261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 10, 2021, 06:43:04 PM
Damn, I laughed out loud when I read the title of this post  Grin Grin Oh god, does my god exist in gambling  Grin Grin No god can save your life when you are a gambler  Grin Grin

Yep, but I think some religious people will play gambling, even if they know that gambling is prohibited in their religion.
It means that those people do not respect the very religion they are following. Everyone has their own beliefs and religions, but once one believes in a religion, I think everyone should follow dogma, it seems bad to defy dogma to gamble. Very bad! They're following a religion they don't even respect  Undecided
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / MOTOGP Tournament - Betting? on: June 10, 2021, 06:34:58 PM

Hey guys, I've been getting more exposure to MotoGP races on news channels lately, which I've rarely seen in my country before. Admittedly, watching the races unfold is an extremely fascinating and fascinating thing  Cheesy I've been following it for the past few days, and I suddenly had a thought.

If football is the king sport, the biggest soccer matches in the world are welcome and are offered by many casinos to bet on, then why not a casino that allows us to bet on racing matches? Most of the current sports betting platforms are football, some have a few other types of sports, however, I have not seen any casinos that allow betting on MotoGP racing. Why can't it become popular, even though the races are so attractive that few people want to miss it. For racing, people often watch rather than bet, why?

Do you guys think there is any reason or limitation for this?

By the way, the above image is taken from a personal facebook page, the tournament will be held from time to time there, anyone interested, let's watch together!  Wink
263  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 10, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
oh men, I realized I misunderstood Charles-Tim's point at first when I increased the fee to 10 sat/vB and I didn't know that it was somewhere around 5 sat/B  Grin I started to wonder when Lucius said I can't speed up this transaction. I can finally figure it out, I changed the transaction fee again, looks like it's on the right path, the transaction has been completed now  Cheesy

I really thank you both very much, especially Charles-Tim. Thank you again for guiding me through everything from yesterday until now! I love you guys  Kiss
264  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 10, 2021, 02:34:31 PM
I checked your transaction has not yet been confirmed, can you increase the fee to 30 sat/vbyte so it can be confirmed very early. Make sure you check mempool.space for the best fee. But if you wait, the transaction will be confirmed during this weekend because mempool will be less congested.
@ChuckBuck, even if I was online I couldn't help you because you set a low fee both times - as you've already read vbyte and byte are not the same - and if you have a new transaction that meets the conditions, I'll be happy to help.
I'm not sure I can keep waiting, it would be bad if this deal lasted until the end of the week. So, now I should increase the transaction fee, again, right? How much do I need to increase it so it can be supported by the accelerator or at least can be confirmed by tomorrow? I have no experience here  Cheesy looks like I need about 31sat/vB to complete the transaction sooner right?
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 10, 2021, 01:55:54 PM
Despite losing my money there, it's a love/hate relationship I wouldn't change. It's probably one of the most interesting games I've played.
I've never seen anyone hate a game when they can't win it, they may prefer it instead, they can play more to satisfy their need to overcome the challenge, except when, they fail too many times  Cheesy

Haha, dude, I know exactly what you are talking about! Smiley When I was a kid we were playing "poker" in the neighborhood, and only much later I realized how different it was from what adults in the Western world were calling poker. We were playing it with 36 cards deck, one card, seven of spades, was a Joker, and could represent any card you wanted. Can you imagine? Joker, ffs!   Grin At the present moment, I can't even remember all those crazy rules, but it was "regular poker" for us back then, and we loved it.
I have never played with 36 cards, I always play with 52 cards, the problem is that the calculations and strategies in poker that I see in tournaments are so varied, anything is possible. When I play poker with my friends, there are more restricted things  Cheesy Anyway, there's always a difference  Cheesy
266  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 09, 2021, 10:57:05 PM
I will advice you to wait, but if you need the recent mempool feerate that can get your transaction confirmed in the next block, you can check https://mempool.space for that, the feerate that can get you transaction confirm in the next block is around 35 sat/vbyte. But I will advice you to wait if you are not in a hurry.
These surges over the last couple of weeks don't last too long - I know it might be painful to wait for many hours to have your funds cleared, but the mempool has been draining away to nothing quite quickly.
Keep an eye on the progress of the mempool and the blocks found on the block-chain at https://mempool.space/
ya, I'll keep waiting, actually I'm not in a hurry, but you know, BTC is still in correction and I really don't know which way it's going to move  Cheesy I am also going to bed, this means that I am about to go to bed nervous (even though the amount I send is only a small amount  Grin). Anyway, I'll ignore it for now.

