that's the fastest way to spread your business on a bigger audience.

After promoting and acquiring new customers, then that's when you have to work on maintaining those customers and make them loyal to you, either through experience or the quality of product you provide, or both. Once your customers enjoyed and we're satisfied with what you offer, you'll get free promotion because they will share it to their family and friends
We are living in a digital era, so social media marketing is obviously the most important aspect of a business. Digital ways of promoting your business along with traditional methods of advertising through billboards and banners will generate great results. Most businesses these days even focus on online selling their services and products.

Having more alternatives for providing your services and products to your customers gives you an edge over your competitors and puts your business way ahead in this modern era where businesses find it difficult to survive.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: May 08, 2023, 05:23:41 PM
What a surprising result from Fenerbahçe at one of the most important matches at league. They MUST have won this match to win title. At this point 1 point is gonna be enough for Galatasaray against Başakşehir. They will be lot more relaxed. Galatasaray other 3 leftover matches are all against weaker teams they will be able to win easily (in my opinion). If Beşiktaş was better they could win this season as Fenerbahçe doesn't seem motivated.. Its going to be very hard to bet for Fenerbahçe win from now on. If they can't beat Giresun how can they close points gap?
No doubt this was shocking performance from the Fenerbahçe, but things like these happening regularly in UEFA Leagues because soccer is game of surprises and shocks like we have in Bundesliga Dortmund held by Bochum which is in relegation zone but surely these results creating good changes at the top and good interesting end of this season as well because Besiktas performance is also having good change even they are having 2 more matches, but result like this surely bring end of this season interesting Galatasaray is also having lost of five points in last two games and now Fenerbahçe having lost of four points now their next match is against defending champions which are badly struggling and having eight spot Trabzonspor currently on worst performance can give good advantage to Fenerbahçe.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: May 08, 2023, 05:51:05 AM
Let's be honest: casinos have one goal – profit. They raise the stakes with lofty wagering prerequisites, a cunning trap for gamblers to lose more. Unfair? Absolutely. Sure, a few gamblers conquer the system, reaping sizable rewards. But they're scarce. For most, those burdensome requirements mean losing more than they can spare.

Pointing fingers at losers? A tactic to cover the system's flaws. Time for casinos to examine their ways and respect gamblers. The answer? Diminish wagering requirements? Enhance transparency? It's debatable. But something is crystal clear: change is essential.
Well, you got a point about how essential it is to change some of the rules that casinos have. This is exploitation for sure but gamblers have no option other than looking for an alternate platform where the requirements are lower and doesn't ask the gambler to lose everything in order to complete the requirements and be able to withdraw.

What would someone withdraw if they don't get to have anything at the end of the day? Casinos with such high requirements should be abandoned and then they might think of reducing the limits otherwise there won't be any change at all.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Month of May. Bitcoin price guess on: May 07, 2023, 03:50:10 PM
If you look at the movement of the last 30 days, I think in May it will be the same as before, the current price is around $ 29k, and in my opinion the highest price range will not be more than $ 30k, but this is a good motivation for us to continue to buy before the expensive price and We can't buy anymore.
Well, I somewhat agree with you about the price not going to go much above $30k this month. $30k has become the new resistance and as we've been watching, it has been having a hard time crossing that range pretty easily, and even if it does, it doesn't get to stay there for long and can't keep its value strongly so that it stays there.

I believe the price will go further down from this point, maybe around $25k or even a little bit below that, and it will take some time to recover from that range due to the increased selling pressure from panic sellers.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 06, 2023, 04:34:54 PM
When someone invests in Bitcoin, If he can increase his investment amount, his profit will also increase. But if this clause is planned to be implemented in gambling then have the possibility of losing assets completely. Increasing the bankroll in gambling does not necessarily increase the income. No one can earn $100 with $2000 and many can earn $100 with $50 or less. What is impossible here is that there is no continuity of victory or defeat.
That's a common misconception that a lot of people have where they think that maybe if they gamble with more money they can easily get more wins which is not true. If you are destined to win, you can win $1000 even with $50, but if you are unlucky and not destined to win at all, you will lose $1000 without even making $5 on top.

