261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Bloody Hard to Buy Crypto? on: January 10, 2019, 07:43:04 AM
Probably there are so many things that is left unsolved or perhaps some adjustments are yet to be made. We know that the cryptocurrency have gotten into a year of unfavorable market. Perhaps it is the reason why it seems as if it seems it is not really been so well known or maybe something just because the government had so much to adjust about cryptocurrency.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a better store of value than gold on: January 06, 2019, 04:40:32 PM
:This is really a hot topic to be debated. Paying attention to some issues with bitcoin and gold may help in deciding which is better: For bitcoin, we have experienced volatility that drive some people away just like what have happened during a not so good market condition for cryptocurrency, the probability of getting hacked and any security issues, and the possibility of getting tracked and taxed or be questioned by the government if you have a lot of stored bitcon as can be seen in your bitcoin address. There are countries that are really monitoring the movements of money even in the form of cryptocurrency. For gold, the possibility of getting stolen is big if not placed on banks and we all know based from posts that many hated banks. These are big issues that needs great attention. Maybe there are some other disadvantages you can share but as of now these are things worth considering in my opinion. So if we have to choose which is better between the two, I think this ideas should be weighed before deciding which of these two should we store our money.

263  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: January 06, 2019, 11:11:34 AM
The world is changing and of course entrepreneurs are innovative and bitcoin is just one of the few things they might just use in order to succeed. If you can't use change as an advantage then you will be too late to realize that you have been outdated. You will be lost in the transition. So to make yourself or your business relevant then accept change. It would be the best thing you can do.

264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: January 06, 2019, 10:38:13 AM
Actually there is no need to really argue about which coin is better. It's about usage that serves as a measure for one to consider which coin to use. For example in an ICO project that is an altcoin based on ethereum platform, you cannot just directly convert your coin to bitcoin if you would do so, so that we need to use ethereum first. So the possibility of usage falls on ethereum before bitcoin. But on the other hand if payment systems require you to pay in bitcoin then there is no need for you to convert to an altcoin before doing the payments. What I am trying to emphasize now is that you pay and use coin where it is required. The need to compare is not a necessity. Just go on using any because certainly we all need this coins depending upon which purpose it should serve us.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: January 05, 2019, 08:34:16 AM
Yes it is possible but not always. The way the cryptocurrency behaves is more like the actual market. It is volatile and anything could go wrong at any given time. But the possibilities sometimes are well predicted by those who did as much research as they could. We may often refer to them as "professionals" in the field of predicting cryptocurrency behavior. They are the market analyst who have had so much experience and if you really want to know more then better consult this kinds of people.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: January 05, 2019, 07:36:22 AM
It is possible that if somebody is really manipulating the market, that individual could have earn as much but we have no basis for such claim yet only rumors about big whales trying to manipulate the cryptocurrency. While this might be possible yet I think it will not give them as much profit due to the fact that people might just sell their coins when prices should go up after the whales would purchase a large volume of coin all at once.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin and crypto currency ALWAYS getting hacked?? on: January 05, 2019, 06:27:19 AM
Money is always a good target for people who want it badly. Since you don't have to forcefully or physically get into somebody else's house, so they turned into hacking using the internet which is for them the safest way of getting money from others. Which is not good and really needs to be stopped. It is not only that they are focused on cryptocurrency, almost everything for as long as it is related to money, hackers would always find ways to get into it no matter what. This is the reality and we need to be always alert on things we often do especially if involves internet connectivity.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make America bankrupt? on: January 04, 2019, 02:19:00 AM

I am waiting for the country to go bankrupt, but I dunno how long it will take. What do you think is the best way to speed it up?
I believe many expert will use debt as a gauge to measure the apocalypse.
I think everyone taking a loan will contribute to the debt, but it doesn't make the country bankrupt, it's the people who take the loan will go bankrupt first. I don't think it is the best way to do, so what else can we do?