You guys have really great expertise! I don't often learn about things like that, maybe there are not many traders with this knowledge, only real BTC enthusiasts like you  Cheesy Thank!
267  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 09, 2021, 08:40:22 PM
10 sat/vbyte is okay, and if not confirmed in time, you can still pump it further. But 10 sat/vbyte should be good.
It's been three hours and the transaction is still unconfirmed, maybe I really need Lucius' help, but it looks like he's not online now  Cheesy i will try to wait a few more hours, if i keep increasing the fee, the transaction will be done again right? I'm wondering because it might take more time
268  Economy / Lending / Re: DarkStar's Loans | BTC, USDT | 2.70%-6.60% Monthly on: June 09, 2021, 07:36:03 PM
BTC is back up now, but an extra $20 for an extension is fine with me (as long as the extension is of reasonable length)!
BTC is coming back, but altcoins are not yet, maybe next day or two for the recovery to take place, I will try to complete this loan for you as soon as possible  Cheesy I'm really sorry about this  Cheesy
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 09, 2021, 07:27:55 PM
I don't gamble anymore, and I didn't gamble that much before so I don't really like complicated games because it's double damage whenever you lose a match in my opinion.
To some extent, gambling can cause losses, and that's true, but I think gambling in the crypto space is an interesting thing that nearly every man wants to participate in, right? Do you think complicated games will give us more enjoyment?

I personally prefer poker games because when we have bad cards but manage to bluff other players, it certainly gives us satisfaction in the game Grin Grin.
You can fool others, you can be fooled, sometimes you win with small hands, sometimes lose with big hands, in general it is a game that relies more on wisdom than luck, it is great point!

Right now I'm preferring live dice games, baccarat, blackjack and many more like slots and even on the world of sports betting to crash games.
Sports betting is a good option, you can spend a lot of time and can make money with it, a viable option to consider as a business
270  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 09, 2021, 05:45:46 PM
This can happen when the mempool is not congested at all. Your transaction support replace-by-fee, which means you can pump the fee. Click on your unconfirmed transaction on electrum, you will see where you can pump the fee, click on it and pump it. This will increase the feerate to the amount you adjusted it to.
ya, hope I do it right Cheesy

new txt here, should i claim speedup with this new txt? I increased it to the minimum you mentioned above. Honestly, 0.9$ for transaction fee is still too cheap right now  Cheesy
271  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: June 09, 2021, 05:32:20 PM
Your transaction is 1 sat/vbyte, it support replace-by-fee, pump it to around 5 to 10 sat/vbyte. No free acceleratator can help you accelerate the transaction as ViaBTC will can only accelerate transactions with at least a fee of 10 sat/byte which is still enough to get a transaction confirmed this time around.
I really don't know why this happened, I was even surprised by it. Today, I open electrum to make my trade, everything is set as before, I just don't understand why fees are so low. I usually make trades with average fee, but today it was at its lowest without my influence, strangely, it is at 0.08$ when i press execute button. I don't think I can cancel the transaction and make another one, maybe?

273  Other / Meta / Re: frodocooper nolonger a mod, what could have happened? on: June 09, 2021, 01:32:49 PM
Do not know what it pays or if it pays but it would be okay by me to do either one.
In addition to being recommended here, do you think you should go through the registration process to be able to take up the job? I've never seen someone apply to be a mod of a section, I'm curious if it's really the next one. I'm curious if it actually works out in a way I don't know yet, I don't think theymos will pm and ask if someone wants to take this job, he will?
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 09, 2021, 01:27:29 PM
I too hate slots and dice has been here since the start but still feels the best option to wager. At times when I am really looking to wager whether it's for the races or weekly lottery, I wager via dice.
lol, so strange! Rarely do I see someone who hates a game but continues with it. there are so many different ways to bet, sure dice is not the best game, you even hate it, why choose it?
Dice is a luck-based game, you'll never gonna win in the long run, so don't concentrate on it, instead, enjoy and be ready to lose.
there aren't any betting strategies available for Dice, as you are essentially charged a fee for each bet, which will be many times larger than what we imagine through number of bets. With the larger the bets, the more even the odds of winning and losing, it means you will get your payback, but no, you lose because of the betting fees  Undecided
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 09, 2021, 09:05:43 AM
My favorite game, by a wide margin, is poker, NL Hold'em, in particular. I tried playing all other poker games, but found out they weren't made for me. NL Hold'em, on the other hand, is a game I really love to play. Especially tournaments.
What is NL Hold'em? I have never heard of it. I just play regular poker with my friends  Cheesy

