261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 10, 2019, 10:29:06 PM
You are already in cryptocurrency and you should not regret it.
YES, the course is unstable. Sometimes there are mistakes, but do not look back. You will not change anything. It is better to assume that you made the right decision, even if you got a loss.
We need to move only forward, what do you think?

When there is no point or benefit in looking back
All you need to do is be focused and look forward
Improve your decision making skill and upgrade your research methodology so that you can get the best decisions and informations always
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO's are not cryptocurrency's on: March 09, 2019, 01:49:11 PM
a STO has to go through regulations exactly as a IPO does, a STO has to be traded on a ATS or through a broker thus not being allowed to freely transact in a currency like manner thus not making it a cryptocurrency.

Which is why stos are not existent anywhere and have low volume of projects participating in it
Most project prefer an ieo and also an ico

But worthless, I’m more worried about the profit
Someone else might prefer the security
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: March 08, 2019, 09:48:26 PM
like that just as it happens. therefore, we only focus on coin investments that already have the highest market cap, for example bitcoin or etherum.

Overtime I have discovered that relying on investments on the highest cap tokens like etherum and bitcoin is very volatile and highly risky; it leaves you in massive loss than profits if you are not careful

We need profits that only altcoins can provide unless you have a lot of capital for bitcoin or etherum investment
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: March 08, 2019, 09:40:17 PM
I think you are right to some extent, the sudden pumps in price of tokens lately and the immense dump is not coincidental
But an action by the bigger whales

Holders need to sit tight and find the ways to maintain their profit margin and loss margin
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Post-ICO Bounty? on: March 07, 2019, 08:59:37 PM
Post ico bounties are basically to create a unique awareness about the project
Especially when the community is little and only few can benefit from the product

It always promotes the project and most times it leaves the token in a bad price after hunters dumping
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XYO Price Prediction 2019 - XYO Price May Touch $0.004808 on: March 07, 2019, 08:51:21 PM
To begin with; it seems the price prediction belongs to the speculation discussion
And for xyo; no reason to be worried because all tokens are bearish and reaching towards stability
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL THE SMART CONTRACTS OF STRATIS BETTER THAN ETHEREUM? on: March 07, 2019, 08:45:55 PM
Stratis development is slow and facing difficulties
But other than that; there’s no platform that is up to standard with etherum Blockchain

Until stratis proves it’s worth; etherum remains king of smart contracts
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: March 06, 2019, 10:38:16 PM
It seems you went on vacation after the massive bull run of 2017
Well; not much has changed

1. Bitcoin remains the best and there are 0.1% bounty that pays in bitcoin
2. Altcoins emerged as a quick rich form of investment; there are several pump and dump tokens
3. Regarding merits, the forum placed a new rule, newbie now needs 1 merit to get to junior member so as to improve the quality of discussions on the forum and so far it has worked I believe
4. If you go through the thread, you will realize that there are several Blockchain platforms under etherum, stellar, Blockchains and a lot of scam tokens too
5: I can say airdrop programs are technically dead because they bring no reward whatsoever (rewards are in 0.1$ - 1$)

In a nutshell, be careful now; frauds are everywhere, remember the simple rules in keeping your private key to your self
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 06, 2019, 10:31:20 PM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.

Lol it is normal; but it is not only etherum, because bitcoin picked up too
I wouldn’t say it is because of the completed fork; there have been other developments
So be smart and quick with your trades because it gets bearish again
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: March 04, 2019, 08:35:45 AM
I think curiosity is also needed to become a bounty hunter. with that it would makes us easier to find more information and in this case a valid information about that project to avoid on getting a fake bounty program.
I believe as a bounty hunter you cannot be so curious to join a project
You need to be relaxed so that you can get all information as regards the token and the bounty program as a wwhole

You can’t just join bounties and risk not getting paid
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for team members to join new project (I am core dev) on: March 04, 2019, 08:33:51 AM
You need to move your thread to the service section atleast you find enough of people there

You can also try social media adverts for the open position
And so you have less to worry about
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (some of) Ripple/XRP facts on: March 04, 2019, 08:29:38 AM
So, I only recently joined and, what do you know xD, the situation regarding Ripple/XRP (although other things too) is same as other places.
Meaning, so many generic posts, based on nothing but personal oppinion, that is yet again based on....what a surprise....nothing xD

I finally found a good place with several debunked statements like "It's not a real cryptocurrency", "Ripple can flood the market", "Ripple can create more coins", or "Ripple can freeze coins", etc.

https://fudbingo.com/

It's a rather short read for each of the false statements and if you're serious about researching, not just FUDing or shilling, you will want to read it.
Being for or against a coin without really knowing much about it is....silly, to put it very mildly.
(If I did that, I would call myself an idiot, but that's just me xD)

