The problem here is that someone will exploit the airdrop every singel time. Its not unfair, it is not broken, it is simple unavoidable. And the way it has always been at bitcointalk.
It has happened with most major coins. Dash had 500.000 coins instamined in the first hour alone, worth more then $150 million now. How many NEM shares ended up in the same hands? Just recently the DeepOnion airdrop had massive problem with multi accounters and tightned the rules as a result, but only after massive exploitation.
If you want a totally fair project where no one had any unfair advantage, buy litecoin. The people loosing out on dash were those to focued on the fact that is was unfair, like myself.

Can the price be changed in the future? I'm putting it out there as Bitcoin transactions are now very expensive due to the price of the coin. If ( when  ) DO sees a high price, 1 onion may be seen as expensive for the DeepVault feature. This I agree with. I was expecting the cost registration in decimals. 0.001? Once DeepOnion and DeepVault goes mainstream, it may come that millions of file info will be registered in the DeepVault. And there will be only 25MM DO coins in existence. The best option for pricing might be to peg it to fiat currency. For example a fixed price of 1 dollar. That way the amount of onion you pay varies, but on the same time, the service will never become to cheap or to expensive. |

Yes, you have to wait another 15 days. Hopefully someone will start to develop something for bottlecaps. A few sites back the former developer Tranz said that he would probably apply the same upgrades to bottlecaps that he are developing for hobonickels now. thank you, now i just open my wallet every day once a day to sync with the network then close until 15 days. Then i open it for how long it take to stake bottlecaps. i make 10.000 bottlecaps amounts so i try earn more stakes like people say in here. It should stake the same day. How long it takes depends on how many other wallets have big coin piles and are open. Might be 5 minutes or much longer. Depends on luck. ok woody now i understand so if i want to stake fast i just need more bottlecaps. i want buy more now because price come down more, if price go under 20 sats i buy a lot more to increase my chance to stake more faster and earn more bottlecaps, thank you woody for all the help. Since the bottlecaps wallet requires a lot of resources it is probably best for most people to stake in a limited period of time. My strategy is to stake only once every 15-17 days. If you want to do this the inputs should be large, but not to large to avoid the 1000 coin cap. I get rewards from 500-800 coins this way. |

Why do you think that Altcoins will boom again after the BTC Fork? Mass adoption! The only thing holding altcoins back right now is because everybody wants bitcoin to get the extra hardfork coin. Once that's over, investors will pour back in to the altcoin market. Or maybe people are hedging with alt coins now, ready to jump back into bitcoin after the fear of the fork goes away. People don't need to go through bitcoin anymore. Bitstamp, Coinbase, Kraken and all the major bitcoin exchanges have fiat - alt trading pairs already. |

You are hugely overestimating how much bitcore will be redeemed by bitcoin holders in your models. And the redeeming will not be linear.
My vote goes to devs distribution plan. I think that plan is very well balanced.
Clearly it wont be linear but I have no way of predicting how many will claim their coins so I kept on the current pace. It has been almost 6 months and we haven't even had 500k BTX claimed yet so I don't think it is going to pick up really fast anytime soon. I also haven't seen any real increase in the pace of claiming as of now so I just stayed with the average. In my opinion, BTC holders will claim only if the price of BTX rises and it is worthwhile for them to claim. I also think that by in large many of the people who do claim will simply dump the coins which is very similar to what happened when Bitcoin Cash came out. Maybe you failed to consider the 0.4 ratio. You're about 250% higher than the average when considering that. For your numbers to become real bitcore would need a much higher price and more exposure. Those would probably both occur. This is not meant as critisism, you are undoubtingly doing a good job here. I just felt that those numbers should have been better estimated. |

Looks like a scam to me. Care to explain why you think this is a promising sign?? Would someone invest 10 bitcoin in a really old coin without any involvement or future plans? The same person/group also put up a 10 btc buy wall at 3k satoshi which is still there. There have barely been any activity in the ann thread here. No one have been pumping the coin. I don't know about any development, I just think it is strange that someone would invest that much without a reason. |

thank for share This is a good airdrop as I think. people should join it too. only 1 week for 1st airdrop Unfortunately I never got to do this airdrop because I think too many people are cheating there. I noticed that many accounts that collected in that first airdrop were Newbie ranked accounts so I suspect many made multiple accounts who were very greedy to take advantage because suddenly in a few hours the airdrop has closed, which is very mind boggling to me. I am an Asian myself and unfortunately I have to say, too many people from my end of the world really like to take advantage and rig the systems in place. I feel a shamed to say this but it it the truth. I hope they change the airdrop system for round 2 because I bet those who did multiple accounts in round 1 are busy creating another 10 accounts each in order to cheat the system again. I agree. Cheating here is rampant. Especially when it comes to free airdrops that will only require so simple data. Airdrops are really very easy way to earn tokens. I also missed the Spectre airdrop. The schedule was supposed to be running 1 week but it is sad that out of 1000 limit, it was reached almost instantly. I really don't think they have any other option then to cancel the first airdrop and find a new solution. The bitcointalk id is available for everyone, so this was either very stupid or the devs plan from the start. In either case, the project is dead if they don't change it. |

I think 100x coins are not possible anymore. Too many coins the market. Money is spread so thin that it cannot support support the rise of all of them. I think even bitcoin will have troubles after 10000$.
There will be many coins that will go up 100x in the coming years. In the past most peiople considered it extremy unlikely that bitcoin would ever be worth $1, $100 or $1000. Bitcoin could easily be worth > $100.000 in a few years. Its just as likely (unlikely) today as it was to ever reach $1 a few years ago. |

It doesn't make much sense at me at all to those who are accepted in the air drop and then decide to dump their coins. The only thing I can think of is if they know they are going to be unable to meet the posting requirements in the weeks to come. Even then, I would imagine they would just want to hold and stake.
Some people have farmed accounts and they are dumping quick before they get found out. Others might be in need of the extra cash right now so they can't hodl it - those of us who can hodl of course certainly should! And there is also a lot of coins getting mined. 2880 coins daily. Thats 20160 each week, and more then 1 million extra coins during the first year. According to the coin specifictations the mining rewards will be halved every year. |