Specially playing live roulette is a lot of fun , i just play it with small amounts just for having fun
To me, it doesn't feel much, tried playing a few times and i feel your odds of winning this game are very small, it's not a good idea to spend money to play a game with too high a loss rate  Undecided I prefer something easier
276  Other / Archival / Re: SCAM Not Moderated? on: June 08, 2021, 06:49:54 PM
I've never really bought the rationale "We don't moderate scams because we don't want to create a false sense of security."
I think the difference here is probably between moderation and accusation/removal. Personally, I understand it in terms of separate aspects. Moderation means mods have to go through every post, every user transaction on this forum to see if they're trying to scam, and obviously mods can't do this, and no responsibility either. On the contrary, for accusing or removing users, that is when the scammer has been detected, it can be detected by other users and reported by them, or experienced by the mod itself during the transaction. So, obviously, with accusing scammers with existing evidence, mods can do it, but for censorship, it's impossible, right?

We cannot ask anyone to protect our safety when we are active on a forum, so it makes no sense to claim scam moderation  Undecided
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 08, 2021, 06:34:38 PM
I haven't played crash during my gambling time, most of it are betting or poker so I can't say for sure that I like this game, for me, this kind of game don't have the same appeal as poker or betting.
Have you ever tried playing it? It's a pity, it's really fun, it's not a game of skill at all, it's up to your luck for what's to come. Have you ever seen fortune telling? This is like you are trying to predict your own future, the feeling of winning is amazing  Cheesy
My favorite game when it comes to gambling would probably be horse racing because I grew up near a horse race betting house so I get to be in loved with the betting and soon enough, I learn how to bet in it and so far I did good but the pandemic made me stop doing it because the online one doesn't have the same appeal.
It seems that horse racing is a very popular game in many countries, but I have never seen it in real life  Cheesy I also hear a lot about match-fixing in races, so I don't feel it's really exciting

Yes indeed, unexpected but it will be very annoying when I keep setting high scores but the results are always low, and vice versa. It's a shame when we only bet on low values but the results are always high, and therefore sometimes I have a limit on how often high values can be achieved but the fact is, playing crash games is still not easy even though this game is very fun and entertaining.
So what do you think is the best strategy to play this game? the results are random, do you think there are any reasonable strategies for you to win easier?
278  Economy / Lending / Re: DarkStar's Loans | BTC, USDT | 2.70%-6.60% Monthly on: June 08, 2021, 06:09:01 AM
Your owed amount should be $330 as previously agreed. Thanks! (and please give me an ETH address to return the collateral to)
Excuse me, can i extend this loan now? I would liek to pay you 30$ as a fee for the first loan and the remaining 300$ will continue on the new loan. Is it okay? I didn't check BTC price yesterday, I just woke up and was quite surprised it dropped 10%, my investment is down 20% now and I don't want to get out of it right away, I hope to extend this loan and wait for a price recovery  Cheesy I will pay an extra 20$ for this extension, do you agree? Really sorry for this incident

What important for me is the satisfaction it can give for playing my favorite game.
Ya, exactly, you have a great point here, it's something I look forward to hearing from people on this thread.
hence we have a high chance to win.
but there is no guarantee of winning, sport is like a game of poker, there are so many factors that go into a match, it turns into a random variable, so it is impossible to be sure of any thing
Knowledge alone wont be enough if you have no skills to choose what is the best possible thing to bet.
as I said above, sport is also a random factor. So I conclude that we need knowledge and a little love on the team we bet, maybe a little bit of luck as well.
You can test out many strategies without immediately going broke.
all strategies are broken, time + bets will be the breaking factor of your strategy, the more your bets, the strategies will go wrong and make you lose
