Looking like the fork ain't happening today...
Sadly, I think I mis-calculated the block number for the fork. At the time of this post, still 814 blocks left till the fork hits. That is completely my fault. My calculation was 144 blocks per dip, and 1.2 dips per day, and there were 7 days from the time we selected the block. I think I probably should have used 72 blocks per dip for my calculation instead. The way I came up with 144 blocks, is there is 4 quarters per a full cycle of this current algo, and 36 blocks per quarter. I should have used 36 per half of cycle, I'm assuming. The block will come around, just a bit later than anticipated  Blak Thank you so much for your concise explanation. We need some angel hashers to get us to the fork faster! Where are you guys? Lots of BTC to be made on this fork!! |

The amount of scam IPO, 100% premine and shitcoins has become out of control. The time has come for to take action and am calling on some of the original old schoolers and timers to come back and end this bullshit that has done nothing good for this community. So from today, Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up begins. Classing the shitcoins. Quite frankly that decision is up to the current team and any members that want to join. thanks for the info, clear enough. I have to agree 2000$ a 3000$ for implanting a coin is crazy. that's a bad third party. implanting the coin in the sathosi poker room since the bitcoin is already in there system so adding a new coin wont be that much trouble. but I guess that 3th party want some free cash for almost no work  I can implant it for some poker coins . but I guess the payment system is in control of sathoshi pokerroom 3th party that host the poker rooms? The software, games and backend for account control are 3rd party (enterra poker), but we have our custom built backend thru API for handling all financial transactions from deposits till bonusses. I never asked for $3k though... I did not accused you that you did, my only statement was this is getting clearer as you can see . first of all I don't know where you guys where talking about and a story has always 2 sides. that being said. back to the payment system. ya as I said before your screwed by the 3th party they hold the key and software. the api`s you get are probable from enterra to. so you cant do shit. unless you tweak the system and only rent the gaming software from enterra and implant a payment system your self. but I guess that wont happen since enterra wont make a dime then. al whit all you must ask enterra everything and pay them that's logic of course. $3000 for a coin implementation is not unreasonable to a custom built software. I have a holding in catcoin and i really think catcoin has massive potential to become a well known crypto currency not just for making donations to charities which is great but a currency that can be used to buy things.
I am going to be start some development and promotion for catcoin and i really want to see catcoin shine as i believe catcoin can be on par with dogecoin in terms of media attention and development.
Catcoin is currently well undervalued and having only a total of 21,000,000 coins and less than 1,300,000 mined and in circulation the price is very low.
I will be adding to my catcoin holding when i can and im ready to help take catcoin forward.
I will start with saying that the development team have done a great job to get catcoin back again and we should all realise like the Dev team at what great potential we have staring right at us.
All promotion ideas are welcomed and i will keep all updated with what i am working on.

Personally I would still make a classification between contestants, not based on ranking but based on effort!
In my case I spent over 150 hours of designing work to deliver everything you requested. Many did not, which is fine. That's also why I provided several suggestions and tried to convince everyone to make voting fair for over two months now. I was attacked for this from the beginning by participants who were not aware of the 'requirements' you defined.
There are many to blame, but it's just not worth it.
Everyone wants their back scratched in this thread. The fact of the matter is that you along with a half a dozen or so individuals CHEATED. We're now having to go back and redo everything because of the unjust and immoral actions of a few. The best you can do is step aside, and be glad you're getting anything at all..... |

EDIT ADDITION: Since this was a competition, I don't see the point of awarding any of the contestants who received 0 votes or 1 vote (1 vote is always for one's own entry). So, I'd say that your decision is generous very generous to the contestants, and should therefore be appreciated. Furthermore, I don't see the point of awarding the top 4 "winners", who, to my mind, obviously cheated. The rest is agreeable to me. So, i's a Yay.
I would argue that the users who didn't receive any votes were defrauded the opportunity for a fair contest by the group of "winners", therefore they deserve a piece of the pie too... |
