Would it make you happy for an altcoin to have a 1% premine in the blockchain as a transaction in the genesis block whose outputs become spendable only at given block heights - such that the developer never controls more than 5% of outstanding coins at any time? For example, if mining 50-coin blocks, a 50-coin output of the premine tx becomes available to the developer only at block heights divisible by 40?
I think that is a great idea, but I am not sure if it will require fundamental changes to the Litecoin Scrypt source which is the basis for most of these Scrypt coins. I think we do need altcoins coming out on a daily basis to have a large playground to find the truly successful coins. I also think premine is needed but not more than two weeks worth. |

Hilarious part is .. 80% of that is not my money .. and some needs to be paid back. However, CASH coin is the best thing to mine for you, stable profit .. nothing spectacular .. but actually better than majority of difficulty scamming coins, which look better on Coinwarz. The good part is .. if I can have 25Mhs working for me and another 10Mhs to call upon + 18Mhs I inspired to build, which I will call a favour one day. That right there is a pool worth of hashing which will be used on CASH when time comes. And I am talking few weeks not months ... Bit of luck will command 50Mhs myself with another 50 on a favour call in 3-6 months. Backed by a company and a 5 man development/design team ... It really is not hard to explain why CASH is a superior coin technologically to .. well .. all I mined so far. Just need a showcase design, website, working Net Hashrate and updated wallet. Not sure what you are talking about. If you mine CASH with that rate and sell it on Cryptsy you can push the price down to ZERO in a DAY. It has very thin support and has been dropping like a premined coin. |

I dont think there are thousands of those 200MH/s guys out there, the POOLs just make up fake miners and pocket the income. Thats why you mine on the pool and make a TON less than coinwarz or the coin calculators tell you should based on your hashrate. |

I just wanted to warn you guys do not mine at the yourmine pool.
Why?
I have been mining there since the launch (had my miner setup to mine here some hours before launch, with other pool as fallback). At the moment I only have 4000 coins there. I just moved to the hashstrike pool, and tripled my coins in 1 hour.
Also I did not get any coins for the last few blocks. I did not get any payout after block #552, but mined there up till block #1200 or so.
And, auto payout does not work. Manual payout does not work either.
So, just forget about yourmine I would say.
Yes, looks like this is a scam pool. I have posted earlier same thing. It should be removed from pools list and get as many negative feedback as possible on bitcointalk. We are not a scam pool you can ask anyone that has mined any other coin with us, we have been 100% straight with no down time apart from mpos upgrades, think about how many others pools suffered and collapsed this morning. So please give us back our coins, if you're telling the truth. We have been cheated so far. First hours after launch are most important, and we decided to use your pool - in result we lost days of mining at current difficulty. You don't look like a begginer and coins are stored somewhere - fix it please. You guys DO KNOW that many pools take 30-50% of your coins and claim 1% or 0% fee right? I mean its so easy to catch them after a couple of hours. |

I hope the site comes back up on Monday. Well I mined a ton of MINT when it was trading over 34-40 and now even if it comes back online I probably get a lot less for them.
Anyway, if the site admin is watching coinmarket.io was my favorite site.

A message to mods about new coin posts. I see many coins are being posted with "only 1% premine" or similar wording. There is a big issue here that is not clarified.
What is equally (or even more) important is the "time" equal to that premine. Whats is that mean?
Ok so lets compared:
1) Coin 1. 1% Premine. Total coins X. Number of years to mine all coins 50 years.
2) Coin 2. 1% Premine. Total coins Y. Number of years to mine all coins 4 years.
Are these two coins the same?
NO
The first coin means the developer has over 50% of the coins for 182.50 days.
The second coin means the developer has over 50% of the coins for only 14.5 days.
So in case of the first coin the developers (and all those who they have bribed with the premined coins to like exchanges etc) have full control over the market for 12 times longer period of time than the first one!
This is particularly important because most coins have a life span of 2-3 months now before they completely become irrelevant.
So Mods, please enforce the Premine "TIME" in number of DAYS to be posted from now on on all [ANN] posts

Bitcoin 2.0
I am not a developer but this sounds like an ingenious idea! All you need is for the new coin to be called Bitcoin 2 instead of ZCoin. You recreate a new wallet based on Scrypt and price each one exactly 1 BTC let it roll into Cryptsy to trade. The LOG will be almost identical to BTC with a 2.0 on it. And trust me people will switch all their BTC to the UPGRADED BTC.
And after that you WILL get the entire ALTCOIN community to switch over because its now a Scrypt-Bitcoin. If you have more people mining this Bitcoin 2.0 vs the regular BTC then you are good to go. It may even be compatible with the BTC before block 219200.

sell orders are killing us lol. if anyone has sell orders on crypto rush from 0.00000005 - 0.00000010 remove them put it at 0.00000020 + and flap coin will go up
+1 Agreed. All the sell orders between 0.00000005 - 0.00000010 is too low for this coin. Of course you can do what ever you want. This is your money. But if you all, put yours to the deep prices it will not grow up. This must be easy to understand. Please check some dead coins.. They made the same thing as u.. Stay calm and wait for a while.. This coin is not a drop & pulb coin.. Excellent point +1 If everyone with sell order at 5 removed it, this coin could quickly jump to 6, there is a lot more buy at 4 than sell at 5. |