This is a nice, recent, article which shows lots of stuff that happened during Q4 2018 (this is a bit longer read), which can give you a clue of some of the progress.

https://xrpcommunity.blog/q4-2018-xrp-adoption-report-actions-speak-louder-than-words/

Ofc, the whole site is a nice read,  though I will admit I still have a LOT to read xD

If this topic remains (I can't see why it would be removed) and you still talk utter nonsense, just remember: You are.....silly Wink

(No, I'm not affiliated with them and yes, I'm hodling a minor amount of XRP for almost 2 years)

Facts does not stop fud on ripple neither does it make the price better
It is true that bitcoin and etherum are very very bearish; but it is also true that ripple is not a good and proper investment token

Xin token has gone from 80-150$ increase in 2019

Ripple struggles to reach 0.5$; and you call ripple an investment ??
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give up yet on: March 03, 2019, 10:06:54 PM
The cryptocurrency space has been discouraging for a while now and there's a possibility for people to want to walk away from the industry. Some persons made substantial investment in purchasing altcoin whose value has greatly reduced and the thought of everything could make one want to loose hope. I'm of the opinion that making profits should not be our only goal in the industry but learning and contributing to its growth should be our focus. There's always light at the end of the tunnel and we would get there very soon. Let's be patient for a little more while, no matter how long the night lasts, the morning will surely come. Don't give up yet.

It is true that there is always hope and we cannot give up on hodling on tokens
But do you have any reasons why one cannot give up ?

Grin used to be above 50$ last year and is now 3$, and you expect people to hope ?

Just bank on  your decisions and be calm too
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: March 03, 2019, 10:04:40 PM
I heard that the wallet MEW may not be used anymore, this information is true. So if the wallet MEW for some reason can not be used then can we use any other wallet?

Well, MyEtherWallet is very functional and there is a even new upgrade with better interfaces that are good for users especially

Just ensure you keep your accounts safe and do not compromise your details
MyEtherWallet is the best erc20 wallet to me
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Update on Cryptopia Attack on: March 03, 2019, 09:59:35 PM
The New Zealand exchange was hacked recently, but the lack of updates and slow response have harmed Cryptopia greatly.

https://cryptomenow.com/there-might-still-be-well-over-2000-crypto-wallets-at-risk-after-the-cryptopia-attack/

The cryptopia hacked only referenced warnings preached to every crupto currency owner
Don’t take the risk of leaving your funds on the exchange platform for days

Take out your funds, especially bitcoin etherum or stable assets bought
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ImToken password forgotten on: March 02, 2019, 06:45:50 PM
My mistake.

I just realized I forgot my ImToken password (I need the password to withdraw and access the mnemonics). I know it's (99.9%) impossible to retrieve but if anyone has any solutions I am all for it.

On the good side it's very little locked tokens.

You don’t need to panic; all you have to do is find your private key or pass phrase
Then you delete your imtoken app

Download it again and install basic necessary apps; then you can set new passwords and use your wallet again

Alternatives is too use MyEtherWallet or metamask
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ethereum wallet mobile? on: March 02, 2019, 06:26:27 PM
Hello community I want to use bitrefill to pay a service that is too cheap, so I want to know which is the best ethereum mobile wallet to send my payment to this platform.

Note: I have an Android device I would prefer an app for android that includes only fees by GWEI, I would be too grateful for knowing your opinion.

What ethereum mobile wallet do you use?

Imtoken 2.0 is the best etherum wallet you can find any where
It has eos and bitcoin support and it makes it easy and soft for you

So just ensure  to always protect your private key
Don’t get compromised
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A stable token on: March 02, 2019, 04:16:50 PM
When it comes to your portfolio
You cannot always keep your tokens in stable coin during the dip or bear market

You need to make profit
And holding during the bear market is the only way to make profit

After profit has been made
You can make your bitcoin or etherum into a stable coin in usdt
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem Added to Huobi, Price Shoots Up! on: March 01, 2019, 05:30:46 PM
So, Steem recently got added to the Huobi exchange and the effects of that are reflected in the current price.
I'm personally very pleased with this, since I'm now earning about 20% more on my posts.

https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steem-now-on-huobi-exchange

I'm just hoping the price keeps increasing to $1 again.

It’s normal for prices of altcoins to pump up when they list on high volume exchanges and I think that’s what happened to steem as wel

The steemit platform is growing well and there are positive developments too
Ensure to get your profit  while you can
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if ethereum had a maximum coin supply set from the beginning? on: March 01, 2019, 10:30:27 AM
I think not knowing the maximum supply is not a problem
Just that emphasis where laid on that point inconsequentially

Mining is good but doesn’t earn big in a short while
While trading can be very risking too

The supply does not stock up in a single wallet for a whole time
