Thank you for that, I will add it in the OP shortly I'm filling in some more info on this spreadsheet. Is Barry Zand the real name of the creator of Growcoin? I want to put accurate information on who the coin creator is and if this person utilized an altcoin consultant for the creation of Growcoin protocol, or if the Growcoin creator and protocol developer are same person. I have the real names for the other coin creators.
Thanks in advance.
Please send me a PM with some more information As you guys might have noticed I have been "away" for a bit. I had some personal things to deal with. I will be fulltime on Grow again starting tomorrow Hi barryzand, The spreadsheet is now open to everyone, I refer to you simply as BCT user: barryzand (anonymous developer) and anyone can update it with more info and release it how they wish Keep up the good work... And more thing... Coin-Swap.Net is a great exchange... I particularly love the wallet/network status page with health for all the coins

Is Ricky Esneault the creator of HempCoin or just a miner? I am working on a side-by-side comparison of some cannabis-themed cryptocurrencies and am trying to locate the name of original HempCoin developer/creator to provide as much complete information as possible.

Phil stopped by my place today for some Cannacoin gift-exchange, he demo'd the Yubikey OTP for Cannacoin 2FA wallet to be implemented... Then we jumped on TokeTalk.net for a nice toke session... and I sent him away with a massive tray of some delicious homemade CannaFudge Thanks for the amazing stainless steel cannabis leafs!!! These are stained and polished... they are beautiful works of art... these are what are available on the Cannacoin store.... I can't wait to show these around to some shops.

Been watching Growcoin from a distance and I like what you guys are doing. Seems like you appropriated the ICO funds towards the website and towards development... giving Growcoin-holders a nice boost of confidence.
I'm working on a spreadsheet with side-by-side comparison of cannabis cryptocurrencies... it will include lots of details for investors old and new... right now it's Cannacoin(CCN), CannabisCoin(CANN), Potcoin(POT), HempCoin(THC), MaryJaneCoin(MARYJ), and Growcoin(GROW)
If you guys are interested I can share it here when I'm finished

As a crypto miner, coder/hacker, investor, writer, etc., I applaud all the work you guys are doing. Keep up the great work! I love the speed and enthusiasm that you guys have. It's awesome. Here's to much success in 2015!
I agree. Thanks to Josh, Phil, Hybridsole, Razerglass, GjayjayG, Fred, and all of the great folks on IRC that contribute to make this such a great community and such a fantastic cryptocurrency!!! This is not just the best weed coin, this is one of the best made and managed cryptocurrency protocols that exist. AWESOME! P.S. Cannacoin up to 5500 sats on Bittrex, Poloniex, and Coin-Swap

Actually this is a clear cut case of brand theft by Josh Garza which is why he reportedly lied on his trademark application. The odds of Garza stealing the PayCoin trademark from us is near zero. Lawyers don't matter when the law is clear, precedents have been set in stone and you have a clear case in your favor. We're gonna win this thing without the need of a lawyer. Tomorrow I will follow up with the trademark office to make sure they don't drop the ball.
Good luck. IMO you're too small to make it, but we shall see. That's not how the law works. Any prior use in same industry invalidates the trademark filing if opposition is filed. PYC was established since August 2013 and traded on a major cryptocurrency exchange, Cryptsy, for a long time, so I don't see how Gawminer's XPY could possibly defend the name... fix this shit before it gets worse for everyone If PYC was no longer being developed and no longer traded on a major exchange, I think there would be some legitimacy to XPY, there's gotta be a way to consolidate...

Unofficial Discussion could be added to thread title... as for XPY? I think it's just down-right fucked up they used Paycoin when a Paycoin has existed since like Aug of 2013

My wallet is encrypted and unlocked, however it's saying "not staking because you don't have mature coins". It was staking, before I encrypted the wallet, and then I had some coins come to me from the multipool mining. However, all the transactions now have at least 100 confirmations. Any thoughts as to why it's not staking?
You don't have any mature coins because they all got spent in a staked/generated transaction. When coins are generated/transacted they are spent, and when they are spent they have to gain new coin-age. So, your coin-age resets and you will not gain any coin-weight until those coins gain enough coin-age to be eligible for staking. Remember minimum coin-age is 8 hours to stake, and your coins stake in pools for each address you have in your wallet. So, if you divide your coins into many smaller wallets it spreads out the staked coins... As soon as you have enough coin-age, and coin-weight, you will stake again. Thanks. Interesting, but confusing, lol. Are you saying each time my wallets stake to the point where they are rewarded new coins (which the popup message while mousing over the staking pic/icon in the bottom right corner of the client was telling me would be every 7 minutes), there's an 8-hour period that follows where they will not stake? There's an 8 hour period after a transaction before coins have enough age to gain weight again. And everytime you have a staked transaction (generated) then one of your addresses in your wallet becomes unusable (depending on which one was part of that staked transaction). Now, if all of your addresses stake in a short amount of time, then you will have to wait until one of your addresses has coins that obtain 8 hours of coinage. So, if you have all your coins in only one address, you will stake once and have to wait 8 hours to stake again. However, if you have 10 addresses in your wallet with some coins in them, then you can stake 10 times before all the coin-age is used up... Either way you will average 2% annual compounded however you divide your coins up. This has more implications for network stability than anything else... more addresses and coins divided into them in theory could be better for the network.

Help!!! Coin now only POS no mining?
VirusIEP: You can mine on the multipools, http://bemining.net/ offers a nice array of mining ports for x11, scrypt, and sha256 with CCN payouts We also have a dedicated multipool at http://ccn.multipoolmining.com/ that also supports x11, scrypt, and sha256 thanks. i work this pool - ccn.binpool.com. but wallet on this and other pool not work Yes, Cannacoin developers have transitioned the network from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake Velocity since 2 days ago. If you have any coins on ccn.binpool.com, you'll need to contact the pool admin.