What would anyone like you wanted the downfall of America. Remember that a nation stands not only as a person you know but individual people that had so many stories to tell and many sacrifices as well. I am Asian and never had any connection with the Americans but I don't even want their demise because we are all humans and just the same we all feel the same thing.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Scammer Can affect the ETH price. on: January 03, 2019, 01:17:31 PM
Yes I am thinking the same. When people use the technology just to scam people, it is giving just fear to a would be investor and because there would be victims, they would certainly feel that it is not worth investing to go with coins that are a nest to the scammers. Instead of the good side of the technology that should be seen by the people, only the negative things are seen which could cause a FUD. So I believe they should be stopped, traced and jailed because they are doing any good to any coin or project and they are affecting price values.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: January 03, 2019, 10:08:51 AM
I think that wouldn't be the case and I agree with you that a country might not be able to live without taxes imposed. Supposing that would happen, a possibility of taxes imposed on each bitcoin transactions can be possible. In our country we have exchanges that supports bitcoin and it is a legal business where I think paying taxes to the government is done not in a direct way like if done per bitcoin transaction but are taken annually or monthly based on gains or income.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: January 02, 2019, 04:21:42 AM
A coin maybe most stable when there are no or almost completely no usage at all. The prices will stick to the bottom for which I think those percentage might have shown though not totally. But bitcoin is a coin that is used by many, so I think those changes we see are the result of people trading their coins. The stability of prices on XRP could be due to the number of coins they released each month. I think it keeps the price stable relative to its volume.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Countries Government trying to stop bitcoin, what reason ....... on: January 02, 2019, 03:13:20 AM
There is always those fears of losing economically. I heard too many times when a government officials go out of our country for a vacation, critics would be there saying he or she is just wasting the governments money. By simply analyzing this little instance of expenditure I would say that with bitcoin you can do just the same. You may not be moving out, but you can buy things online using bitcoin or transfer mo ey using bitcoin so that it means you can use your available money to spend for something which is out of your country and this if done by volume can be a loss to your economy. But on the other side, you can gain as well if too many comes in and less money goes out using bitcoin. Other reasons include the use of bitcoin for criminal activities which I don't have first hand data though it is just what I heard about. Whether whatever reasons there is, bitcoin still wonderful and should not be blamed for any misuse. Its the people who use it that makes it bad or good.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: January 01, 2019, 01:04:15 PM
In this case we might have to consider a few things. First and the most important would be the idea about the volume of users using cryptocurrency. This changes a lot of perception as real usage create real flow of coins. The artificial flow created by holding coins causes a lot of volatility. Second would be the products or shops and stores where cryptocurrency are used. This two important things must be the first consideration even before any updates. So for me it is possible but it would even be more possible if the two things are met considerably even before the updates. I am hoping though positively on the updates soon.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there still future for digital currency? on: January 01, 2019, 09:32:53 AM
Do not ever worry about the future of cryptocurrency. You know how useful it can be and it is possible that it will return back to its usual price if people will use it daily as if a digital coin or as a payment system. What we should be waiting for now is the mass adoption of the coin so that people can use it anywhere in the world.

275  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run on: January 01, 2019, 08:50:30 AM
An increase in usage could bring about change in the perspective of using cryptocurrency and it is possible that once people will be using it a bull run will never be impossible. For now we are awaiting the mass adoption of cryptocurrency so that it everything will just flow and follow as easy.

276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: January 01, 2019, 08:04:11 AM
Legality might be a big decision to make for now but if the use of cryptocurrency will be permitted on most area on this region then it is possible that change will come handy. Legality will no longer be a great issue. For now we have yet to see how cryptocurrency is really working and is applied to the daily lives of the people. It is really possible and not so far from now in my opinion.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: December 31, 2018, 06:34:03 PM
Yes it is almost true as many ICOs are really just scams. I wondered why and how they have been able to attract investors. Those scammers should have have been stopped. ICOs should pass something like a business permit to track real owners so that when something happens they will the ones to be put to jail as soon as possible. In this way nobody wants to scam ICO projects.

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: December 31, 2018, 01:08:03 PM
If you would look at the graphs made since the beginning of ethereum you would see that it was getting high more like bitcoin and it continually goes up until it goes down slowly during this year. I think it has reach the point where too many are holding coins waiting for prices to go up and with no one coming in and there is less usage, many had also decided to sell their coins. This could be what seems to have happen in my opinion.

279  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole market is going down. Any particular reason for that? on: December 31, 2018, 12:01:17 PM
Probably the reason why bitcoin prices did drop could be due to some big investors who are selling their coins which then affects the price of the coins and the other investors are as well doing the same which creates a chain reaction and results in a low usage volume and low price. I also heard that bots are also blamed for the low price because it is automated to sell the coins when a level is reached. I am not certain about this idea about bots but I just heard about it. The recovery may take sometime but it cannot be predicted as easily.

280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Phillipines adopting BITCOIN on: December 31, 2018, 11:29:00 AM
Wow this is very nice to see how even the Philippines have succeeded in using bitcoin as a digital currency to pay for goods. I was just curios though as to how people in the Philipines have adopted the use of bitcoin. Is the use of bitcoin now for selected products and stores only or almost on any store and products?