That is how gambling works, it depends on your luck and not your bankroll, and even if you manage to win one day, it doesn't mean that you can win the other day again, so don't make the mistake of thinking you can win bigger by starting to bet with bigger amounts.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 06, 2023, 08:42:49 AM
Their points gain is not much different especially for Milan, Roma and Atalanta because they have the same points.
In fact, in this match it is clear that I doubt Milan and Atalanta, especially for Milan with its focus on the Semi-finals and of course Lazio is not an easy opponent.
Atalanta also still have problems that are difficult to resolve at the moment so right now I might bet on Juventus and Lazio.
Inter Milan, Lazio and Juventus are probably the teams that will be favored in these 3 matches. although it could turn out to be the other way around. but maybe I would be more interested in betting on those 3 teams. but Ac Milan should have improved their line of attack which had weakened in several matches. because they have to prepare with a well-planned strategy before the semi-finals in UCL. but if it turns out that Ac Milan really lost to Lazio. then Inter Milan will clearly be favored in the UCL.
Situation is very interested in round 34 as we have all teams facing each other and nothing is clear who is going to stay at top four with Napoli is already champions and all three spots are available with most chances Lazio can go through with advantage because they have no other commitments Juventus is preparing for the UEFA Europa Cup semifinal and Inter is also involved in semifinal of Champions League against Milan which is surely their priority, but their recent form is impressive which can give them good advantage against AS Roma which is having trouble and now out of the top six spot their home form is also not as par required so with most chances AS Roma will handle this all but any result prediction is not easy and next four rounds are going to be more entertaining for the final spots of league table in this season.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream crypto adoption on: May 06, 2023, 05:53:45 AM
In my opinion, eco-friendly cryptocurrency is just a marketing word (trick). based on a study, currently, bitcoin mining (the majority) has used sources that are more environmentally friendly,

so if the government claims that the cryptocurrency they create is more environmentally friendly, isn't that just a trick of diversion? other than that people who use cryptocurrency are those who want to be free from government restraint, so using cryptocurrency that the government issues is like "coming out of the lion's cave but entering the crocodile cave"
Government-created cryptocurrencies or CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) are nothing more than an excuse and a fight against the spread of cryptocurrencies in the world. Banks and other central authorities find cryptocurrencies to be a threat to their existence since they provide almost everything for free which they provide for a price.

People are slowly moving towards cryptocurrencies and starting to abandon traditional financial systems and that is the reason why they have come up with the idea of creating their own digital currencies so that citizens start using those and leave cryptocurrencies.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin market is back on track on: May 05, 2023, 06:50:29 PM
Quote
Bitcoin touched its all-time high of $31K which is the 2023 market high. When the market reached $31K we had an idea that the Bitcoin market would soon reach $100K.
Market reaching $100k is not an easy thing and I will advise that we should not think much about it. During the last mega bull run that happened, $100k which was the target failed. It will be very difficult for the marker to drag such a FOMO that will pull it to $100k. Our best expectation is something close to or slightly more than ATH.
Why shouldn't it be an easy thing? I feel like that is as easy as it gets. Bitcoin reaching 100k may not happen today or tomorrow, but it is not a hard thing neither, it is something that will surely happen. I personally believe that the best thing about bitcoin is that the price goes up eventually at all times, there is nothing to worry about.

Obviously speaking we are going to end up with some situations where the price will not be doing that well, but that doesn't matter because when the price doesn't well, all you have to do is wait for it to get back to being good again and it will be awesome. I personally believe that it should not be an issue, 100k is simple and all you have to do is wait, I bet that it will get to 100k one day, not today but eventually one day.
No, it is not as easy as it sounds when we are speaking about it. The market doesn't always move the way we think about it or we want it to, it often changes its direction based on events and sentiments of the buyers and sellers combined. Right now, the price is in correction mode and a bit stable too, so the chances are more that we will see a drop from here.

If you talk about the price value of Bitcoin eventually, we all know that it has got the potential to cross that mark some day in the future, but there is basically no guarantee as to when that is going to happen.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 05, 2023, 04:04:41 AM
~~~
yes, Juventus has a bigger chance of qualifying for the final. but they have to learn from MU defeat. they are also very optimistic to beat Sevilla. but they were crushed by Seville.
Juve cannot underestimate Sevilla, it could be a match that is quite difficult for Juventus to win. although I also believe Juve will qualify, maybe it won't be easy. they will require more effort.
I wouldn't put Juventus as the favorites to make it to the final, but they have a chance. While I thought Sevilla could beat Juventus to secure a place in the final, I didn't expect Sevilla to feel too proud after beating Manchester United. Sevilla has character in the Europa League, it's like Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Sevilla vs Roma, those are the two teams that I predict will be in the Europa League final this season. Of course those are just my predictions and hopes, so I think anyone can disagree with my predictions as long as they have a make sense reason.
I also have same feeling about Juventus because recently they are having not good performance in Serie A and Sevilla is surely not easy opponent in UEFA Europa Cup specially after beating Manchester United badly at home things looking favourable for them history is now also favouring them for having spot in final but still we can expect any result because Juventus is trying to rebuild themselves which can create problems for the Sevilla.
Even mostly are feeling we will have final between Sevilla vs Roma but as we have all teams here we also can go with Juventus vs Leverkusen because Leverkusen performance is impressive and their win against Bayern Munich surely give them good confidence for the win here and go through for the Champions League as well Alonso is surely showing great character as coach his hard work can give them good results.
