It's so frustrating that such a potentially good coin is risking death by lack of any updates.
Hey, I do sleep! ;-) We release update last night.
There is, course, much to be done. It does not happen overnight. It take much effort for long term price development. And to realize vision for coin, which in our view is coin that:
- reach many more people beyond bitcointalk
- appeal to traders, hedge fund and traditional forex etc. who look to enter crypto market
- moderate currency supply for utility as real currency spendable for goods/services, particle falls in between extreme of coin like DOGE and coin like Unobtainum.
- enable ecosystem of apps/services/wallet extensions etc.
- follow footstep of valued coin like peercoin, etc. with much higher price support
On marketing and promo front. If there something you think is need, you can create! Is community effort. I work fast as I can, but I am one. There is enterprising person who create PRTCoin.com, to promote to China market, is very very nice, all effort by them.
Things we have in progress:
- (Rough dreft today 1/12) Update logo more like "coin" look
- (by 1/19) New website/landing page design to appeal to trader and introduce newbie to crypto, model after something like Goldline.com (and with no crazy english! ;-))
- (Render today 1/12) Reveal video for Particle (this is very sexy)
- Slide deck overview particle
- Slide deck intro 101 to crypto
- Slide deck what is mining and how mine
- Decks be made into video screencast
- Whitepaper PDF
Also new wallet. We are compromise for v1 of new wallet for faster time to market. For v1 we implement wallet on top of RPC talk to particled slave, to get full node take much more time to ensure correctness with endian etc. This path allow get to market in 1-2 weeks and people start think of plugins. Maybe we do limited password protect beta to some of you for feedback. Then it release pressure allow more time for long term development. Original target was end of Feb/start March. But this will be too long.
One thing I notice, is wide type of characters involve on forums - from older experience to younger ADD generate. Need more frequent update to keep top of mind and satisfy. Will try to accomodate.
It could be helpful to start make hit list of collateral, target sites for promote, audiences, video and slide deck topics, articles and content for content marketing.
Some things would like to see in future:
- Windows wallet installer put on download sites
- Article marketing consistently
- Trade desk type of site around particle, with exchange and market data, mining activity, etc.
- Sexy block explorer
- Press releases
- Add-on/plugin directory site
- Shopping portal aggregate data feed across anyone take PRT payment
I have forum setup at cryptodelia. I know some no like background, but I like I think is relaxing calming image I like to look at :-) But I will change. Idea is cryptodelia is back end developer/promo team hangout. New site is publicity facing / investor /customer support etc. Idea is general market don't care about techie stuff like bitcointalk techies :-)
I work 3 mo, 6 mo, and 1 year plan, long term, not 2 hour 4 hour 12 hour pump and dump plan
But, we can improve pace as community become organized naturally. Idea is decentralize, I am not JP Morgan selling financial product to individual. I just spark and ignite idea of better approach to market, and let materialize, like push child on bike, soon they pedal and ride. But I will be there to steady bike and raise the child.
I have use Fiverr many time in past but not so happy with result, except can get excellent voiceover there. Have better luck with template from graphicriver and tweak. Banner I post last night was from scratch and was just concept. But I think want to model after more traditional precious metals investment, forex, etc. Will gather idea from existing old world site, to adapt and then find high end template. Has always been best way for me when market niche sites on internet.
So we are here always. Work very very very hard behind scenes. But, sometimes we sleep and also job :-)
